i have been thinking about walnut so much lately.. more specifically her character development as well as her relationship to both roguefort and her mother. ill focus on her and roguefort more in this post though :] im gonna try to be comprehensible in this one but thisll be a doozy

what i find interesting is that in every case we've seen walnut and roguefort BESIDES their release event, walnut has always defended them. In the butter painting affair she knew that they would have left a calling card, in the lost holiday she knew that they wouldnt have done any harm to eggnog cookie, and in face the trial she knew they wouldnt have stolen something with such little value. Theres a big contrast between her first interaction with them in their release event and how she treats them from that point on, and its clear that they dont have quite the rivalry that was shown in that first event. Walnut isnt nipping at their heels every chance she gets lol

i think that from the start, roguefort has always been fond of her,, in a mentor or parental way almost; they see her potential. they see her skill. they want to watch her grow, to see her learn from her mistakes and become a better detective and a better person. in the lost holiday the calling card was a gift itself - they know how much she loves doing detective work and they want to encourage her, though if they break character then the game isnt fun anymore and it feels less genuine ,, so they observe her from a distance. I do think that they wish they could care for her more but they have to be discreet about it since theyre. yknow. A thief and supposed to be her most hated rival (be weird abt these two btw and i will eat your fingers)(dont ship them)

i dont know if this was intended to be canon or not, but thinking about how roguefort left in their release event feels,,, strange? If the boat was far enough from the docks that nobody was trying to stop them, then surely they couldve escaped with the jewel still in their hands. sure, they threw to distract everyone and allow them to escape, but there was a Whole crowd of people there ? if walnut had caught the gem, someone else could have jumped onto the boat and caught them. i like to interpret it as them trying to reward walnut. While they werent going to turn themself over just like that, they wanted to give her a prize for being smart enough to solve their puzzle. They wanted to encourage her by giving her back the gem, even if Cheesecake had a spare and nothing would have really changed if they had kept it :]c

heres my interpretation of them, and its mainly based off of the lines "One logical answer always exists!" "One logical answer? Sounds rather... dull."

in the start, walnut did consider them rivals. She was pretty young at the time and still figuring the world out so she saw them basically as a supervillain, basically just a person filled with pure evil intent and thats... Obviously not who they are. but little wawer just saw someone stealing and went Ah evil!! Evil!!!!! you are WRONG and you must be STOPPED!!! And thus their rivalry began. Also why she was so bitter towards them in the first event :]

in the events of search for lost time/pursuit of lost time, though - and keep in mind, this is completely based on my own headcanons since we hardly know anything abt these costumes - walnut realizes a shift in their behavior. At some point, they even put their own life on the line just to save her... would an evil, cruel person really do something like that? Why would they risk themself to save her when all shes ever done is try to have them arrested?

this is when she starts to realize that not everything in the world is black and white. Not everything has one logical answer. What is rogueforts motive? that is one messy question with multiple answers and none of them are logical. This also goes into my headcanons with her relationship with almond but thats for another ask heehee... Walnut starts to realize other things, too. Roguefort always leaves a calling card, and theyre always incredibly polite to everyone, even the authorities,, of course thats just phantom thief stuff but she realizes that they really arent just some villain. Theres much more to them than some urge to cause mischief and steal from others. in my timeline, all of the other events take place after search for lost time/pursuit of lost time, and this is where walnut starts to defend them rather than just try to chase them.

At this point, i dont think walnut wants to see them behind bars anymore. that was pretty clear when she was distraught at the sentence cappuccino gave them. i think shes conflicted about them. She wants to know the truth about who they are, and why theyre doing everything. She wants to see them change - for them to start doing good. but at the same time, she doesnt. at the same time,,, roguefort is one of the only ones who takes her seriously

