Rob Van Dam x Fem Reader- "Pussycat Doll"
The Pussycat Dolls will mostly always be remembered as that oversexualized girl group that sang that "Don't Cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me" song.
But before the Pussycat Dolls were a girl group, they started off as a burlesque act, which really shouldn't be surprising considering if you've looked at the PCD's music videos.
What made the Pussycat Dolls a unique burlesque act is not only were they bringing back burlesque back to this current era, but they weren't stereotypical old fashioned burlesque.
Not to mention, the Pussycat Dolls burlesque show didn't involve women taking their clothes off and had female celebrities as Pussycat Dolls, singing songs.
Female celebrities that were Pussycat Dolls were Carmen Electra, Christina Aguilera, Christina Applegate, Paris Hilton, Charlize Theron, Gwen Stefani, and Brittany Murphy.
There was a moment in the 2003 "Charlie's Angels" movie where the Angels are Pussycat Dolls in the burlesque show.
And you were one of the many female celebrities who was a Pussycat Doll in the early 2000's.
You became famous for being a WWF/E diva and wrestling valet, and when you worked as a Pussycat Doll, you asked some current WWE divas at the time if they'd like to be in the Pussycat Dolls burlesque show.
Stacy Keibler no doubt would love to be a Pussycat Doll, considering she grew up singing and dancing, and she's the type who definitely would be a Pussycat Doll, considering she was more of an eye candy diva and valet rather than wrestler.
Despite that Lita was a bassist for a band before becoming a professional wrestler and eventually became the lead singer of a punk rock band, Lita didn't really want to be a part of the PCD Burlesque Show, considering she turned down offers to pose for Playboy due to her wanting to be a role model for girls, and even when Lita did that "live sex celebration" with Edge in 2006, she didn't want to do that.
She also criticized those "cheesecake photoshoots" the WWE/F made their women's division do in the 2000's.
When you were a part of the Pussycat Dolls burlesque show in 2002, many male professional wrestlers that you were enamored with (and not enamored with) visited the show.
Those male professional wrestlers that visited and watched these performances were Scott Hall, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Christian Cage, Nova from ECW (who would later become Simon Dean in the WWE), Raven, Triple H and Rob Van Dam.
Those especially were male pro wrestlers you were in lust with the most.
You've invited many male pro wrestlers you've been in lust with (as well as have sex with) to watch you and others perform in the Pussycat Dolls burlesque show, not to mention some male pro wrestlers you've never had sex with visited the PCD burlesque act.
On Rob Van Dam's birthday on December 18th, 2002, Rob attended a Pussycat Dolls burlesque show that had you in it.
Rob sat in a seat in front of the stage, and you performed for him.
During your performance, you wore a bra with a matching tight micro miniskirt that was short enough for your underwear to be exposed.
In this performance,  you sang Peggy Lee's classic signature song "Fever" to him.
As you sang the opening lines to him, you made eye contact with him, you sang the song sultrily, sexily and seductively, like you were specifically singing it for him.
And you were.
RVD in general gives you fever and has been since you've discovered him.
Your performance to Rob involved you running your fingers back through your hair sometimes to act sultry.
You slowly sauntered closer to the front of the stage as you sang the first lyrics to the song, approaching closer to where Rob was sitting.
Rob watched you with this faint little smile and smirk on his face with his hands folded in his lap.
Rob wore a popular style of a short sleeved button down shirt that men and even underage boys wore in the early 2000's.
One special part in your performance to him was when you turned your body around until your back was in front of him, your arms resting on this long bar as these Pussycat Doll dancers were stretching their legs up.
You also bent the upper half of your body (i.e. your head and torso) forward as you rested your forearms on that bar.
While your arms were resting on that bar, your ass shook back and forth to the beat of the bongos during a part where you weren't singing.
When you stuck your ass out as you shook your ass back and forth, you had a black thong underneath your short miniskirt, your thong covering your vulva.
The audience as well as Rob saw your panties and your bare ass cheeks, and many male fans in the audience gave you a "Woooooooooo!!!", although not saying it like Ric Flair, and a few of them were even making those cheesy wolf whistles at you.
Some of them were even clapping their hands.
Many of these people watching your performance's eyes grew wide and their eyebrows raised, and Rob's eyes grew wide too, although these people should expect you to perform something like this and so should Rob.
You swaying your ass back and forth to the beat of those bongos was inspired by Christina Aguilera's performance of "Fever" when she was a Pussycat Doll, where
You then turned your body around until your torso and navel were shown in front of the audience, removing your forearms off of that bar when you turned around.
You then began singing the third verse to "Fever", where you slowly sauntered and strolled closer to the front of the stage, where Rob Van Dam was standing.
Rob, meanwhile, was getting a major erection underneath his pants that he was hiding.
He was feeling like the luckiest person in the world right now.
Once you were close enough to where he was sitting, you sat down on his lap, straddling his lap with his legs in between your legs.
Many people in the audience turned their heads and looked at you sitting in Rob's lap, and Rob was taken by surprise, his face lighting up and his eyebrows raising higher while his eyes grew wide.
While managing to hold a microphone near your mouth and sing at the same time, one of your hands unbuttoned each button of his shirt all the way down to the bottom.
Now that is talent.
Rob's eyes followed his shirt getting unbuttoned with each button, his mouth keeping a smirk as he watched the buttons separating from the holes.
