Can you make any sort of statement on what's going on with saintsrowmods.com? Would like to hear your side of the story, I don't think it's fair you got banned and what-not but I understand 'tHE zONE's reasoning. Just wanted to try and give you the benefit of the doubt because I know in scenarios like this people like to point fingers.

I don't really like talking about drama hear cause its a constant in SR community and so exhausting at this but, and there isn't really much of a statement to be made tbh. I'll put something short under read more so peopl can avoid it.

What happened is that someone got into flippy's account and changed his password to make comments and he thinks saintsrowmods admins abused their power to reset passwords to make him look bad. I simply asked if he's sure someone else didn't get into it, considering he mentioned the account hasn't been used since 2013 and got banned for that question and made into a suspect. Apparently it was gaslighting.

I can't really say more except I didn't do it cause I have no reason to do something like that? If I wanted to berate Minimaul I would've done it from my SRM account, and I don't get why I'd want to make flippy look bad cause I considered him my friend? Especially not with some over the top rant, like what would be the point? I just doubted that SRM admins did it (especially since he said he doesn't think its minimaul) because it doesn't sound like something others would do. The message was originally hidden by a spam bot too, the only reason people know about this is because Admixon sent it to mrsaintsgodzilla in the first place.

Something I find fun to overanalyze are the most unimportant shit to the lore in general, I like to think about the specifics of even one singular character, even if it doesn't change much about the lore of Hatchetfield as in general. 7. What is your deepest joy about writing?

Being in the zone, when the muse hits and inspo's overflowing and I just want to run around the room and gnaw on the walls because I WANT EVERYONE TO SEE THIS COOL THING I'VE JUST THOUGHT UP Alternatively, being able to put all the half-coherent daydreams onto paper or into a doc and see them slowly progress from "hey this is a cool idea" to "oh wow this has the potential to be SO MUCH MORE".

I'd probably wish for steady and limitless reserves of motivation/inspiration to write, non-descript (so it can vary from fic to OC but it's always there). Then, um. I think it'd be reasonable to wish for some good dialogue skills, but there's a certain charm in getting there on my own and seeing the progress, so idk dsgfds The final wish, genie, please go talk to Word and tell it that "puppeteered" and "puppeted" are, indeed, real English words. I can't anymore.

14. Do you lend your books to people? Are people scared to borrow books from you? Do you know exactly where all your “lost” books are and which specific friend from school you haven’t seen in twelve years still possesses them? Will you ever get them back?

I rarely do, and that means "I have exactly one friend whom I trust enough to borrow my physical copies." In general, I only have collectors' edition physical books and those are Not Just For Anyone To Borrow. I think that said friend has one of my art books. Not entirely sure, though, may need to check.

22. How organized are you with your writing? Describe to me your organization method, if it exists. What tools do you use? Notebooks? Binders? Apps? The Cloud?

No. Or yes. I tend to go from extreme to extreme, so either I organise stuff in a separate Discord server with 10+ channels or I keep it all in my head and only leave myself scattered cryptic notes in a chat with myself. No in between.

I prefer digital storing, because I can just pull my phone out at any given moment and add whatever idea comes to mind that I want to save.

Saw that you asked for a timeline a couple weeks ago ab her ex! I was around since the start of Tina officially streaming (among us era being 3 yrs ago wtf…) but I remember the timeline of Tina and her ex relationship, when she met everyone, kina timeline, etc.

December 2020:

- Tina and Karl first meet in one of the otv among us lobbies, they were very silly funny and got along quickly

- That same day they followed each other on socials, and subbed to each other on twitch; karl tweeted to her that they should play more games (bonded over shared interests)

- They played and interacted in the big OTV rust server

January 2021:

- Karl gift 50 subs to Tina, and she also mods him

- Karl who was in Tina’s chat and she asks him to join the lobby she was in

- Tina tweeted that she was cold and Karl suggested she buy a scarf that he also owns so they can match (she did buy it)

- Karl joins tina art streams

Feb 2021:

- Corpse Karl and Tina made a discord vc where they hang out, talk and play games offline (they named it ‘not live’)

best experience : i think one of the best times i had on here was during christmas 2015 in the rpg hell state bc it was very active and i had a lot of good storylines going! the best time i had on rp.me was the group verse i had for a knockoff of terra nova called alia terra, which i actually made into an rpg on here and then made a closed verse between lucia and i so we could continue some dino fun! but i did it on rp.me shortly before i made the switch to tumblr so i kinda roll that all into one. i mean don't get me wrong i've had some great experiences on here, and lately have been having an amazing time with my writing partners, new and old, but those two are events that stick out in my mind. and also meeting lucia in 2015 duhhh of course!!!!!!!