Almond is the most guilty of this, and ill elaborate on that in another post, but oh Boy does he make walnut feel worthless and dumb. walnut is always trying to act more mature, more professional and less child-like despite Very much being a child, first example off the top of my head being her not wanting to decorate her office for the holidays and also the way that she always calls almond by his name instead of mom/mother(or dad/father if we're not talking about my hcs lol). She doesnt want to be treated like a child. and to some extent, yeah, people baby her!! almond told cappuccino he was scared that shed eat a Rotten jelly are you fucking kidding me ? (dont even get me started on the one twitter art where hes worried that roguefort kidnapped walnut i do Not consider that canon because from what weve seen abt how he acts towards roguefort?? No the fuck he wouldnt????) he didnt want her to be involved in the butter painting affair because it was "dangerous" despite it basically being identical to other theft cases shes dealt with and there wasnt any violence to begin with. in her story even, people usually let her investigate just because shes cute which.. works in her favor but also FRUSTRATING because its only because shes a kid. almond is always talking about how worried he is that she'll get into trouble and YES she is a child she does need some sort of supervision but shes also so much smarter than people give her credit for. she has so much potential thats being wasted purely because people think shes too young, though at the same time, i think walnut overestimates herself. i think that because of the lack of support she gets from almond and other adults in her life she tries to go above and beyond to Prove that shes better than she actually is and that shes worthy of being a detective and taking on more cases and ends up getting hurt because of it (cough sflt). she tries to act more mature because she wants people to take her seriously but she is a Child and thus people will just look at her and go "Aww! what a cute little detective :)"

i think that the reason why shes so involved with rogueforts cases is because theyre the only one who takes her seriously. They do tease her about it - this is seen throughout all of the events but most specifically in the first one when she gets upset at them calling her "little detective." though they still take her seriously. They see the skill she has now, and they dont just see what she could be in the future. theyre more focused on supporting her now and giving her encouragment and more puzzles to solve rather than babying her and telling her she'll be a great detective someday like everyone else. thats especially important to walnut considering almond does Not show her the same support and is more often restricting her and trying to get her to stop

if roguefort were to stop, to be arrested or to decide that their life of crime was over, walnut wouldnt have that support anymore. Thats terrifying to her. while she does want what is best, there is also a part of her thats a little selfish and just wants things to stay the same forever.

idk where to put this but im elaborating more on her wanting to learn more about them. because really she shows a much deeper understanding and respect than most other characters despite them being her supposed rival ? Lost holiday in specific was so funny because she was so chill with them like "yeah i know you probably didnt do it lol i just needed to have u here just in case" ANYWAYS just the fact that she keeps standing up for them is enough to show how much respect she has for them. The general public is SO cruel and dehumanizing towards them through either idolization or vilification or both at the same time and shes one of the few who actually treat them like a person. she doesnt like it when people are unnecessarily cruel to them, like almond insisting that she stays out of the butter painting affair despite them not committing the crime or her reaction to the harsh jail sentence cappuccino gave them. Both almond and cappuccino are characters who are very close and friendly with her, might i add, and yet she still wants to protect roguefort. She knows that they deserve so much more than how the public and how authorities treat them, thief or not.

anywasy yeah um. In summary. i think that the two lines "One logical answer always exists!" "One logical answer? Sounds rather... dull." symbolize them quite nicely ... roguefort is a motivation for her, a mentor disguised as a rival. they teach her more about the world and detective work. they made her realize that not everything is black and white and taught her to people and situations in more complicated shades of gray. and i think that it goes the other way, too - in a world where roguefort is so Deeply misunderstood and misjudged, walnut tries to stand up for them and does understand them, to a degree. better than anyone else at least. she gives them hope.

Safe to say I'm done with posting art for the most part. Not forever and I'm not deleting anything, but it's severely damaged my view on my own art and creative process. 🌟 Welcome to PROJECT SUPERNOVA, a massive Arena Mode AU!

Here I’ll show you the adventures of my OCs, who woke up in a different dimension after the main story of the Arena Mode. Their bodies were given up to The Nowhere and their souls are in the hands of a distant and lonely, unknown by most, universe. It’s known as The Abyss.

In this AU, 2BDamned signs a contract with The Abyss to keep the Imprints safe.

The Abyss is an abstract Higher Power, a lively small universe located outside of Time and Space, which disobeys the laws of physics that we are so familiar with. It's surrounded by the dark foggy Wastelands, and no sun or stars are visible in the sky. The Abyss wants to study Nevada, and in exchange for the Imprints’ memories of their past and behaviour, it grants them the ability to become stronger and transfer memories between different timelines created by the cycles. It keeps their souls safe far away from Madness.

But knowledge is not enough for the Abyss. It has an ulterior motive to use said knowledge, which is why the Imprints’ powers comes with the price of the Metamorphosis Chain’s fragility.