You wish you could have maybe 3 arms so one hand can hold a microphone for you to sing in while the other unbuttons his shirt and another hand strokes his chest.
Then again, you can wear one of those headbands with microphones attached like Britney Spears used to wear.
You even tried swaying your hips back and forth on his lap while you undid each button of his shirt, and your eyes, too, followed down to the bottom of his shirt while you unbuttoned each hole.
When his shirt was completely unbuttoned, your fingers let go of the last button and your hand moved to his chest, where your hand stroked and caressed across the side of his chest, your hand pushing and shoving away one part of his shirt away.
For a while, you rolled and gyrated your pelvis back and forth on his lap, giving him a lapdance in the process.
Soon, you turned and rotated your body around until your back was in front of his torso and chest this time.
With your head turned sideways, you began to roll and gyrate your hips and body down until you were squatting in between his ankles, singing the rest of "Fever" as you rolled your hips down.
Rob's legs were spread apart during your lapdance to him.
You could feel his erection underneath his slacks when you performed this lapdance to him.
Eventually, you raised yourself up and walked away from Rob, where you got back on stage and continued to perform for him.
When you were a Pussycat Doll in the year 2002, you sang and performed for Scott Hall--the former Razor Ramon---and Raven from ECW and WCW on their birthdays and gave them a lapdance as well.

Fairy Tale Retellings
I know that @magpie-trove has been recommended enough books to fill several years, but since fairy tale retellings are my niche, I’m going to throw some more titles out there. (I’m limiting myself to 1) books/short stories 2) that I enjoyed 3) that I haven’t seen mentioned in connection to the original post. I’m also trying not to branch out into too many tales, so I’m going to be leaving out some slightly more obscure ones).
Before I go into the specifics, I’m just going to say, that if you only read three books out of this list, read Entwined by Heather Dixon (12 Dancing Princesses),  Brine and Bone by Kate Stradling (Little Mermaid) and Valiant by Sarah Macguire. (And if you only read one series, make it Regina Doman’s Fairy Tale Novels.)
Cinderella
Before Midnight by Cameron Dokey: Short, sweet, autumny retelling that I like for the atmosphere and the loving relationship between Cinderella and her stepfamily.
Silver Woven In My Hair by Shirley Rousseau Murphy: Extremely short, traditional retelling, starring a mistreated girl who collects Cinderella stories while being in one of her own. Has a sweet charm to it.
Soot and Slipper by Kate Stradling: A short retelling set in a traditional fairy tale kingdom, but with an excellent plot twist. I like it very much until the ending entangles it in a far-too-complicated magic system.
The Reluctant Godfather by Allison Tebo: A sassy retelling starring a grumpy fairy baker who tries to get out of his godfather duties by getting his two charges to fall in love with each other. Gets points for a unique, almost Wodehousish parody element that is an extreme breath of fresh air in a genre dominated by YA romances.
The Spinner and the Slipper by Camryn Lockhart: Mashes up the story with Rumpelstiltskin. Clearly the work of a very young author, but I’m putting it on here for the fun use of the fairies from A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Beauty and the Beast
Unseen Beauty by Amity Thomsen: Traditional fantasy retelling from the POV of one of the invisible servants. Writing that’s a cut above most self-pubbed books, with extra points for featuring a female friendship that’s just as important as the main romance.
Snow White
Fairest Son by H.S.J. Williams: Gender-flipped version involving the fae. Is the only Snow White retelling that had me uncertain for a while of where the plot was going to go.
Sleeping Beauty
A Long, Long Sleep by Anna Sheehan: A sci-fi retelling involving a girl who was regularly kept in stasis for the convenience of her corporate mogul parents, then was left in stasis for more than 70 years while the apocalypse happened. She wakes up to a world that’s recovered to become a very different place and has to deal with the emotional fallout of everything that’s happened to her. And it’s intense. This book has the distinction of being one of only two books with scenes that made me put the book down so I could sob uncontrollably. (The other is Rapunzel Let Down). There’s a little bit of content (a couple of kissing scenes that veer toward steamy, and use of futuristic swear words that have clear connections to modern swear words) but easily skippable.
The Little Mermaid
Brine and Bone by Kate Stradling: On first read, I appreciated it as a faithful-to-Andersen retelling, but found it otherwise forgettable. I reread it earlier this year and cannot understand how I possibly came to that conclusion. This has beautiful character work in a unique world that, I cannot stress this enough, is loyal to the Andersen version while appreciating the true joy of that ending.
Silent Mermaid by Brittany Fichter: First half had some excellent world-building and interesting conflicts that fell apart in a more cliche second half, but I remember it being enjoyable overall.
The Princess and the Pea
The Bruised Princess by A.G. Marshall: Part of her Once Upon a Short Story collection. They’re all decent-to-great, but this one is my favorite, a sweet little romance that makes the story make a surprising amount of sense.
I need to give a shout-out to my favorite retelling of this tale. I can’t remember the title. It was on Fanfiction.net back in the day. (I tried looking it up, but it wasn’t part of the collection I assumed it was in). It was from the POV of the servant who had to stuff all twenty mattresses. She has allergies and is miserable by the time she’s done, and gets her revenge by stuffing the top mattress with gravel.
