Shots fired. In record time, even for them. And there’s a slow motion flick of his tongue over his lips. A resettling of his mouth as green and yellow cast themselves across the landscape. Keeping to himself the curiosity of what road she took to be here, because he doubts it was the same as his own. He has to take side streets and back allies now. Not because Herself has any sway here but because…well he’d prefer not being on display in just so many ways in his comings and goings.

        “Roi’ght.”

The word neither hostile nor forgiving. More complacent in its situation. As if it has become so very used to her ire. And in part perhaps he has. Regardless he turns away from her. Does not correct nor point out her way of luring what she seeks is..unnecessary. Though he should think the water nymphs just might enjoy the view. Boots tied together and slung over his shoulder readjusted as he crouches down by a different edge of the water.

Fingers delving into the pocket of his jacket, to produce something of size in his hand. Wrapped and tied with the upmost care. Protection that he very gingerly begins to remove. Knees settling into the wet soil of the shore where he sets down the precious piece of cargo.

Beth had come here in search of something, while he had come to give back. And perhaps that does not at all occur to him the differences that bring me here. Just like it does not at all come to mind to look back. To take in the small woman who can’t believe he loves her in all the gorgeous beauty she can not see she holds. Mix matched eye kept down cast against the property he had quite literally stumbled over in his wanderings of the world of men. Because while unnecessary Beth did have the right idea and there are reasons he’s not seen one in ages upon ages long. Though his lack of chastity is the least of them.

Hey peoples. So, I feel like I should let you all know that I’m just not feeling it anymore. I’ve tried so many times, but I’m just not.

By now you all know me, so you know I’m not going to do something dramatic like delete my blog or drop all my threads or go on a long hiatus. I’m still here, I’m always lurking around. I just don’t want you all feeling like you’re waiting on me.  

And for one time, I actually feel like lifting the curtain a little and telling you a bit of my story...
