A. Jimin's birthday

Lol. No I don't think I'm really worried about Jikook more so than I am Vmin, Jinmin, Minimoni. Jikook is the least of my worries.

Do I expect Jungkook to post for JM's birthday- Hell yea the fuck? Like who does he expect to love on his boyfriend for him?

If I have to post for Jimin I'm snatching him and shipping him with myself🙃

And this may sound incriminating but I'll tie Jk's leg down while Jimin tickles him till he pees on himself and we will take a snapshot of his wedgie, post it online and tag Lisa, Yeri and Mijoo in it😌

I remember saying this last time that I feel a big part of the reason someone like Tae would CHOOSE not to post publicly for a member is because of certain shippers who romanticize his relationship with certain members💀

I said this for Jk and I'll say this for Tae, disengaging is one way they take back control especially when they feel overwhelmed by the fact there's too much public scrutiny or interference in their personal lives.

For Jungkook it's the back to back scandals and people blowing that whole Mijoo thing out of proportion coupled with the members' *over censorship* within that period in my opinion.

For Tae I don't know what happened in his trajectory between September last year and December 2020 but he went from saying he loved showcasing his chemistry with the members, from teasing Jungkook in an interview on his birthday and exposing the fact he was the one who bought champagne for JK on his birthday- a fact he willingly contributed himself without which no one would have known what he did for JK on his birthday besides the Twitter post- to now saying in December he preferred to keep something he'd done for Jin private- even though Jin had said he felt Army ought to know and subsequently not posting for these members.

And yes he really does love to showcase his chemistry with the members- even to this date- like hello, TFM 2021!

And he is constantly confessing he likes Jimin too to this date and I believe him🤣

Don't know why he would consistently use Jimin as his muse and write songs about him if he wasn't emotionally attached or at least fascinated by him🤷🏽‍♀️

- unless he's been over compensating for something all this while...

I won't be surprised if these members are actually in on the charade or whatever this not posting for members is and they akekeke behind closed doors whenever we come lamenting through the streets because A didn't post for B💀

I guess what I'm saying is, I do expect JK and V to post on this birthday. If they don't that's fine. I can understand for V and as for JK, dude dipped off the surface of the internet the instant the fandom started acting funny and his recent FTC scandal isn't helping the situation.

Jimin is either about to become a casualty of our toxic fandom like RM was or he about to get on his fuck y"all I'm gay shit🤣

The fact JM himself seem tired of the shit in the fandom isn't boasting my confidence either. I can't trust him to whoop Jk's ass if he don't post for him. He'd be the one saving posts of shippers crying online about Jk not posting for him and laughing his butt off while spooning JK at nitght.

And contrary to what some of you say I really do believe Jimin does have a say in these things. If Jk tells him, honey I don't wanna deal with the fandom toxic ass right now so don't expect a post from me, he's prolly gonna say no worries bro just blow me out later and handshake on it.

That said, I'm not above groveling and throwing tantrums if they both don't post.

B. JK'S FTC ISSUE

Ahh... this topic.

Like I said before, Jk is a brand and that brand is owned by BigHit. I don't know what is in his contract and whether or not the company has full or partial control over his brand.

I like to think each member has a slightly different contract from eachother under BigHit that caters to their individual needs and desires.

When Tae wanted to feature Jimin on a song on his personal project it wasn't allowed. But they've had features with artists outside of BTS and Jikook were featured on a Song together. Savage love didn't feature all the members either.

You can glean the nature of their contracts from their actions and the way they interact with other artists.

The point I made with those posts was that the only way Jk would be in trouble in this case is if he made fraudulent misrepresentations as the other allegations against him simply didn't have any legal merit.

And so far that is the same thing the FTC has said stating that for him to be held liable he must have made false claims or reviews and merely putting on clothes does not constitute deception.

His actions do not violate the fair trade act as I said in my first post on the matter.

Intention to deceive is a bit tricky- often a person's intention is determined by the logical consequences of their actions.

If you throw a knife at me it really doesn't matter your actual intentions because logically throwing knives at people will injure them. You can't throw a knife at me and claim your intention was not to harm me. And if I end up dead then goodluck defending your murder charges in court.

If he made a statement about his clothes knowing it was false then he'd be in trouble regardless...

Also I really don't feel comfortable talking about this bit because you just never know who will take this and use it to make an argument against him💀

The problem here is, the FTC cannot require artists and influencers to give a disclaimer or disclose information about the clothes they wear even if them merely wearing it advertises such clothes.

This whole under the table advertisement law is funny to me.

On one hand I see the problem they are trying to fix but at the same time the problem is so nuanced it's gonna be hard to legislate.

If people buy clothes their idols wear without them having to say anything about the brand then all companies have to do is pay these artists to wear certain clothes during their lives or even consume certain items on their live and that item will sell out.

Jungkook has a reputation of the sell out King in S.K and his lives are watched by millions of people. He's gonna be a hotcake among brands and if that's the case then that means BigHit would either want to step in and control what items and products are used by them in these VLives which would amount to too much censorship and control and would ruin the experience for the members. Isn't that what happened with his gcfs?? Not everything has to be monetized.

I see why VLive has that policy against showing brand labels during VLive now.

Now I'm scratching my head as to why they pace themselves with these VLives and whether that is by design or accident🤔

Remember when I was blubbering on about that this person wants to do a VLive but it seems the company is pacing them?? From Jin to JK to Jimin? Cough JMs birthday VLive. Cough cough.

Recently RM said the members don't come on live because they don't know what to say( unless that was a mistranslation)

Jk equally implied he wasn't prepared for a live but was asked to do one last year when he was rebelling...

I'm caught between thinking the members don't wanna do a vlive for XY reasons and the company pacing them for obvious reasons.

Y'all get creative and fill in the gaps for me because I'm 🤔🤔🤔🤔 right now.

Is it just me or is this show desperate for viewers? With the lines WATCH LIVE TONIGHT and KJs bts stories telling people to watch lol it’s hilarious to me bc they did this to themselves 🤷‍♀️

Okay, first of all, usual disclaimer about how I am fully aware Neilsen ratings are but a snapshot of the whole, the deal with Netflix is lucrative, they don't count non-US viewers, etc.

Look, many shows decline in viewership as they go on. It's normal. It is to be expected.

But the way the ratings have fallen is just absolutely pathetic, and I'm with you, anon. I have absolutely zero sympathy. In fact, I watch with joy as the ratings fall lower and lower. Time was, during my Fringe days, I would have actively campaigned to keep the show going. Now, I groan with dread at the prospect of S7. Check out the show in their heyday, season 2:

They averaged about 1.3 million viewers. Their lowest rated episode still got almost a million viewers. Now check out S5:

LOOK AT THAT. They barely cracked over 350,000 viewers last episode! Their average this season is about 500,000, and that's with the aid of the premiere. Their decisions this season have been mystifying, from ships, to the promos, to the dragging plot, to circlejerk episodes dedicated to minor characters.

And now they're starting to beg people to watch live. Honestly, I couldn't be happier to see them beg for it.

Sorry for taking so long to answer these! It was the longest weekend ever and then I had to work all day yesterday. Btw, I already answered 7 and 12 here!

2: Do you participate in any writing events or challenges throughout the year? If so, what do you like about them? Not really... I used to do those prompt lists for a bit when I was in the legend of korra fandom. lol I'd try to write a drabble a day, but it was difficult to keep up with sometimes, especially for the 30 day ones. I did some ship week things too for that fandom. It's been a long time since I participated in anything like that though. I mostly just liked the writing practice tbh... I stay away from anything too competitive because I'm a sore loser. 🤣

18: What is a line/scene you’re really proud of? Give us the DVD commentary for that scene. One line I'm really proud of is this one from Touch Starved:

“Feeling that sweet rush of Oxytocin yet?” he jokes, sliding his palm around so that it kisses the inside of hers.