The Twelve Dancing Princesses
Entwined by Heather Dixon: One of my very top favorite retellings, a creative and whimsical and touching story focusing on the twelve close-knit sisters and their relationship with their buttoned-up father in the aftermath of their mother’s death.
The Brave Little Tailor
Valiant by Sarah McGuire: The only retelling I’ve ever seen of this tale, starring a girl who has to masquerade as a boy to get work as a tailor, and winds up entangled in a kingdom’s battle against giants. The first act is very boring, but it turns into a very well-done retelling with excellent characters and worldbuilding.
Bonus: Series
These are series that retell several fairy tales in the same universe, and I thought it’d be easier to present them all together than separating them out by fairy tale.
The Fairy Tale Novels by Regina Doman: Catholic retellings set in the modern day. They have their weak points, but they’re my gold standard for how to write a modern retelling and how to write a religious romance.
The Shadow of the Bear: Snow White and Rose Red. Fun and adventurous. Gets points for introducing me to Chesterton.
Black as Night: Snow White, focusing on the Snow White character from the first book. Darker and more intense, but with some deep themes.
Waking Rose: Sleeping Beauty, focusing on the Rose Red character’s adventures in college. By far the most popular book in the series, it’s overlong, but extremely good.
The Midnight Dancers: The Twelve Dancing Princesses, focusing on mostly new characters with a side character from Waking Rose in the soldier role. A slighter story with a pricklier main character, but it’s a strong contender for my favorite in the series, exploring the connections between beauty and truth and goodness.
Alex O’Donnell and the 40 Cyberthieves: Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, starring Waking Rose side characters. This is a lighter adventure tale. All the stuff surrounding the hacking subplot is slightly ridiculous, but it’s one of the only YA novels I’ve ever seen that explores the realistic nuances of considering marriage with someone very different from you.
Rapunzel Let Down: Rapunzel. By far the darkest themes (it’s classified as an adult book). All new characters with some cameos. I thought it was decent on first read, but on reread, it blew me away with some of its themes (Except for a very melodramatic fifth act).
The Andari Chronicles by Kenley Davidson: Retellings set in a very mildly magical fantasy world, mostly focused on political intrigue.
Traitor’s Masque: Cinderella. 60% longer than it needs to be because of the extremely wordy writing style, and it makes me tear my hair out every time I try rereading, but the core conflict between the two brothers is compelling.
The Countess and the Frog: The Frog Prince. A short prequel novella focusing on a side character from the first book. I think it’s only available as a freebie on the author’s site but may be one of my favorite romances because the leads are so cute and sensible together.
Goldheart: Rumpelstiltskin. My favorite in the series, focused on a shy painter given an impossible task and the friends who help her get through it. The writing style’s much more concise here.
Pirouette: The Twelve Dancing Princesses. Political-intrigue focused. Also much wordier than it needs to be, though not as much as the first book. Twists the fairy tale in extremely interesting ways and has some great characters. (Prologue and epilogue are some of my favorite bits of writing in the series).
Shadow and Thorn: Beauty and the Beast. The most magical book in the series, and the most confusing because of that. There was one really cool moment with Beauty’s father, but otherwise I didn’t care for it all that much.
Daughter of Lies: Snow White with spies. Short, but fun. Reminds me of a Georgette Heyer farce.
Path of Secrets: Red Riding Hood with spies. I remember nothing about this story, which may tell you all you need to know.
Once: Six Historically Inspired Fairy Tales: What I think of as a kind of spin-off to the Rooglewood collections, this novella collection by six different authors retells six different fairy tales. My favorites are a dark but beautiful “Little Match Girl” retelling set in WWII, a steampunkish Rumpelstiltskin, and With Blossoms Gold, a Rapunzel retelling set in the Renaissance. (The only one I didn’t like at all was the Sleeping Beauty story).
Destined series by Kaylin Lee: Includes retellings of Cinderella, Rapunzel, Beauty and the Beast, Red Riding Hood, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty in one interconnected storyline. I’ve only read the first four; they’re okay-to-decent books whose main strength is the unique world they’re set in (think magical steampunky 1930s, which seems like a work of genius after you’ve been reading through a million retellings set in generically fairy tale kingdoms). My favorite is the fourth, Betrayed, which retells Little Red Riding Hood and mostly stands alone (until the last act veers it into a really complicated overarching plot).

So I’m rewatching Glee during this quarantine...
AND THERE HAS BEEN ONE THING IVE ALWAYS HATED ABOUT THIS GODDAMNED SHOW AND IT’S THE LACK OF CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Let me explain.... the storylines in the show had the potential to set up the character development for each character and they missed it! And the people that had the ABSOLUTE MOST POTENTIAL FOR AWESOME CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT WERE QUINN, RACHEL, SANTANA, AND BRITTANY AND HERE’S WHY... Quinn edition because this is way too long for the other characters... I promise i’ll follow this up with the other ones. (BTW, this took me so long to do because life kept getting in the way but I finally finished it! Please give it a read and let me know if you agree or disagree. I am always open to discussion!! And swipe down all the way to be blessed with a couple of Quinn Fabray gifs!!)
Quinn is the first because let’s think about it for a sec. In the beginning of the series, Quinn was that typical queen bee, mean girl type who was on the cheerleading squad and ruthlessly bullied anyone who got in her way including Rachel. But then life throws her a curveball and she ends up getting pregnant.
