Part 2

The first weeks were much more interesting than you were prepared for, to say the least. Not for lack of preparation of course, Joost had made sure every little thing was perfect for you, even stocking the fridge and saying “You better not let this go to waste!” His dogs were much more than welcoming to you, always following like fuzzy shadows. They were extremely well trained, even if it took a couple of tries for them to understand what you were asking of them.

None of this is what made this favor interesting, what was interesting was the place you had found yourself in. Never before had you been so high strung in a friends house before. Its not like Joost hadn’t made you feel more than welcome, he was adamant that everything that was his was yours. Its just, you felt so out of place in such a personal facet of his life. You walked around like a human time bomb, not touching the many little trinkets littering the shelves, you caught yourself withdrawing from picture frames like they would jump out at you. It wasn’t that you were afraid he would be upset with you, even if you did manage to break something, but you couldn’t place why you felt so strongly while staying here.

It was easy to pretend you felt perfectly fine, especially with Joost at a distance. You told yourself it was just for a little while, that you wouldn’t pry where you weren’t needed. It was easy enough at first, but very soon came crumbling as you faced a small problem.

Joost would not. stop. texting.

It was incessant, he bombarded you from every angle. As soon as you got your brain off of the fact his entire life encompassed you, his little face popped up on your screen.

Currently you sat in his living room, a lamp filled the room with a low warm light as the tv hummed. His dogs of course littered the room, two taking up the couch on either side of of you, two more at your feet, and one sleeping in a rocking couch across the room. You decided to snap a picture of the two resting on your thighs, fuzzy white muzzles laying perpendicular, glossy eyes following your movement as you shifted. You couldn’t help but to awe at the picture taken, like two little cherubs resting on your legs! Joost would kill you if he knew you had this picture on you and didn’t share, so you didnt wait to open his messages

You couldn’t help but let a laugh rip through the quiet air, it was funny how much you could hear his voice through the text. You asked how his first shows had been going, it was almost too easy to picture him saying his texts.

“ Yeah, Helsinki was great but the ride to Denmark was crazy, im super tired but it feels so worth it” you smiled at the screen, imagining how he must be reclined on the other side of the phone, then immediately covered your face, embarrassed by the thought of you sitting with a dumb smile by yourself.

Instantly your face heated at the messages, he didn’t know you were avoiding his room like the plague, you didn’t know why. Since he had left you had reserved yourself to the couch (which to be fair was quite comfortable), despite how he pleaded ‘it would be a shame to let his bed go cold’. You didnt want to lie to your friend but you had no real reason to being so avoidant, no reason that you wanted to face head on at least.

You stared at his face at the top of your messages, a picture of you both cropped to just him, the flash from the camera gave him red eyes but his beaming smile and flushed nose and cheeks were all you ever noticed. His picture stared right back at you and for the first time it brought frustration, how was it that you could be around him just fine, talking, laughing, even hugging, yet he turns his back and you start feeling like a damn schoolgirl? Pull yourself together! you remind yourself that forced “proximity” can do crazy things to the brain and how good a friend Joost is and look back at your phone screen.

Abba was the grey curly haired dog, currently curled up on the couch sound asleep, you also found him with one of your slippers in his mouth earlier so you aren’t too surprised.

Talking to Joost never failed to lift your spirits but you still couldn’t bring yourself to rest your head where he has. You lay down on the couch instead, shifting dogs around until you are comfortable, and grab the closest blanket and pillow. Your phone was resting on the coffee table, silent now that you both wished each other good night, telling him how pissed the fans would be at you if he was too tired at his next concert. You were cemented in place by dogs so there was no chance you were going anywhere (that’s what you told yourself, anyway). It wasn’t long before your eyes were fluttering shut, lulled to sleep by the sweet hum of the tv and the warm weight of fluffy dogs.

The early sun slipped through the blinds, shining a blinding light right onto your sleeping face. You tried to shift away from the natural alarm but your legs were solidly trapped under you. Groggily slapping a hand over your face, you rubbed the crust from your eyes, still drunk on sleep you forced your eyes open. Confusion set in as you were met with your captor, Abba sat atop your legs looking back at you, uncaring as you shifted around. When you turned to grab your phone you were met with four more sets of eyes, surrounded by wagging tails waiting for you to wake up. Twisting between the dogs you grabbed your phone from the table to check the time.

