BEACH HOUSE DREAM

As the three families arrive at the beach house on the fourth of July, the group separates to get refamiliarized with their summer rooms. Myles being the gentleman that he is, carries both his and Vera's luggage to their room. While passing Monica on the stairs, he gives her a wink. Jake's room wasn't as impressive as his parents' room but, the luxury was built into the memories he made here. From the wine stain on the carpet to the burn mark on his comforter, every small detail has its own story to tell. Tyler's room was darker but, no less luxurious. He wasn't into the bright, beachy aesthetic but, loves the shore and their home just as much as everyone else, if not more. This is where he gets to spend more time with her. The Maddoxs, McKenzies, and the Fitzgeralds are all supposed to be one big united family but, Tyler's always had a crush on the pretty-eyed blonde, who's smile is more beautiful than anything he'll see on vacation. Jake would agree, and unfortunately for him, Tyler beat him to her bedroom, offering to help her with her luggage. "You know you don't have to pack your whole room to bring to the beach, right?" Although teasing, he's also being serious. If it weren't for him getting into boxing and fitness, he would of had to use both hands to carry her suitcase up the stairs. After a few minutes of small talk, Tyler leans his back against the wall, emotionally struggling to open up. "Can I ask you a more serious question?" He's been dying to ask her to be his girlfriend for a while now. He even brought his most prized possession with him to give to her; a necklace with silver boxing gloves. He won the necklace in a grueling competition. Knowing he's adopted means always thinking he's not good enough. Winning the competition made him realize he could be. At the end of the day it's just a necklace, though. The only person who makes him feel seen is Brooke. So he modified the chain a few weeks ago by adding a second charm to it; a pair of silver ballerina slippers. This way they'll always be together.

MOST POPULAR: britt + karma !! i had so much fun with this set and it was honestly such a good way to start off the year !! FAVOURITE: probably that same set !! also the glee icons pack i made :D

FEBRUARY

MOST POPULAR: from my blog, britt + mike in 207 shsjhs. from teen dramas, brooke in 207 (one of my fave looks of hers) (this was clearly a month for the seventh episodes in second seasons ??) FAVOURITE: barchie + high infidelity for barchiesource !! something a bit different for me creatively but ugh i love it. also glee 514 for gleesource !! again something a lil different !!

MOST POPULAR: riverdale returning to television and proving it takes the cake as the funniest show in the world (another rvd is iconic and beyond reproach set for 701) FAVOURITE: a banger month for creative sets !! basically everything i made for barchie week, this unholy trinity MASTERPIECE i made for gleesource, and this djats set + destiny, choice, chance

APRIL

MOST POPULAR: my favourite scene from djats for djats week in green bc apparently i like to make things hard for myself ?? who knew FAVOURITE: again. SO MANY. another month another appreciation week shsjhs. anyway all the sets i made for djats week, more sets for gleesource including santana + valerie and mercedes and santana + river deep mountain high, my santana lesbian visibility set, hsmtmts + tarot cards which took me wayyyy too long to finish, rvd ladies + barbie posters (50s edition), and barchie in 701 for barchiesource in RED (very proud of how it turned out considering i hate giffing in red)

MAY

MOST POPULAR: quinn + tropes for glee appreciation week !! FAVOURITE: everything i made for glee week (there were quite a few bangers), my 2 9-1-1 sets shjshsj - maddie + you first (a banger) and madney + paper rings (another banger), also the first (and only rip) set in my layla episodes series (layla + 101), and this jordayla + proposal foreshadowing i did over on jordayla gifs !!

JUNE

MOST POPULAR: this halle bailey set <33 FAVOURITE: once again. everything i made for all american appreciation week !!! special shout outs to layla + the eras tour and the layla set i made for day 1 !!

JULY

MOST POPULAR: nancy + the wizard of oz horror (that makes sense i swear) FAVOURITE: the aforementioned nancy set, also stancy + persuasion, the little mermaid live action and the quote that made me insane for a few weeks, layla + the lip pout she does (she's adorable), AND last but certainly not least, this pride and prejudice edit which was just nothing like i have ever done before that i LOVEDDDD

AUGUST

MOST POPULAR: ashlyn + giving maddox mouth to mouth (her delivery of AS A FRIEND still sends me into orbit) FAVOURITE: HSMTMTS MONTH BABEYYYYY !! fave sets include (but are not limited to there are too many) gina for hsmtmts week, fave songs (also for hsmtmts week), rina + maybe this time + motion blur (THIS TOOK ME WAY TOO LONG BTW), this antoine set bc he is an icon, madlyn + daylight (still a serve), rina + invisible string (to this day the most insane thing i have ever made), hsmtmts + a meme summary (just your regularly unhinged content honestly), and this jet/maddox set <33