rp pet peeves : honestly i don't want to say bc i don't want to hurt anyone's feelings or discourage people from writing with me lmfao, but i'll just say it has to do with dropping articles and using two certain french words 😬😬😬

fluff, angst, or smut : if i could crush up angst and snort it i would. i don't write smut (just a personal choice, not a judgment!) and fluff doesn't really interest me unless there's an undercurrent of angst or toxicity lmaooo, but i'm mostly interested in genre fiction like horror/slasher or sci-fi anyway and angst is kind of a package deal with those topics

plots or memes : i like to start with a general idea and then just kinda improvise. i also don't mind having structed plot points like going from a > b > c but having the freedom to do what we want in between those points. i also have absolutely no issue with changing or adding things as we go along! i'm basically very hype for anything

long or short replies : i'm a wordy bitch! when it comes to replies, i tend to stick with 2-4 for my 'shorter' threads but i have no issue getting up to 5-9 paragraphs if i'm really feeling something. no worries about matching length, btw, as long as it's not egregious like getting a few sentences in response when i wrote you four paragraphs, because i feel that's just rude. i also tend to start out small and get bigger as we go on, since i do like to begin with a general idea and add on from there

time to write : so before i started my current job, i only wrote at night because writing when the sun was up seemed morally wrong lmfao. nowadays, i sometimes write my replies at work on my google drive and then edit/format them once i get home, but that's only when i work alone and it's not super busy, and i actually have writing muse for that day. after work, i'll get on after midnight since i don't get home until late and need to put on my jammies, take off my makeup, eat dinner, and watch some tv. even on my days off, i most likely won't get on until late in the night because my family actually has the audacity to want to see me during the daylight hours 🙄

are you like your muses : i have a lot of muses that share similarities with myself, but i also have muses i have absolutely nothing in common with, like blair the satanic serial killer or lauren the son of a cult leader turned political campaign manager. more than likely they'll have something random from me like also being allergic to penicillin or they drive a buick like i do lmao, but i don't have a muse i would really consider my 'self-insert' character!

I was sent something which was, quiet honestly, a pretty bad faith reading of what I meant when I said "Intersexism within Trans- spaces" and here and I wanted to just slap this note on that I used that language to refer to how, in multiple Trans- focused private communities ( "Trans spaces" meaning mainly Discords and forums if i'm being honest. Though some irl spaces as well but those have been much nicer recently. )

I've had to tell multiple other Trans people that it's just not appropriate to call me a Hermaphrodite or a "Herm" off the bat. Or that it's not appropriate to ask me for pictures of my body or genitalia. Or that it is painful for me when I discuss my medical abuse or trauma to have another Trans person go "but i would just KILL to have your experiences / body though!"

These were Trans spaces ( marketed and labeled as "Trans spaces / Safe Trans Spaces " ) I entered because I am Trans and because I want to talk to other Trans people about being Trans. I want medical advice as well. I cannot discuss my Trans experiences without also discussing my Intersex experiences because I am both and they medically brush up against each other pretty frequently.

I have constantly come up against blatant Intersexism and the fetishization of my body, and while I am so lucky and fortunate to have ( both perisex and intersex ) Trans friends who have stood up for me or helped me work through these feelings, I still feel a sense of alienation and hurt.

That is what I mean by "Trans spaces" and that is what I mean by "intersexism". End of. I have no idea HOW externalizing that experience into a term which I and maybe 5 other people use ( somewhat inconsistently TBH ) has ANYTHING to do with transmedicalists or anyone being white or not ??

( I put "Trans-" with the hyphen because I have experienced this in both Transgender and Transsexual labeled spaces BTW. Maybe the asterisk ( Trans* ) would have been more clear for that but IDK. I've seen both around. These are things that have happened to me regardless of specific labels being used at the time !! )

Anyways please stop sending this post to me. I am tired and it is completely incoherent to the experiences behind this because none of this intersexism came from other intersex people and none of it has to do with anyone being white or not ( ??????? )

But if you couldn't tell from the tone this isn't even about that post fully. This is about intersex people needing to drag out a whole essays about our trauma with multiple explanations of what we exactly mean and who we are exactly talking about so we can go "this was actually traumatic for me, this is a real issue, and no, I don't think intersex people are the source of intersexism, actually".

It's a microlabel at the end of the day. Maybe we would be less of a "little society" on edge if random intersex bloggers didn't have to be playing the defense 24/7 for our trauma. Caedipso: An intersex individual who at one point, was Cisgender, but due to trauma ( from their own Intersex experiences, Intersexism from Perisex Cisgender individuals, etc. ) is now Ipsogender. May also be spelled Caedoipso.

Any other Intersex people may use these if you feel like you connect with them! Similar to other Caed- / Caedo- terms, you do not need to be specific or open about your trauma at all.

These are terms that are roughly based on the other existing Caed- / Caedo- terms but with slightly modified language. They are based off of my personal experiences ( Caedulter) and one of my friend's ( Caedipso ) so please be respectful.

‘My Next Life as A Villainess’ Anime is over...

SO WHAT NOW???

A lot of us are disappointed that Katarina’s adventures are finally over, and a lot of us are gonna miss watching the wacky hi-jinks of our dense villainess. I’ve seen a lot of people say that they will stop posting or paying attention to hamefura after the anime ends, and while I might be the same to some extent, I just want to say that there are still a lot of hamefura things to look forward to after the anime ends!

