Okay. So! Cool idea I just had!

I figured that since Phiona is a tarot maiden, I figured that maybe her wand has different forms that represent the minor arcana! The sword is self-explanatory, Cups is a whip, the Wand is a scythe (The wand represents earth, and scythes are used for harvesting, and The Pentacle is either a dagger or a broomstick (still deciding.)

So yeah, I decided to stick with the bat wings. I'm still tossing up whether to make her a fairy or a demon, but right now I'm slightly leaning towards Bat wings, cause what if fairies with bat wings are seen as an ill omen, or otherwise ostracized from other fairy courts, even the unseelie court. It could also tie into her backstory.

Hags

Hags, often related to or mistaken as vampires, are a type of unseelie fey known for their dark magic and hunger for blood and mortal flesh. If they are not brutal nobles who pursue power through the most ruthless means possible, they are ostracized spell casters who use their spells to hex the mortals. They are born from flowers, grown after a ritual using the blood of a hag to be born. They typically take the shape of mammals, with non-mammal and insectoid features. This includes, but is not limited to, bat wings, feathered wings, insect wings, pointed tails, flower tails, claws, fangs, multiple eyes, unnatural skin/fur/scale/hair/eye color, shifting abilities, the ability to unnaturally warp their voices at will, forked/elongated tongues, natural access to magic. 

Most Hags are villainized and hunted by Paladins and would-be heroes looking to make a name for themselves. Hags are also feared among the seelie and unseelie courts for their power but are often sought out and even exploited for that power.

Phiona hates gambling-related games, which is funny because she would be scarily good at games like poker, blackjack, and baccarat.

She's a dancer, an circus acrobat/clown, and her mother Roselyne trained her how to fight.

So if she kicks you, a bone is getting broken. No question asked.

Phiona does roller derby! However it's not... conventional roller derby. It involves magic, and weird tracks... and swords.

After deciding to make Phiona's tarot cards circular, I figured they would be kept in a compact similar to Musa's bag from winx!!

The compact not only serves to hold her cards, but is also a makeup compact, an altoid wallet, and her spellbook!! And yes. She hand made it herself.

I'd like to think that the first thing a witch learns is how to weave their magic more subtly. Cleaning, Cooking, Sewing their own clothes, making their own jewelry, and making their own makeup and skin/hair care products are just simple things that teach them how to not only weave their spells but also be self-efficient.

Something to note about Phiona. Girly pop's accent is THICK. That and sometime when she's really lost in thought she'll just switch from English, to Spanish and back again.

Phiona's craft is similar to Princess Peach's heart power. Drawing fey magic from both the seelie and unseelie court since Laura and Carmilla are from both courts respectively. From Laura she gets her powers of divination and healing, white roses, while her more destructive magic is from Carmilla, red roses.