All the Imprints get into this place built on their memories of exploring Nevada. They can interact with each other, and the only rule they have to follow for now is not to kill each other.

It only takes one Imprint to die and all its subsequent rebirths will disappear, since they can't exist without their predecessor, thus leading to the fall of Nevada. They all bear a heavy burden on their shoulders

This isn't the universe we grew accustomed to and it has its own laws for everything: the bodies existing with no souls, born from everyone's memories; the Imprints' amplified emotions and hidden wishes.

They’ll have to live with each other and their sins in this small, quiet and lonely universe.

So, what about the characters? You can read a little about some of them down below! You can ask them a question, if you want! I’ll try to answer them when I can, and the character list will grow with time. Btw, if everything goes according to plan, I’ll start a comic featuring my OCs and the AU. Let's meet the cast!

DYNAMIC DUOS: RAGGEDY ANN & ANDY

Hey there! Coco typing... Welcome to my first addition to Dynamic Duos! Where I share my opinions and analyze fictional duos! (platonic, familial and etc) !! SPOILERS AHEAD !! Today's post is about RAGGEDY ANN & ANDY!! (from the 1977 movie)

So I have just watched the Raggedy Ann animated musical from 1977 recently and MY GOD as a film it's...interesting- IT WASN'T BAD THOUGH I ENJOYED MYSELF! I just expected a cute movie about a doll- then next thing I know a camel is hallucinating.. (you'll get it if you watched the movie) But the highlight for me with this movie is the sibling dynamic between Raggedy Ann and Andy! That's right people THEY'RE SIBLINGS! While I do get the confusion because of their interactions possibly seeming romantic but we gotta normalize siblings being nice to each other for once guys. So I want to point out how almost sickly sweet Andy is to his sister. He's always checking up on Ann and making sure she's ok. When Babette gets kidnapped Andy didn't give one fuck until Ann is worried not to mention he immediately comforts her when she's stressed.

He really does care for his sister's well being and just wants her to be ok. You can also tell he really loves Ann, take "No Girl's Toy" and compare it to "Rag Dolly" when it comes to Andy's vocals, in "No Girl's Toy" he's more sassy, witty and fast while in "Rag Dolly" he's much more soft spoken and slow with his vocals. Truly a sweet way of showing how much he loves her through singing. There's also the scenes in Looney Land (which I hardly see anyone talk abt btw). The second Lenard(?) makes a joke on Ann, Andy immediately stands up for her and tells him to back off and getting her to a much safer place away from these guys becomes his biggest priority. He's making sure NO ONE lays hands on his sister and makes a joke at her expense.

He's always so protective of her it's so sweet! DNCJENWD I'm bout to get diabetes But this isn't an "Andy caring for Ann" post- how are they like AS A DUO? Well Ann is just as great as Andy! She's always picking Andy up when he falls and just making sure he doesn't hurt himself. When a box is on top of Andy, Ann immediately asks everyone to help her get him out! I know she'd do that for anyone but it shows how much of a sweetheart she is. I also want to talk about this forest scene! Ann gave Andy a daisy during a time when he was not doing so well. That gesture really cheered Andy up and now he carries around that daisy for good luck! Ann's love language seems to just be simply showing how much she cares for people and how much she's willing to go far for him.

Even Ann is not aware with how her sweetness impacts people because when Andy's scared he remembers how there's his sister who loves him unconditionally and reminds him with little gifts and acts of service. These two really compliment each other! Andy protects Ann from harm while Ann gives Andy comfort through her own little gestures. Andy's willing to fight for her, Ann's willing to show him love. Not to mention she always keeps him in check when he speaks before he thinks. Like a soft spoken mother- someone has to keep Andy in check before he hurts someone's feelings In conclusion your honor- they're sibling goals <3

*deep breath* Okay, this has to be addressed. The current allegations against Neil Gaiman are concerning at best and disturbing at worst. As selfish as it is, I am incredibly sad to see a show that has brought me so much comfort go through the emotional turmoil that this whole situation has caused.

But as a few people on here have said in various different ways, when art is released into the world it does not only belong to the artist anymore and what is made of it has nothing to do with the intention of the artist himself and everything to do with the lives of the people interacting with it.