These are actually some very obvious things to look forward to, but you know I’d still like to share them so you can use them to fill the hole in your heart that the anime left behind.

The Manga

Hamefura still has an on-going manga that is currently in Chapter 3 of the Light Novels! A lot of you already read it, and understand that it can get frustrating when there’s a lack of updates on the english side of things, but if you’re really curious, you can go over and check out the JP releases every month so you can have an idea of whats to come for the manga :DD (The fan translation of ENG Chapter 26 came out a few days ago so you know it’s not dead!!)

I’d recommend reading the english translation on Mangadex, since most translation groups officially upload their translation on there. 

The Spin-off (Hametsuo/Bakarina Alter)

It deserves it’s own category for just how unique it is in terms of its reception in the western crowd. I know a lot of people probably read it, but I guess people barely talk about because it’s not really that far into it’s premise yet. 

I just can’t stop recommending this manga to people (despite not going where I thought it’d be) because of how good the art-style is and how much promise it has. It updates monthly, which I know is a long wait, but it does pay off when you see the quality of everything. Plus it’s just fun to imagine how hamefura would go if it followed the typical “villainess otome isekai” format.

The Light Novels

I’m happy to read that a lot of people are gonna go switch and buy the light novels after the anime ends! By the time the anime ends, the Vol. 6 of the LN would release a week later, acting kind of like a replacement of what is supposed to be a new episode for that week.

The fan-translated version of the web novel is available online, up until half of Vol. 4, but I still recommend buying the books on bookwalker (i don’t know if the sale is still there, but I’d recommend picking up the book regardless!). If reading the fan translation piqued your interest, then playing for the books would definitely worth your money if you ask me! 

An increase of sales might show them that there’s interest for this light novel, and might make them translate the JP novels even faster! (or maybe i’m just too impatient to wait 2-3 months for Volume 7 dshfjsfgs who knows?)

My only warning is that the tone really does shift post-arc 1 (Fortune Lover I) so if you’re looking for harem hijinks, from spoilers I’ve seen I think there would less of that and more of world building. (ps. please stop asking me where to read it ;;-;;)

Edit: Volume 8 is coming out in a few months, with Volume 9 probably being released at either Jan or Feb next year, then after that it’ll be a yearly update

StoryMe Otome Game

I’m surprised a lot of people doesn’t know about the StoryMe game, despite it updating every week alongside the anime. Just kidding I didn’t either lol, I actually found about this thanks to the hamefura reddit discord server! StoryMe is a choose-your-own-adventure otome game, kind of like those “Episodes” or “Chapters” game that gets recommended on Youtube a lot. 

It’s still in japanese, which is probably why not a lot of people knows of it yet, but it seems like you can play as Katarina and romance anyone from the entire harem (yes, the girls too), so keep you eyes peeled for if ever it gets an english translation!

It’s basically the bluray Fortune Lover game with the DVDs, but instead of Maria, you actually get to play as Katarina!

(I’ll make a separate post for this later, maybe)

Edit: The game just came out in English in September 16, and just spat out a 11-episode update at September 30

Katarina’s Farm

It’s a newly announced mobile game with a web trial version that centers around playing as Katarina, trying to earn money and points for expanding your farm land, planting more expensive plants and getting the other members of the harem to join you! It’s a 2D pixel game that seems like it wouldnt take too much time to play (you can get the first 4 characters within 30 minutes of gameplay, but that might be adjusted in the mobile version) so I understand if it might not interest some people, but that’s still something to look forward to!

The Bluray Otome Game

While I can’t say this for certain, but maybe if there was ever an official english bluray release, it might include the Fortune Lover Male Capture Target Routes that are included in the game. Maybe someone will play it and translate it even! It would interesting to see how different the boys are, and give us further appreciation for Katarina’s influence and changes!

There’s a preview for a CG in Keith’s Route, which comes with the second bluray (no pv for Geordo ;; w ;;)

Missing the hilarious and heartwarming antics of Katarina and her harem? Then you should check out the Manga Anthology (that has just been been translated in its entirety). It’s 14 chapters of absolute hilarity!

There’s also a Yuri Anthology, featuring the 4 girls of the harem! If you’re looking for more of that then, it’s an absolute recommendation!

The Second Season of the Anime

I seriously wasn’t expecting another season, considering how different the next arc is, but I’m happy nonetheless for more Bakarina! I hope this motivates the fans to continue supporting the series, as a bigger reaction will definitely lead to more content for us to enjoy! I have a theory about S2, which I think is worth the read :3c

Other Otome Isekais

There’s a lot of other Villainess Otome Isekai’s that are worth the read, and a lot of them as just as interesting as hamefura, despite the lack of a harem (from deep rooted revenge to hilarious and crazy villainess, there’s a lot!) The quickest recommendation I can give is just looking up “Akuyaku” and “Villainess” on Mangadex (do both btw they dont have the same results), but theres a lot that doesn’t get recommended so do your research! I swear it’s worth your time!