This storyline set Quinn up to learn some very valuable lessons and some harsh truths. For example, Quinn gets kicked off the cheerleading squad after the news comes out that she’s pregnant and she’s kicked out of her home and disowned.
The first season was doing great handling her character development, for example, in 1x15, when the time came for yearbook pictures, Quinn was desperately trying to get back on the squad for the picture but in the end she thanks Sue for making her realize that she’d rather be part of a team that is proud to have her (Glee Club) instead of a team where she only appears to belong (Cheerios). (let me add that this scene also could have set up a slowburn for Faberry because in that same episode, Rachel was describing how school pictures are everything to her and that if she ever became famous, she would want her face in the year book picture and be prepared. Keep this in mind because later on Quinn blackmails Sue into giving up one of the Cheerio’s six pages and giving it to the Glee club free of charge. Quinn didn’t have to do this. Her entire goal was to get back on the Cheerios and not fight for the glee club photo. In fact, in the episode, she didn’t even want to be in it. So why did she do it? For Rachel, perhaps? any way this is about Quinn not faberry so lets get back to it)
Another example from before is she becomes friends with Mercedes. In episode 1x16, Mercedes is forced to starve herself for the Cheerios and in doing so, her blood pressure dropped which caused her to faint. Quinn recognized what Mercedes was doing and sympathized with her. She then helped Mercedes realize that she doesn’t need to be skinny to be beautiful and she is perfect the way she is and she sings a song about it as well while Quinn stands next to her, furthering her message. This episode created a beautiful friendship between Quinn and Mercedes that in later episodes, Mercedes offers her home to Quinn after connecting with her about being bullied and dealing with it. Let’s also add in the fact that this was before the Lucy Caboosy storyline, which in my opinion ruined her character even more but I’m not gonna get into that until later. In that season, Mercedes and Quinn were set up to be a great duo for season 2 but... Where the hell did all of that go???? Did they just completely forget that Quinn lived with Mercedes for a short while and that they bonded over similar experiences??? What the hell??? I would also like to add onto here that a friendship between Quinn and Kurt was a HUGE miss! They would have been an amazing duo!! Along with Mercedes of course. I will talk about this type of stuff in separate post!
ANOTHER example was when in episode 1x13, the truth about the baby’s father comes out which was Rachel’s fault. After drama ensues, Rachel goes to apologize and readies herself for a punch from Quinn, but in a surprising turn of events...Quinn forgives her. The old Quinn probably would thrown multiple slushies in Rachel’s face, call her names and maybe ruin her life. But this Quinn quickly forgave her and told Rachel that she did something that she wasn’t brave enough to do, tell the truth! She forgave Rachel even though she clearly knew that Rachel only told Finn to break them up so she could have him all to herself. This was a very pivotal moment in the series that would show how Quinn emotionally matured after what happened to her. (this scene also would have set up faberry perfectly as well but oh well)
Anyway, the whole point of this post is about the lack of character development in the series and while everything I just said argues against it...the character development from season one didn’t last very long especially when we start right off the bat in season 2, Quinn rejoins the Cheerios and tries to restore herself to her former glory. I understand why she would want that again but this alone completely destroyed her character development because after learning all the things she had learned while pregnant, she shouldn’t have wanted to go back to that old life again but she did. Add that onto the fact that in order to restore herself to her former glory, she also snitches on Santana about her “summer surgery” Pregnant Quinn wouldn’t have even thought to rat out her own friends but new and improved Quinn did and I HATED IT because of that knowledge. This could have been handled better by probably having Quinn join the cheerios again but have her use her power for good such as, protecting all of glee club from future slushies, made it so the jocks wouldn’t have so much power with bullying, or even set an example for cheerios for how they should act in the school. But instead they pull this shit.
I’m not finished!! Season 2 and beyond was a DISASTER for Quinn. The writers literally erased all of that character development just so they could create more drama. An example of this is the cheating storyline. Quinn had started dating Sam in the beginning of Season 2 and everything is going well for them until *sigh* Finn came along and convinced her to cheat on Sam with him. THIS IS LITERALLY ONE OF THE WORST STORYLINES ON GLEE. Finn knows what it was like to be cheated on (I know he cheated on Quinn in the first episode with Rachel but we’re not talking about that right now) Finn knows the pain of finding out that you’ve been lied to and betrayed so the fact he even had the AUDACITY to lure Quinn into cheating AGAIN infuriates me deep inside. You would think that after what happened when she cheated the first time, she would learn her lesson...BUT SHE DIDN’T. WTF. THIS RUINED HER CHARACTER EVEN MORE!!!!!! PLUS I HATE ALL THE UNNECESSARY DRAMA THAT STORYLINE CREATED, INCLUDING THE FEUD BETWEEN RACHEL AND QUINN.
