i feel like cg5's older music is better than his newer stuff

think about freddy. it's very autotuned. so autotuned in fact you probably couldn't even tell matpat was in it if it wasn't in the title.

and this wasn't always the case, like in labyrinth, or even in more recent stuff like children of the machine. dagames is amazing in that. seriously it's really good. i wish freddy would've let matpat shine instead of drowning him in autotune

#yeah this is only one example but it's something i've noticed #like. repair me feels really really weird? labyrinth's intro & outro sound better as indigo park songs than his actual indigo park song #and somebody real is a really generic sounding pop song about tadc?? it sounds like a modern disney song #it. it really doesn't work well at all #btw idgaf about the ohio or grimace shake or skibidi toilet songs let the man have fun with some stupid memes #honestly let the man have fun with all of his song #i just think the quality has gone downhill from what it used to be #actually wait i think the problem with all these songs is that they're all way too radio pop #like cg5 has always had some autotune i believe #but he used to use guitars in his music #now it's all. noises. not even instruments #how am i meant to describe them when they aren't tied to any instruments or anything #i think this is why u move works when all the other stuff doesn't #u move isn't radio pop. it's not disney. it's horror themed & rooted in older styles #it doesn't come off as generic because it's actually tried to be something different #i hope people read these tags because i'm too lazy to change the post to reflect my actual thoughts anymore