Anyways, I hope any of these fill the hole that the hamefura anime will leave in our hearts as we wait for season 2! (sorry for repeating the same line again hdsfgdjhsfg) Feel free to add anything like fanfic recommendations and artists, as I can’t cover everything on my own, as those really help provide hamefura fans with content :DD

GF and LD butt heads all the time about everything. If Poultryman decides he’s gonna go at it to GF then LD would help. If I remember correctly, I think they phrase someone used in the discord was like “An enemy of my enemy is a friend of mine” kinda thing :D

Can’t remember much else, I’ll add more later in a reblog but let’s get to the Wels and Hels side of this story

Wels and Hels are twin brothers, like I said. I decided to go with the second option listed of the three possible beginning of their lives that started the conflict (those on the discord who are reading this)

Essentially, their mom thought Hels was cursed or something because of the red eyes (and probably thought he was gonna grow up evil) so she separated the two at birthday best she could and put him up for adoption. The two later on in life had no clue who each other were and Wels just assumed Hels was his own doppelgänger like most people had.

Which ain’t the case obvs but I mean it’s not his fault

Hels at some point hears that he has a brother and a family and they kicked him out because of those stupid red eyes and gets angry and clearly doesn’t know how to calmly handle his emotions SO he turns to villainy.

I’ll talk more about that in a separate ask if anyone wants to ask me more about it :)

I pretty much know nothing about the fandom, including theories. And Discord fandom servers sound like hellscape to me...

So here, for our little cozy ignorance circle, a shitload of text:

Warning: I gonna talk about shit I dig from code, hope it won't break your immersion too much.

First of, I hyper concentrate way too easily, so I try not to craft theories - they drive me mad. But I like to line up little factoids and hints while waiting for that one puzzle piece to appear to realize what the picture is. And I have a strong feeling that that puzzle piece was not introduced in the books yet (will have to go through the whole of the code to know for sure). So theories are just imagination games for now imo.

Second, there are namedrops of things/people here and there (Special Directive's "Core", HG's "old man" and such) but you physically can not know what they are about from the books, yet, I don't think. You can only make guesses.

The last is especially true when it comes to Gene Tech corp - you have no idea, even approximately, what they are capable of lore-vise. And that's what it's all about isn't it? What they've done and what they are doing.

For example, you know that they are capable of re-programming Re-Genes, scraping their minds and uploading new ones. Would they be able to upload an AI into a human? Could they digitalize an existing mind? Could they upload a natural mind into a re-gene? Could they add two minds into one body? Could they program a re-gene's mind to do something at a particular point? And so on and so forth. You literally know none of that, so the potential explanations to things like Heartbreak incident or MC "splitting" would count in... hundreds?

What you know for sure is they run all kinds of experiments. Especially with telepaths.

It's obvious now that they are actively looking for telepaths, who "can be useful" - for some kind of project, obvs.

But there are things from Rebirth that are still unclear to me.

For example, when dreaming about encountering HB if you choose to look at them, there is this text:

But why here? Why come here? The answer comes to you as the walls pale into white, the greenish silhouettes solidifying. Because this is home. Everyone wants to go home to die.

Wha's that about? After Rebirth's epilogue I cannot exclude the possibility, that SD straight up kidnaps children for experiments or something along the lines.

Btw, anyone in this fandom ever noticed that when going through scanners for mods and boosts MC reads "as normal human"? Like, huh? Aren't Re-Genes supposed to be human cloned bodies that were boosted with drugs? Wouldn't a scanner for boosts notice hero drug in a person's body, or how does that work?

Concerning HB's and MC's connection: I don't think there is a meaning for same sex as the puppet. But I'm 99% sure, that the subject they tried to run the same experiment on the previous time, was MC. The one who "was a sleepwalker as a child". CHILD.

(Why I think so: the game is coded so that if you have a trans character, the scientist refer to the previous subject with an opposite pronoun from who you transitioned to. If MC is a trans woman - they say "he" and vice versa. And MC could only transition after escaping for the first time... I don't see a reason to code it that way otherwise).

So I also can not exclude that HG's sibling didn't conveniently die in custody, but was snatched by Gene Tech - for things and stuff. And that in some way MC is, indeed, connected to them.

Considering the puppet splitting.

I used to think that - in these scenes in Rebirth where you talk about your "boss" to Mortum through a high-individuality puppet -unexpected emotions showing was puppet's subconscious fear of MC. I don't think so anymore.

"Puppet individuality" is and interesting stat. After closer inspection of what ups it, I think it's affected by how comfortable MC feels in the body - effectively MC creates a separate individuality FOR THEMSELVES in that body, not for Ace.

Ace's mind was completely burnt out. If their brain started to create a new personality, it would be paced like, say, an individuality forming in a child? They'd be mumbling after the few years of brain work narrowed to only dreams after MC leaves the body - nothing more.

What I thought (after the epilogue where MC runs from their own awoken body) is that fear MC shows in puppet body is a subconscious fear of MC's, feeling that something is there, in their body, but they can only feel it clearly when away from it. Kinda can't see the forest for the trees, if that makes sense.