It didn’t surprise you that it was well past when they would usually go out, that would explain the helicopter behavior. You squinted down at your notifications and saw joosts pink face at the top.

“take any pics on the walk today? ▼・ᴥ・▼“

You barely made out the message in your hazy stupor, opening up the camera you captured how you were trapped under one dog, then sloowwly panned ,one by one, to the rest looming over you. Chuckling, your fingers skated across the keyboard before you could think.

you watched as the typing bubble bobbed before dipping away briefly, pausing before returning to typing. By now you were more awake, shooing away dogs as you moved to start the day. You sat up on the couch, hands resting on your knees as you mentally prepared yourself for the day. When your hand buzzed again, you twisted your wrist upwards to look at what he said before your eyes widened in embarrassment.

The message wasn’t necessarily pointed in anyway, but still you felt guilty like you had been caught in a lie. Your hand touched your warm cheeks, you felt stupid for feeling embarrassed but if you hadn’t sent that dumb video none of this would be on your mind right now. If Joost was standing here for any of this he would ask if you were feeling sick or something because this behavior was not ordinary. Luckily for you though he couldn’t see your strange reaction to his messages

Just as the message shook your phone you heard the slam of a bedroom door. You jumped up eyes darting down to count the dogs sat around you. Counting four dogs you immediately followed the sound of shuffling, being led to the the open door of joosts room. Noises of a dog scuffling echoed through the shadowy room, you swallowed your pride, what type of sitter would you be to let Abba tear up his room.

you took a deep breath, stalking into the carpeted room you brushed the wall searching for a light switch.

Your eyes shifted across the room, no immediate signs of a canine except the sound of chewing coming from the middle of the room. As you stepped in deeper you heard the sound coming from under his neatly made bed, just as you went to look under abba bounded right out. A dried bone hanging from his mouth as he looked up at you curiously. You let your hand scratch at his head before he turned and trotted off! leaving you standing in Joosts room by yourself feeling silly.

You turned in place looking at the room that was giving you such trouble. It was nicely organized, pictures and posters scattered the walls but the desk was strangely emtpy. You could tell the space was for his laptop, probably on the road with him by now. There was a shelf holding cds and records next to a small table that had a brown, worn record player. There weren’t many surfaces that weren’t covered in pictures of friends or postcards. Your eyes barely skimmed the pictures as you pulled out the desk chair, wondering if he had cleaned up extra because you would be here. A stitch plush was propped up in the seat, you lifted up the blue plush and felt lost in thought as you looked at him.

The relationship you had with Joost was perfect the way it was, it wasn’t often you could find such a genuine male friend. You didn’t want to complicate what you had by getting lost in your delusions.

The fresh air from the walk helped clear your mind a lot. You decided that you were done acting like a skittish fool and you deserved more than to sleep on the couch because of some butterflies. Plus now was the best time to sort out your ‘thoughts’ about Joost, considering he had no idea you were feeling funny.

You walked home feeling clear like the blue sky, determined to fully make yourself at home in his home. Of course on the way home Abba had to pick up the biggest stick on the planet and insisted on bringing it home.

“That thing is not even gonna fit through the door!” you spoke as if he could hear or respond, and recorded the response when you reached the door and Abba realized what you tried to warn him about. The video showed abba with his comically large stick, stuck outside the house cause it couldn’t quite fit.

On the other side of the phone, Joost blew up at the desperate effort of his pet, laughing as your voice spoke from the speaker:

“i tried to tell you Abba, that shit is not gonna fit in here”

The next hours were spent caring for the dogs and routinely glancing at your phone to see Joost’s face looking back at you. Always either begging for more dog content or hysterically reacting to said content. His attention was never turned down from you though, You wondered if he had spent as much time talking to anyone else as he did you, even if it was just to check in with his pets. As you crossed your mental to do list off and the sun skated down the sky, you felt yourself grow more and more tired. When both you and the dogs had no more energy to spend, you dragged yourself up the steps the Joost’s room. You told yourself there was nothing to run from, you were free to have whatever unsettling response you wanted as long as you got over it before he came home.

