I don't mind getting up early to help my dad out (I mean I fucking hate it but like. I'll do it) but I do hate the way he makes fun of me for struggling with it. like I'm not just being lazy and complaining about not getting a lie in, my disability just affects me much worse if I get up early or if I haven't had enough sleep so I am in a lot of pain and nauseous and just feel like absolute shit, it literally feels like waking up with a hangover

Like he canonically is very organized/clean etc, and he would love the repetitive active tasks that are deceptively simple but actually require skill to perfect, and the fact that you don’t have to interact with a lot of people other than a few of your coworkers which you develop a grim sort of camaraderie with (it’s like the trenches sometimes)

bruh the irony of me leaving my 14 degree celsius flat to go spend the evening in the local pub purely to mooch off their central heating and WiFi and nearly walking into a bus stop with a massive official poster with tips on how to survive the fucking winter like people are doing this to themselves on purpose.