I don't know that I have commentary for it necessarily... I'm really surprised I came up with it at all ngl. 🤣 I do think I was really feeling Seth though, and I imagined he'd probably try to lighten the mood with a joke like in the s3 finale. He's trying his best to make this easy for her. 😭 I don't think it's a line of dialogue that I planned tbh... usually my fics start with dialogue and I build the story around that, but this one I think came to me as I was writing it. I must've been trying to find a way to end the ficlet by that point, and it felt natural to stop after that bit cause it was supposed to be like a little snapshot of Kate's healing journey.

The Days of Spring | Lalisa

Genre: angst, fluff

Request: Can you make a scenario with lisa where you and her have been dating for a few years and only the members know about it. But yg’s been forcing her to go out with jungkook cause it’s good for publicity + the lizkook shippers are intense so you question if you should leave her to help her career. But since everything’s affecting your relationship she cant take it anymore and tells the world she’s gay and you guys are dating and everyone turns out being supportive

Is the coast clear?

You texted Lisa while you were sitting in your parked car a few blocks away from the dorm. Despite already dating for three years, you still had to sneak around like teenagers.

Lisa answered and you sighted, putting on your baseball cap and a mask. Your face was completely covered now, and you could dare to get close to Blackpink’s dorm. The paparazzi was everywhere and the two of you couldn’t risk anyone making up theories, because of how often you frequented the dorm. With quick steps and your head ducked low, you made your way to the gate of the property where one of Lisa’s managers let you in after checking a last time that no one was filming you.

It was an exhausting procedure, but it was routine already. Silently you rode the elevator to the right floor with the manager, knowing that he was disapproving of you being here. YG had found out about your relationship rather soon, because both of you knew that it was impossible to keep your relationship a secret from her company and the public. They didn’t approve of your relationship, but they did not disapprove either. They simply tolerated it as long as it didn’t compromise Lisa’s career.

The manager accompanied you to the door where he looked at you sternly.

“Be sure to leave until 10pm. Lisa has practice tomorrow morning. She needs her sleep.”

You flashed him a fake smile, but as soon as he turned his back to you, it faltered, and you rolled your eyes instead. As if Lisa wasn’t old enough to decide when she needed to go to bed herself. You opened the door with your spare key and took off your shoes once you stepped into the apartment.

When you made your way to the living room, you frowned. Something was bothering you.

It was unusually quiet in the dorm.

Normally music was blasting out of one of the girl’s room, someone was bickering, or they were all cuddled up on the couch, watching some TV. But right now, you couldn’t hear a sound, and no one was in sight. Confused you made your way to Lisa’s room, where you could see Chaeyoung sitting on the edge of your girlfriend’s bed through a crack in the door. She was whispering something, and it seemed like she was comforting Lisa.

Concerned you opened the door, making both of the girls whip their head around in surprise.

“Y/N.”

Chaeyoung exclaimed shocked and you shifted your gaze between the two girls.

Commiseratively, Chaeyoung looked at Lisa a last time before getting up and squeezing your hand while passing you to leave the room.

“What is going on?”

You asked curiously and Lisa looked at you with sad eyes.

“I’m so sorry.”

She whispered, while a tear rolled down her cheek and you immediately stumbled to her side, scooping her up into your lap, letting her rest her head against your chest.

“Hey it’s ok. Why are you apologizing?”

You voiced your confusion, but Lisa stayed silent.

Therefore, you just kept holding her in your arms, waiting for her to be ready to talk. It had been quiet for a while now and you had already started zoning out, causing Lisa’s sudden voice to startle you.

“They are making me date Jungkook.”

Lisa’s voice was silent, but her words were clear, and you had no trouble understanding them acoustically. Nevertheless, you couldn’t process her words, making you push her away a bit to be able to look into her face.

“What?”

You hoped that you had only misunderstood her, but when she looked at you in regret, you knew that you hadn’t.

“Blackpink has received a lot of negative press lately, because of the delay of the album launch. Therefore, YG decided that we need a distraction and good publicity.”

Lisa trailed her sentence off, apparently not wanting to give you more information, but you kept staring at her expectantly, so she sighted loudly.

“A lot of people ship us with the BTS members. So YG struck a deal with Big Hit. Jungkook has been struggling with unbeneficial dating rumors lately, so they are going to feed the press that we’re dating to eliminate those rumors and distract everyone from our delayed album.”

Finally, Lisa looked at you and you could see how uncomfortable she was right now. But you didn’t have the words to make her feel better.

“But.. we’re dating.”

You stammered, not being able to grasp that YG would do something like that to you.

“And that isn’t going to change. I swear, there will be nothing going on between Jungkook and me. We just have to go on some fake dates, so the paparazzi will be able to snap a few pictures of us.”

Lisa scrambled to her knees now, cupping your face and looking deeply into your eyes.

Of course, you believed her, but that didn’t mean that it didn’t hurt. For over two years YG knew that you were dating, and they still didn’t allow the two of you to go public. You had to hide and weren’t even allowed to be seen next to Lisa. But someone like Jungkook could be portrayed with her.

“Could you please say something, Y/N?”

Lisa’s shaky voice ripped you from your train of thoughts and you tried to muster your best smile.

“Well if it’s the best for both of your groups, I don’t mind.”

You tried to sound positive, but your voice betrayed you.

“Y/N...”

Lisa breathed, but you removed her hands from your face.

“It’s fine, Lisa. Don’t worry. I know this is just for publicity.”

You stated while climbing off the bed.

You walked to the kitchen and Lisa quickly followed you.

“We...”

Lisa started, but you immediately cut her off.

“I don’t want to talk about it anymore, Lisa, ok? I said, I’m fine. So just leave it at that.”

You retorted and Lisa closed her mouth, looking at you taken aback.

You didn’t intend to upset her, but you could really not talk about her relationship with Jungkook right now. You wanted to forget this new gained information as quickly as possible. Nevertheless, you wanted to show her that you were not mad at her, so you interlaced your fingers with her after you had gotten some snacks and pulled her to the couch.

Lisa rested her head on your shoulder, and you wrapped your arms around her like always, but it didn’t feel the same anymore. Lisa’s burning gaze was laying on you and there was this tensed atmosphere in the room, but you pretended to not notice it.

You just needed some time, you told yourself. You could come to terms with this fake relationship.

But this task turned out to be harder than you had thought.

Your plan had been to simply ignore this PR stunt. You knew that Lisa would come home to you at the end of the day. What she did in the meantime was none of your business. But it wasn’t possible to ignore the news of the year.

After Jungkook and Lisa had been shipped for years, their relationship was finally confirmed and both fandoms went absolutely wild. As well as the paparazzi. In every newspaper, every magazine and on every social media channel, they reported about your girlfriend’s newfound love, making you wish that you could close your eyes to all of this.

The pictures were the worst part. Jungkook and Lisa had already gone on three “dates” together and if you weren’t dating Lisa, you’d probably melt at the snapshots, the paparazzi had taken. They looked cute together. Wide smiles were plastered on their faces in every picture and they were always shyly holding each other’s hands.

You felt nauseous every time you looked at the pictures.

But YG’s plan seemed to be working. No one was talking about the delayed album anymore and the sales of both groups had skyrocketed.

Normally, news like that would have made you happy. You would have come to Blackpink’s dorm to drink Soju with the girls while Lisa laid in your arms, letting her fingertips softly caress your skin.