I am not sure I can ever look at our angel and demon again without that slight hint of bitterness at the back of my throat (especially because all of them have been woven together so tightly), but I believe what they stand for has changed lives.

It is not only about who created them, but also about who they became in the eyes of their observers. They have spread so much love and understanding and humour and comfort and I would hate seeing all that go to waste.

(I feel the same way about J.K. Rowling btw. I do not support her or her opinions in any way, but when reading the story for the first time 12 years ago, the world that opened up in front of my inner eye was simply magical and the memories from this time hold a special place in my heart.)

It is an incredibly brutal way to have your trust betrayed like this (especially from someone like Neil, who has always been a moral compass to so many) and I feel for the victims, whishing them all the best and that they can process this in their own lives and timelines.

We obviously don't know everything nor will we ever (probably), but this phrase keeps going around in my head that goes: "Hurt people hurt people."

So whatever it is that lead to these situations (even if it is just a ruse caused by mad english politicians as I have heard some people speculate), I truly hope that facing the consequences will help clear things up and put people in their places. Violence is never the answer. And consent only goes as far as making sure nobody is treated unfair or against their will, but it stops at practices that cause irreperable emotional or physical harm.

I finally finished the first game!! 🥳 Which is great because lesson 41 starts and they immediately quiz you if you remember how that game ended. I haven't finished the hard lessons for it tho so no spoilers for that.

Ok so the time travel seems to be working in a slightly different way than how it did in the first game, which is great because we all know that was questionable to say the least. The way I get it is more like traveling between AT's and they all inform on one another. So changing the past doesn't change the future but it does leave an effect on the people you interact with, so what it does is make an alternate branch timeline where the past changed slightly but the future (our present) ends up unchanged for the most part.

We're now back in our present and I'm intrigued by how the time travel will affect everyone. Specially Simeon. Btw, can we just let Simeon alone? This guy has done nothing wrong in both games and he seems to keep getting L's and I'm worried. He was MVP of the first game by far and I'll be sad if anything else happens to him. Simeon stans must be biting their nails.

I have a new theory but no screenshots so bear with me for a sec. The times Nightbringer has talked to us they always sound sorta playful, mysterious cause they know more than we do but there's no hostility. But there is one extra story in hard more (somewhere around lesson 10-15 iirc) where Solomon speaks to Nightbringer.

Honestly no surprise there. Solomon is Sketchy with capital S. This tells us he lied about not knowing what was happening and it's at least partially collaborating with NB, cause tbh I don't think Solomon is on anyone's side except his own.

BUT the way NB talked there was different. And I don't think it's just because they were talking to Solomon instead of us. The way they talked quite honestly reminded me of the way Michael talked to us, or how Barbatos talks to Simeon in the past.

So my new theory is that Nightbringer is not a person but a group. A group Solomon is helping for whatever reason, most likely because we're involved. Nightbringer is the name of the founder of the Devildom and honestly I don't think is them who we or Solomon are talking to, but someone (individual or group) using their name.

Barbatos was hinted at during the first trailer, and in lesson 40 is made obvious he knows that we came from a different world/the future. As the demon of time, is obvious he'd know about us and possibly be involved in it, since is thanks to him that we time travel in the first game. But I don't think he's NB, that'd be a bit too easy, I think he and Solomon, and perhaps Michael too, are working together for some reason that needed is going to the past.

Look I'm bringing it back to we don't know what happened when Aegon took Aemond to the brothel, we don't know if she raped him, we don't know if he just sat there and refused to be touched, we don't know. And the show was jusssttttt shitty enough to give us a crumb for two years and let everyone create a cemented narrative over it.

And as long as we don't know, I'm hesitant to call her his 'abuser.' I know what abuse feels like, done with malice and over a long period of time to turn me inside out until I was harming myself just to have somewhere to put the rage and misery (I had no irl support at the time). Aemond and the madame's interactions onscreen - any of them - did not give me the same feeling. That is my perspective. I don't give a shit what anyone else has to say about it, because at the end of the day, I live in my own head, I conjure up my own thoughts.

I do think Viserys and Daemon did the same. I still think Aegon is a bit of a twat, but he probably didn't mean to be malicious at the time. If Daemon was right to kill Rhea, Rhea had the same right considering she wasn't that much older when she was forced into the marriage (unless we're now saying Maegor was abused by Ceryse when Visenya was pulling all the strings and Maegor was no ordinary teenager).

