Get Wild Mod by MathModder (In Progress)

What you need to know:

This mod introduces wild animals into your game map that spawn naturally in beetle spawners. It includes birds, small mammals, amphibians, more insects and reptiles in nature zones. Birds can fly and land in random locations and ground animals can be seen walking around the map.

You can choose ONE from various versions that best suit your world. Select the version that spawns specific animals suitable for your World's location.

These additional effects mentioned above will appear rarely and randomly in your world.

Can I place individual animals in specific locations, such as on rocks or tables?

In a future update after launch, this function will be added, for now they will only spawn where there is a beetle spawner. Ground animals on the ground and birds in the air.

Is the mod heavy to run?

Within the game I am optimizing it so that a small number of animals spawn at the same time and only spawn at a maximum distance of 500 meters from the player's camera.

How many files will there be?

Because there are many animals and specific animations for each one, the files will be heavy, will be a maximum of 2 to 3 files. In tests in my game with 150 other mods from other creators, I didn't see any loss of performance due to the optimization I'm doing within the game.

It is worth mentioning that some files will need to be placed in the Overrides folder and others in the Packages folder, they will all be specified at launch.

Is this mod compatible with other effect mods?

Yes, it will be compatible.

Bugs:

Depending on the location, there may be some bugs such as birds landing in the air or animals walking a little above the ground, this is due to calculation problems on certain game surfaces and physics, whether hills or mountains, but over time I will update and see What can I do to reduce this. In this case I depend on the engine the game has and whether it is possible to correct certain errors.

Between January and February 2024 (It is in the testing phase)

Do you know if there are different morphs for green frogs, or can they change color slightly? I think ive seen some recently that looked almost entirely brown, but unfortunately dont have pics of them

Variation amongst northern green frogs

Similar to American bullfrogs, northern green frogs, do exhibit a wide variation in coloration. Keeping in mind, they can change their skin tone, based on "mood" and temperature. Many green frogs are a bit more blue, a bit more yellow, some are melanistic, and some are much browner. Some can be more spotted as well. Much of this is based on random genetics, sex, and life stage.

He has to stop, they’re in public, but V is whining his name, asking for more, and Alastor can never deny V anything. They kiss until the sky turns from evening swirls of pink and orange to indigo twilight, when the fireflies wake up to the symphony of bullfrogs and crickets. V pulls back, sliding his hands into Alastor’s and intertwining their fingers just as a firefly lands on Alastor’s cheek. Alastor scrunches up his nose in an attempt to get it off but accepts his fate when it stays. “I’m going to marry you,” V says, and Alastor gives him a lopsided smile. “In Louisiana?” he asks, laughter in his voice. “We’ll go to Canada if we have to,” V says. “Or—or wherever you want.” “As long as it’s…” Alastor pauses, cocking his head to think, dislodging the firefly. “One of four countries?” V shrugs, watching the path of the firefly as it joins its friends in the long grass nearby. “Maybe more, who knows. We’ve got like three years." Alastor runs a hand through V’s hair tenderly, getting his attention and pulling him close so Alastor can rest his cheek on V’s shoulder. “Let’s get married in every country, then,” he says quietly. “I’ll get you the fanciest ring. Went bullfrogging this morning and caught a bunch of tadpoles. Brought them home for the chickens to eat because they’re invasive and a good snack. Most of the chickens didn’t understand what to do with them but Willow did. ISA browns are total hunters, my last ones killed mice and ripped them apart. She ate 3-4 of them and got in a fight over another one.

Headcanon: So what exactly are the "Outsider" Lions?

Short answer: They are lions with mixed heritage of Pride Land and Kavu lions.

What is a 'Kavu' lion?

These are lions that live in the area we know as the K.alahari Desert. 'Kavu' is the S.wahili word for 'dry', and hail from a desert area known as the Dry Lands. This would be an area further to the south than the desert that appeared in the original movie.

The difference in appearance is stark compared to a Pride Lander lion. Kavu lions are slightly smaller than their bulkier cousins, but their lean build and longer limbs make them look almost malnourished in comparison.

In terms of physical characteristics, their fur is thicker and longer, often giving them a 'scruffy' appearance to help them regulate the extreme temperature changes of the day and night. There have been cases of manes or tail tufts being curly/wavy. Some Kavu lions develop spots or 'freckles' as they mature, different from the spots lion cubs have, though it's unclear whether it's a long-forgotten aesthetic reason (akin to 'beauty marks'), or another way to protect them from the sun. Their noses are angular and slender to lessen the risk of sand irritating the nasal chambers. They can be black or pink.