He wasn't thinking about having sex when he said they had to be quiet. Therefore her reaction to that made him laugh. It was the kind of laugh he wasn't used to hearing from his own body. No one ever makes Tyler O'Neill lose his cool. No one but Brooke Maddox that is. "I didn't mean it like that. I just meant we have to be quiet with the music and wandering around the house." He still has to toss her clothes in the drier and he promised her something to eat. They've both been drinking as well so they could get a little clumsy. "But since you bring it up, I guess you're not the revenge type? It's not like you owe anything to Jake anyway." Such as her loyalty. Not after Nina sank her succubus fangs into him. Tyler wasn't given the privilege of such a sight, but he's sure the image will live in Brooke's mind for the rest of her life. "Well, if you ever show me your room, you can put on whatever music you'd like, Swiftie." With a penchant for nicknames, he'll never stop adding to the list. Though he knows nothing makes her blush quite like hearing him call her pretty eyes. Hearing her mention the boxes, Tyler lets out a soft sigh as he bends down to gather her wet clothes to bring to the drier. He tries to not make it weird but he's sure he can feel her bra in the pile. Just thinking about her boobs can make him aroused. "The McKenzie's are great, but they're temporary. Keeping things packed makes the transition easier." Opening the drier, he tosses the clothes inside. He would have washed them too but he was sure she didn't want to stick around for that long. "I know its hard to wrap your head around, but I won't be graduating with you guys. I give it another few months." When he straightens himself out, he pauses for a moment. He can taste the upcoming sass on his tongue before the words even form themselves into a complete thought. "I'm sure it'll make your life a whole lot easier. Jake will be happier. Then its what, married by twenty? Kids by twenty five?"

As he takes a step closer and eyes her up and down, Brooke freezes where she stands. His eyes have a way of getting him whatever he wants. First it was Nina, then it was Brooke in France... she could still remember what he tasted like under a blanket of stars and next to a warm fireplace. And although, he's occupied her mind since then... she can't bring herself to admit it. Because, it's wrong. Regardless, of whatever happened tonight with Jake, Brooke's not a cheater. At least, she doesn't want to be. Thus, her hand comes up to stop him by placing it against his chest to still his movements. She can only assume what he means when he says they have to be quiet. "I'm not sleeping with you." She has half the mind to add on an 'again' but, doesn't. Nor does she have to. He remembers what they did just as much as she does. He reminded her of their tryst at the party when he cornered her in the kitchen and kissed her like his life literally depended on it. Before Brooke caught Jake with his pants down and Nina draped over his waist. Which she didn't know at the time, was his doing. She couldn't get the image of their other partners out of her head, therefore she closes her eyes until it disappears. "I do like this song though. Maybe not as much as I like Taylor Swift but, it's good." A smile stretches across her face as she turns away from him to have a look around the rest of his room. There were some posters on the wall, some clothes in the closet, but for the most part... it seemed empty and littered in boxes. "Haven't you lived with the McKenzie's for a couple of months now? Why haven't you finished unpacking? Are you planning on moving again or something?" She has to be honest, the thought of him leaving Riverwood for somewhere else (or someone else), bothers her more than he'll ever know and she's not sure why. @moonsrune

“I already told you, I’m not going anywhere unless you come with me.” She could go one night without food. As for the missing warmth? Well, there was other ways to take care of that. One Brooke started to instigate as she straddled Tyler’s thighs in the backseat. They’ve had sex on top of this car once, it was only right they made love inside of it. “Quinn has a lady friend over anyway. I’m not sure I want to listen to them go at it all night.” It would be easier to ignore if Brooke didn’t know her father’s patterns. He never cooked a homecooked meal unless it was to impress someone. Brooke had no idea who the someone was. All she knew was that, it wasn’t her mother.

“Where’d you get this?” Lifting the sleeve of Tyler’s shirt, Brooke’s fingers lightly trace the wolf underneath Tyler’s moon tattoo. “The wolf seems sad. Is he sad?” She’s not sure how she drew that conclusion when the wolf was nothing but a black silhouette, therefore it had no features. But it was their dream conscious talking, as Brooke bent down to kiss the wolf. “I still love it when you call me pretty eyes, you know.”

“I don’t know if your dad still likes me.” Tyler’s fingers slowly trail up her sides and slip beneath her shirt where he softly touches and massages her naked waist. Brooke wasn’t just his girlfriend she was everything to him ( she was his best friend, his home and his soulmate ). Tyler would be lost without her. Sometimes being with her feels like a dream. Why would such a beautiful, smart, amazing girl want to occupy her time with the town criminal? She has a beautiful home, he has a car. She has a family, he’s an orphan. She has trophies and medals and ribbons all claiming her to be a prized equestrian, ballerina, pageant girl, and a scholar. She was Miss Americana and he was the Heartbreak Viper Prince. 

He doesn't want to keep injecting her with his poison, but he's also too selfish to let her go. “It’s Quinn. I doubt he can go at it all night.” Tyler retorted with a teasing smirk and playful laugh.

His fingers continue combing her sides and waist as she sits up on his lap. She was so gorgeous to look at. Breathtakingly beautiful. Her eyes were made of glitter and magic. One look and he could feel himself falling under her spell. “You know Medusa has nothing on you. Do you know her story? She was said to be out of this world beautiful, but tragedy would find her in the form of men. They would chase her down and fill her life with endless hardships. One guy ruined her life forever. Neptune. He seduced the goddess and Minerva cursed her by giving her eyes that would turn any man who looks at her to stone. Your eyes are ethereal. You have me love stoned.” He takes a deep breath and then exhales. His can feel his heart racing and every inch of him is warm beneath her. 

“Yeah... the wolf is sad. He’s a sorry wolf. He's howling to the moon, wishing he could find his mate so he can apologize to her. You see, wolves are not always kind. They are raised a certain way. They’re taught from an early age to be hunters. They can only trust their pack. This wolf,” Tyler guides her flinger around the small black silhouette on his arm, “made a mistake when he thought he could no longer trust his mate. He was afraid of getting hurt so he hurt her first. But now he would do anything to take it all back. He would take all the pain. All the suffering. He would stand in front of a thousand armed hunters to protect her. You want to know why?” He reaches a hand to her face and lightly traces the shape of her lips. “Because he loves her. She has the prettiest eyes and he was a fool. I love you, Brooke Cecelia Maddox. I've always loved you.”
