Okay for the monch/ratatos things you mentioned I just have to know: does monch know that yucatan knows? Like do monch and ratatos think they're getting away with something or are monch and yucatan doing the marital affair version of letting a kid win at a video game to humor them?
Like "gosh honey I'm going to be out of town *all weekend* next week but I think your friend monch is in town why don't you two try to catch up a bit?" (Checked with monch beforehand to make coordinate schedules and make sure she was free)
First, little clarification. Yucatan is Sciurus Browntailās husband, not to be confused with Sciurusās sister Ratatos Browntail. I know when I started Break the Ice I thought Yucatan was married to Ratatos but that was clarified later.
As for the main question, I think Yucatan knew the whole time. I donāt think Sciurus is very subtle about it at all, I mean her sister does directly tell her to her face that sheās getting way too close to that Monch servant.
(As for not trusting anyone too much, letās just say she did not heed that advice)
Anyway. Only after the affair has been going on for a little while does he meet up with Monch 1-on-1 to tell her āhey I know youāve been fucking my wife, Iām cool with it. But you canāt let her know that I know or it wonāt be as fun for her.ā And then heād give her a schedule of when heāll be out of the way.
Monch would initially be disappointed that the her scheme with Madame Sciurus was discovered, but being Monch the offer of being in Yucatanās confidence and being involved in yet another layer of secret schemes thereās no way she could pass it up.
#monch#Sciurus#yucatan#arknights#yes Iām still on the butch lesbian Yucatan thing if you were curious#after the gnosis thing falls through they probably all come clean about it. maybe they let Yucatan watch or join in who knows

Talking with a friend about Monch from Kjerag and now I wanna ramble, let's go!!!
Ok, so Monch is a side character in the first event, and an even more minor character in the second. (I deeply want her as a decent 5* welfare next Kjerag event please I beg!)
She is Sciurus's most trusted confidant and companion. Despite secretly working for Gnosis (oh ill get to his fuck face in a sec) she genuinely works to help the Browntail clan and especially Sciurus. She grows pretty attached to her from what little we are allowed to see. That's made explicitly clear at the end of RS when her and Sciurus reunite.
In BI, she's working for Gnosis as an informant and spy. She places a ton of trust in him and his judgement,, but definitely begins to question things when she has to directly take action against the Browntail clan. Eventually, the smug prick outright betrays her and leaves her for dead essentially.
Now I could write an essay on why I genuinely dislike Gnosis and Silverash. They are well written, and I think they are written specifically to hate, so props to the story writers. But back to dear Monch.
Because of his devastating betrayal, she is forced to go into hiding. She even has to abandon Sciurus and goes no contact for a pretty lengthy period. That shit hurt to read.
They were so close as to be essentially better sisters than the actual browntail sisters. And yet, here she is having to dissappear because of a war monger and his dick wad of a bf.
Thankfully, in RS, we finally get to see them reunite near the end. It's not a very long moment, fuck I wish there was more, but it at least vrings them back together.
RS was full of moments I could stand and shout about for days, it's such a good event. This is one of those moments for me. Seeing them come back together and still have that same trust and care for one another.
Now, Sciurus is married (and iirc expecting a child?). But, idk, I simply can not see these two apart. And I think Yucatan absolutely understands that too. So yeah, I poly ship them.
Monch and Sciurus have a label of them in my head that says "DO NOT SEPERATE" and that's a rare thing in my ship addled mind.
I really really hope we get to see more of them next Kjerag trip, and even sweeter if she was a 5* welfare. I can cope and dream at least.
Anyway thanks for reading me ramble pointlessly again lmao
#arknights#sciurus browntail#monch#monch arknights#my ramblings#kjerag has a good few lesbians in its snowy boarders#Kjeragandr knew what she was doing jist saying#i need more art of these two always