I still can't get over Argent (of all people) admitting to Ortega she's unsettled by MC and thinks them "creepy", when there was nothing hinting at that beforehand. Mb, she can low-key feel that something lurking behind MC's eyes?

Kinda like in that mirror in the car-crush hallucination?

"The mirror is black and empty, or so it would have you think. You know that's not true. Not at all. Something is moving in the depths, sometimes you can almost see what. But then you look away. Not today. Certainly not right now.

Choosing this option changes one veeery interesting hidden counter, btw. And if that counter is high enough, in the middle of the hallucination you'll get very interesting little text. Which pretty much confirms that yes, there is something - a "he", actually. Someone MC manages to keep at bay. And he is probably the one talked about in the scene you mentioned:

"Are you sure?" Can't see who. Don't know that voice. Know the other voice. Too well.

 "He can handle the strain. Just look at him, still alive despite everything."

A touch to your head. Fingertips on skin. They must have shaved you while you were under.

"That's not what I meant. A Re-Gene?"

"Beggars can't be choosers. It's not like he's in a position to complain."

"Dr. Siepen…"

"What? You know as well as I do that he's losing his grip. If it wasn't for the director, he'd be out already."

"Should I start prepping the body for insertion then?"

"Yes. But don't start anything until I say so. I want to have another look on the deep scan first. There's been so many changes since last time, I can't help but wonder…"

"Are you sure you don't want to run more tests?"

"We've got everything we need already. Don't want to risk things deteriorating further. It's probably my mind playing tricks on me."

"Hah. Very funny Dr. Siepen."

"Don't patronize me. And stop smiling."

"I…I can't. I…"

Sound's like someone important's mind? Someone who would see using a Re-Gene's body beneath him?

Someone who'd demand obedience from MC, if he met them.

No matter in what body you end up, the other body will want you alive, safe, but close and obedient. Kinda like you are their very useful servant or something...

And yes, they are clever, agile, happy to have whatever body they end up in and they have work to do.

Does it have to do something with Heartbreak? Still possible, but instead of Him and HB being the same, I think they might be functioning on similar principles or something. Scientist referred to whatever participated in HB experiment as "it" tho, this one is known to be "he".

There’s probably waaaaaaaay more to consider there, but again, need to go through the whole code and look at hidden stats and variables to find out more. And I personally don't see myself doing that in next few weeks...

Beware of spoilers but here’s my take on Retribution ending :

I know there is a lot of speculation about who takes the other body at the end of Retribution and after MANY runs here’s what I gather :



I don't think the one taking the body is the Puppet. If you have enough Precognition, the Puppet will give you vision and help you. If you are stuck in Puppet’s body and stay with MC body, you will witness your body coming back to life and the vision will tell you to run. So I guess the puppet is still with you in the puppet body.



Likewise, I don't think it's Anathema who takes the body because in the same scene, the vision will tell you that what's taken your body is dangerous, that it wants you and you have to run. Anathema was always kind to Sidestep so it would be strange that they want to hurt you suddenly?



For me, it's not Locus either. I don't see why they would take the body? You have the possibility to frame them for what you did to Argent in Rebirth but there's also a possibility that you don't. So why would they want to come after you? Also, they are not that important in the first two books. They only appear a few times.



My first guess was that it's Heartbreak. After all, their gender is Puppet lock, they were in your head during the incident that caused your "death". They are important, probably mad due to all the experiment that was made on them and that would make sense that they want to come back and hurt you. 



BUT! I did a run where I was stuck in my Sidestep's body and I decided to leave my puppet at the hospital (Mortum was too angry at me to do anything so my puppet was stuck at the hospital and my MC was not worried at all and didn't suspect anything). I also decided to not visit ANYONE (not ortega my love, not steel...) So my MC did go to sleep and had a... dream, memory? 

The "dream" takes place in the Farm and two people are talking about someone. That someone seems to be dying and they talk about putting their "soul" in your body to save them????? Like??? What??? 

But again, maybe I did not understand their conversation exactly. I will try to do it again and screenshot the scene. 



Also, the thing taking the other body seems to be really clever. They will play victim to have Mortum stab you (ouch) but will answer text from your henchman or Ortega like nothing's wrong and we are told that they have work to do (I don't like that). 



Anyway, what do you all think? 

The discord server probably already figured that out but I don't know how Discord works and at this point I'm too afraid to ask.

Terra has a Chat with a REAL Moderator this Time

In lieu of my original post that gained a lot of traction, and me talking about being “contacted” by someone claiming to be a mod.

An ACTUAL mod from the Official Cookie Run discord managed to contact me and  set the record straight on a few things, as well as discuss a few things regarding what happened. So it seems that this whole situation has indeed caught the attention of the mods of the Cookie Run Official Discord, and even MicMac himself. So what’s been done?

I do wanna talk about it in greater detail, so I’m gonna put everything in a cut, starting now. If you want the TL;DR version, skip to the second picture of Chestnut with Walnut at the end.