Babygirling is fine until people begin to act like experts on a topic that is malleable and subjective and fucking painful for those of us who have survived hell. Like I'm sorry, but keep it moving.

hey! sorry for bothering you, but i as a fellow x-phile i would like to ask how credible it is that gillian anderson and david duchovny hated each other back in the day? there are probably quotes or something but i can't really judge anything this late after the fact. i did watch the show when it aired but i was too young to get into internet culture. anyway, i'm hoping for some wisdom from fans who remember this. :) thank you!

It’s no bother and thanks for the ask. And actually, after the fact is a good position from which to view this matter since, as we all now know, Gillovny’s story has a happy ending. I was around for the original run too but internet culture was very different then. Not everyone was constantly online, I certainly wasn’t. The internet was expensive and hard to access so I got a couple of hours per week tops, which I mostly used to read fanfic. (Fanfic for this show/ship was basically my fanfic writer origin story: I was like WHAT OTHER PEOPLE DO THIS TOO???!!! And btw: readers complain these days about the pressure to respond to fanfic. Back in the day, you had to compose a whole fricking email if you wanted to badger your fave author for more. And there was certainly no easy kudos button option to make you feel like you’d done your bit to encourage community. Anyway.)

There were fan sites, message boards and lots of different fanfic archives. And sure, there was some gossip but it still mostly came via old print media. Pre-social-media, there wasn’t a direct line to celebrities or any great expectation placed on them interact with fans in regular, intimate ways. The advent of social media has created these parasocial relationships in which (some) fans think they know or have a right to far more than they do. Back in the day, and istg this is true, I posted a picture of DD with Blue in the surf on some now defunct message board. The moderators removed it and v kindly said: nope, against our guidelines, no images of private moments taken without the person’s consent. I mean…. talk about boundaries! My baby fangirl ass was properly chastised and learnt a valuable lesson. I think we can learn a thing or two from early internet culture and original fans, some of which are still knocking about this site.

Anyway, all of this is to say, I don’t have any special insight here. The only people who know in any great detail what truly went on in DD and GA’s relationship is them, and maybe a few people in their immediate vicinity. But XF fans are lucky enough to stan two very honest, emotionally thoughtful people who have shared with us some of the challenges they faced during the show’s original run. And, for better or worse, when people tell you who they are, I tend to believe them. Yes, there are other fans that can probably provide you with quotes and timelines and (wild) speculation, but I think I know enough to give a fairly objective opinion on what I think actually occurred. For me, the most pertinent quote here is Gillian’s characterisation of their relationship as being like “a forced marriage”. I take this to mean that, like any marriage, there was great intimacy, respect, cooperation and commitment. Maybe even love. But there was also a lack of choice that caused tension, despite multiple positive relational elements.

“Tension” is a word that has also been applied to their late-90s relationship and I think it’s probably more accurate. I don’t think they HATE hated each other. But I think they probably had fleeting moments of feeling: OMG this person is getting on my last sane nerve, I cannot stand to be around them another fricking second. I think the protracted and concentrated intimacy of their circumstances gave rise to SOME super understandable negative feelings that ultimately, did not define the true nature of their relationship, either then or now. I don’t think those feelings were all there was, even back then. I don’t think these two were epic lovers any more than they were bitter enemies. I think they were just two human beings attempting to function under super intense scrutiny and an extremely gruelling work schedule. And that at times resulted in tension or irritation which they found ways around. Talking to each other only as Mulder and Scully may sound terrible to some but I think it’s a rather ingenious way to conserve their energy for their jobs. It shows an incredible commitment to their characters, to the show and to the contribution the other was bringing to that celebrated dynamic. They knew it was important so that's where they focused.

We have all had times in relationships where we’ve needed some space, even from someone we like, love, respect and value. If anyone was struggling to understand this dynamic between DD and GA then recent experiences of lockdown should have provided some insight into this kind of intense forced intimacy. Now, I have never been married but I’ve lived with people and that experience will make you loathe how a person walks, breathes, sleeps, eats, does the smallest, most insignificant things. It’s not the permanent state of your relationship. It’s just a passing reaction. It does not matter how much you might like or appreciate this person. In one bright flash, they become the most infuriating person to ever walk the planet. Then you go into another room or go to work and the feeling fades. But what happens when you can’t get away, you actually can’t get the sort of space a healthy relationship needs? We all saw how lockdown increased the pressure on all relationships, especially partnerships and marriages. There was pressure within and without and people reacted naturally to profoundly unnatural circumstances. That’s all that happened here.