Timberfall - solid dark brown tom with yellow eyes
Family: Browntail (father), Squirrelstep (mother), Acorntrail (younger brother), Hazelpath (younger sister) Gender / Sexuality: Tom / demisexualĀ Personality: serious, focused, determined, doesnt focus on status, thinks its a warrior's duty to help the clan Backstory: Solid warrior Timberfall made sure not to make waves as a younger warrior. Happy to lend a paw where needed, when he was a young warrior, the apprentice den was rather sparse, and he picked up some tasks that they didnt have time for. The clan was of course impressed with his willingness to still take on apprentice tasks, most young warriors would scoff, eager to finally be rid of the scent of mouse bile.Ā When Timberfall received his first apprentice, few were surprised at the apprentice's success. Since then, no more than a half moon went by when Timberfall didnt have an apprentice. Serial mentor, Timberfall was an obvious choice for deputy when Tansysprig finally wanted to retire to the nursery. He had a good clear head on his shoulders, and the clan sees his word as law. Its clear he will take over the clan once Branchstar passes, the leader already on his second last life, while Timberfall is still so young. Ideal Partner: someone who is v emotional abt everything, a cat who gossips would also be funny cuz hes not usually a gossiper, but could be goated, someone who he has to scold but yall are fucking so its lowkey awkward but funny Position | Clan: Deputy | Whisperclan
Wildshine - fluffy pale grey orange, and white calico shecat with sage green eyes
Family: Dustpatch (father), Palesky (mother), Bravesong (sister) Gender / Sexuality: shecat / pansexual - falls in love easilyĀ Personality: religious, smart, able to decipher signs from Starclan, *loves* her clan Backstory: Wildshine was born with Starclan in her eyes. She always saw her path glittering with the lights of the silverpelt. Its no surprise she was asking to be the medicine cat apprentice. Wildshine was first suggested to try out being a warrior apprentice. Despite excelling, Wildshine wanted to have a higher connection to Starclan, and to the medicine cat den she went. Apprentice to Marigoldfur, Wildshine has always had an admiration for the medicine cat position. Serious about her devotion to the clan, she canāt help but admire those who share her strong beliefs.Ā One of the best at interpretations, sometimes after a full moon visit to the cave with the other medicine cats, one or two may ask Wildshines mentor permission for her to come visit and talk about a confusing vision or help talk through a message.Ā Ideal Partner: a dif medicine cat, maybe a religious warrior, or someone from another clan Position | Clan: Medicine Cat Apprentice | Whisperclan
Sorrelpool - ginger shecat with white undercoat and vibrant eyes
Family: Flashwind (father), Emberpatch (mother), Ferncrunch (brother) Gender / Sexuality:Ā shecat / annoying Personality: annoying, chatty, eager, doesnt understand personal space, doesnt respect authority like she should, plays fast and loose with rules Backstory: Paired with the paternal loving leader, is his medicine cat, Sorrelpool. Sorrelpool was the energetic young apprentice to Frondwhisker. She was eager to learn all she could, finding friends in other clans easily thanks to her lack of respect for the borders. She was sort of becoming more mature, but no where near ready to do it on her own, when Frondwhiskerās age just caught up with him. The sweet den-dad vibes patient older tom, going grey at his muzzle, and the bright ginger fluffy tailed apprentice had been quite an amusing duo. Now Sorrelpool is on her own. She went to the crystal cave with the other medicine cats, and was named a full medicine cat by them, as her mentor had been unable to do so.Ā Since then, Starclan has begun showing Sorrelpool visions, and showing them the fates of her clan. Sheās so happy, energetic and excited, sometimes you forget that she could be acting like this because she knows itās someoneās last day. She can see a kits entire life the moment it is born.Ā She carries this with such light weight, often nuzzling with energy beside her calm and collected leader. They often seem like father and daughter with the way they act, some elder apprentices acting more mature than the medicine cat. Ideal Partner: young deputy chosen because of his bloodline, imagine young unqualified deputy, the leader is all ugh its fine, i can handle my shit, and then boom, he falls for the energetic chatty pinkie pie type medicine cat. Doomed. This would also be a cute character for moth/leaf, she gives serious moth vibes Position | Clan: Medicine Cat | Whisperclan