Your heart thumped with every footstep, stalking closer to the closed door of Joost’s sanctuary. No big deal, you were in here this morning no problem! Your fingers curled around the door handle, swinging open the door before you could convince yourself against it.

The smell of him fully engulfed you, now that Abba wasn’t there to distract you, there was no escape from the way he consumed your senses. You pushed through, flicking on the lamp on the bedside table and filling the room in a comfortable dim blanket. You had already brushed your teeth in the second bathroom, not ready to spend more time in here than you needed too.

You stood over his made bed, deep blue sheets nicely folded over, untouched since you started staying here. Plugging in your phone to charge you pictured him doing the same as you, how the routine would carry him to sleep. You yanked open the sheets, as he must’ve many times, sliding into the sheets you wondered if he slept on the side you chose or next to you.

Your head lolled to the un used side of the bed, you pictured his profile resting next to you. So many times you had been so close to him but never used your memory to think of him like this. Sometimes when you really thought about the perfect hypothetical world where something was going on between you, it makes so much sense. Talking to him truly came so easy to you, your personalities meshed together so well other people seemed to struggle to understand the language you shared. Multiple times had you experienced a variety of people complementing his features, even the straightest men saying he was “suspiciously pretty” after a few drinks. You laughed when Joost had told you this , but it would be a lie if you said a few drinks didn’t make you wanna say the same thing.

A heavy sigh ripped through the air as you flipped yourself over, shoving your face into the soft pillow case that smelled like detergent. Another breath brought traces of his smell into your brain again and you tried your hardest to not think of how his sleeping figure would fit perfectly next to you, how you wished he would sleepily toss an arm over you and pull you closer. The pillow caught any groan you croaked into its side, you told yourself these thoughts were a side effect from your lackluster dating life. As soon as Joost was back you were gonna find a nice, charming date to finally take your mind off of the renowned friend you kept close.

You felt your eyes flutter closed as you thought of your perfect date to distract yourself. Someone tall and passionate, artistic and attractive but not conceited. Someone who would get your sense of humor and laugh at your jokes as hard as you laugh at theirs. This person sounded too perfect, a figment of your lonely imagination, but you used the image to fill the empty space beside you as you drifted off to peaceful sleep.

sae and rin always loved you as kids, but they also neglected you alot because you were the youngest itoshi. you’re 3 years younger than sae and 1 year younger than rin and also since you’re the only girl you weren’t really into football as much. they kind of ignored you a lot for football but they did love you. your parents paid more attention to your brothers than you because of their talents in football; also because rin was a bit badly behaved and destructive as a child, so he needed extra attention paid to him, but they didn’t ever teach the itoshi brothers about girls etc because they didn’t really have to. both brothers were only preoccupied with football, their parents were preoccupied with them and that just left the third forgotten daughter.

i think that they wanted three sons, so they gave up after they got a daughter as to not risk it, and as rin and sae grew up they really loathed that there wasn’t a third sibling who could also play soccer; so you were neglected.

probably rin and sae would have developed their weird love/attraction to you when they started going through puberty, because they didn’t really want to be around girls that much; you were the only girl either brother really ever interacted with. and they didn’t have much concept of social norms since they were so invested in soccer their whole lives; so by the time they actually learned it’s wrong they simply didn’t care anymore because their feelings were far too strong to deny. in spain as he got older, and the visits got fewer, sae would be sure to snap a few pics of you, or touch you a bit more than how a brother should his sister, and he would jerk off to it later on. his visits were sparse so he valued all of the time he spent with you, he doesn’t exactly remember when he started realising his feelings but he remembered one incident in specific when you were eating dinner at the table with your parents and rin too and he realised how much you really grew into yourself, you were beautiful. the same lashes as his but they make you look like a princess.

he didn’t fail to notice the way you and rin looked at each other too, the way rin was so… different? the way rin’s hand was on your thigh. the three of you aren’t even sure if your parents know, sae thinks they do know; thinks they don’t care as long as the youngest has a use which helps the two they actually care about excel in their sport.

