Hello, this is Jin It’s two hours before my birthday This is something I worked hard on, I’ll leave this here! Hello, this is Jin. A while ago, during our press conference, I said this: “I don’t want to share my sad emotions with our fans. That’s because I only want to show them the happy parts. But when it comes to music, then that’s a different story. Although I don’t want my sadness to come through in my everyday actions, if it’s through music, then I think it’s okay to show it.” Actually, recently I felt a very great sense of burnout, and I think it was because I started thinking a lot about me, myself. After we reached No.1 on the Billboard HOT 100, many people offered their congratulations but I wondered if it was okay for me to receive all this.. To be honest, there are many people who love music more than me and are better than me, so I wondered if it was alright for me to receive all this joy and congratulations.. I had thoughts like these, and as I thought deeper about it, my heart grew heavy and I felt like I wanted to lay it all down. Because of this, I also sought counselling and as the days went by, I tried talking to Bang PD-nim. He asked what I thought about writing these emotions into a song. I replied “I’m not confident that I can do a good job. What if the results turn out subpar, what am I to do? I’ve reached a position where that isn’t allowed…” To that, Bang PDnim said, “those things aren’t important”. But if I did end up working on the song, he said that I’d definitely do really well, and that he’d look for the right people to work alongside me. So that’s how I ended up meeting producer BUMZU hyungnim. I shared my current feelings and a lot of other things with him. He’s a really bright and positive person. He said that he’d help me out and said, “Let’s try to write about all the unease you’re feeling~ If that doesn’t work, we can work something else out”. With his positive energy, I brightened up again. So after all of our conversations, he produced a track on the spot for me from the many emotions I was feeling. I wrote down all of the things I wanted to say in the song and so, Abyss was complete. I wanted to express my thanks once again to BUMZU hyungnim. The song isn’t exactly right for a birthday, it’s a bit too melancholy. But then again, if not on my birthday, it would be hard to find the right time. So this is how Abyss came to be released. ARMYs, please enjoy the song, even if it’s not perfect. ps. Thank you to our leader-nim, who wrote the lyrics to the chorus.

Happy Tumblrversary Y'all! ♡

Oh my gawddd, it's been a year since tumblr already??

I can't believe it :))

The fact that I've spent around three years with these wonderful friends of mine has me tearing up. It's been a beautiful journey with them, and on here, writing Open Books.

I started the book in December 2021 with less than the bare minimum ➖ the only idea in mind that I had was the wish for the story to help spread an impactful message about abuse, bullying, and toxic families. It wasn't until Author A suggested the name 'Open Books', that I truly knew what the story would be about.

Like how the beloved characters in the story learn to explore more about themselves and each other every second, of every day — like how they will, no doubt, slowly write and fill the rest of each other's empty pages with nothing but love, effort, growth, and true understanding in the future that is yet to come — I know we have been evolving too. A very huge part of this growth in me is because of the unconditional love and support I get from my dear co-writers.

Thankyou for all the enthusiasm you've shown our blog up until now! That we've reached 50 followers is truly a wonderful milestone! :))

Here's to all those memories together, and more that are yet to come!🥂

I am looking forward to it! :))

Hello, authors! New reader here. It's crazy and admirable how your fanfics feel very separate from real life. You've truly created your own world! I have fun reading your work, but I don't have tumblr. How else can people support you if we can't like or "retweet" (whatever the equivalent is on this platform lol) your posts?

Hi, thank you so much for your lovely comment & it always makes us so happy to see new people reading and liking our work. 

I am guessing there is a particular reason you maybe don’t want to create a Tumblr account? Which is obviously fine. We are also active on archive of our own and deviantart if you prefer those platforms, but Tumblr is nice in that we can post both our fanart and written works all in one place (as well as being able to answer questions etc.) and also from a reader’s perspective, that you can subscribe to us and get notifications when we post. 