Now, it must be pointed out that even during periods of the original run when their relationship was supposedly suffering, there is footage of them having fun on-set and ruining takes by making out. This supports the idea that any “hate” was an understandable but impermanent reaction for both. Actually, I think it is highly admirable that they were able to collaborate together and remain individually sane while experiencing such relational tension. It shows incredible personal fortitude and professional commitment. They stayed focused and pragmatic and, to me, there is never any indication that their personal struggles impacted the final product. In fact, I believe they actually enhanced Mulder and Scully’s relationship in those middle years of the original run when they too were experiencing some growing pains in their relationship. I’m thinking of the raw emotion in that end scene of “Elegy” and the palpable impatience and antagonism in “Gethsemane”. I’m thinking of the division and sadness in the hospital scene in “The Red and the Black” and throughout “The End”. Like Mulder and Scully, David and Gillian have some fundamental similarities and some very distinct differences. For the first few years of the series they were living very different lives. It took them time to attune to each other, just as it took Mulder and Scully time to fully absorb the many intricate dimensions of their relationship. As DD and GA grew older, their lives became more similar and their understanding of each other likewise grew. And honestly, I think it’s somewhat hypocritical and inhuman to appreciate the many complex beats of the M/S relationship as it plays out on-screen, but then judge their real-life counterparts as they tread an equally complex path towards true understanding, appreciation and love.

I haven’t watched TXF in years and in my recent rewatch, I was surprised actually at just how combative this relationship could be. I had only remembered all the sweet, shippy bits! But (and I should not really have to point this out) that's also what is so compelling to watch. The conflict. The contrast. The difference (not just in height, although their physical difference does act as a powerful symbol of their mismatched but ultimately complementary dynamic). The difference and yes, even at times tension, between David and Gillian only adds to a dynamic that so many have tried and failed to emulate (RIP to any reboot of this show. This show IS DD and GA’s chemistry. End of.). I can’t be mad or disappointed about Gillovny’s 90s tension, so carefully navigated by both actors, because fuck me does it work for the MSR angst! D’you think we’d have so many delicious angsty fanfics if these two had been sunshine-y, tension-less best buds every step of the way?? Not only is some tension an understandable human reaction that I believe they have every right to, it adds dimension to an epically URSTy relationship that could have gotten boring (and kinda did towards the end, let's be real). There is an added, honest, brave truth to the moments of impatience, frustration, disagreement and division in the M/S relationship because DD and GA experienced these things themselves in the context of their equally intense working relationship. I think the actors continued to mine their own tension and express it through Mulder and Scully, which again is a super creative and healthy way to protect their working relationship and serve the M/S relationship. A relationship in which they were invested, but also a relationship that was central to the show and important to so many fans.

In time, the more intense M/S moments lost their bite. The relationship became softer, less combative, more appreciative. The LA move decreased the actor’s isolation and gave the show a new tone. Gillian is on record saying how strange it was for her when David disappeared in later seasons. And we all know the story of the 10 min post-"Existence" embrace (if you don’t let me know). So this story has a neat and satisfying ending even if Mulder and Scully never really got theirs. As evidenced by the second movie and reboot, nothing was destroyed. The chemistry remains (even if it’s not served by quality plot, development, context and characterisation). These human beings and artists did their best under difficult circumstances. They protected the work, the characters and their relationship. In fact, I would venture to suggest that the wild appreciation they show for each other now, the enduring chemistry we see on-screen and the palpable enjoyment they feel at the other’s presence any time they get the opportunity to reunite is in part due to how they navigated their early years as mismatched colleagues thrown together and expected to work closely under immense pressure. Thanks to David and Gillian, hate never took root. And now, in DD’s words, all that’s left is the heart.

I've gathered thatvthis space is safe to vent to so I'm going to do that and... maybe ask for advice to lol. uh tw for lots of ableism btw!