I would also like to talk about the Lucy Caboosey storyline because it is a crucial fact to know about Quinn. The Lucy Caboosey storyline was introduced at the WORST POSSIBLE TIME. I am seriously convinced that Ryan Murphy only wrote that in to create “depth” to Quinn’s character. If they were going to do that storyline at all, then they should have introduced it in the first season or should have created a better plot to accomodate to the storyline. This storyline also didn’t add anything to the Prom Queen storyline. I honestly wish that the writer’s have taken Quinn’s character development from season 1 into account because if they had, then I believe that the Lucy Caboosey storyline and the Prom Queen storyline wouldn’t have existed and these storylines only exist as Ryan Murphys attempt to reverse all of the depth that Dianna Agron gave to the character and make her a basic, self-centered blonde cheerleader and when that didn’t work out... the Lucy Caboosey storyline was there to give Quinn “depth”
I would also like to talk Quinn’s obsession with winning Prom Queen and taking Finn to the prom (Finn was an asshat in this episode by the way but let’s not focus on him). I really wished that the writers took Quinn’s character development into account because if they had, then Quinn wouldn’t have been reverted back into the 2 dimensional, blonde, cheerleader character like she was at the beginning of the series and she also wouldn’t have had a storyline involving Lucy Caboosey.  Her taking Finn to the prom was a complete bullshit storyline as well because we all know that relationship between Quinn and Finn was only there to drag the love triangle between them and rachel into the next season even though it was very clear that Quinn and Finn weren’t gonna get back together in the first season.
Also at the end of that season, where nationals took place, there was a scene between Quinn and Brittany and Santana where Quinn breaks down, this should have been one of those pivotal character development moments where she makes a realization about herself and tries to live her truth, but no! She cuts her hair and all is well.
Before we move on to season 3, I want to talk about the Celibacy Club and religion in regards to Quinn Fabray. As we all know, Quinn was the captain of the Cheerios and president of the Celibacy Club (even though that didn’t last long...whoops) so the theme of celibacy and religion go hand in hand for Quinn. I would have really like to see a storyline of Quinn losing faith in her religion, whether that may be because God decided to make Quinn pregnant and in result get disowned by her family or (in my perfect world) Quinn starts to realize that she might like girls and because of how her family is, she struggles with it. That would have been an interesting storyline to see and it would have tackled the topic of religion as well! I would have liked to see this as an ongoing theme for Quinn throughout the show but of course Ryan Murphy had to be a shitty writer.
This post became wayyyy to long for my attention span so I am going to break this down into parts. Also I am so sorry that this post is all over the place but I had to write it all down before I lost the train of thought so some explanations might not be as in depth as others and it might not be in order so again I apologize. So I will talk about Quinn in season 3 and the rest of the seasons when she shows up from time to time.

10 random facts:
I speak with a stutter (it’s not as bad as it used to be when I was little but I still have it and I’m still kind of insecure about it)
Refer back to my weighing over 200 pounds: I don’t even look it, and it’s kind of a trip to see women weigh less than me who are freaking huge. I’m as big as I am because the other alternative was literally starving to death: I almost became an anorexic when I was 13, and it came to a head when I was 19 and wouldn’t stop losing weight from depression. So as part of my recovery, I reconciled my relationship with food, and I just started eating. I’m trying to get up to 230 and tbh, I wouldn’t mind climbing up to 240.
It’s funny because I feel like such a rebel liking Joey as much as I do. The latest thing is to like fat boys and “dad bods”, and even taking it further and getting like almost morbid about it--when I was writing Have Your Cake I often lurked in the feedism tags on here to grasp the idea of the community; when I visit them now, the latest thing is to be like “this lifestyle is totally gonna kill you but you’re sooo hot so keep it up!”. This almost feels akin to when Audrey Hepburn came on the beauty scene with her thin elegance, the reaction to all of the full figured woman: he’s a slim, lush, gorgeous man who needs a lot more love (”raw beauty if I ever did see it” as Mr. Lang put it).
I’ve always wanted to get inked but I never know what to ink myself with, or where to put it for that matter.
The one time I ever cut my hair, like had it cut short, was 20 years ago in the first grade. The longest it’s ever been was down to the halfway point of my thigh when I was... 15? Right now it’s down around my butt.
Recovering cutter: I started in 2006 after my grandpa passed and then I stopped; did it again after my parents split in 2011, and again after Chris passed; I’ve been clean since August 22, 2017, three months following his death.
Chris was a fan of my art. It’s true! My little cartoons never would’ve become the entities they are now without him.
My cartoons have been labelled everything from “grunge” to “metal” to (recently) “emo”. I’m actually fine with just any label you throw at them: just don’t call them anime because that’s not technically correct (anime is animation; manga is printed works, and even that’s bit of a stretch)--my writing meanwhile has been simply labelled “unusual”
I’ve always been a fic writer, but I never actually wrote-wrote a fanfic until I was a freshman in high school. I never went online with a fic until 2013 and then I pretty much stopped it for a few years to focus on school and preserving my mental health until earlier this year with Have Your Cake and Eat It.
Fuuuuuuuck I love food. Yeah, when I say you’re better off asking me what I don’t like I mean it. I will eat just about anything (i’m actually surprised I’m not fat tbh). I’m as much a lady of the flesh as I am a lady of intellect.

Canon
(It’s) All Chair Parts, by novel_concept26
The whole point of the performance is to look hot as hell, and Santana is doing an awesome job. Too awesome.
Addicted, by SwingingCloud
“It always feels like years- and not just a few, short days- to Santana, whenever Brittany goes away.” Brittana. Marathon!sex. TWO-SHOT! SUMOSMU #9
Barter System, by crammit
Santana accepts a different kind of payment for helping Brittany out of a jam. (Rated M for language and smut)
Breathless!verse, by Swinging Cloud.
