I've been makin little guys! they are 3d printed from a model I designed and they use standard bottle tops, which I have been painting and sealing! I love these little dudes SO much and painting the caps has been a ton of fun.

ohh this is true. i will now begin to explain it to my audience of probably one (1) who already knows everything about it.

heartbreaking: mentally ill star crossed noble lovers are betrothed to absolute cinnamon rolls who don’t understand why their fiancés don’t love them.

in all seriousness it is pretty messed up. brinne and adrian went through an abundance of childhood trauma together and latched onto each other like the codependent traumabonded almost-gays that they are. despite being the children of the most respected people in the entire country, all of the other nobles hated them during childhood, and honestly still do, so they’re all each other has ever had. after brinne started distancing herself from adrian following artemis’s massacre, she practically lost her mind from the sheer isolation without him. even when she warms up to adrian again, it takes time for her to be able to genuinely open up to him like she did as a teenager. they both just kind of vaguely angst and then fuck nasty about it in the castle’s chapel.

and then right in the middle of her healing kori enters. and it gets So Much Worse. brinne adopted naturally hostile responses to most people even before the trauma of the massacre, so you can imagine that her reactions to new people are not so welcoming. yes she was somewhat prepared to meet the person she’s been betrothed to since childhood, but she was not expecting him to be seventeen. she was not expecting him to be a golden retriever boy who everyone fawns over. she was not expecting him to fall head over heels in love with her two seconds after seeing her. he’s the perfect guy, and she’s pissed. she has no trouble making sure kori knows that the sight of him repulses her. kori isn’t entirely oblivious (brinne is blunt as hell), but he stays optimistic through all of this. he’s definitely upset that his fiancée doesn’t love him, but wants to do his best to make her at least like him, so he keeps shooting his shot. he does not have the mind for politics, and while most of the nobles love him, none of them care about him enough to really get to know him. he’s extremely lonely and misses home. he just kind of wanders around confused most of the time, making it look like he’s happy and well-adjusted. kori also knows nothing about brinne’s affair with adrian, even though the entire noble court knows. none of them have the heart to tell him.

zuri is adrian’s fiancée. she’s a little different. she’s reserved and sweet and disciplined, and has tried to foster a good relationship with adrian for years. they just…don’t click. they’re too similar in too many ways for their relationship to truly be comfortable. zuri was also extremely shy as a child, and adrian was usually busy, so the two never developed a relationship early on. she knows about brinne and adrian’s affair, and has been aware of it since only a little while after it started. brinne and adrian were by no means subtle, and the nobles’ whispers about it became much louder over time. everyone pities her deeply, but no one wants to actually say anything about it. zuri tries to ignore it. she seeks adrian out and does nice things for him and tries to make herself attractive to him in all different ways. girl has tried everything at this point. it’s not working, and adrian feels awful about it. unlike brinne, he has a real connection to his obligations, and he also just values zuri deeply as a person. he can see how hard she’s trying and he wants to like her so, so bad. his demisexuality gets in the way of a lot of it, too (not that he knows what that is). zuri has no comfort, no real friends, and no support. she is putting everything into a relationship she knows is doomed to fail. adrian and zuri are a tragic couple and if they were given time and a little more anger inside, they would probably end up something like the alpha couple from tmg’s tallahassee album.

see, brinne and adrian are deeply in love and ultimately have no romantic interest in their fiancés. and kori and zuri are both the sweetest people ever and are distraught that their fiancés don’t love them back. in addition to this, kori and zuri’s personalities would match completely and they would likely give way to a relationship that helps them grow as people. the age gap between them is also smaller (still not great but it’s a fantasy story what do you want from me) and their life ideals match so much better together. i should just pair them up and let them be happy together, right? right? that would solve all the problems? or at least a lot of them? right?

well. i refuse to let anyone be happy. hope this helps :)

Guidelines

The first main thing that I care about is that if you are eighteen and over, as I do not like talking with minors as it's something that makes me uncomfortable. My range is EIGHTEEN to THIRTY. I do not care if you are over thirty, but I just have trouble connecting. Secondly, I do not have triggers or limits but if you do. Please tell me so I can respect yours. I do not roleplay in any dms, I will make us a server on Discord to discuss plotting and our roleplay. I normally do double ups but if you do not like to do that I understand. I am most comfortable with oc x cc but if you want oc x oc then we can do that. I can do cc x cc but I personally prefer the other two.

If we share the same love interest, that is fine with me that we double up or whatever. We can discuss more about it in the server.

I normally like to do fandom roleplays but however, I am open to anything. I think that is it for now.