rin’s attachment to you started after sae left to go to spain, as he grew up and you a little too, he realised you’re all he had left. he grew so attached to you and it turned into a deep attraction which you obviously shared. you loved both of your brothers and being a bit naive and more sheltered, you were less in tune with social norms. you really just went along with what rin wanted. rin never took any interest in other girls before (similarly to sae) and you were the only girl in his life who held any value to him. but nothing really happened yet, you just knew his feelings towards you and returned them graciously. but everything had changed when sae came back on that one particular occasion. it was the very first time he visited from spain, and rin saw the way sae eyed you up. they both felt the same way; rin harboured resentment towards sae so naturally he didn’t like it. he squeezed your thigh in a manner so crude, so unlike him. he wanted to show sae who really owned you.

and that’s how the weird rivalry started, that night, your brothers took your firsts. rin didn’t kiss you before, not properly anyway. sae was in spain by the time he realised his growing affections (and arousal) towards you, so he never got the chance. both of your brothers took all of your firsts. they were really in such a weird competition for you. it would be difficult though because when sae was in spain you tried to text him and call every day, and he indulged you when he could, but you would spend most of your time with rin. so rin and you were attached at the hip for the most part, but then sae would come back and you would cling to him because he would have been gone for so long.

but then rin left you too for blue lock, and they both stopped texting you as much, so then all you could do is watch your brothers play on the tv; the only boys you’ve ever loved; and you were alone at home with nothing. but they came back for you eventually, both did, and that’s how your love evened out a lot kinda. you love them both the same and they’re in their weird rivalry for you. it’s a really weird dynamic but that’s where you would be at right now.

it would honestly start because you guys just lacked supervision and actual attention from your parents. and because they prioritised your brothers over you and didn’t really deem you as their child, just an extension of rin and sae, that’s why if they are aware of anything going on between the three of you they don’t care. rin and sae can do what they want with you because they barely care at all, if it helps them in football and helps them relieve stress so be it. your parents know you’re a good girl (not in a weird way) anyway, and you wouldn’t distract rin and sae from their careers the way they can’t guarantee a girlfriend wouldn’t do either.

rin and sae are really both just perverts in disguise who love their sister far more than they could ever love any girl else. sae would literally steal ur panties whilst he was in spain just to jerk off into them, rin took 3 pairs with him to blue lock as well. they may have left you but the fruits of their hard work were so sweet in the end because now you are showered and pampered in affection every day by them, and their wealth means nothing to them, only if it can buy you a nice gift you like.

As soon as you got home, Alfred could tell something was off. Although it wasn't every day that you would run to greet him, he could count on at least a loud “Hey!” from across his home. But when he set his bags down from work, he heard no such thing.

Immediately, he tried to recall the morning you had spent together. Unluckily for him, it was nothing but a blur. You had... been there. He remembered that for sure, but if you had said something about being busy, he couldn't recall.

But that must be what had happened. Maybe he should set his alarms earlier, he concluded. But as for now, surely you would return home soon. There was nothing he could do about it, so he might as well enjoy his time alone.

So, like a child, his immediate instinct was to tear off his stiff work clothes, now wearing nothing but his boxers and a t-shirt (If anyone saw him through the window, well, that's nothing but a gift to them,) And like that, he pranced around the home doing his daily routine. Putting away his newly acquired paperwork, washing the dishes before dinner, and putting his suit away in the closet. Or well, that is what he was going to do, before he opened the bedroom door to you, fast asleep.

You were splayed out across the bed, your book still clasped tightly even as your chubby chest rose and fell. He sighed to himself, smiling softly and looking at you like one would look at a long-lost lover.

Well, clearly you had had a tiring day. It would be rude of him to wake you up now, he thought. He would rather do so later, after he's made a dinner both of you would adore.

Arthur didn't like quiet houses. It always made him nervous. Probably paranoia left over from back in the days when you would have to constantly fear for your life. But that justification didn't help. His fear remained, which is why he was so excited to have you move in with him. With you, there would always be a faint, friendly presence. But today, when he returned home from work, he couldn't help feeling unnerved.

Although you weren't spontaneous by any means, it wasn't out of the ordinary for you to suddenly disappear, off to do god knows what. It wasn't a habit Arthur particularly enjoyed, but he loved you despite it. And because you loved him too, you would at least usually leave a text message. But he had received none.

Just to be sure, he pulled out his phone and checked again. Nothing.

Well, he was dismayed, to say the least. But you wouldn't be gone long, he knew that for sure. Now all he had to do... was wait.