But now you could feel yourself distancing yourself from your girlfriend. The paparazzi had managed to get into your head. Would it be so bad if Lisa dated Jungkook? Of course, you would be heartbroken, but love wasn’t about selfishness. And it was selfish to keep calling Lisa yours, if she could thrive with someone like Jungkook by her side. Her fans would be appeased, and her company would surely give her more benefits if they’d see that the sales would continue to increase.

With your heart being torn in two, you made your way to the dorm. Your face concealed and your steps heavy. Once again, you found your girlfriend’s room empty, meaning that she was on one of her dates with Jungkook again. Tiredly you slumped down on Lisa’s bed, waiting for her return to do the inevitable.

It was almost midnight when she finally returned, and you chuckled to yourself when you heard her key turning in the lock. Of course, she was allowed to stay out past her curfew if she was with Jungkook. Silently she tiptoed to her room and opened the door, almost screaming in surprise when she saw you sitting on the bed.

“Y/N! I’m so sorry, I didn’t know that you were waiting.”

Lisa whispered and you could see her bad conscious reflecting in her face.

You knew now that you had to end this relationship. Not for your sake, but for Lisa’s. You hated to be a burden for her. After every date, Lisa spend every waking hour to make it up to you. She was exhausting herself while trying to balance her job, Jungkook and you.

“It’s fine.”

You reassured her for the millionth time, holding out your hand for her to take.

With a sad smile you pulled Lisa next to you on the bed and she looked at you worriedly like she was already suspecting what was going to happen.

Your gaze met hers and you felt your heart growing heavy. Her beautiful brown eyes pleaded you not to hurt her, but yet, you needed to.

“I can’t do this anymore.”

You breathed, letting your gaze fall to your lap.

“W-what do you mean?”

Lisa stammered shakily and you closed your eyes, wishing that you could teleport yourself away from this place when you opened them again.

But when you took in your surroundings again, you were still sitting in Lisa’s dimly lit room while her sniffling sounded from the side.

“You know what I mean. I’m tired of this hide and seek.”

You stated regretfully and Lisa started stuttering next to you, searching for the right words.

“Don’t do this, Y/N. I thought you loved me.”

She sobbed eventually and you looked at her again, causing the air being knocked out of your lungs when you saw Lisa’s tear-filled eyes.

“I do love you, Lisa. So much. But that’s why I need to let you go.”

You answered while wiping away a tear that rolled down Lisa’s cheek.

“No! If you love me, you will stay with me.”

Lisa almost yelled at you in desperation and you weren’t sure anymore, if you were strong enough to leave.

“Don’t be so stubborn. It’s better if I leave. Look at all those people that support Jungkook and you. You were made to date someone like him.”

You admitted reluctantly, but Lisa was having none of it. She cupped your face and forced you to look at her.

“Don’t say that, Y/N. I love you and only you. So I am meant to be with you.”

She said confidently and you could feel your resistance crumbling.

“Lisa... you could have it so much easier.”

You sighted, but Lisa immediately shook her head.

“I don’t want easy, I want you.”

She smiled while slowly moving her face closer to yours, waiting for you to push her away, but when you didn’t, she softly pressed her lips on yours.

When she pulled away, she rested her forehead on yours, stroking your cheeks with her thumbs.

“I know this is hard. And I hate that I have to put you through this. But please don’t ever leave me.”

Her voice sounded so broken that you could only agree and nod in response.

In relief, Lisa pressed another kiss on your lips before pulling you close and wrapping you into a tight embrace.

Against her management’s order, you stayed the night. Lisa didn’t want to let you go, so without further ado, you changed into one of Lisa’s oversized shirts and snuggled up in bed together. Your head was resting on Lisa’s chest, while she ran her fingers through your hair until you felt yourself drifting off to sleep. The last thing you remembered was Lisa kissing your head, before the world turned black around you.

Lisa heard your slow, steady breathing and knew that you were asleep. Finally, she could let the tears run freely that she had been holding back for weeks now. She covered her mouth with her hand to silence her sobs. The feeling of you slipping away gradually had been killing her and she had only been waiting for you to break up with her.

She had saved your relationship tonight, but Lisa knew that this wasn’t a permanent solution. You were bound to break again. But Lisa couldn’t lose you.

Carefully she slipped out from underneath you, making sure not to wake you. Quickly she grabbed her phone before tiptoeing to the living room.

She plopped down on the couch, taking a deep breath and thinking about whether she had made a rash decision. But no. The two of you had wasted enough time, trying to adapt to YG’s pace. Enough was enough. Therefore, Lisa opened the VLIVE App and started a livestream.

While the connection built, she could feel her heart almost jumping out of her chest in nervousness. Normally, she would ignore this feeling and put a fake smile on. But not today. Today she wanted to give her fans an insight into her real life.

“Hey guys.”

She greeted the already 10,000 viewers with a shaky voice once she went live.

“This livestream wasn’t planned, so bear with my rambling.”

Lisa chuckled, but when several ‘We love you’ messages appeared on her screen, she managed to calm down a bit.

“Stalling won’t make anything better, so I’m just going to tell it as it is. I’m in love with someone. But not with the person that you guys think. This person is in my life for over three years already but had to stay out of the spotlight. This person is really special to me and I can’t even start to describe my feelings.”

Lisa’s nervousness faded away when she thought about you and a smile played on her lips.

“She...”

Lisa broke off when she realized what she had just said and looked into the camera with wide eyes. But then she remembered that she could lose you forever if the two of you continued this hide and seek, so she exhaled shakily before continuing with determination.

“She is my soulmate and I wouldn’t be sitting here if it weren’t for her. I know this livestream will probably receive a lot of backlash, but I’m tired of hiding although I have done nothing wrong. I’m a role model to many young people and I want to apologize for not being honest in the past. But from now on, I don’t want to lie anymore. I want to show you that it’s ok to be yourself. Love is something beautiful and I will not let anyone tell me that it is something to be ashamed of. I...”

“Jagi?”

Your voice suddenly sounded from behind and Lisa could hear your steps nearing. A little later you appeared in the living room and Lisa made sure that the camera wasn’t showing you. You stood there with your hair disheveled in her shirt and Lisa knew that she had made the right decision. A wide smile decorated her face and she turned back to the camera again.

“Don’t let anybody tell you who to be or who to love, guys. I love all of you, always remember that. Good night!”

Lisa said before turning off the livestream and walking up to you.

“Oh my god, Lisa. Why didn’t you tell me that you were doing a VLIVE? Did they hear me?”

You asked panicked, but Lisa calmly took your hand and pulled you to the bedroom.

“Everything’ fine. Don’t worry.”

She smiled at you and you looked at her suspiciously.

“Are you sure?”

You dug deeper and Lisa nodded her head before laying down and letting you snuggle up to her.

“Why did you do a livestream at this hour?”

You suddenly wondered out loud, but Lisa didn’t want to worry you tonight.

She knew that you would disprove of her action, but it was the only way to stay by your side.

“I will tell you tomorrow. Rest now.”

Lisa whispered as she kissed the side of your head and you tightened your embrace in response.

“I love you.”

You mumbled already half asleep, causing Lisa’s heart to flutter.

“I love you too.”

She responded with a smile, knowing that she had done the right thing.

Feeling as free as never before, Lisa closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep in no time, ignoring what would come in the morning and savoring this moment instead.

“Lisa!!”

Jennie’s upset voice ripped you out of your sleep and you jolted awake. Sleepily you rubbed your eyes and saw that Jennie was standing in front of the bed with her phone in her hand, staring at her group member in shock.

When you looked at your girlfriend, you could see that a sheepish grin was forming on her lips.

“You know that you’re dead now, right?”

Jennie partly looked like she was joking, but a part of her also looked worried and you turned your gaze to Lisa to search for an answer.