Breathless:
Fill for the GKM. “Long, pale fingers wrap tightly around her left wrist, guiding her hand up to push more firmly on Brittany’s throat- telling her that she’s ready- and Santana shivers as her palm presses just below Brittany’s jaw.” Brittana. Breath!play. Obvious smut.
Hypoxia:
Sequel to Breathless. “Brittany’s floored that Santana has come so far- far enough to trust her completely with not just her body, but with her very breath, with her life, and she concentrates hard on what she’s doing as she tightens her arm around Santana’s neck.” Brittana. Breath!play. Obvious smut. SUMOSMU #1
Bluish, by SwingingCloud
“Santana’s had about as much red, white, and blue as she can stand, but this blue- the blue of Brittany’s eyes- she will never have enough of.” Brittana. Sweet!smut. SUMOSMU HOLIDAY SPECIAL.
Dreams!verse, by everdreaming3:
Santana and Brittany’s story from meeting freshman year through their wedding and beyond (cute and fluffy, and filler for all the gaps that Glee left on the start of this story).
Dreams: from Santana’s POV
Dreamcatcher: from Brittany’s POV.
Dreaming in the Future: future one-shot
How to Win Even When You’ve Lost, by crammit
It was only ever you, by LoneGambit.
Brittany and Santana have been dating for a couple years now and have never tried using a strap-on. One night Santana asks Brittany if she misses being with a guy, her answer leaves Santana thinking.
Just a hug between friends, by furryewokazon: (this is actually deleted, but I have a copy if you are interested):
Santana smiled into the hand on her face… Written before ‘Sexy’ based on vague spoilers for that episode.
Keeping things interesting, by your-street-serenade:
How would Santana react if Brittany walked into the room with the new HeMo’s purple hair?
Let Me Take Care of You, by absedarian.
Santana walked through the quiet hallway of McKinley High School. It was late and the school was empty, as empty as she’d ever seen it. They had finished the mash-up several hours ago, but Santana could still feel the tingling in her fingers where she had slapped Finn.
Loved with Inspiration, by jellymankelly:
“A tiny part of her mind marvels at how effortlessly Brittany can reduce her to a stuttering idiot with little more than a look. The rest of her is busy trying to remember how to breathe. And failing.” M for coarse language and sexual themes. Two-shot.
Making the video!verse, by emmanuelles: those were actually deleted, but I can send them to you if someone is interested.
Making the video:
Catching Santana doing something private puts an idea into Brittany’s head. She secretly works out a brilliant three-step plan and manages to execute it. The story of Santana and Brittany making their own private video.
Ain’t no limit for what love allows:
A story about how Santana and Brittany explore their boundaries in bed, how they want to find out more about themselves and each other. Will it not be enough or will they go too far? Will they cross the line?
Mama Lopez!verse, by jerzeyredhead:
Mama Lopez’ rules:
One-Shot. Mama Lopez comes home early and finds Santana and Brittany in a compromising position. Now she has to give them the house rules of dating. T for some course language and sexual situations.
Conversations with Mama Lopez:
This continues “Mama Lopez’ Rules” – the week Santana is grounded and her mother is working from home. Rated T for mature-ish content and some bad language. Post 3x09. A little bit of Brittany, but mostly Santana and her Mama. This is a happy story!
Mama Lopez’ Valentine’s Day Rules:
Santana is planning her first Valentine’s Day date with Brittany. Mama Lopez tries to help and enforce some rules. Continues the adventures from Conversations with Mama Lopez and Mama Lopez’ Rules. Mostly T, but M for later sexy times. This is happy!
Graduating with Mama Lopez:
Santana and Quinn help Brittany with summer school, so Santana and Brittany can go to New York together. Mama Lopez is, as always, there to help. Mostly T, for swearing, but rated M for sweet lady loving in later chapters. Set after 3x22.
Mediterranean Dreams, by Scarlett’s Tara
“A persistent tickling near her ear nudged her into consciousness. When ignoring it failed, Santana twitched the muscles in one side of her face, reluctant to move her heavily relaxed limbs. The motion created a poorly muffled stream of giggles coming from somewhere above her head”.
Mine, by vontramp:
Canon Brittana one-shot based loosely around the lyrics to “Mine,” by Taylor Swift, thanks to Ryan Murphy’s Twitter leaks (beautiful, painful and so real. This is gold).
Missing You, by StraightShark
“And fuck…just thinking about it makes you horny. You miss her so much it’s driving you crazy. You used to be able to have sex with her whenever you wanted- even during school- to satisfy your sexual desire for HER…but now that you’re separated by what seemed like millions of miles it feels like you can barely control yourself”.
Moments, by ifshepromisedyouheaven
“I helped you paint your face, one half red, one yellow. I kissed you quickly, right on the apple of your cheek. You scrunched your nose, that cute smile that says don’t ever stop kissing me. The hard acrylic paint cracked and left ragged lines down your face. Still as beautiful as ever, years after high school, years after college, months after the birth of our son”.
My girlfriends’ sister’s keeper, by bodybroke:
This will basically just be random cute moments of Brittana/Brittany’s little sister Ashley, because I had a lot of fun writing them in that one, and there isn’t enough Brittany’s sister in fics.
No matter where in the sky, by LeighKelly:
“I used to wish on every shooting star for a future with you, and now that future is here, and I know it’s forever.” Following their first argument after moving in together, Brittany and Santana take a trip outside of the city to look at the stars, and remember just how important they’ll always be to one another. Post Season 5. One Shot.