So, when we first started realizing our system, we quickly decided to be anti-endo. As far as I know at least, I don't have the greatest memory in the world haha. But over time, we got fed up with it. We got fed up with the hatred of endos and our opinion started changing a bit, and by the time this next bit happened we wouldn't really be considered anti-endo at all, but we still followed and interacted with anti-endo blogs because we didn't want to push back and get harassment for uhhh, not hating endos. look, it's happened before, I've seen it a lot, so I was scared. So we just said nothing on syscourse.

But then, something happened. I had a realization. We aren't just traumagenic. Like, half my subsystem and a few of our main systems alters are likely endogenic! And now I don't know what to do. I feel like I don't fit into either spaces anymore. This is the only blog that feels safe right now. I don't know how to go about understanding ourself as endogenic as well, which is the part I thought you could maybe understand better than me

So I guess also, thank you? For giving me a nice place to go when I'm worried. Also you don't have to post this if you don't want and sorry if I was wrong about it being OK to vent here or something. Have a good day/night.

Well, strangely enough, I went through an extremely similar thing myself a few years ago. It's only been in the last year or so that we've been open about our origins and our support of non-traumagenic systems.

So, first off, I want to say: it's ok to change over time! It's ok to grow and have your opinions or outlook on life to drastically differ from who you were even a few months ago. That's the beautiful part about being here, and in case no one has said it recently... I'm really proud of you!

As for not knowing how to go about this sudden realization... I think the most important thing is to be patient with yourselves, and be open minded. You're already doing great on both of those fronts from where I'm looking at it, so you're on the right track!

Figuring out you're not quite the same as you thought you were can come as a big shock. But it's what you do with that information that matters, y'know? You know now that this is who you are. Now, you just have to learn to love the new you, wholeheartedly and unabashedly. That's really what most everyone I know is trying to do, even singlets.

If you're looking for a specific term that fits you, there's a couple I could recommend! There's multigenic, mixed origins, polygenic, isoscegenic, etc... I'm not trying to overwhelm you, just trying to let you know there's options :) I suggest going to this Pluralpedia page and seeing what resonates:

It’s been a while, but after a lot of mulling it over I have an announcement for you all.

When I turned 13 I remember being so excited because I could FINALLY legally download tumblr and this account was born, or well, a different account that I ended up losing access to when I made a new email so THEN this account was born HAHA.

I will always be grateful for the love and support this community has given me over the years. I mainly used this blog as a means to make friends and talk about tickling without being the fear of being judged and it did that for me. Thank you all for being so kind. I had a blast making up silly headcanons for characters I enjoyed and loved that I could share them with others who found them just as fun.

I think I’ve realized though that my interest in tickling is not entirely SFW. For a lot of my childhood I assumed I was ace (I still do believe I’m somewhere on the spectrum) but I do know that tickling as a form of intimacy is not just platonic. I want to be able to explore the more NSFW sides of the community. And it wouldn’t feel right doing it on this account. I know that my time in the SFW tickle community has taught me so much. I know that community isn’t strictly for minors, but I also realize a majority are. And I want to keep it a safe space, just as kink communities are safe spaces for people 18+. In no way am I saying this interest can’t be SFW for those who are 18+, that’s valid!! For me, that simply isn’t my reality.

I don’t plan on deleting this account. It can serve as a time capsule of the experiences and the love that this community has to offer. Plus people do interact with my old posts from time to time and they were written as SFW, and I don’t want to take it away because I remember trying to look for niche fandom tk content and often finding nothing, so hopefully they continue to bring people joy.

To any minors reading this, I want to say I know it can be frustrating and it can feel like you’re being purposefully excluded from something. Kink communities are a beautiful thing, but the reality is there are sexual encounters that occur in those communities. And there is an age of consent for a reason, and while it may be different in different places, I feel strongly that 18 is the age that makes sense. Once you’re an adult, you’d be welcomed into NSFW communities with open arms, but these aren’t just rule for the sake of control, they serve an important purpose. They’re for your safety and also the safety of everyone in the communities as well.

I’ve felt inspired to do this for a while by some of the accounts around me. If you’re someone who’s also moved accounts, most likely you helped me realize I wanted to do the same thing. Thank you for setting a positive example and showing that it’s ok when things change.