“What did you do?”

A faint foreboding sat in the back of your mind and you prayed that you were wrong.

“I made our relationship public last night.”

Lisa stated nonchalantly and your mouth fell open in shock.

“You did what?”

You asked in disbelief, considering whether your girlfriend and Jennie were just pulling a prank on you.

“It’s all over the news already and YG has called a million times.”

Jisoo suddenly remarked as she was walking into the bedroom too, followed by Chaeyoung closely behind.

“Um... congrats for finally being free?”

The latter stammered with a lopsided grin and Lisa chuckled next to you.

“What if you get fired??”

You couldn’t understand how your girlfriend could be so calm right now and already started picturing the worst scenarios in your head.

“So be it.”

Lisa shrugged and you felt like fainting of excitement.

“Don’t worry, Y/N. Lisa is too valuable for YG.”

Jisoo tried to cheer you up, but she didn’t have much success.

Therefore, Lisa laid her hand on yours, making you look at her.

“Don’t worry, babe. I’ve thought about this. This was the only option for me. So I will accept the consequences, no matter what they might be.”

She looked confident in her decision, nevertheless, you wished that she wouldn’t have risked her career for you.

Suddenly the doorbell rang and all of you looked at each other knowingly. This could only be one of their managers.

Lisa flashed you one last encouraging smile before climbing off the bed to open the door.

You weren’t able to understand their words, but you heard that someone was talking agitatedly with your girlfriend and her members in the living room. A few minutes later, Lisa opened the door and sat beside you on the bed again.

“I’m sorry about this. But would you be willing to go to the company with me? YG wants to talk with us.”

She asked apologetically, while stroking a few strands of hair out of your face.

You gulped, not knowing what to expect, but nodded, nevertheless.

Together you got ready in a few minutes and sat in the car with the other members on your way to the YG headquarters a little later. You clasped Lisa’s hand tightly and she soothingly ran her thumb across the back of your hand.

There was a huge crowd of paparazzi in front of the YG building and you were glad that they sneaked you in through the back. Nevertheless, it seemed like everyone was staring at you and you wondered how Lisa managed to hold herself this strong. There wasn’t a sign of nervousness in her face and she held your hand confidently while strutting to the elevator that would bring you to the top management level of the building.

All of you walked straight to the CEO office where the executive board was sitting and staring at you sternly. Lisa squeezed your hand and you slid a little behind her.

“I’m guessing you know why you’re here?”

One of them asked and Lisa stepped forward a bit.

“Yes. It’s about me going public with my relationship.”

She stated calmly, while confidently holding eye contact with her opposites.

“Good that you at least seem to know that this should have been a topic discussed with us first. Do you even know what you have done? Don’t you have respect for your members? This will cause Blackpink’s image to be destroyed. You may never recover from this and we have to end your contracts. Did you even consider that this would not only have consequences for you alone?”

The manager’s voice became louder with every word until it even cracked in the end.

Finally, Lisa showed signs of nervousness too. Insecurely she looked to her feet, seeming to have only realized now that she had dragged her members into this too. Apologetically she glanced to them from the side, but they were all smiling at her.

Suddenly Jisoo took a few steps forward too.

“With all due respect, but I think you’re wrong.”

She spoke and you looked at her with wide eyes, because you weren’t used to her talking back.

“The comments during the VLIVE and now on Twitter and Instagram have mostly been positive. The hashtags ‘loveislove’ and ‘lisahwaiting’ have been trending in several countries and Lisa has gained several hundreds of new followers.”

Jisoo stated and you looked at Lisa in surprise. You hadn’t expected the news to be taken so well by the public.

Lisa looked equally taken aback and when you looked to the executives again, you could see that they were speechless as well.

“If the backlash had been your only concern, I think that Lisa has done nothing wrong and we have no further things to discuss?”

Chaeyoung suddenly asked, taking Lisa and you completely by surprise again.

All of this support was simply overwhelming.

Still being dumbfounded, the management ended the meeting by explaining that they had several things to discuss before they would come back to you. So together you made your way out of the room.

As soon as you had closed the door behind you, all of you looked at each other before starting to squeal and falling into each other’s arms. You had made it. Lisa suddenly grabbed your neck and pulled you against her body, kissing you passionately on your lips. When the door of the conference room opened again and revealed the executive board, you quickly pushed Lisa away in embarrassment. But she only laughed and interlaced your fingers while walking back to the car.

“Were the comments really mostly positive?”

Lisa asked once you were all on your way back to the dorm again and Jisoo nodded with a smile.

“Yeah, look.”

She pulled out her phone and showed you several memes that their fans had already made that were all showing support.

A wide grin spread on Lisa’s face and she laid her arm around your shoulder, pulling you closer to her. She kissed the top of your head and you sighted in relief.

After three years you finally didn’t have to hide anymore.

“Let’s go grab some ice cream.”

Lisa suggested happily and no one in the car was opposed to that.

You looked at your girlfriend and her eyes were sparkling like never before.

A warm feelilng spread in your body and it felt like the two of you had finally made it through winter.

Together.

This is Volume 11 in the series Toho SFX Movies Authentic Visual Book.

From the Introduction: “Toho SFX Movies Authentic Visual Book is a series focused exclusively on one character (mainly one monster) from one work, which is edited into one volume every time. Large pictures of the character make it possible for readers to enjoy the texture, subtlety of the design and design details of the character. In the meantime, as there have been a lot of books written on the description of each work, such description in this book is limited to a minimum amount.

“The Godzilla of this book is the Kaijyu (their spelling) which appeared in ‘Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah Giant Monsters All-out Attack’ (2001). We hope you enjoy Godzilla’s design with these snapshots and still pictures taken when they shot the film.”

These books are sold through the Godzilla store (http://godzilla.store) for about $12 USD, although I haven’t tried to see if they ship to the USA. There are outlets in the States that sell these books, and I got the several volumes I own at conventions (remember those?) for about $20-$25.00 a piece.

Each book is 32 pages long, 8 1/2″ by 11 1/2″, and filled with numerous photos from Toho’s own vault, most of which have never published before. The latest volume is #68 (!) which focuses on Godzilla 1973 aka the version from Godzilla vs Megalon.

The volume pictured above is the first I purchased because it focuses on GMK’s Godzilla, which is my favorite Godzilla design. About half of the photos in the book depict the film’s battle between Godzilla and Baragon. I’d’ve scanned more pictures from the book for illustration, but there are very specific copyright warnings in the book, and we all know how litigious Toho can be.

Highly recommend getting these books if you can. The detail and BTS shots are so good that it’s the next best thing to actually being on set.

Bungeoppang: A NamSeok Drabble

Title: Bungeoppang

A series of snapshots of teacher Hoseok's daily life as he keeps track of idol group Bangtan & waits for his boyfriend's return. Written for BTS Foodie Fest.

SNIPPET

The train finally empties enough that Hoseok is able to find a seat. His feet have been aching after a long day of teaching and running down third graders, but it leaves him immensely satisfied as he takes the long ride home. There's nothing he'd rather be doing more.

He pulls his phone out and opens Instagram first. Immediately a picture of a handsome idol holding a bungeoppang is at the top of his feed. RM, leader of the 6 member group Bangtan, is proudly displaying his fish-shaped treat in front of the Olympic Stadium. Jimin is riding Jungkook piggy-back style in the background and it looks like being chased by V. Seokjin is leaning into the frame opposite RM throwing up a peace sign. "Tour starts tonight! Will we see you there?" says the caption.