Their pelts are normally darker and muted in colour as another sun-protecting adaptation (though they look 'washed out' compared to Pride Landers). Normally, they would be in tones along the lines of sand-brown, warm greys, or russet. There have been cases of darker tones appearing that are nearer to a dark brown or black. Tail tufts for lionesses are usually dark brown. For male lions, they are black, and they grow a black mane to further protect them from the blistering sun. The eye rims are normally darker on the upper half, and usually darker on the lower half, though this is not always the case. Finally, their eyes are normally somewhere on the blue-green range. When having cubs with Pride Landers, the eye colour is usually a recessive gene, meaning that most cubs would have red eyes. However, there can be some rare mutations, such as Vitani's purple eyes.

So how do the genetics work? Aside from the eye colour, as previously mentioned, nothing is recessive. However, the Pride Lander genes are naturally stronger, and they are better suited for the environment (the bulkier build for larger prey, pelts to better camouflage in the tall dry grass/bolder colours to look more intimidating, etc). However, another interesting mutation is the pelt colour being a mix of Kavu and Pride Lander. S.car himself is actually a really good example of this.

Compared to K.ovu and N.uka, he's actually more saturated, almost terracotta in tone. The other two are defintely more muted, or 'earthen' in comparison. In other words, he inherited the brown from the Kavu side, but it's a bolder, more orange tone because of the Pride Lander side. (Of the above three, I would argue that N.uka is actually the closest to the best example of a Kavu lion, aside from the weak mane from his poor upbringing and his red eyes.)

I was going to try and explain how many there were, but truthfully we all know that's a case of not knowing the sequel was going to exist in the first place. I would imagine it was a case of there being a few, but having mostly Pride Lander genes (with S.car presumably being the most obvious outlier), but then those that were born once S.car took over and the drought began took on the Kavu genes to have a better chance of surviving the harsh weather?

It was late at night in the glade, everyone was asleep... and the creatures of the night run wild. The lum's lit up in the dark sky, slowly wooing the last of the awake into a deep slumber.

The trouple are asleep in bed together. Their bodies are pressed up against each other, with Apollo in the middle. Bullfrog, being the only one with limbs, had his arms wrapped around Apollos head, with Ramon's floating hands on their waist.

All of a sudden, Apollo shot up. His hair was soaked in his sweat, and his hands were shaking.

In and out.. The brunette thought, he had just predicted another terrible event that would cause catastrophic damage. Apollo's breaths got deeper and deeper. He felt like all eyes were on him. That everyone was judging him.

In the middle of his panic attack, both of his partners awoke. The assassin started to comfort the brunette as soon as he figured out what was going on.

"Shhh.. Quoi arrive mon amour?" His small hand found itself in Apollos dark brown hair.

"Mister Dark- he's gonna do something really bad! I-I gotta go tell the Teensie's!" As he tried to run out of bed, Ramon pulled him back in bed.

"Not now.." He kissed Apollos forehead, followed by leading Apollos head to his chest.

"listen to my heartbeat..." He whispered gently. "Listen to it... listen to its calm, isn't it?"

Apollo nods, Bullfrog's palm messaging Apollos scalp.

"Mmm.. can you get your heart beat the same as mine, LoveBug?"

The bug like Thingamajig then started to use some breathing exercises he had been taught by Bullfrog. The room had now such a calming aura to it.

Eventually, Apollo had fallen back asleep. Making Bullfrog and Ramon smile, and the two kiss before falling asleep themselves.

Guys!! I just finished watching Captain Laserhawk and the plot never stops flowing into my head! Eeekk

Summary: Desmond yeeted or yote? Whatever into the Captain Laserhawk universe after he died to save the world (thank Ubi). In the corgi hybrid from because why not? Even in the show they have assassin bullfrog (he is the precious thing don’t you dare) why can’t we? And yeah Desmond he can change back to human from because the Isu bullshit brought with him, But there is a limited time.

The first thing when he touch The Eyes it was pain It was like it was burning from both outside and inside.

And after that it was darkness, he didn’t know how much time had passed. He can thought but he can’t feel. It’s cold or hot, it’s hard or soft ,he in the narrow coffin or floating in endless space.

Ha can’t feel anything.

But recently he feel like he was pulled into the blackhole. It was extremely fucking painful, as if his body had turned into spaghetti.

And the loud ‘THUD’ makes his body remember the pain again. He jumped up, the back that hit the ground still felt a slight pain. He tried to reach out to scratch his back but failed.

Desmond tried to collect himself. Ok, breathe in breath out, in and out, in and out. Alright, he look around him look like he’s in an alley somewhere, It's all wet. And there was a smell of garbage everywhere. Well, he's sitting on a garbage bag that’s why.

He climbed out, nearly slipping because of a nearby puddle of sewage. He looked down examining his shirt, It was the same as the shirt he wore that day. His right arm, uh, or front leg? Covered with completely black fur. Meanwhile, his entire body was covered in orange and white fur.