He's a huge asshole and he will languish in lv1 prison forever for his crimes.
I think he genuinely has good intentions but is completely incapable of going about them in a normal not-GoT way.
Exiling his own sister, cheating the Browntails out of the factory and trade benefits, it all worked out for him in the short term but deprives him of potential allies.
Especially when his greed alienated Ratatos, who otherwise might have worked together with him as a 2-1 majority in the Tri-Clan Council.
Enciodes didn't HAVE to launch the country into a civil war or assassinate priests, but I think he was too poisoned by intrigue-thinking to even imagine doing it in a peaceful way.
His theme (which is very good) makes it clear that there is nothing he would not do for the cause. Yet most of the problems would have been avoided if he just had been less of a asshole.
I love Silverash as a character. He's a wonderful villain. As a person, he absolutely sucks.
So what with the recent rerun of Break the Ice in arknights being my first introduction to...well everyone who was on there (lol I'm a new player), I'm kind of interested what the fandom's impression of Silverash is.
Personally, I hate him big time. Like, sure he's just doing what he thinks is best for the longevity of Kjerag as a state. But the means he utilizes are just downright deplorable. He reads more like a sociopath who's convinced that his goals are right and all plans he comes up with are necessary or "bitter pills" EVERYONE has to swallow.
Like I bet if you confronted him about manipulating the life of his sister to further his goals, he'd be all "we all must make sacrifices blah blah blah everyone has their role to play blah blah it was a necessary evil," that is if he even thinks of his actions as anything but righteous.
...okay this has officially become a Silverash rant. UGH I just hate him okay!! I needed an outlet.
Also fuck him and his gay bait bs with Gnosis.

Regarding the conflict in the latest Arknights event (spoilers or whatever).
I find it very interesting that based on what we see in the event, a lot of the conflict in the Silverash coup in Kjerag could have ultimately been avoided if Silverash was the kind of person to have honest conversations and to have partners rather than pawns in his plots.
For example, during their conversation in the burning house before Degenbrecher Kool Aid Mans her way in, it comes out that ironically, if he and Ratatos had an honest conversation before the entire thing happened at the very least the Browntails would have been onboard with their modernizations and that the Browntails were early supporters of his plans.
Like the whole point of the Edelweiss Manor scene is the incredible irony that neither Ratatos nor Enciodes actually *disagree* with modernizing Kjerag and opening up to the world, the Browntails just think that the Silverashes are selling off too many rights to foreign entities and the Silverashes think that the Browntails hit the limit to how much modernization they will tolerate. The point being, their entire conflict would have been resolved by an honest conversation, but ultimately neither Ratatos nor Enciodes are the kind of person who would *have* that honest conversation in the first place. Ratatos never brought her qualms with the method of the modernization to Enciodes; Enciodes never shared the reasoning behind the urgency of his plans with Ratatos.
Similarly, the conflict between Enya and Enciodes likely could have been averted if Enciodes had treated his sister as a partner and explained his motives to her, rather than as a pawn that he always intended to puppet, meaning that with a Saintess that *didn't* actively hate him the Paleroches wouldn't have actually made a fuss because Enya could have pushed the Great Elder out earlier and thrown the Vine-Bear Court's support behind modernization earlier.
Like that's the irony I see in Enciodes's character: he is clever, he is cunning, he has a vision of the future that he will do anything to achieve, but in doing so he ensures he only has pawns to deal with rather than partners. Even Gnosis, to an extent, is just a pawn during this event. I've seen analyses that frame Enciodes's fascination with the doctor as one seeing an intellectual peer, someone that is like him. This really adds to the parallelism because Enciodes isn't like playable Doctor--he's like pre-amnesia Doctor. Enciodes Silverash is a reflection of the Doctor's dark past, of treating everyone around him as disposable minions and acting with no honesty. Silverash and the Doctor are not just as intellectual equals, they are intellectual opposites as well.
And when they go head to head on the chessboard of Kjerag, the Doctor that can empathize and treat those around him as equals is able to in a single day stalemate the years of preparation that the Silverashes have had, empower the Karlan Saintess, rescue the sinking fortunes of the Paleroche and Browntail clans, and set up Kjerag for a modernization without the costly and damaging civil war that would have raged under Enciodes's plan and hampered any modernization plans.

There's some nice parallels between the Browntail sisters and the Silverash sisters that I wish I could put into words. Something about the younger sisters loyalty and support (even if Sciurus is a bit less elegant in expressing it) that reminds Enya and Ratatos who exactly they're supposed to be fighting for.