Hoseok smiles fondly and likes the picture. He leaves a little comment: "Fighting!" with a purple heart emoji. He stares at the picture a little longer admiring RM's smile with the dimple making an appearance. The rapper looks so happy and it fills Hoseok's heart. The group's journey has been a long one, and it's really amazing that they are going on a sold out stadium tour. It's everything they deserve.

After he's had his fill, Hoseok closes the app and opens his KKT clicking on the contact "jagiya."

Hobi: Have fun tonight. I'm so proud of you.

He doesn't wait for a response before calmly tucking the phone back into his pocket and looking up to judge how many more stops he has. By the time he gets home, he'll have just enough time to make something to eat and go to bed. Then he has to get up early tomorrow morning and do it all again.

Does Run ep 119 fall into the period of Jikook's romantic separation/distancing you talked about? By hairstyles I think this is the time you marked as being 'not a couple'? Did I get the timelines right? Please dont get mad, but they seemed especially cozy+close this ep, and not just skinship (I know this is a subjective judgement and dif points of view are allowed). Just curious if you still hold to your theory? We see only tiny snapshots of time. Do you ever retrospectively change your mind?

Ahhh shit! Too late. lol.

First of all, it's not so much that questions like these irk me...

It's just I've never had to worry about being 'right' or 'wrong' in forming an opinion about anything or on any topic in my life.

I think the night is more beautiful than the day. I think both Trump and Biden are trash- but better Biden than Trump. I think formal education is a damn waste of time and money. I think a lot of things. But I've never had to worry about that I could be right or wrong about them.

I never assume, when I read people's opinions too, that they are right or wrong. I either tend to agree with it or disagree with it or get informed by it if I had zero opinion prior. I find it bizarre when people want to be right and stuff- especially in a community that is nothing but a swirling vortex of thoughts and opinions. Lmho.

You either defend your stand and give evidence to support it but even then we are just all making assumptions.

Also questions like these tend to put me in a position where I feel like if I should respond then I am not only 'defending' my opinions but challenging other's opinions with my opinions and treating my opinions as if they were the facts. But they are not. It's just one opinion against another.

Know what I mean?

I used to be comfortable doing that because I thought it was all friendly debates and discourse until someone drew my attention to it and pointed out to me that when I do that I come across as 'all knowy,' 'presenting my opinions as facts' and 'challenging other's opinions with my opinion'- which y'all are well aware is the case that has launched a thousand hate comments, privacy invasion, doxing, lies and operation boycott Goldy on ship street.

I don't think it's worth it.

Then there is the substantive issue: how these questions are framed. How should I put this...

I never said anywhere that Jikook were broken up during the On era because they were not acting 'cozy'. Who's theory is that? Who said that? I've never peddled the 'Jikook is real because of skinship or their interactions' theory. If anything, I try to distinguish between Jikook's couple moments and their skinship or mere interactions because neither of those two make Jikook real... to me.

If Jikook showing skinship and merely interacting with eachother to you is a determining factor as to whether they are real- it's not, to me. I've made this much clear over the course of my blogs. If it's your metric then it differs from mine and I can't 'challenge' it. Lol.

I have said, Jikook can interact zero in a content and I still could be able to tell if they are a couple.

Similarly, two people can grind on eachother and stick their tongues down eachother's throats and I still will be able to tell they are not a couple within the same group if they are not.

Am I wrong sometimes? Absolutely. Hell, I said JK was going to post for Jimin's birthday. He didn't. I got that wrong.

I do retrospectively change my mind on a lot of things. If say, in the future, Jimin announced he has a kid and is married to a het woman I would backpedal on my theory that Jikook is real. I don't think it's that deep.

If at any one point, I have reason to believe Jikook aren't together any more as a couple within BTS, or that one of them is straight, I would change my opinion about them being in a gay relationship with eachother.

Similarly, if I have reason to believe Jikook have broken up or distanced themselves from eachother at one point, I would say so and not run around the internet yelling Jikook gay, Jikook married.

There are moments, when I thought Jikook were together but they weren't and so I had to change my mind in retrospect too.

It seems to me, that to y'all, as long as I'm saying Jikook are together then I'm right and it's Amen preach but if I say I think they are or were not together at a point in their relationship then suddenly it's, she is a Trump supporter spreading lies about Jikook and dancing in the rain with convicted serial killers while trying to pass off her published work as Jikook fanfiction. It's all very interesting how some people's minds work...

For the record, I said Jikook were broken up within that period because they were not claiming eachother, reassuring eachother, exercising rights of claim and authority, speaking eachothers love language and all the other metrics I have time and again pointed out several times across my posts that they are the qualities that to me make Jikook a couple.

So do you see why I feel some kind of way when people come at me with the, 'they stared at eachother' 'they smiled at eachther' they touched eachother' argument? Y'all must have me confused a certain shipper on the block. Lol.

You tell me they look cozy and intimate, but then I go and check and they are still not claiming eachother or exhibiting any of the qualities that makes them a couple. Lol.

If I say Jikook is in a relationship, it's usually because I have reasons to believe they are in a relationship. If I say Jikook are not together, it's also because I have reasons to believe they are not together. It's really not hard maths.

I forego a lot of sleep to ensure I share my thought process on a lot of my theories and opinions. I have shared across several posts why I believe Jikook is real. I have shared a few of the metrics I use to decide on that opinion and I have shared my thought process on why I believe in certain moments they aren't together.

It's exhausting when I have to repeat that process each time because then it's not about you asking for my opinion on the topic anymore because I've already stated that, it's about you asking me to change my opinion on a topic based on your assessment and your metric and it just doesn't work that way.

Your assertion that Run 119 was filmed in the same era as On is valid I guess... but I have to disagree. I can't tell you exactly when that episode was filmed but if I had to share my two cents on it, I'd have to place it towards the middle of April this year or somewhere around that period. In my opinion.

I say that because Jimin debuted his jet black hair around 14th April when he appeared in a Vlive with RM. Again I do not know exactly when he got his hair changed but as of March 26th, he had blondish hair.

In his March 30th Vlive- the one where JK interrupted Jin's call, he had a cap on so chilee I'm not gonna argue on whether he had dyed his hair at that point or not.

Then there is Suga, who has blonde hair in this Run 119 episode. He had blonde hair from his birthday in early March and tweeted a bunch of photos of himself in blonde hair from March through to April 28th.

Yet in the JinMinGi Vlive on April 27th when Jimin still had jet black hair, Suga seemed to have a jet black hair too. Which means he could have had blonde hair around the time Jimin went black in early April and dyed it black in late April- but that's theory and that's just my assumption. We can know for sure if and when knew content is released which was filmed around that period.

Thus, I doubt if it was filmed during On era like episode 116 and 117- where you could see clearly, Jikook were having issues.

Just because a peice of content is released in succession don't mean they were filmed around the same period...

So yes I agree with you, we only see snapshots of their time and most importantly we see them in DISORDER. BigHit doesn't release content in chronological order as per when they film them- something I keep reiterating throughout my blogs.

And just as a tip for when you want to reconstruct the timeline for accuracy based on their hairstyles, I think you should look to their Live contents and not their prerecorded content. Their VLives and Youtube lives- actual lives not the prerecorded ones passed off as live streams lol, or even their live reactions to when they win awards or do interviews etc.

I think those are a somewhat accurate reflection of the timeline and helps fit contents in their right time period. But even that- it's still 60/40. But that's me. Feel free to use your own metric to access the timeline.

And the part about them seeming cozy within- On Era, I assume? Because that's when I speculated they had a break up?

I wasn't going to address it because it requires me to provide a comprehensive reconstruction of the timeline but I can't do that until a few more years from now when BigHit has released all or most of the content they have on that period.