One in a million paradaise, by LeighKelly:
In the middle of their weeklong vacation at the beach, Brittany is surprised by what Santana has planned for their Fourth of July together. One-shot.
Picking up the pieces, by Ebony-Jayne
Brittany is there for Santana after the disastrous coming out to her Abuela and some of Brittany’s own insecurities pop up in the process…Brittana.
Pizza in Louisville, by Scarlett’s Tara
Cheer practice hardly caused her to break a sweat anymore. Perhaps it was years under the wrath of Sue Sylvester. Or maybe that she had always been one of the top three members of the team and given the most complicated parts of their routines. Or likely the fact that the presence of a certain someone made her more inclined to show off.
Taking the long way!verse, by lingeringlilies.
Taking the long way:
Santana’s journey toward self-acceptance through love, loss, friends, career and family. Contains Glee history through “Original Song.” Rated M for sex.
Me and You and Daisies:
“Maybe ‘happily ever afters’ don’t exist. Maybe they’re fragmented and sprinkled throughout our lives to remind us to keep moving forward. Maybe, if we look from the right angle and maneuver the pieces just so, they become a masterpiece we keep adding to until the day we die.” Future fic, Brittana as mothers. Sequel to “Taking the Long Way,” but can stand independently.
Me and You and Daisies: The DVD Extras
One-shots related to the Lopez-Pierce Family as depicted in “Me and You and Daisies”
Through the Dark
Why would Brittany ever leave Santana after eight solid, happy years together?
Ruby Tuesday
“You gaze down at her as though your heart were growing bigger with every snuffle and jerk of her tiny body. For the first time in a long time, you start to sing.” Oneshot, Me and You and Daisies 'verse.
Nesting
Easter for the Lopez-Pierce family when Caleb is two. MaYaD 'verse.
Yours&Mine
“Mine!” Ruby chirped, reaching her pudgy fist up to grab at the cup of markers on the dining room table”.
The (Second) First Time, by thefooliam: It’s the same way that makes Santana think they’ll be doing stuff like this forever. Spoilers for 3x05 “The First Time”.
The PreBowery!verse, by crammit:

Unable to concentrate on the paper she has to write, Brittany decides to see if Santana is up for a study break. – Rated M for smut and language

A Second Life!verse, by everdreaming3
A Second Life
There are some people who go through life just existing and not really living. Brittany Pierce was one of those people. She goes through the day to day motions of her life without much hope for the future. That is until she meets a woman that breaks her out of her dull existence and gives her an opportunity for a second life. Brittana AU
I Remember When

You were the choice I made before I knew what the other choices were
Summer comes and goes in the quiet moments. It comes and goes in the quiet moments of time passing away from the critical eyes of high school, where they can just be the them that they always are when it’s just Brittany-and-Santana. It comes and goes like a flower unfurling its petals towards the sun in the new beginning of a different sunrise every morning.
Somewhere along the way we must grow up, not perfect, but up and out
Autumn comes and goes in the quiet moments. It comes and goes in the quiet moments of time passing between classes and in secluded hallways, where bravery grows as they fight to protect their love from the clumsy fingers of careless teenagers and smear campaigns and familial rejection. It comes and goes like a golden leaf free falling through the air with its unconscious courage as it leaves everything it knows and throws itself into the unknown for just the chance at love and happiness.
That winter you left me snow-blind
Winter comes and goes in the quiet moments. It comes and goes in the quiet moments of time passing between snowfalls and mistletoe kisses, where they can finally stop holding their breaths and instead bask in the warmth of acceptance despite the winter wind. It comes and goes like lazy Sunday mornings where the alarm clock is a cold nose against skin as snow covers the town in a fresh beginning.

Clueless (1995)
I found myself watching clueless and I must say I don’t really understand the premise of the whole thing. I mean the movie itself is funny and I really like the cast, but there is no major plot. Plus, the love interest includes Cher a high school girl that is pretty clueless (hence the title) and Josh, an older college boy who happens to be her ex-stepbrother which sets off red flags alone. I guess one can make the argument that they are not really siblings and even the marriage between his mom and her dad was short lived. Josh seems to be more of an apprentice of her dad.
I was pleasantly pleased that they decided to cast a young Paul Rudd for the position for Josh, because let’s be honest- Paul is a hottie for today’s standards and you add that personality and wit – he is the complete package. However back to my main point, the movie lacks conviction. I will say I am appreciative it doesn’t fall under one of the 90’s clichés.
I like how Cher and Dion take on befriending the different new girl, but I must say I’m not a fan of the way they try to change her as a person all together I mean c’mon Cher your really going to pressure her to date the kind of guys you find acceptable (by the way the guy you picked for her was a total jerk). Please don’t even get me started with how Cher made her work out and read books about unhealthy diet culture. BOO!
What Cher lacks in she sure makes up for it in compassion for others. The writers play it off like she is an ungrateful spoiled little girl, but deep down she cares about people and her skills go way beyond shopping and looking cute.
Also, Tai is such a sweet soul and I really do like her and her funky spirit. It really is tragic about the actress that plays her Brittany Murphy. God rest her soul, she seemed like such a damaged girl. You could see it in the eyes, but I love the way she radiated in this film, you know before she dropped the weight and bleached her hair. I like her like this.