So he wandered into the living room, setting his briefcase down by the door before he jumped back. His breath hitched in his throat as he suddenly saw you, laying on the couch.

Clutching a hand to his chest to catch his breath, he approached quickly. But then he noticed the soft, almost unnoticeable smile on your face... the one you always wore while resting in his home. Slowly, he crouched down beside you, caressing your cheek while you slept. How adorable.

He was a lucky man, he thought to himself. He was very fortunate to be able to come home to this sight.

It was an exhausting day, to say the least. First, he was late to work, then he had to actually do his work, and then on the way home, traffic was the worst he's seen in months. So when he stumbled into his apartment, all he wanted was to see your wonderful face... and also maybe a cup of tea.

Which, when he looked around the flat, he was almost greeted by. Through the windowed doors to his balcony, he merely saw the end of your legs, propped up on an old metal chair.

“Mon ange?” He calls out to you, walking towards the balcony with a smirk.

When you didn't respond, he asked again louder, “Y/N?”

For a moment, he felt dread creeping up his spine, before he rounded the corner to see you. Fast asleep, with your book laid against your chest as you snored.

He couldn't help but chuckle to himself. It seems you had the same idea he had. As slowly as possible, as to not wake you from your peaceful slumber, he pulled up a chair from inside right next to you. As he sat down, he kept looking over to you, a loving smile upon his face even as his eyes began to weigh more and more.

“Y/N, my love!” Ivan calls out as soon as he enters your shared home.

“Крошка? Where are you?“ He continues, as he begins wandering through the house in search of you. But as he entered more rooms, only to hear no response, his blood began to grow colder.

You had said you would be home when he got home, yet you were nowhere to be found yet. You rarely didn't respond to his calls either, so needless to say, your out-of-character behaviour was beginning to frighten him.

Had you lied? He searched the living room. Had there been an emergency? He searched the kitchen. Had you been taken? He searched the office. Had something horrible happened? He searched the bedroom- Oh.

As he burst into the bedroom, the door being moments from slamming into the wall, all his worries were eased. He grabbed the door to silence it before stepping forward and sitting on the edge of the bed. Before him, you were curled up tightly around your book, your breathing soft and rhythmic.

“Как драгоценный…” he whispered to himself before crawling next to you. As he looked upon your sleeping face, he felt his heart doing somersaults. Well, if you weren't conscious to protest, there was no reason he couldn't watch your lovely face until you awoke.

Feliciano was not a working man. He had realized that within his first 30 years of life, and the last 3,000 had only cemented it. All he wanted to do when he dragged himself home to you was curl up in your lap and cry his stresses away. So when you told him you would meet him at home after work, he was quick to rush home (breaking countless traffic laws in his wake,) to meet you.

But when he reached home, only to not immediately see or hear you, he couldn't help flopping flat onto the floor. Dust and dirt be damned. He was goddamn tired, and there he would lay until you came home to see him. Or well, that's what he thought, until before he heard your soft snores coming from the living room. Lucky, considering he was about to start snoring himself and drown you out.

Reluctantly, he peeled himself off the floor and stumbled over to the living room. There, you were out cold on his old couch, still holding the book you had been telling him all about just the day before.

Adorable, was his first thought. Seeing you all peaceful, your chubby body relaxed on his couch. You really trusted him and his home that much? Amazing.

But then he started feeling jealous. He wanted to take a nap too! How long had you been here, relaxing while he had been working? Well, working was a pretty big stretch, but still! You were so lucky. But it's his couch, and you're his partner, so he was going to cuddle up against you and nap too, regardless of whether he woke you up in the process or not.

When he had given you a key to his residence, Ludwig had really not expected you to use it as much as you had. But it seemed that every other day, he would return from whatever he had been doing to find you in his home, doing whatever. You had said something about even mundane things being more fun when you were with him. A sentiment he could understand at least a little, considering he wasn't one to complain about your presence. It comforted him just as much as it did you, even if he was afraid to admit it.

So when he returned home from the grocery store to find your shoes laid next to his, he wasn't surprised in the slightest. He just simply sighed and continued his day, quickly putting away his groceries.

“Y/N, how long have you been here?” He asks casually from the kitchen after he sees your figure laying on his couch. No response, but maybe you had your earbuds in. It's no matter.