I'm just gonna have to repeat myself, for the n>th time though and be intentionally vague about it lol - I had decided not to talk about that period again but I have to just because you make it sound like I would go full on frying pan wielding JK on your ass, step for step, for pointing out that Jikook seemed cozy and intimate within that speculated breakup period. Chilee, I'm not a villain. Lol.

I will not whoop your ass for saying that- but you'd have to answer a seven page query if you are an avid reader of my blogs, so clear your schedule. It's gonna be a long day. Lol.

Query: How do you expect Jikook to look like and behave if and when they are not together together?

I keep saying, at the bare minimum, Jikook are friends not enemies. You don't expect them to act like they never knew eachother during such times. But it takes a while for them to settle into that space when they both feel comfortable with being friends and during such period is when you notice them putting up emotional boundaries and distance between them.

Maybe its just because I saw Jikook as friends and got used to them as friends before lovers and so spotting when they are acting as friends comes easy to me? I don't know.

I think it's similar to how people who are used to seeing Jikook as friends can't seem to see past their friendship to seeing them as a couple.

Then there are those who've only known Jikook to be a couple or saw them as a couple first upon entering the fandom and so can't seem to see them as friends or even think of them as friends. It can be a trip for such people. Which one are you?

If you see Jikook as lovers all the time, really I don't. And I don't need the tensions and the silences to sense something is off. JK unable to check RM or anyone within the group when they are crossing boundaries with Jimin is enough tell.

Same way I don't need to the skinship and 'cosy' to tell if they are together. Jk putting up emotional distance with certain members within the group- all but Jimin, is enough evidence for me.

We don't have to all see Jikook through the same lens to enjoy them. And we don't have to agree on everything too.

We are different people, with different backgrounds and experiences. We can't think the same or perceive on things the same.

I keep saying, to me, there is a quality to Jikook that makes them more than friends. If I see those qualities in them, I believe they are a couple. If not, they are not. Those are the qualities I see only between Jikook and what set them apart from the other ships in BTS.

I see their friendship and I also see their other stuff.

And I notice, during certain periods that they lose that quality that makes them couples- for them to be a couple they need to be speaking eachothers love language, exercising certain rights and privileges over each other, claiming eachother, reassuring eachother yadda yadda yadda and a whole others that don't include them merely talking to eachother or engaging in skinship.

When I talk about Jikook On Era break up period, I'm talking about the period from the 21st to 28th February this year- or the period right before it.

Thats the period I noticed a drastic change in Jikook's interactions and even their personalities. It gave me the feeling that jikook had been through something heavy prior to that date. That period seemed more like the aftermath of a break up rather than the beginning of it as there seemed to be a drastic flip in their dynamics compared to any era before that. Especially late December or around the period when they filmed Carpool Karaoke.

They weren't doing any of the things I've mentioned above that to me make them a couple- they were just interacting and pretty much being civil- except for JK. He seemed more angry, less tolerant and very assertive against Jimin and the group.

He was being super self assertive and was asserting himself even against Jimin- something he has been doing a lot this year which I keep talking about.

Jimin didn't seem different to me at all to me in that period until April.

Why do I feel you are forcing me to talk about something I don't want to talk about? Lol.

I mark that period as significant not only because of the changes that took place in Jikook's dynamics but because it marks the genesis of the JK we are experiencing today.

Their interactions within that period were reflective of a consistent pattern of behavior they've exhibited around periods when they are not together- JK putting up boundaries, not claiming JM, JM trying to reconnect etc.

For instance, at Music Bank on the 28th of February, Jimin did that thing with Jin when he noticed JK interacting with Tae but JK didn't mind him or claim.

Contrast that with their moment on the 1st March, at Inkigayo, where JK literally teleported his ass to stand behind JM when he noticed JM had started his shenanigans on the stage.

Jikook started claiming eachother and acting as a couple again from then- they started reassuring eachother and doing all these things that to me mark them as a couple. Again, this is only an assumption, I don't have the comprehensive breakdown of the period- yet because there are new contents being released on a daily.

On 6th March, during Music Bank when Hobi hugged Jimin during their interview JK reacted strongly to that too in my opinion.

On 30th March, JK interrupted Jin's call to flirt and ask JM on a date- you could see them acting as a couple from that moment at Inkigayo on 1st March throughout to 30th March and their interactions were consistent.

Their interactions in the period before that was pretty much inconsistent and filled with a lot of Jump cuts- which I'm hoping future contents will help fill the gaps for me so I can build a comprehensive breakdown of that era- at least for my self. Iol.

It's just the way Jikook usually behave after these period. They go through a reconnection phase, where they constantly try reassure eachother and then eventually end up in a honey moon phase of a sort where you'd see them flirting up and down the hills, acting super touchy, hitting the red marks- making us and the others feel weird and super uncomfortable watching them.

It's also important to note that around the period of them reconnecting, JK had started distancing himself from Tae. He puts up emotional boundaries with the others and closes himself off to them when he opens himself up to Jimin.

I mean if I'm 'wrong,' and I'm not saying I'm right, I'm just saying if I'm wrong because of your two seconds clip of them acting 'cozy,' then I gotta ask what happened to JK in this period? Why was he putting up boundaries between him and Jimin in that period, and what set him on this self assertive path he's been on throughout this year- think about that while I hold on to my he went through a nasty breakup and had an emotional trauma that pushed him on a path to reevaluate and set his priorities straight theory. Lol

I think some of the content they have released so far within that period were filmed either closer to or far from when that break up happened- Run 116 and 117 would be the closest to that period so far- I just don't know if it was before 21st February or after it.

Run 100 and 101 would also have been filmed relatively closer to that period or immediately after it because Jimin was behaving in those Runs the same way he was behaving during the On Comeback Special VLive which was released on 21st of February- I feel the breakup would happened before this date.

In both those Runs and the On comeback special, Jimin seemed beat, humbled and subdued. He was trying to establish eye contact with JK during the comeback VLive, egging him on to talk about his looks, and putting boundaries between him and the other members. He seemed to be on his best behavior.

For instance, in the Comback he seemed like he was walking on eggshells around Kookie and didn't want to create the impression he was going out of his way to flirt with the others or portray himself as available and so when Suga touched his waist or back, he asked him to stop.

Similary, in Runs 100/101 behind scenes or something, when they were eating and he noticed Tae had food residue on his lips, he tried to help him clean it but panicked and stopped the moment he sensedJK lifting his head up- it seemed he didn't want to piss JK off in those two instances. JK for the most part just seemed serious and less tolerant of JM's bs within that period.

Juxtapose JM's behavior in these two instances with the events at Music Bank and Inkigayo where he was hugging Jin and acting extra around Kook- which to me seemed like he was looking for reassurance by trying to get JK to claim him but of course JK didn't do that.

Jimin likes being reassured by JK when he is feeling 'insecure.' And often, JK reassures him when he notices JM going through that. Jimin does the same for JK.

They are intune with eachother's emotional needs and they consciously go out of their way to meet them.

Take the recent MAMA speech moment when JM was giving a speech and he seemed like he need support- emotional support and back up. Jk turn fully and instantly towards him to let him know he was there for him. We've seen Jikook do this a countless times. I value these moments over them showing skinship or screaming eachother's names.

In the recent BE press conference red carpet moment when JM tried it with RM- did you notice JK's reaction? They both seemed like they were trying to piss eachother other off or make each eachother jealous during that red carpet moment.

JM with RM and JK with Jin. JK grabbed Jin's neck when he noticed JM intentionally acting all up close and friendly with his buddy buddy RM and the frown on his face. He didn't seem too amused with JM doing that...

- it's weird, I know, but it's also their way of reassuring eachother and expressing interest in eachother. Don't judge. It's Jikook- just look away, keep it pushing. Nothing to see here. Lol.