I hate kevin so much! 🤬 Just when things were looking up for Stu, he has to go dig himself a new hole. Also, it's disgusting that of all the people in the world, it's Kevin who's the first to know Stu's secret. He didn't even get to tell Finny :((( And I hate that he had to split with Steven, and break his friendship with Jim and Ali. They were getting along so well too. 🥲 When Stu was panicking about whether Kevin had accidentally bonded him, I was horrified and praying so hard that that wasn't the case. Please tell me that Stu won't be bonded to Kevin at any point in time, please he deserves so much better than than 😭😭😭

Onto some happier stuff, I liked the part about Jossy getting attached to Stu, like awww that's going to be a very sweet friendship in the future 🥰🥰 And the Brokes scene ooomph! 🥵🥵 I love Ben being the romantic, only-one-omega type of alpha, and offering to protect Stui. Sigh. He's such a cutie patootie 🥺 Still rooting for Brinn to get back together though 😝🤣 But Brokes is slowly worming it's way into my heart, thanks to you!

Jos is super interesting because Stu can see his and Freddie’s relationship in how Jos acts around him but he’s also so intrigued by the omega because he’s doing what Stuart never did - being openly out.

I like Ben being kind of opposite to how you would expect him to be. He seems the type that, when he was younger, would have slept around a bit, so making him the romantic, soulmates type it fun to play with a different side of him. We’ll get more of this in a later work :)

Omega Jos!!! Did not see that coming AT ALL 🤯🤯🤯 I thought it would be Joe. I loved Stuart finally getting accepted into Ali's group and realizing who his real friends were. And I love that now, after Freddie, Stuart suspects everyone in the England team of being a secret omega, because it makes us as readers do the same. Previously, Stuart wasn't really suspicious of anyone, and because we're reading the fic through his eyes, I didn't really give much thought to whether anyone else was a secret omega on the team, and assumed stu was the only one, but now I'm wondering! Love the Brinn, have been waiting for that ever since you made cookerson official, which of course ruled out any chances of branderson 😉 And then KP finding out ugggh I'm so scared why did you have to break me like that?? And ending that chap on such a cliffhanger too, I can't wait to find out how everything turns out and hoping it doesn't go totally south for Stu. Loved this chapter, even with the horror ending 😭, looking forward to the next one! 💖

I have been trying to gain a grasp of Israeli perspective in the situation, and opinion articles have been very interesting reads. Also if you subscribe to the Jerusalem Post, they send like four emails a day.

I found a great read in both these opinion articles on Ben-Gvir. Is he racist or not racist? Both these articles focus on a specific statement the National Security minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, made during an interview last week:

“My right and that of my wife and my children, to travel on the roads in Judea and Samaria, is more important than the freedom of movement for Arabs." “That is the reality, that is the truth. My right to life precedes your freedom of movement"

I would say the general statement was racist. Specifying that HIS family's safety is more important than THEIR freedom creates a distinct divide, and clearly implies that Arabs are not the ones the security is intended to protect. Ben-Gvir claims the left media is attempting to twist his words, but he could have made a much simpler statement that clarified the protection of ALL civilians. Zina Rakhamilova made a great statement in her article criticizing his statement:

"Instead of explaining that these security measures are unfortunate – but necessary to protect civilian life (including Palestinian civilians), his rhetoric echoed Kahanist extremism and showed his blatant racism."

He's also doubled down on his statements - continuing to highlight his worry for protecting Israeli citizens and not their Palestinian neighbors. Ben-Gvir's statements also seem to enable racists in Israel to justify their own hate. As stated by David Brinn, the author behind the opinion piece defending Ben-Gvir,

"Although the vast majority of Palestinians are not terrorists, those in their midst whose life goal is to murder Israelis are the ones who created the reality that all have to live with now."

To me, this reads like the same defense people have used to discriminate against Muslims in the west too. Post-9/11 America and still today, Muslims face an incredible amount of bigotry. Trump's Muslim ban may not have lasted very long, but it certainly was not that long ago. Supporters of that ban presented similar ideas to Brinn here; not all Muslim people are terrorists but enough are, enough to warrant more limitations on a person based solely on their connection to a majority-Muslim state. While the West Gaza security may not completely ban Palestinians, it discriminately targets Palestinians as terrorists.

The national security minister in Israel making a decisive statement like this, one he continues to stand behind, does not bode well for peace. Neither does some of his other actions as minister, but I've gone on too long at this point.

The bastard daughter of an Orlesian comte, her mother was one of his wife's elven maids. When her mother died shortly after birth, he brought her to live with him in his estate. A large and smiling man, she remembers well the smell of his cologne and the fact that he used to have her sit with his daughter and his wife at the table. Héloïse's resemblance to her mother was slight enough that none but whispers would suggest her to be anything but human. His wife was less than pleased, but his daughter Henriette was thrilled to have a playmate. In spite of her mother's best attempts, she and Héloïse became fast friends. They were inseparable, but for public functions. A bastard could sit at a private dinner table, but she would do well to know her place when it came to parties and other functions.