But when he finishes his task and walks over, he instantly realizes you were asleep. It was the first time this had happened... and he really didn't know what to do.

He sat on the coffee table across from you, staring at you intensely as he was deep in thought. Would it be rude to wake you? Would it be weird to let you keep sleeping in his apartment? God, he really wishes he could call Feliciano right now... but no! He knows you better, and he'll figure this out by himself. Even... even if it takes him a few minutes of pacing to decide.

But after he's finished sweating, he lets you keep sleeping. You must've needed it, and he'd be remiss to take that away from you. Plus, you look cute when you sleep, but he'd never even admit that to himself.

Although Kiku was one of the most anxious people on planet Earth, he never worried when it came to you. That's part of why he liked you so much. It was never stressful, around you, everything came easily to him. So when you hadn't responded to his text telling you he was on his way home, he assumed the best. You were busy, and it meant nothing more than that.

When he arrived at your shared home, he didn't panic when he didn't hear you. He simply decided to go about his normal routine, not searching for you. You would let him know where you were soon, he knew it. But even if it didn't, it was alright.

But when he was bringing his laundry into his bedroom, he was a little shocked to find you laying on your shared bed, still holding your book tightly. Although his heart stopped for a moment, he quickly calmed down. He silently set the basket he was holding down, walking over to you and leaning over the bed. With a gentle touch on the shoulder, he woke you up.

“Silly, you fell asleep...” He teases softly as you start to open your eyes, “Wake up, let's go make dinner together.”

I can't believe I found ur acc after about 3 whole years of searching that was long.. I read ur blog in like 2020/2021 I think and ever since, I've never come across someone with such a unique take on jaedo. I secretly enjoy ur blog ngl. I need to read the whole thing ^^

I liked how you mentioned that jaedo are already in a relationship and that was very different from my thoughts on them cuz to me jaehyun was still pinning on doyoung and it has always been a one sided or maybe even unrequited love..

But observing jaedo over the years till now, the theories are always endless. Like how I'm now sure doyoung knows very well jaehyun has feelings for him but he doesn't know how to reciprocate the feelings.

One day it's like dy can go well with jaehyun's little flirting remarks and banter then the next he's completely ignoring his entire presence??

To understand where dy stands will always be complicated but with jaehyun, how come he's so patient and so understanding to wait for all these years? Unless they're already dating, but that's a stretch. To me at least I can't see it like that.

If jaedo are currently going out, then I'd say it's very cruel to jaehyun cuz of what normally happens. It's been years, and doyoung only gives his attention to jh sometimes (oncam) while for jaehyun he'll break his neck for dy even at the slightest mention of his name.

One thing that helped me from ur blog was how u mentioned the thing about jaehyun's mother and how strict she was and the way he would want her to praise him by doing stuff like washing the dishes and stuff. It really put everything into perspective.

Jaehyun is braver than doyoung, that's for sure, but he's not brave enough to confess to dy. His teasing and small compliments are a way to get doyoungs attention to focus on him he hasn't done anything more. Same with how he washed the dishes, he'll do everything to make dy notice him but a confession hasn't happened yet I fear. (Even tho dy probably knows by know, and the entirety of ilichil)

I always ask myself this question who has the upper hand in jaedo (that's a bit toxic :*) but to me it's like who has a say in the relationship and how to move forward with it. My answer has always been dy but it recently changed.

The same way jh was the first one to catch feels (obvi) he'll be the same person to organise his thoughts and feelings if things don't work out with dy. I Wish him all the luck btw :( (dy is my ult jh is just a bias)

But if jaehyun suddenly pulls away from dy completely how will dy react? I feel like doyoung is not honest with his feelings, he might not like or even like jh but it's like he doesn't want to address it at all. (My opinion is purely based on observing them over the years)

Well, as much as it is interesting to read another person's point of view, to know how the same events are interpreted by a different mind, I can't agree to entertain your version. There are no endless possibilities. And it's not me being stubborn or narrow-minded or wishful-thinking, I simply considered all scenarios and scratched off those that are not supported by the facts from reality.

You say you observe JaeDo over the years, but it seems from your words you are too moved by the daily fluctuations. You look at the waves and not the sea bottom underneath. And you are talking about two grown up gay men like they are teenagers in Victorian era.