Had it not been for the live events around that On period, I probably wouldn't have noticed these things because the content from BigHit around the period were only showing glimpses of their interactions which again seemed like the aftermath of their breakup and not the start of it.

I think their ability to get to that space where they are each comfortable with relating freely and 'cozy' around eachother as friends depends on how soon they interact on cameras after they've gone through such periods.

If they film immediately soon after, or during, often the tension between them is much more evident like in run 116 and 117.

If they film much later from it, then you wouldn't even notice a damn thing at all. In my opinion. Especially, if you don't know the difference between Jikook as friends and Jikook as lovers.

You can never tell though if you focus solely on Jimin's behavior during such periods- because Jimin is just that guy. He doesn't bring the drama to work. He will smile sunshine through the pain and act like nothing happened. For JK it's different, in my opinion.

Jimin has a very high emotional intelligence quotient and seems to process emotions better and faster. JK is not like that. It is why I feel, he tends to put up physical and emotional barriers with Jimin and with the others sometimes when he is going through it.

They all process emotions at different paces. In my opinion.

I'm starting to wonder if y'all think Jikook is one sided at this point. Lol. Jikook is not one sided. Jimin is not the only one in their relationship. You can't focus on him alone to decide if your ship is sailing or in a good place- because guess what? Jimin can put up a show of it.

It's just as how Tuktukkers tend to focus on Tae rather than JK in determining whether they still have a ship or not. If they paid attention to JK for one minute, they would know their ship got lost at sea at debut.

I keep saying JM's 'the boy in love with Jungkook' persona is a facade. He loves JK through this facade but you have to look past it. I mean this is the guy who told Jin JK doesn't act a certain way around him, but backpedaled and said he was just 'saying it for content' when Jin called him out on it. Same guy Jk says, he intentionally acts cutes when he notices the cameras on him.

You gotta wonder what else he does just for content and for the cameras. Isn't this why people claim Jikook is fanservice?

You have to pay attention to JK too you know? They have different personalities, different ways of handling issues, different ways of loving and different ways of solving problems.

Jimin over expresses himself and tries to establish contact when he is at the recieving end of a freeze out. He did the same thing on stage with JK during Manila when he tried to have a conversation with Kook- to squash whatever issues they had been having but JK needed his space physically and emotionally.

Jimin was sat next to Suga chatting with him, asking him questions, laughing with him but the moment Suga touched him he snapped. He did the same thing in Dynamite MV reaction VLive when JK teased him with Suga. He snapped almost instantly and didn't seem happy with it- he doesn't want to be shipped with Suga and yet he is the one constantly going 'I miss Suga hyung' 'Suga and I are the parents and JK is the son"

In run 116, you could see him trying to interact with Kook even when Kook was clearly putting up boundaries with him. Had Kook not been closed off to him in that moment, we probably would never have noticed anything was off with them honestly.

And that hug JM gave Kook in the end, did you see him looking sideways as if he was doing something wrong? Compare that moment with the Siriux FM interview where he had his hands around Kook. He didn't seem- what's the word, scared.

And by the way, that moment was also filmed on the 21st of February in the US, the same day of their Rockefeller interview and the same day the On Comeback Special VLive was released- so do the maths? Was that the start of a break up or the aftermath of it?

Jimin was leaning forward in that period true, but was JK receiving and reciprocating his actions and matching them throughout that period? No. Or may be its debatable- you tell me. Lol.

Jikook behave in a certain way and give off a certain vibe when they are good and sailing- but not all such moments is because they are a couple. In my opinion.

When they get to that good space where they can be comfortable around each other, they sail as friends too.

It's just like, when they are not good and they give off bad vibes. But not all the bad vibes they give off is because they are not good. Know what I mean?

It's all up to how you perceive them and how much you understand of their dynamics I guess.

It is my understanding that, JK opens up to certain other members within the group while simultaneously putting up boundaries with Jimin when he is having serious problems with Jimin. From my observation of their interactions.

So I ask, within the period of 21st February to 28th, was he leaning towards this certain member he was suddenly BFFs with around the time of their break up or was he leaning away from him? He literally teleported away from him to be next to Jimin when they were getting back together and Tae didn't seem amused by that either.

It's Jikook, I get it. I think you need to pay attention to the way they interact with the other members within the group too? Because that's equally telling. Sigh.

It is my understanding that, Jimin is quick to anger yet quick to forgive and he sometimes glosses over things, puts a lot of energy and efforts into embellishing his relationship with Kook and presenting them as the perfect duo and the perfect relationship- which is something that I think psychologically induces the Kumbaya in a lot of Jikook shippers and influences them into thinking their relationship is perfect and kumbaya. But that's another topic for another day.

JK makes Jikook more real. To me.

I hear often, people talk about how Jimin is less touchy than JK and has personal boundaries within the group and how over the years, he has toned down on his touchiness with the other members because JK puts up a lot of boundaries for him around the members with the frying pans and what not, and would fume whenever Jimin or anyone crosses those boundaries...

But have y'all ever wondered the kind of boundaries Jimin put up for JK within the group and expects JK to uphold within the group when they are together? Hint: It's not JK's touchiness or lack of boundaries. Y'all be connecting the wrong dots. Lol.

Jk puts up physical boundaries for Jimin because that is important to him. Jimin put up emotional boundaries for JK because that is important to him. They overlap sometimes but those times are insignificant to me.

Jk's certain bonds suffer because of Jimin. And he stops respecting those boundaries when he and Jimin are no longer together and the moment they are back together, he puts those boundaries up again with those bonds- this is Morse code, if you catch on message me with it. Wink.

JM throwing his arms around Kook during a serious interview is not him claiming JK or reassuring him. JK yelling Jimin to the power Z is not him exercising right of authority over Jimin- lovers do that. Know who else does that? FRIENDS. Lol.

It's nothing Hobi doesn't do with JM or the other ships don't do.

Listen, I saw all the good bits and things that you saw in that period too and still I formed my opinion on that era the way that I did and have. And the new content from that era, Run 116 and 117 all follow the same pattern of behavior I noticed around that period and have talked about. So no, my view on that era hasn't changed.

Unless, your objective is to have me change my mind based on the 'wrong' timeline dots you've connected, then we would just have to agree to disagree. Lol.

If you believe Jikook were together during that period, I agree to disagree on it. Feel free to disagree with my opinion too.

Always ship Jikook in the way that makes sense to you. And support them while you are at it. Jikook is real. Bless you.

Hi Newbie Anon, welcome to the lido deck. Here we drink a lot, smoke ‘em if ya got ‘em, pontificate, ponder, point fingers, laugh our asses off on a regular basis, (it wonderfully covers for the squats we don’t do) sometimes make comments that seem random, vague or much deeper then they were intended, form conga lines, squee, share snapshots, tweets, texts, PR, insanely bad PR, or just whatever takes our fancy that day, that hour or that moment.

I believe you will find that we are an intelligent bunch, who really take almost next to nothing at face value. We LOVE scrutinizing even the most innocuous of things. Tend to disagree on unimportant things from time to time, roll our eyes a lot and know that while we all may be a bit crazed from time to time, none of us are delusional.

Traditionally, on Cait’s birthday, we get assorted tweets from the main players, and associated interested parties, who may or may not say something of interest. Sometimes, they include BTS pictures that are VERY interesting.