First things First, the person who I talked on the moderation team was someone by the name of Zayder, who contacted me on anon with their details. Using some help from friends We were able to background check and confirm, yes this person is actually legit. So I was reassured I wasn’t walking into some kind of trap.

What’s Being Done to Protect Artists on the Discord, Moving Forward?

I think this is the big question on everyone’s mind since I made my original post and all eyes are on the moderators and MicMac to make the change.

There seems to be a genuine admittance to the fact that the previous way fanart was moderated was ineffective and caused issues such as the theft and reposting to happen. 

So they’ve gone ahead and added stricter measures to prevent this from happening again. Including preventing new members from posting until they get the “Cookie” role, a cooldown on the channel to allow for easier moderation and viewing of said artwork, and heavier infractions laid down for art theft. 

I mentioned that the cooldown also allows for time for people to appreciate genuine artwork posted. So considering the magnitude of its members I’d say that’s a great first step in moving forward towards protecting community fanartists. I got confirmation from members in my own discord that the cooldown IS indeed already enacted and even increased from 10 to 30 minutes, so I have reassurance that what’s being told to me is true. 

They DO have a report system on their bot, but it seems most people prefer just messaging mods so that system in itself is rather flawed, but only so much you can do there. 

(^ This one’s my own artwork, btw!! ^) Zayder also asked me for my own feedback on what could be done to help protect artists, since I am an artist myself. It seems most of the moderation team are not artists and this probably lent itself to making moderation there so weak. 

In summary my main suggestions that were noticed were being mindful of traced art, and a dedicated section or post explaining art theft and how it harms artists and the importance of crediting artists. As not everyone understands how it hurts us, some people genuinely are uninformed. Which Zayder stated he would forward to Mic Mac. (Not sure how I feel about my own suggestions going directly to MicMac himself, but you know!!)

Fawn’s Situation happened so Long Ago that most of it is Lost (or worst case scenario, was deleted by a member of the moderation team) 

While the general consensus now is indeed “Yes, Fawn created Nutmeg Cookie,” there doesn’t seem to be much in the way of evidence towards who the perpetrator was (We had their username, hazbinalastor666, but not their ID and they’ve since changed it to cover their tracks) and the moderators involved with Fawn’s “Ban” to be found on the Official Cookie Run Discord. At least not anymore.

Zayder has confirmed that Fawn “left” the server in December of 2019, which lines up with Fawn’s own statements on the situation. However Zayder stated that whoever kicked her didn’t actually put her on the banlist. So either they kicked her manually, or they used the bot and then used it to erase all evidence of it and pretend nothing happened (which he certainly HOPES is not the case, and I do as well). It did not help that Trial Mods were not a thing yet by this time (They were not introduced until February of 2020), according to what Zayder told me. So things on that Discord were essentially pretty gun-ho. It’s not as simple as looking up a term and going to “Oldest” to track down stuff from the time.  Plus a good chunk of it seemed to have happened through DMs so... Good Luck getting that evidence.

Zayder informed me that Fawn is welcome to come back at any time. Though speaking with her she’s chosen not to, and considering her situation I don’t think anyone can blame her. I would like to believe that the version of the Discord that Fawn had to go through is not the same as the one we have now but something like isn’t essentially going to wash away what happened.

As for evidence that Fawn created Nutmeg first? Yes I do have it. The original incident,  hazbinalastor666 claimed that they created Nutmeg in November of 2019, However there’s evidence in our own discord showing Fawn creating Nutmeg as early as September of 2019.

As well as the day Fawn came forward on our discord about the situation after keeping quiet out of fear of backlash, ignited by seeing the thief get a commission of Nutmeg. However, I don’t plan to post that publicly unless I have Fawn’s okay. 

Yes. The First “Mod” That tried to Contact Me was Pretty Undeniably Someone Posing as a Mod From the Official Discord

“I'm also really curious on what you found false on what the "moderator" said to you. Nobody on the mod team ever told us they were gonna contact you, so I wouldnt know who that is.”

So that was my first sign that clearly the original person who contacted me at least wasn’t doing so without the consensus of the other mods, and neither did they consult the mods afterwards... So very, very likely they were a fake from the start. Some of the things that were off that I told to Zayder, and that we found through conversation were as follows:

The first person contacted me on a throwaway and refused to disclose who they were. Zayder gave me the ID of his personal discord and we could verify who they were easily.

The first person blew off my own suggestions for helping improve the fanart channels with statements like “We’re already cracking down on it.” Zayder asked me for my own suggestions as an artist without even being asked.

The first person kept trying to get me to get Fawn to use a VPN in order to get back into the Official Cookie Run Discord. Despite being told repeatedly that’s not how a VPN works. That’s just fucking weird. 

The first person couldn’t track anything down regarding Fawn’s situation years ago, Zayder was at least able to actually pinpoint the date in which Fawn was kicked, and rather quickly too I might add.