Héloïse became interested in healing after watching a mage from the Circle of Magi heal a broken ankle - she and Henriette had been climbing trees, and her sister had fallen. She wished to do the same, but was informed that she could not. She was no mage, and ought to be glad of it. Still, she was convinced that not all healing was magical in nature. There were apothecaries and midwives, after all! She began to make frequent trips to the apothecary and peppered him with questions until he offered to teach her.

When she was eighteen, her step-mother put her foot down. She'd not suffer this girl in her home a moment longer - she was a woman grown. Her father set about trying to arrange a marriage, but Héloïse begged him to send her to university instead, wanting to study anatomy and healing as best she could. He gave his assent - and more importantly, his coin and a letter of recommendation to the university in Val Royeaux. At the same time, Henriette rejected a marriage proposal in favor of entering training to become a chevalier.

Though a decent student, Héloïse spent much of her time at university attending parties thrown by her much more important classmates. She became deeply involved with a married couple - though the relationship was not entirely healthy. She also became more politically aware than she had once been. During her last year of university, things turned sour, and she found it necessary to leave Val Royeaux. In a move that her professors deemed unnecessary and odd, Héloïse wrote to the Cumberland Circle of Magi in Nevarra for permission to study there. Who better knew the workings of the body than Mortalitasi, after all?

She was granted the chance to study and spent a couple of years there before beginning to make her way to the university in Starkhaven for more study, with brief stops along her way to lend a surgical hand or learn under some midwife or doctor or even magical healers hidden away.

When the War of the Lions broke out, her sister wrote her - with the Mage-Templar War on at the same time, they had found themselves desperately short on healers. Thus, they were forced to turn to physicians and surgeons such as Héloïse, and Henriette asked her to join the war on the side of the Empress to aid the troops. For lack of anything better and for want of practical use of her skills, Héloïse joined.

Just a week after she arrived, Henriette was killed by shrapnel from a ballista. Though she did her best, Héloïse could do nothing but make her comfortable. She remained with the troops after Henriette was burned with the rest, partially out of not knowing what to do - and part out of fear of being killed or kidnapped should she leave.

She's recruited by the Inquisitor as an agent in the Exalted Plains and comes to live at Skyhold. Upon joining the Inquisition, she strikes up a friendship wit another medic named Sovin.

Since they are able to create loops, they have been placed in charge of protecting the vast majority of peculiardom. Every ymbryne alive is a different species of bird, and there will never be two ymbrynes of the same species alive at the same time (e.g. there will never be another peregrine ymbryne while Miss Peregrine lives). Once an ymbryne is properly trained and graduates from the Ymbryne Academy, she makes and sustains a loop for the protection of the peculiars species. Peculiar children usually took precedent over peculiar adults, since they were more at risk. Peculiar animals were allowed in the vast majority of loops, but they also had loops specifically designed for them. As well as maintaining her loop, she also had to keep her wards fed, clothed, educated and safe. Several times each year she scouts for new, undiscovered peculiar children in need of help. She also takes part in sessions of peculiar government, traveling now and then for meetings of the Council of Ymbrynes.

🌼 (blossom) - When a stranger meets your oc, what’s the first thing they notice about them? What kind of vibes do they give off? Are they friendly and open? Cold and standoffish? Is the first impression people get accurate to who they actually are?

brinne projects exactly what she is comfortable with others seeing, which is almost nothing at all. although most idrisians usually bundle up, the only skin brinne exposes is her face above the veil she wears. she takes the cultural value of privacy to an extreme and has no trouble telling others through her appearance that she wants to be simultaneously invisible and imposing. her vibes are sharp and uninterested in conversation with you. that she’s only here because she has to be—she has no other place to go. she’s volatile and could kill you with a glance at any moment. she’s scary.

appearance is a large part of who brinne is, and her real mental illness + her projection of a darker personality have converged into one truth using appearance as a vessel. when she first started wearing her veil and dressing in black was when she first started to really change. when she first started to really change was when she first started wearing her veil and dressing in black. what she puts forward is all a very real coping mechanism, and slowly she embodies the darkness more, but that doesn’t mean it’s genuinely her. it’s only accurate to how she behaves.

Lunar Lineage: A Werewolf Legacy

Notes: Will probably make alterations/changes to rules as I am using my and a friends OC family for this challenge.

Generation 0: Becoming a Werewolf

Brinn was born from a very powerful clan of werewolves, yet born human. Disowned and run out of his home town, he traveled very far till met a young woman named Rain. The two hit it off quickly, becoming not only fast friends, but lovers. After the birth of their son Roran, Brinn tells Rain his family history. A part of him does wish to reconnect with that werewolf part, but he knows such creatures are dangerous, and does not know where to start. To his surprise, Rain informs him of Moonwood Mill. A small town that has a werewolf history…and is rumored to have two werewolf clans within. With her encouragement and support, he decides to pursue this lead and moves them to a small cottage within the town.