Closer Look at the ASUSTOR AS4004T AS4004T is a 4-bay device that has ABS plastic shell with an aluminum frame on the inside. The color of the entire shell is black however the frame is painted silver. On the front of the device, there are two buttons, one for power and one for copying to the NAS from an external source. AS4004T also has a set of front-facing LEDs which show the hard drive and network activities. In addition to buttons and LEDs, there is a single USB 3.0 connection in the front for any external devices you may want to use. There are no ventilation holes on either side of the device. AS4004T is not completely square as it has a stylish pop-up design on both sides of the device. To gain access to the hard drives you would need to remove the front bezel which is magnetically attached to the case. To keep AS4004T on the flat surfaces Asustor glues four rubber pads on the bottom of the enclosure. At the bottom of the device there are air intake slots. AS4004T is actively cooled by a 120mm fan. On the back of the device, there is one USB 3.0 Connector, one 10GbE jack, 2 1Gbe jacks, a power connector, and a Kensington security port. To remove hard drive sleds, you need to operate a small lever in the front of the drive and pull it out. The drive sleds do not require any tools or screws to install drives in them. Hard drives are being held by a pair of clips.

AS4004T is very well packaged and grounded. As you can see from the pictures the entire shell is grounded in multiple places. I don’t think I have ever seen this much grounding tape on a device like this. The motherboard is extremely clean and has no over fluxing spots or excess of soldering on the components. The CPU and 10GbE controllers are passively cooled by a pair of aluminum heatsinks. On the back of the board, I found a metal cage that is soldered on. Daughter board which connected the drives to the motherboard is extremely clean as well. Here are some of the chips I found on in AS4004T.

The CPU of this device is by Marvell, Armada 7K Dual-core ARMv8 Cortex-A72 Embedded Processor (88F7020-A2).

The 10GbE controller is also by Marvell, Alaska Single 10GBase-T/NBase-T Ethernet Controller (88x3310-BUS4).

AS4004T has 2 GB of RAM by Samsung, DDR4 Ram Modules (K4A8G16 5WB BCRC). These are soldered on and cannot be upgraded.

Marvell USB 3.0 Controller (RTS5412) supports the two USB 3.0 connectors in AS4004T.

The 1Gbps connection is supported by (2x) Marvell Energy Efficient Ethernet Controllers (88E1512-NNP2).

The Disk On Module (DOM) is supported by Toshiba Memory (QA3554).

The Disk On Module controller is by SiliconMotion, USB 2.0 Dual Channel Flash Controller (SM3252q BB). A Single port Mellanox Connectx-2 PCI-Express x 8 10GbE Ethernet Network Server Adapter network card was installed in the test system. Asustor AS4004T in all RAID arrays used a Single Static Volume. SFP-10G-T-S (10GbE) adapter was used for all 10GbE benchmarks. Network Layout For all tests, the NAS was configured to use a single network interface. Network cards were used to test 1Gbps (copper) and 10 Gbps (SFP+) connections. For 1Gbps connection one CAT 6 cable was connected to the MikroTik CRS317-1G-16S+RM from the NAS and one CAT 6 cable was connected to the workstation from the switch. Testing was done on the PC with only 1 network card active. For 10Gbps connection one Cat 6 cable was connected to MikroTik CRS317-1G-16S+RM from the NAS and one Fiber 10Gb cable was connected to the workstation from the switch. The switch was cleared of any configuration. Jumbo frames were used (9000 MTU) on the workstation, NAS and the switch. Network drivers used on the workstation are 5.50.14643.1 by Mellanox Technologies. (Driver Date 8/26/2018) (10GbE adapter) and 9.15.11.0 by Intel (Driver Date 10/14/2011) Software All testing is done based off a single client accessing the NAS. Both of the software were installed on the RAM Drive by ImDisk Virtual Disk Driver. Crystal Disk Mark is an old favorite disk benchmarking software which we have used for many years. It provides us with useful information on read and write speeds of the targets. You can get your own free copy right here. ATTO Disk Benchmark gives a good insights on the read and write speeds of the drive. In our tests, we used it against the "share" on the NAS. ATTO Disk Benchmark could be download right here. All tests were run a total of three times then averaged to get the final result. RAID 0,5 and 10 were tested for 1GbE and 10GbE connections. Tests were run after all the RAID arrays were fully synchronized. RAID Information

Images courtesy of Wikipedia JOBD or Just a Bunch Of Disks is exactly what the name describes. The hard drives have no actual raid functionality and are spanned at random data is written at random. RAID 0 is a stripe set and data is written across the disks evenly. The advantage of RAID 0 is speed and increased capacity. With RAID 0 there is no redundancy and data loss is very possible. RAID 1 is a mirrored set and data is mirrored from one drive to another. The advantage of RAID 1 is data redundancy as each piece of data is written to both disks. The disadvantage of RAID 1 is write speed is decreased as compared to RAID 0 due to the write operation is performed on both disks. RAID 1 capacity is that of the smallest disk. RAID 10 combines the 1st two raid levels and is a mirror of a stripe set. This allows for better speed of a RAID 0 array but the data integrity of a RAID 1 array. RAID 5 is a stripe set with parity. RAID 5 requires at least 3 disks. Data is striped across each disk, and each disk has a parity block. RAID 5 allows the loss of one drive without losing data. The advantage to RAID 5 is read speeds increase as the number of drives increase but the disadvantage is write speeds are slower as the number of drives is increased. There is overhead with RAID 5 as the parity bit needs to be calculated and with software

RAID 5 there is more of a performance hit. RAID 6 expands on RAID 5 by adding an additional parity block to the array that is distributed across all the disks. Since there are two parity blocks in the array more overhead is used with a RAID 6 array. For a full breakdown of RAID levels, take a look at the Wikipedia article here. RAID configurations are a highly debated topic. RAID has been around for a very long time. Hard drives have changed, but the technology behind RAID really hasn’t. So what may have been considered ideal a few years ago may not be ideal today. If you are solely relying on multiple hard drives as a safety measure to prevent data loss, you are in for a disaster. Ideally, you will use a multi-drive array for an increase in speed and lower access times and have a backup of your data elsewhere. I have seen arrays with hot spares that had multiple drives fail and the data was gone. Following Benchmarks were performed via 1GbE connectivity. Raid 0 1Gbps Raid 10 1Gbps Raid 5 1Gbps Following Benchmarks were performed via 10GbE connectivity. Raid 0 10Gbps Raid 10 10Gbps Raid 5 10Gbps Conclusion and Final Thoughts There is a lot to Asustor AS4004T than just a pretty outer shell. When we review hardware here at Modders-Inc we really get down into performance and statistics of a device and AS4004T treatment was no different. For the short time that I had with AS4004T, I have tested and used this device as I would any other NAS on my network. Moving large files and installing software from Asustor App Central was easy and straight forward. I have experience with ADM so it was easy for me to navigate. ADM is easy to work with as everything is intuitive and straight forward. Asustor AS4004T is powered by Marvell Armada 7K Dual Core Embedded processor and while using the device I have noticed CPU activity times in upper 70-80% while transferring large files across the network. Based on the benchmarks and the data they have produced AS4004T should be able to push data much faster while using 10GbE connectivity. At times it felt like the Armada 7K CPU had a difficult time keeping up with the Alaska 10GbE controller. Working with 1Gbps connection I saw no issues lag or choking.

ADM software which drives AS4004T is powerful and flexible and comes with App Central plugin through which you can install and manage a decent number of applications. Most of the applications are open sourced however, some are not such as Surveillance Center for your home IP Cam Security. Right now, Asustor AS4004T retails for about $ 360 USD and I think that is a fair price considering similar units sell for about the same. Asustor also has a two-bay unit, AS4002T for about $ 250 USD. So, if you are looking for a 10GbE NAS, AS4004T is a pretty good and affordable device to have around for your daily file sharing activities. While not quite as fast as other 10-gigabit NAS devices we've tested, it certainly gets the job done. And with the 3-year warranty how can you go wrong? Read the full article