Zayder had pretty proficient knowledge on the bot the Discord uses for moderation and how it works. Which he explained to me a few times. The first person said to me at one point, and I quote, “For all I know the bot gives messages when infractions are laid.”

So seeing how talking with a real Moderator like Zayder was, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that someone was trying to dupe me here for some reason. Was it revenge? Did they want some sort of blackmail? Did they want me to proverbially “back off?” And if they ARE a mod why wouldn’t they give the info and such that I gave them to the other mods? Who knows. 

TL;DR:

Long Story short, it does appear as if the Moderation Team and Mic Mac have heard the artists of the fandom and are going to be working hard to lay down stricture rules regarding posting and doing their best to make sure credit goes where credit is due.

Fawn’s incident happened so long ago there’s not much evidence to be found on the Official discord, but we DO have proof that Nutmeg Cookie belongs to UpsetFawn!

Overall, my talk with Zayder was very pleasant and enlightening and I believe Zayder would say about the same! I never meant to cause such an uproar, but I’d like to think things will change for the better now that we’ve all spoken up on behalf of our fellow artist. 

What we need to do now is watch how the Cookie Run Official Discord moves forward and if they’ll stick to their word towards protecting fandom content creators from theft and uncredited reposts. Though after my talk I’m certainly optimistic they will.

the chaotic energy is strong as fuck with this one LOL i swear, whenever i talk to cal, i smile and she makes me laugh all the time. when we first talked, tbh i didn’t know what to expect and ngl i thought she ignored me on purpose because we were talking and she suddenly stopped replying for like a couple of weeks and i was like ... did i say something wrong (it turned out to be dumblr’s fault so). I was super intimidated by her but honestly, we’re really just the same level of clown and i think another thing that ‘shocked’ me was the amount of things we had in common. like dude, we can talk about EVERYTHING. literally everything. i tell her most stuff and even sensitive topics, we are able to talk it out and respect each others opinions without judgement. I don’t feel like im walking around eggshells around her now and im rly comfortable with her which is funny bc when we first started out i was kinda scared of her lol

i guess when i first talked to dana, i didn't think i’d find an older sister/mentor figure in her? she’s the one i go to talk about school and just tell random stuff about sometimes lmao... i’m kind of blown away by the level of maturity this woman has and it really does feel like i’m talking to someone i can really look up to as a role model of the kind of person i might wanna be like yknow? also dana strikes me as someone who’s very reserved and keeps to herself but i feel like that might not be the case because wow this woman is like ‘boss lady’ personified. you can’t put dana in a box seriously, she’ll break right out of it and amaze you. talking to dana feels like wearing goggles and looking at things from another perspective. so often i can be so dead set on my decisions and dana will say something that makes me go like ‘wait...’

there’s just so many good things about nabi that i’ve discovered, i don’t even know how to start. so when i first started talking to nabi, i don’t think i realised how deep of a friendship would blossom from our first conversation. i don't think i realised just how much i would come to see nabi as someone i can rely on and like trust my secrets with. when i say tumblr’s my support system, nabi is really one of main reasons. she really helped me through my toughest time in college and for that, i’m just so extremely grateful to her? i always prided myself to solve my own problems without asking for help but i think i first found someone i can be vulnerable around in nabi. she’s the first person i really talked to about how shitty uni is even tho i wanted to try my best to look like im doing ok. i guess i’m just ‘shocked’ at how much i feel like i can tell you stuff without feeling insecure.

ok, yu is another big sister to me but more of the big sister who’s quiet, shy and just so fun to tease because she’s so cute with her reactions. like everyone else, i was also a little afraid of yu at first and i didn’t rly know what to say or do around her. i used to think she’s like the ice queen type but i guess the shock came in when i found that she’s actually quite soft? like ice queen who? not yu, for sure. she’s so incredibly full of wisdom and if i turn to dana and nabi for advice, i turn to yu for philosophical nuggets of wisdom.

i’ve 100% mentioned this before but i’m mentioning it again. my first impression of anie is someone who is just so sweet, so kind and just extremely soft (she still is btw but hear me out). like i rmb when she first talked to me on kkt and talked to me discord when i felt so invisible, i was just so grateful to her and i was like she’s so nice omg >< i must say i didn’t expect her to have such a fiery, fiesty side? it’s like looking at an angel with that delightful streak of mischief and darkness in them. she’s super vocal about what she likes and doesn’t and is extremely outspoken about what is right even if it means she might have to bear the consequences for it. i think that’s something about her that makes me like woah omg i like her even more now. you get?