One thing I don’t understand is that Cher doesn’t seem to figure out she has romantic feelings for Josh because truthfully, I don’t think she looks at him in that way, but when Tai begins to announce her interest in him, she suddenly has a problem with it. I think it was jealousy, not a romantic way but more so I have the feeling that Cher felt like Tai was taking over her life. After the incident at the mall, she (Tai) begins to act harsh and uptight. All the attention once aimed at Cher was now on Tai, so when Josh gave her the time of day, I think that really hit the nail on the coffin for Cher. Josh is always there for Cher, and he obviously likes her, I think he’s always had a little bit of a crush on her, but the relationship he had with her father got in the way.
Which by the way, Its’ hilariously obvious that Cher’s father is in on the set up of Josh and Cher, it’s almost like he was the puppet master of the entire ensemble. Cher’s father plays a very interesting role, and I must say there is something rather admirable about the way Cher looks out for her father like the way she takes care of him, making sure he eats healthy and takes care of himself physically which may have to do with her taking on the role because her mother died shortly after Cher was born.
Overall I would watch it again and even recommend it to a friend but I will advise them that I like the movie but in the same sense of liking trash TV. What movie should I do next?

Overall Thoughts: Welcome to part one of five of the Rachel Berry Pity Party Extravaganza! Literally 80% of this episode is Rachel feeling sorry for herself and forcing everyone else to feel sorry for her too, even though we literally all know she’s going to get into NYADA anyway so why the fuck are you making us suffer through this. There’s a couple of surface stories that could have been interesting, but were dropped, and a few cute scenes, but for the most part this episode is just boring and obnoxious.
What I Like:
I like that we got a little bit of insight into why Blaine wears hair gel, but I mean, I would have loved to get more. It feels like they just scratched the surface of it, which sucks.
When Mike and Tina arrive at prom and Mike is like “I actually really love dinosaurs”
Santana calling Rachel out on her bullshit in front of the entire choir room (even though it’s later ruined by her and Quinn making Rachel prom queen)
Quinn winning prom queen (officially). Personally, seeing Quinn say she won felt far more satisfying than watching Rachel win because Quinn and Santana felt sorry for her.
You know what else was more satisfying? When Puck crowns Becky queen of the anti-prom.
Honestly, Puck in general is really sweet in this episode, and I so wish we’d gotten more interactions between him and Becky because they’re freaking hilarious.
The couple of Klaine scenes we get.
The short little Samcedes scene. I’m also glad we got to see what happened to Shane. I’m glad that he’s happy. He deserves it.
The scene between Quinn and Rachel. Though, again, kind of ruined by Rachel winning prom queen.
“Quinn, stop making out with Berry and get in here”
What I Don’t Like:
Every single aspect of Rachel’s story in this episode is obnoxious as fuck and so unnecessary. Listen, even when this first aired everybody and their mother knew Rachel was going to get into NYADA because SURPRISE Rachel always gets what she wants! So forcing us to watch five fucking episodes where Rachel throws a pity party over it is so goddamn stupid.
Rachel winning prom queen. It was so unnecessary, and just makes my eyes roll every time. It figures that the only time a glee member wins without it being an act of bullying is Rachel. It should have been Quinn. It felt right that it was Quinn. I hate this show.
Brittany is just straight up mean in this episode. The way she basically ruins everything the prom committee has been working on for months because she has a whim is awful, and then she tells them they should be in jail, but they’re bullying her by saying dinosaurs isn’t a good theme. Oh, and then she tells Blaine she’s banning hair gel because “I don’t like the way you look” like WHAT. She literally banned hair gel so that Blaine couldn’t wear it. That’s it, that’s the whole reason. Also, her excuse that it wasn’t invented in the stone ages is so flimsy, Glee, like are you trying to tell me that every other person in that prom didn’t have a gallon of hair spray in their hair? Do you think that was around in the stone ages? Give me a break.
Finn is so… holy fuck. The way he treats Quinn in this episode is absolutely inexcusable. First of all, she just started being able to walk, so even her desire to walk onto the stage and get her crown is unrealistic. She can barely stand in one place. The fact that Finn is acting like she lied to everyone when this obviously just happened is so ridiculous. Then, he literally assaults her and tries to physically remove her from her wheelchair, but it’s supposed to be okay because he’s doing it for the woman he loves? RACHEL DIDN’T ASK HIM TO DO THAT. In fact, she goes and apologizes to Quinn for being immature about her and Finn’s campaign, which was really big of her. As much as it annoys me that Rachel won prom queen, it annoys me even more that Finn won prom king after this episode, because Jesus Christ.
Songs:
Big Girls Don’t Cry: I’m not that big of a fan of this song, especially since they cut the best part out of the episode.
Dinosaur: Whose idea was it to do this?
Love You Like a Love Song: I don’t mind this song, but I find it a bit of an odd choice for prom? Like, it’s not really a dance-y song? I don’t know.
What Makes You Beautiful: This is one of those songs that I’m like eh, whatever, I won’t skip it if it comes on iTunes but it also isn’t something I’m ever like “dang I gotta listen to this song right now”
Take My Breath Away: A sweet and emotional song to end the episode with!
Final Thoughts: Ugh. This episode is so… ugh. I don’t really know what else to say. It has a few cute moments, but for the most part it’s just… ugh. It’s too bad, considering how amazing season two’s prom episode was.