Thank you for your last critique! Iām very glad you liked it! I put my Warriors blog in my bio now
Im glad I was able to help! Letās see what we have next.
Iāll tell the story of Aquaclaw, my first character written.
Mouse was a kit born into the colony with her sisters, Rabbit and Spirit. Once she was old enough, Lake and her sisters were told to watch the kits and take them into the forest. While out, some hiking Twolegs found her and took her home.
Renamed, Aquamarine for her ice-blue eyes, she was raised along with their slightly older kitten, Brownie.
They were mistreated by their Twolegs, but mostly taken care of, until they found out that Aquamarine was having Brownieās kittens. They were both thrown back into the wild.
Oof its sad but not surprising, people can be... not great.
While out there, they met Lakefur, who took them back to her camp. Thatās when Aquamarine realized that was Lake. She then reunited with her family and went with them to create Harmonyclan.
She gave birth to 6 kittens and Browntail (Brownie) removed his collar. Aquaclaw (Aquamarine) did not. She asked for her name to come from her housecat name. Then named her firstborn Marinekit. Her other kittens were Redkit, Wolfkit, Foxkit, Floodkit, and Fuzzykit. She soon realized Fuzzykit was blind. After Cedarcloud was driven out after killing her daughter and half-blinding her son, Aquaclaw took him in. Lakestar, knowing of her kindness, asked her to be deputy, but she let the role go to her mate.
There is a lot to unpack there, wow, a story in itself in just those few sentences!
Life continued to get harder after Foxwhisker was killed by Cedarās son. Then her mate was killed in battle. And then, her friend Lakestar was killed by her own sister. After her deputies mysterious death overnight, an omen was found saying that Fuzzystorm shall be leader. He took the role and made Flinteye, his good friend whom his mother raised as his deputy and eventually one of his mates, although he didnāt truly love him.
Thatās when Marinepelt stood up against Fuzzystar, who brutally attacked him. Aquaclaw was never the same after her son was crippled and exiled. Distraught, she lashed out at Fuzzystar. He promptly took her life.
She then found out when Iām the afterlife, her uncle and the former deputy was killed by him and the omen was faked by Flinteye.
Poor Aquaclaw went through a lot in her life! It definitely sounds like the first few years for the these clans were also full of hardship.Ā

And he could have done it without plunging the country into a civil war.
If he hadn't scammed the Browntails out of all the trade and factory profits like he did when they supported his modernization efforts, he and Ratatos would had a majority vote in the Tri-Clan Council.
If he had say down with Ratatos and you know, communicated BEFORE she felt like she had to sacrifice her own life to kill him before he actually became the dictator of Kjerag that he was trying to become, they would have had a majority vote on the Tri-Clan Council.
If he had not exiled his sister to a mountaintop, or if he had actually hotter her support instead of forcing her into exile, she might had been able to convince the Paleroches to make some compromises, like they had already done (which shows that they are not completely unreasonable) before his second in command (with Enciodes support) decided that assaulting and maiming factory health & safety inspectors in the best maffia-style possible was a great idea.
Enciodes had dozens of chances to avoid installing himself as Kjerag's Supreme Dictator like he ended up trying to do, but he didn't take any of them. Because they all would have required honest communication and Not Acting Like A Bastard. And Enciodes, terminally GoT-poisoned by his time in Victorian politics is unable to act like a normal person. Thus murder and dictatorship is the only options he sees as viable.
The Great Elder had to go. That's the only good he did. Everything else was extremely unavoidable.
I just love how many people started to hate Eciodes Silverash after playing Break The Ice event. I just watched a vod of a streamer finishing it and her reaction, since he is one of her most upgraded units was just "Can I sell him? Can I kill him and get my materials back. Because I don't want to use him anymore". Which speaks to how well-written the event is, that people are having such emotional reactions to it, and also how no irony, very brave it was to make one of the most popular playable characters the villain in it.