They are all fake on camera. Jaehyun, Doyoung, Haechan, Yuta with his Mark. It is not their life, it is their job. They have personas, images. Doyoung directly says his boyfriend pics for Insta is image, that they live the life of pretence, that he switches from Doyoung to Dongyoung. And yet, many still put too much importance on what happens before cameras. I mean, it definitely helps to draw the picture, but it's not their personal life.

Do a thought experiment. Ask yourself why would Jaehyun be still in love with Doyoung after all these years if all he ever knows is Doyoung being cruel to him? Is Jaehyun a masochist? Doyoung ignores him and Jaehyun instead of suffering sends him a megaton watt smile back his direction? When Doyoung really ignores Jaehyun, Jaehyun makes Doyoung's life hard (how it was in 2017). Jaehyun is not a patient guy, nor is he capable of yelding to others on things that matter to him.

JaeDo live in a homophobic society, but not in one where coming out means being thrown off the roof of a building. Dating a collegue or confessing, being rejected, and moving on is a much more usual and healthy way to pestering feelings over 10 years. They work 24/7 together, they can't afford endless pining or endless denial of feelings unless they are both internally homophobic (which they are not).

The common sense aside. JaeDo still pining after each other is simply not supported by what is observed in reality. For starters, there won't be any reason to pretend to dislike each other on public instead of being second TaeDo. As well as being censored by the company. They have to lie to the public because they are honest with themselves.

P.S. You watch too little content. Jaehyun said he is the type to confess right away. While Doyoung said he thinks if you love someone you should let the person know.

AHHHH THANK U!!!!!! my fav flower is smth I think about a lot. my current fav, tho, is probably amaryllis (pronounced like am-uh-RILL-is btw). I WISH I had one, but the temps where I live are so high, it wouldn’t do great cuz they like average temps (in growth) and low 40s (in dormancy). for lighting it needs darkness (in dormancy) and medium light in growth. it’s a BEAUUUUUTIFUL winter or spring bloomer….n it almost looks like a lily. blooms in clusters and it has different colors + species.

they often symbolize stuff involving strength, ie pride/determination, which is something I LOVE in plant symbolism. OH YEAH AND “AMARYLLIS” IS A GREEK NAME AND IT MEANS “TO SPARKLE”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like butterfly palms (always wanted one but never got one), chinese evergreen (I have one Yas), avocado trees (i messed mine up when I tried growing my own), prayer plants (I have one…I always do tho), and rubber plants (I also have one). I used to always wish I had a butterfly palm and I never ended up getting one. here’s what they look like

i know they usually have rather positive connotations stemming from Ancient Rome and Greece? but I’m not too sure on symbolism outside of flowers.

one of the prettiest houseplants that is very easy to take care of is pothos. they usually live from 5-10 years. they’re pretty resilient! they love bright indirect light. And get this: they can literally rapidly adapt to their environment, their cell functions can change just from their conditions and everything. they are simple to manage— every time you water them, you should let the soil dry out first (so every 1-2 weeks or so). you don’t need to mist it either. they’re also beautiful, so I would rly recommend this if you are chronically ill, disabled, elderly, very depressed, have executive dysfunction, etc etc.

another resilient and pretty plant is a peace lily. they come in a couple different colors. I know someone who’s had the same HUGE peace lily pot for like 15 years. I’d recommend this if you’ve just started liking plants and are currently obsessed with them, because it loves humidity and to ALWAYS have moist soil. if it’s not wet, the tips of the leaves tend to turn brown which is bad. to help with humidity, I recommend sphagnum moss on the soil. they love misting.

if you want a plant that you can walk past and mist if you wanna, but can’t bring urself to water it directly v often? I recommend something like a spider plant. They’re pretty interesting and you’ve probably seen one before. they like to be misted very often, but they only need to be directly watered after the soils dried. it’s like pothos care but for executive dysfunction.

my fav plant as far as symbolism goes? probably daffodils and hyacinth, mainly for its themes of forgiveness. if you didn’t know, that’s why I usually draw daffodils w/ basil when I get the chance. also: something something white egret orchid something something.

