depends  on  where  you’re  looking!!  on  this  indie  i  have  fourteen  muses.  plus  i  have  brigid  cousland  on  my  single  muse  indie  (  brokenlegacy  ).  but  on  my  pinterest  i  think  i  have  boards  for  about  eighteen  muses  (  +  archived  boards  ).  they’re  a  combination  of  ideas  for  future  muses  and  rp  dependent  muses.

oooOOOoooh.  probably  my  nusa  verse  with  @slecpbug​  and  @lcdiebird​.  that’s  been  a  thing  for  years  now  which  is  nuts  and  i  will  never  get  over  the  nusa  girls  who  i  will  throw  down  for  any day  of  the  week.  fallen  from  grace  social  butterfly !!  rebelling  against  your  traditional  town’s  expectations  !!  reuniting  as  friends  after  a  falling  out  !!  taking  the  new  girl  under  your  wing  bc  everyone  else  is  the  worst  !!  i  love  it.

fun  side  note  ,  back  in  my  early  polyvore  days  i  ONLY  used  dianna  agron  as  a  faceclaim  because  of  an  unhealthy  obsession  with  her  and  glee.  but  nowadays  i  rlly  love  alex  fitzalan  as  a  fc  ,  which  is  very  random  but  every  time  i  see  him  used  in  an  rp  i’m  amazed.  actually  ,  same  goes  for  any  of  the  society  cast  members.

     WHEN SHE BECAME A GREY WARDEN SHE SWORE OFF RETURNING TO POLITICS.  it felt too close to the world she had just lost.  highever had always been her destiny, and for a long time she believed that if she could she would go back and fight for it harder.  if she was still the woman she had been before howe ripped her life from her, she would gladly return to the ferelden court.  but when she engages in politics and the such, it feels wrong ⏤ the talk of military and construction remind her of her father’s study, the tittering of court gossips make her wish her mother was at her side rolling her eyes without care.  it all seems to belong to a life she can’t go back to.  that is why she so readily accepted the fact that alistair did not wish to become king ( in my world state at least ) because she knew the game of politics and intrigue was not for everyone, even the ferelden game.  she still has the head for it, her lessons and habits learned while still the lady cousland didn’t just disappear.  the point is, politics are not her priority anymore. 

     STILL, she could not say no to becoming the warden commander.  this person and that person promised she would have little to do with the arling itself (  a lie ).  nonetheless, the grey wardens were supposed to be above politics, to busy themselves with the blight and darkspawn, not the petty dramatics of nobles.  it felt like she could still help people as warden commander without feeling too close to the ghosts of her family.  and yes, she is a fucking brat when the seneschal says she has to attend court and half the time she lets him rule in her favor.  in fact, she’s barely at the keep, preferring to travel around ferelden even if it means sleeping under the open sky.  

     UNFORTUNATELY, as much as the ferelden nobility swear they don’t want to involve the grey wardens in their political squabbles, brigid is often pulled back to denerim to sort things out until she dips during inquisition.  her canonically sending the letter to the inquisitor is her finally ridding of herself of the duty of being involved in every damn problem in thedas.

It's still Tuesday over here. I don't think I have asked this. Who is your Hero of Ferelden in your main storyline? Either Just Say Lass or Lightning Struck.

Canonically in both of those (Abby shares canon with Cullen/Evelyn in Lightning Struck for the most part) my HoF is Brigid Cousland, who marries Alistair and ends up Queen of Ferelden.

The funny thing is my Warden is actually my DA OC who changes the most, and I’ve only played a portion of a “Canon” Brigid run, which I started after I was actually writing fic. I usually play Cousland but the way I play my Warden changes all the time, so I’ve never written more about her than in passing - hey the HoF who married Alistair and is our Queen! - because I don’t have a full grasp on her as a character. And I’m not sure how much I’ll ever flesh her out, really - I love messing around with DA:O and just having fun each playthrough. But maybe eventually.

❛ this entire situation is starting to sound like one of the bad jokes my brother’s would make. ❜ every mention of her family bought with it a sharp shooting pain deep in her gut. remembrance enough that she did it as often as she could bear lest she forget all she needed. their names had been a near constant whisper to herself as she fled southwards, on the way to meet the king and the wardens and the army that thought they would stop a blight before it really started. blood covered, horrified and torn. all the magic she’d been taught to supress almost bursting out of her. the stark and that old mage blood. the only reason in the end that sansa had survived. she’d never made it so far as to see her job done. with loghain’s betrayal any hope’s sansa had for justice had vanished. she’d been in lothering, bereft and directionless, near inconsolable when the direction she’d needed had walked in. the face of a woman that should be dead was rarely a welcome sight but just this once it had been everything sansa had needed. robb was either lost or dead; disappeared right alongside fergus cousland.  and now, here they were; brigid knew the secret that catelyn had helped sansa keep her entire life, and sansa had attached herself to the party. she didn’t care about the blight but she did care about seeing justice done. if helping to kill an archdemon and end a blight was the best way to that then so be it. ❛ an apostate and a warden walk into a bar-- if only the punchline had a hope of being funny. ❜

TMI! Would you ever consider writing in the DAO universe and if yes, what would you write about and who would be the LI?

I have a fic started for DAO but I got 2 chapters in, realized just how DAUNTING that game is, and set it down. I’m really proud of the first two chapters and would be interested in continuing it but that seriously needs a strict outline. Way too much to tackle. (If you’re interested - Out of the Ashes on ao3).

I’m even more of a one trick pony when it comes to DAO than I am with DAI and Cullen - I LOVE Alistair. I have always loved Alistair, I will always love Alistair, and it’s funny that I don’t talk about him that much considering how much I love him. I got DAO when I was going through an insanely rough break-up and was severely depressed, and playing through Alistair’s romance (way too many times...like seriously way too many times) was seriously healing. He’s so pure, and romantic, and gave me hope again.

I think I’ve managed one playthrough romancing Leliana, but otherwise - Alistair. Always.

When I started Out of the Ashes I chose Tabris because I feared at the time writing my Brigid Cousland would turn into Evelyn 2.0, but also I had a really fun (”fun” - I mean angsty) idea for handling a Tabris with PTSD and trauma from her origins story. Seriously though there’s so much to cover with DAO I’ll have to make a plan if I ever intend to pick that fic up again.