Desmond felt his left ear twitch as he heard a man yelling from outside the alley he was in. He peeked out from the corner and saw two men, one with white hair, leaning against the wall before rushing to pick up the other man who didn't look too good. His right eye was replaced by a machine. The left arm was replaced with a mechanical arm.

That guy looked like something out of a sci-fi movie where the main character was a cyborg. Yeah…definitely. His ears perked up when white hair guy carry cyborg man is going to pass him by. He hurriedly hid himself with his instinct behind a large garbage bag.

He activated his eagle vision and saw the two people passing by. Surprisingly, he saw that the two men were faintly golden, almost invisible. It was as if they were important to Desmond in some way.

He blinked, his eyes turning brown again. Desmond rubbed a paw over his face before groaning lowly.

Ugh

Welp, life never gonna be easy to Desmond Miles.

After the week they’ve had, Bucky is tired enough that he doesn’t think to ask why Shuri looks so smug at dinner. He’s mostly just caught between relief that their mission is over and worry for Sam, who spends the whole meal looking like he’s about to pass out facedown in his stew.

It’s only afterwards, when a member of palace staff escorts them to their guest quarters, that Bucky realizes he messed up. Sam is half asleep, listing into Bucky’s side at this point, so it’s in hushed tones and reasonably competent Xhosa that Bucky says he’ll just get the Captain situated before Bucky gets shown to his own room.

The blank and somewhat panicked stare that he gets in response is all that Bucky needs to realize what happened. He backtracks immediately, assures the now-worried attendant that he just misunderstood, and hauls Sam into the room before the conversation can deteriorate any further.

Sam is just awake enough to stumble off to the bathroom, grabbing sweatpants from his duffel as he goes. Left alone in the room, Bucky surveys the space.

The view out the windows is beautiful, the room is tastefully decorated, and—to absolutely no one’s surprise—there’s just one bed.

Part of Bucky is delighted that things between him and Shuri have been repaired enough for her to play silly pranks on him again, but did it have to be now? And did she have to drag Sam into it?

They’re due to stay at least another three days in Wakanda, long enough for Torres and Yelena to heal up fully. If Bucky reacts now, Shuri’s just going to escalate things, and he’s not sure he’s ready to see what leveling up looks like here.

Bucky considers his escape routes. He’s been in the guest quarters at the palace enough times over the years to know that all the rooms are similarly appointed, and there’s always a plenty-comfortable chaise by the coffee table, arranged to face the windows that look out onto the city. When he turns to that particular spot in this room, it’s conspicuously empty.

There might be a couch in Yelena or Joaquín’s rooms, he reasons, but if either of them wake up to find him sleeping there, he’ll never hear the end of the questions about lover’s quarrels, and they’re both too injured for him to put any real menace into a threat. He could take the floor, maybe, but if he does, Sam’s either gonna fix him with those big brown pity eyes or he’ll mention it to Shuri in passing, and either way, Bucky’s going to suffer.

He spends long enough quietly panicking over his options that Sam comes back out of the bathroom. He stifles a yawn, his faded St. Bernard Bullfrogs t-shirt clinging on for dear life as he stretches his arms over his head.

It takes him a second to take in the room, but he seems unfazed when he does. “We sharing?” he asks Bucky, yawning again.

“It’s just a mix-up,” Bucky says quickly. “I can—”

“We’re sharing,” says Sam, with an absentminded pat to Bucky’s shoulder. “Don’t worry, I won’t get fresh with you. I’m a gentleman.”

Bucky’s face goes hot. He’d been doing just fine panicking about sharing a bed with Sam in the abstract; the last thing that he needs to think of is what it might look like if Sam did get fresh with him. He swallows hard and shakes his head to clear it.

Sam, for his part, is completely oblivious to the crisis that Bucky’s experiencing. He just ambles towards the bed and throws back the covers on the right side. The sigh that he lets out as he settles on the mattress is pure relief, accompanied by a softly mumbled, “I love Wakanda.”

It’s deeply inconvenient, Bucky has to admit, that Sam is so cute. It would be fine if he were just hot. Hot would be fine. Hot can be ignored. Cute, on the other hand…cute isn’t something Bucky has defenses against. Cute is why Bucky always caves and takes the boys out for ice cream before dinner and why the baby goats in Bucky’s charge always got away with misbehaving. Cute is why Alpine is the most spoiled cat in the five boroughs and why all three Barnes sisters always knew that the quickest way to get something was to ask Bucky for it first.

Cute is why—after a furiously-whispered pep talk in the mirror about finding an attendant and asking to be shown to his own room—when Bucky emerges from the bathroom to see a bleary-eyed Sam sit up and pat the left side of the bed, his feet take him there without any conscious signal from his brain.