Sorry for the long break! I will get back to finishing the gods of the wandering clans soon, but I was inspired to start drawing my ocs from a fanfic I started writing wayyyy back in the day. This is Marinestar! He is the leader of Lakeclan and my personal favorite character in Thin Lines (the fanfic). Underneath I will have a bio for him. Spoiler warning for Thin Lines! I plan to restart writing it and post it on Wattpad: TheSunWasThere Parents: Browntail and Aquaclaw Mentor: Scarnose Apprentice: Cowpatch Siblings: Redfang, Wolffur, Foxwhisker, Floodwing, and Fuzzystar Mate: Wildflower Daughters: Mossykit, Juniperkit, Blackbirdkit, and Flowingkit Headcannon voice: Josh Groban Marinestar was the first born in his massive litter of six kits. He was named after his motherās kittypet name, Aquamarine, which she had named herself after as well when she became a warrior. He was very close to and acted as a guide to his blind brother, Fuzzykit. He was mentored by his great uncle, Scarnose from who he would get his stoic and wise disposition. He would become a warrior with four of his siblings and earn the name Marinepelt. The deaths of his brother, Foxwhisker, and his father would hit him hard and he would become an excellent strategist in battle due to his insistent attempts to get revenge for his brother. Lakestar would trust him as one of her advisors, along with her two kits and some much more senior warriors. The respect he received caused Fuzzystorm to lash out at Marinepelt and create a rift between the formerly very close brothers. After the death of Lakestar, he looked forward to seeing his former mentor become the next leader, as Scarnose was a more peaceable deputy than Lakestar and Marinepelt had mellowed out since Lakestarās rise in intensity for battle and his forgiveness of the offending cat in Cedarclan. The night after he was named leader, Scarnose was found dead in his den before he could have received his nine lives or named a deputy. Marinepelt was devastated at the loss of such an influential cat in his life. The medicine cats received an omen through a tuft of long, ginger fur blowing in a gale stating that Fuzzystorm was set to be the next leader. Despite their fallout, Marinepelt was proud of his brother and his deputy, Flinteye. Marinepelt would begin to court his kithood friend, Wildflower. Fuzzystar would find out about their relationship and would grow even more upset at his brother, as he liked her. The last straw for Fuzzystar would be when Marinepelt spoke out against his need to take some of Cedarclanās territory. Fuzzystar would attack Marinepelt during a clan meeting and lunge for his throat. Marinepelt would twist out of the way and Fuzzystar would grab his leg instead, breaking it beyond repair, then exiling his brother. Fuzzystar would ask Wildflower to be his mate and she would say yes to continue to spy for Marinepelt. After she was revealed to be expecting her true mateās kits, she would run away and take refuge in Cedarclan where Marinepelt had been staying. Marinepelt would be driven to violence when he found out that Fuzzystar had killed their mother while he was away. Him and their sister, Redfang would start a secret rebellion and stage a battle from Cedarclan against Lakeclan. Redfang would lead Fuzzystar away from camp to be safe and take him to a secluded part of the territory where Marinepelt would help her to drown Fuzzystar after she had already done her own work to remove his other lives. After Flinteye was forced to resign as deputy, Marinepelt went to get his nine lives as Marinestar and named his deputy Cloudrise, the daughter of Lakestar. He would continue to live a happy life with his family.

Date Drawn:Ā November 20th 2015 - December 27th 2015
Reposting the old and new from DeviantArt!
SAI era part 2 (Yes I was Undertale trash but I drew these near the date where Undertale was released (well 2 months later) so I have an excuse here although I wonāt deny I still love Undertale to this day but not as much), The sunset drawing was actually a stress relief thing I did since back in 2015 since I suffered from a deep depression when I was 13.Ā
Characters belong to their respective owners. I own the brown cat (Duskkit! Or well sheās known as Duskfeather now since sheās grown up. Duskfeather was a gift from a friend of mine after a certain unfair deal. (I hate this drawing of her though). I still roleplay Duskfeather to this day! Her status at the moment is that sheās an elder now!) and the cream cat on the left (Creamheart was a sister of a character my friend made called Browntail. Plot twist: Browntail ended up dying. She was actually inspired by Kesha in a way and was in love with a character who was inspired by Sans (not created by me). They eventually did the thing and created another OC that belongs to me called Acornstar! To this day I would roleplay Creamheart again if I could and as for Acornstar Iām still roleplaying her to this day!)Ā