yoo, how are you girlie? im currently trying to build a church from 'uts' in the sims. what does it look like to you? maybe the vibe, type of architecture, that sort of thing. i may have a generally different idea from the mv and the story, but i wanted to ask if you might have a specific image of the church. maybe some reference photos? they could be helpful, but no pressure tho. love you <3

hiii im ok!! a lil tired bc i did a walk on the treadmill this morning but ive had breakfast so thats nice hehe (actual answer under the readmore btw)

first of all ur doing what omg???? thats so cool omg!!! anyway realistically i wish i could tell u exacts because the structure from the mv is absolutely different from how i was imagining it (since the underground part is like... separate from the church in the mv i think???). i know i imagined the church itself to be a large room with rows of chairs and a raised platform for a stage (at least big enough for three people to comfortably dance on since bss has their lil number in hoshi's part), with the back half separated off by curtains. there's a ladder leading up to the attic which mainly contains stuff like board games, cards, books, etc. but it also has a sun-shaped window (which... i dont think is possible in the sims but i also am not a builder so i wouldnt know) with a bed in front of it (which i like to imagine has some sort of curtains close to it so that they could get a lil privacy while napping, y'know?). the underground part leads to the main area that they all reside in which is the stone area from the mv, but thats way more up in the air to me and something i admittedly just kinda went 'if i need a room, i'm sure it's there lmao'.

i think in general, i think it'd be a Lot of natural decor? both dried and fresh flowers, wooden objects that could have been made by them, etc. but the group basically is a group of scavengers when it comes to the city and what they bring back. i think they'd usually stick to things that are lighter when it comes to bringing stuff back, but i'm like 90% sure they could work things out to bring back heavier furniture (like a couch) if they really wanted it. it'd def be a group effort tho and prolong their trips back haha but def like... a vibrant, colorful space too!!! a lot of uts is about finding ways to love and celebrate life and the things within it and i think part of that is learning to find happiness--hence why they paint the walls with things they want to paint, why they celebrate one another as often as they can.

iii am not an architect so i cannot tell u the kind of architecture but i can throw pictures ur way since i have a small pinterest board w pics saved

description for shikimori/izumi/ai kamiya: Shikimori and Izumi are already an established couple at the start—Izumi is known for his infamous bad luck that often gets him in trouble, or gets him hurt. Shikimori loves him nd wants to protect him from his bad luck. Izumi is the more feminine one of the two, he's very gentle, sometimes a bit awkward and shy, but he's known for his kindness to others. Shikimori is still pretty girly herself, but she's seen as masculine with the way she swoops in to protect or support Izumi like a knight. Kamiya is seen in the school as one if those role model, reliable types. She gets to bond with Izumi, the first person who treats her normally, and she even gets vulnerable with him. Meanwhile, Izumi thinks she's also a very kind person, and loves whenever he gets to talk to her. Eventually, Kamiya crosses paths with Shikimori when their school has this fun little gimmick event with numbers and how the same people with same numbers are soulmates or something. Kamiya gets the same number as Izumi, but Shikimori shows up asking for it. At first Shikimori thought she was ok with it, but realized and caught onto Kamiya's true feelings. When Kamiya wouldn't take back the number because she says she feels guilty for feeling this way about Izumi and getting in the way of them, Shikimori tears the number apart and hugs Kamiya, saying that she shouldn't force herself to get rid of the feelings and she should cherish it. She also said that someone who likes the same person as her can't be a bad person, and she just confirmed how kind she really is. In the next episode their common friend Nekozaki gets them to hang out in the mall after school. When Nekozaki goes to the bathroom, Shikimori tries to shiw Kamiya how to play one of the arcade games, but she says it's too hard for her. Shikimori ends up playing and winning some snacks and gives it to Kamiya, saying she won them for her. Kamiya gets all blushy but then says she should get even, because her personality doesn't fit the passive type. Cut to them later and it's revealed they both won a LOT of plushies for each other, getting carried away. It's cute because this parallels Shikimori's competetiveness when it comes to impressing Izumi, and in an earlier episode she also got carried away and won too many plushies for him. But in this one, Kamiya can match her own competitiveness and also tried to keep up with impressing her. And they just blush around each other sometimes and there was a shot that emohasized their physical closeness at one point. Shikimori even admires how pretty Kamiya looks while blushing to herself. A noteworthy parallel is Izumi also seeing Kamiya for who she really is, much like how he did with Shikimori.