(Cute is why, when Bucky wakes up the next morning to Sam clinging to him like an octopus, he just kisses his forehead, turns off the alarm, and pulls him closer.)

Actually wait something else that supports my "Sarah's story is a parallel to Bullfrog's story" theory and my "Bullfrog's mother was an assassin" theory

Sarah looks nothing like Sam

From what I've gathered regarding Splinter cell lore is that , despite being important to the main character and mother of his child, Regan Burns never had a physical appearance in any games, her physical appearance is left more or less blank

In most media , Sarah is a white woman with dark hair while in CLH Sarah is a brown woman with silver hair

However in both games and CLH, Sam is a white man with dark hair

While Sam in CLH isn’t an exact copy of his video game counterpart, Sam and Sarah in the splinter cell series do have a much stronger family resemblance to each other than that of their counterparts in the remixed universe

That’s….. weird, right? Like , it’s an odd creative choice to have Sarah be so drastically different to her game version that even her race is different while Sam , her father, still resembles the character he’s originally remixed from

While concept art did explore other options regarding her hair eye, and skin colour, including pale skin and dark hair like her game version, Sarah having pale hair specifically seemed like a design element the crew felt strongly towards and wanted to use

Yes the Warden being Sarah Fisher, the daughter of Sam Fisher, is meant as a plot twist. HOWEVER, we don’t learn about Sam’s existence until Sarah explains her backstory , meaning the crew could’ve given Sam some traits to better reflect his blood connection to his daughter in this universe

Sarah’s lack of physical resemblance to her father may have some narrative symbolism to it, the most obvious being how drastically different she and her father’s morals are. However, I also think it ties back to my theory that Regan was a Templar and was the one who gave Sarah her beliefs in life that lead to her behaviour in the show proper

Sarah didn’t just inherited Regan’s Templar status and beliefs , Sarah also physically resembles her mother more than her father

I know this is completely random to bring up, but I’m making a Kingdom Hearts reference

Specifically, Xehanort, a villain whose prominent features is his silver hair and gold eyes combo

Now obviously Ubisoft has no rights to use anything Kingdom hearts related , and so I seriously doubt we’ll see a flashback of Sam making out with a Xehanorted Regan in season two (don’t ask what Xehanorted is if you never played KH, it’s hard to explain)

The reason I’m bringing him up is to point out that while Captain Laserhawk is a show about video games, it’s specifically an anime show about video games

I can’t find anything regarding his opinion on the KH franchise itself, though Adi did talk about how Rodger Rabbit was an inspiration for CLH, another massive crossover story owned by Disney. Considering how he likes to tip his toes into all sorts of geeky stuff, it’s unlikely he hasn’t encountered the Kingdom Hearts franchise

I think the Templars may be inspired by Xehanort to a degree

A majority of the human characters (both who have a narrative role and background role) shown in the CLH universe thus far have natural hair and eye colours

While there’s outliners such as Pagan Min and Mute having pink hair, those two are easily explained by the existence of hair dye

Sarah however, was born with gold eyes and silver hair

While I don’t think every member of the board of directors/templar order have a sun kissed complexion under those masks like Sarah does, I do think it’s likely that gold eyes and silver hair is a common trait they share under those masks

And we know from the manga that Eden is practicing some form of eugenics with how they specifically took Dolph from his own mother for having good genetics, it’s likely that the board keeps heavy tabs on people that have Templar DNA within them

“Okay so how does Bullfrog’s mother fit into this-“ you notice how Bullfrog is one of the more feminine looking male characters in the show?

It may have just been me who originally mistook him for being a girl before the show actually came out, but I don’t think it’s an accident that he has feminine/softer leaning design elements. It’s even pointed out by the crew they specifically designed Bullfrog to be cute , you can even see that reflected throughout Bullfrog’s concept art

So since Sarah parallels Bullfrog, and she both took her mother’s ideals and inherited most of her physical traits from her, than it’s likely Bullfrog not only took after his mother in her beliefs, but also has a very strong resemblance to his mother

Basically, Bullfrog’s mama was a cute assassin milf

For the Wings of Fire version of the Dark AU, dragon hybrids are mutants. Some can hide as one tribe, while others who are more obviously hybrids can't. Odd powers show up amongst hybrids, especially when there's moons or magic involved. I'm making it so dragons age a bit slower than canon, so instead of being like a three year old at one year of age, it would be mentally two but being a one year old. So, being one=2 year old by human standard. A dragon year is about two human years long, and the twelve months are... hectic, to say the least...

The adults are all hybrids, and so are the kids. Here's a list of who is what kind of hybrid:

Charles Xavier: NightWing/SeaWing, appears more as a NightWing, but with some webbing and longer tail; is a gray-green color, with scattered silver star scales and silvery glow scales; uses a wheelchair for his back talons; is named Charitable
