In 1869 Arthur Brooke, the son of a tea merchant, opened a tea shop in Manchester. That was the start of the Brooke Bond family of teas – including the famous Red Label – which are enjoyed around the world from Russia and India, to Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. By 1957, Brooke Bond were perhaps the largest tea company in the world, selling one-third of the tea sipped in both Britain and India. Interestingly, while there was a Mr Brooke, there was no Mr Bond: the ‘Brooke Bond’ brand name was chosen because it signalled a ‘bond’ to its customers to provide reliable, high-quality tea. In the 21st century, Brooke Bond’s commitment to quality lives on. Brew lovers can now choose from a wide range of products including tea bags and loose tea in lots of tasty varieties. #brookebond #arthurbrooke #brookebondtea #teafortwo #advertising #tea #mancave #shopdisplay #windowdisplay #display #vintage #vintageadvertising #vintageshop #interior #mancaveideas #mancavestuff (at Brooke Bond Red Label) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cca52ygIdaS/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