We do have a donate page if anyone can support us financially through Paypal, but we do not expect this. We split anything we receive between both admins by buying each other drinks when we go out together. :)

If you do not wish to create any account, I would say maybe just to check our Tumblr every few days to see if we have posted. You can show support by sharing our blog with any friends you have who are maybe BTS fans (and if you think they would like our work), or by anon messaging us feedback or if you like any particular fic/fanart etc. that we post. You do not need an account to anon message us as you have found (but please no hate! Unfortunately we have had a few people abuse this feature recently to send us nasty comments) :)

Such a great movie. Although it was very emotional at some moments, the boys never failed to make me laugh and smile (-:

I was so touched, watching them and hearing them talk to us about their struggles. How they always want to be perfect for us and put on a great show for Army’s always. As an army, that really touched my heart. Fans don’t get this kind of genuine love. I couldn’t be happier being their fan.

There was a lot of talk about the after- like what’s next after ‘bts’ and although I guess it’s uncertain- I’m certain that whatever comes after, I’ll still continue to follow and admire these boys 💜

Basically- I loved the movie!

I hope more than anything that they’re taking care of themselves and are happy right now (-:

Part 1: Prelude

When I woke up, I found myself laying on the futon in my studio. I looked around a bit confused, when the hell did I fall asleep? The last thing I remembered was working at my computer...and laying down here...to take a break? It was about 11 at night the last time I checked the time and my lights were still dim in the studio from when I fell asleep. I checked my watch wondering how long I was out for. Well that cant be right, i thought to myself. my watch said it was 9:00..I sat up and looked around for my phone, finding it on the floor and checking the time, it was in fact 9:00 but in the morning. What the fuck? I slept through the night? Damn. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and walked over to the computer. It was on sleep mode, and when I turned it on I remembered why I had writers block.  It was the song I was supposed to be working on for Suran. She wanted a break up song of all things, and I had a bunch of old work from when I was feeling "inspired" I had pulled them up and started putting some of them together until I came up with something new and changing the pronouns to match a female singers point of view, and not me, a male rapper, who they were originally intended for.

As I was putting this together last night it reopened an old wound and memories of HER started flooding my mind. Needing a break, I decided to scroll through social media on the futon where at some point, I fell asleep. And now this again. I was about to start torturing myself again and finish working on this when my phone chimed. I was going to ignore it but a flurry of "dinging" was coming from my phone one after another. I checked it when it finally stopped. I don't text much, so there was only a few conversations in my messaging app. Apart from scattered messages to the few friends and family I had/ cared to talk to, there was the group chat between me and the rest of the members. This one, was one of the reasons my phone had chimed, but there was also a new chat. This one was also for me and the members, but it was formed by a number I didn't recognize.

All i read was: My name is y/n, I'm the new health specialist.

annoyed, I muted the notifications, and I chucked my phone over to the futon. I dont understand why we always have to go through this. Every so often we get a new "health specialist". It's always the same thing too. They come in and "talk to us", they call it a consultation. And despite anything we say, its always the same outcome: diet, lose weight, starve. I gave up on that a long time ago.

I sat back down in front of the computer. I stared at the screen for a moment waiting to see if anything came to me.

"Baby please don't go". I read that line over and over. I sighed. whether in anger, frustration...even sadness, I couldn't tell anymore.

"Coffee" I thought to myself, "definitely going to need coffee. But first.." i swiveled my chair around to face the shelf off to my right. This wasn't the first time I had fallen asleep here. It was so much a habit that i had started to leave toothpaste and a toothbrush here. I grabbed them from off the shelf and walked out of the studio.

Another habit I had was procrastinating. I was well aware that that was exactly what I was doing now as I was brushing my teeth in the company bathroom. "I just need coffee and i can work again" or "let me just eat first and I'll start" along with other excuses I give myself. Another habit I had was starting a new project before finishing another. That’s the sort of state i found myself this morning. With writers block and a lot on my plate. With this sort of excuse i found it easy to lie to myself. I didn’t need coffee to finish my work. It wasn’t caffeine that helped write hit songs. It was emotion, pain, and experience that did. and that’s what I was afraid of. In the back of my mind I knew this. I knew i was afraid to revisit old memories and reopen old scars. Even so, after i finished brushing my teeth, i made my way to the lounge for that coffee.