i first met ley when i joined her neo summer collab ( which was also my very first collab ^^ ). i rmb i was just like kinda intimidated by her because she just seemed so cool and like yknow ‘up there’? unreachable in a way? i was relatively new to writeblr tumblr then so i mostly kept to myself and didn’t dare to like say anything for fear that i’d unknowingly say something wrong. though, when i actually started talking to ley, i realised that she’s actually really soft and kind? i think in my mind, i was just so caught up with the idea of accidentally offending people that i never gave a chance to people before placing them in that box you know? like oh idk i might not approach them bc im scared. but talking to ley kind of dashed that and i rmb being like so awestruck and happy when she told me she would feature me in one of her fics because that had to be one of the kindest thing anyone has ever done to me. i guess the ‘shock’ here is that i didn’t expect her to be so sweet and receptive to a peasant like me lmao

woong is from seoul, which is where he spent the first seven (7) years of his life. but then his parents divorced super suddenly & his dad ~kept the house~ so woong, his mom and his four siblings had to find somewhere else to go. they ended up moving to handong-ri on jeju island and settling in with the mom’s parents on their tangerine farm. so....... yeah he moved from seoul to a fuckin village 😭

really spacious house, really spacious property, really pretty property, but woong was not happy at all. he missed seoul & missed his dad, who made no effort to continue being a father figure after the divorce which was also Really Shocking because he was a great dad before that.

but, life goes on. woong was still really young anyway, so he adjusted to the farm life + to jeju. he ended up finding an activity that got him off the farm and that he actually really, really liked, too  —  soccer!!! he was a fast learner, naturally athletic so he did well and his coach had a LOT of faith in him. eventually he formed the plan to return to seoul as an athlete / to train in a big sports center there but y’know... life can’t be that easy.

aka he got badly injured during a match in 2013 / when he was 16. managed to tear BOTH his acl and pcl, so his leg was Fucked. had to get surgery and the whole recovery process (including physical therapy) took a year and some change. very bad time. i would even call it a Horrible time. he didn’t feel like he was good at anything other than soccer so he was like damn... how am i gonna get out of here now?

but he had his height and his subjective good looks going for him 🤪 in 2014, he had more or less recovered as well as he was going to, was kinda tentative about trying soccer again but Wanted to. before he could work up the courage, he was street casted by a dimensions rep. his family clowned him hard for thinking it was real so he kinda went to the audition to prove that he’s not THAT dumb, kinda went bc he needed an excuse to get tf back into a city, man. handong was NOT cutting it for him.

long story short he became a trainee from pure luck (and some natural talent ig), moved to seoul which fucked up his family relationships to some extent bc him leaving was VERY sudden, no one except his oldest sister even knew that he had been planning to leave for sports. assumed he’d stay there forever, thought it was fucked up that he was so quick to run away.

i’m gonna jump ahead to 2021... i wouldn’t really say that he hates unity, but he definitely feels like an outsider looking in. doesn’t have a background in music, so being an idol at all still feels really weird, but especially with unity’s ~experimental~ music.

he’s distant. when he was younger (and even in his earlier idol days), he was nice enough. not loud, but would laugh and play along with others if they spoke to him first, would reach out to others first on occasion. but his company-assigned image is a mix between tsundere & the “assa” / outsider type; detached, fine on his own, a bit cold/mean/aggressive. like vixx’s leo earlier on but a little more toned-down. going with the outsider portion, he also has the clueless/living under a rock vibe going for him, so fans call him caveman woong 💀 it used to be JUST an image but ultimately fucked up his ability to connect with other people so now he’s rly like that most of the time (and really doesn’t keep up with the world LOL) you can talk to him but his social skills are so bad now that he’ll ignore you but not on purpose.... mf just doesn’t know what to say ever bc he’s been told Not To Talk so much.

he isn’t.... necessarily... mean. he can be, but i’d personally say that he’s more of a self-focused, no bullshit type. really lonely guy who doesn’t know how to interact with others anymore. i guess he wants to relearn people skills, but he’s not trying at the moment. content to just float around in his bubble.

known for being really strong/athletic, which has become one of his very few defining characteristics as an idol. he cannot count the times that he’s shown off his strength by holding a note while splitting fruit on variety shows or dribbled soccer balls for extended periods of time. He’s Tired.

a lesser-known skill he shows off sometimes is his ability to identify plants. if you don’t know him as the athletic guy or the cold guy, you probably know him as the nature guy. he has most korea-native plants memorized and he’s currently working on learning exotic plants. one unspoken goal he has is to show off on a show like law of the jungle.

he raises a bunch of different fish / water-dwelling creatures. has three different tanks.

he used to be REALLY secretive about his family, only ever said that he used to live in jeju but never shared details or clarified any speculations. his privacy disappeared when his family started promoting the tangerine farm as “a place full of unity’s woong’s charms” and allowing visitors, which pissed him off SO BAD because they were making money off of HIS labor... and then they realized he has a lot of fans & they couldn’t handle it, so they closed off the farm to the public again. somehow, this made him even more angry.

he doesn’t really do any solo activities and idk if i’m ever going to push him as an individual? idk i might but he’s honestly not that interesting/appealing to anyone other than his stans so i don’t see the company pushing him and he doesn’t have much of a desire to do anything on his own in the public eye, either. lowkey so tired that he kinda wishes he’d just stayed in jeju but at the same time..... knows if he had, he’d still be looking for a way out??? idk he’s just here to promote unity’s ~experimental~ songs and pretend like he has a sense of identity.
