Caeda, Talys's Bride

the happy vision of a wedding chapel falls away like a fleeting dream, and caeda's eyes open to be assaulted with the stench of what could be described as a rotting corpse. her nose scrunches in digust as the smell intensifies with the realization.

her bridal gown has been thrown away, leaving her on a strange bird-like mount with the armor of a pegasus knight. it's a little bit different than what's she used to— but far better than the magic of a bride that she is not used to unleashing on others. a sword in her hand now and wearing far more familiar armor, caeda feels right at home.

… though home is most definitely not a murky bog turned cemetary, with the living dead standing in there way. she just barely manages to catch the tattooed man go down, then get up and be completely fine in that very same breath. like she was witnessing elice use the aum staff to resurrect a fallen ally.

mae's sass does make her smile though, letting out a quite pfft even with the smell of rotting corpse assaulting her nose. "alright then.." caeda mutters to herself, unsheathing her sword. it was a golden heroic blade, as if crafted by the gods themselves.

pulling on the reins of her bird… thing, she finds it controls more like a pegasus does than a wyvern. "let's go boy!" she pats the bird's head, rusing in to attack the undead boss before her.

she rises up high into the sky, then dives straight into the boss and unleashing two devastatingly solid bows. it groans the first time her blade meets its strange rotting flesh, then lets out a screech before she can deliver the second. "nngh!" caeda grunts, letting go of her reign and flowing her swordless arm over her face to protect her vital point. she clenches the saddle with her leg muscles, holding on while she dives in for her second strike. again it stabs into the rotting flesh of the lich, but it doesn't seem to react to the pain of a strike like a human does.

Land of Decay Activates! 1 stack of Poison Gas is inflicted on Caeda!

she grabs ahold of one rein again, pulling back as she starts to cough from the gas in the air. so they were going to go through this again, huh?

I woke up with this silly idea of Clueless Marth, which I love to death in him! also Shiida is perfect girl, no matter how I keep hearing people dislike her a lot!

also I ship Merric with Elice for too long, I wish Elice would be brought to heroes sometime too!

caeda does not wonder around the monastery at the dead of the night very often, but when she does it is for very good reason only. in this particular instance, it is with the hope of helping someone who seemed to be the subject of gossip and rumors lately. she… wasnt sure if they actually existed, but if they did she was only going to find them in the night time.

that was when all the students saw her, of course. the woman in a full bridal outfit, a long wedding veil and tiara fixed upon her head and ghostly pale skin— some say she was weeping when they saw her but others say she had yelled at them to leave her alone with so much malice it could poison the very heart. the rumors are all wildly different, but caeda is determined to find her.

a woman crying and/or angry in an outfit fit for a bride could only mean one thing. what was that? troubles of the heart of course. and caeda would be damned if she left a woman to wallow in her heartache alone. thus, she finds herself searching for this mysterious ‘woman in wedding white’.

even caeda, as stubborn and fearless as she is, could admit that the monastery grounds at night were something born out of a scary story told in campfire light. no matter, though, fear would not stop her. the pegasus knight whispers a gentle excuse me as she opens the glasshouse doors, careful not to make too much noise.

she could very well get in trouble for this kind of thing, after all. caeda pauses at the sight of a feminine figure, their appearance obscured by the darkness of the night. could it be..? “ah, hello…?” she says in just a loud enough voice for the figure to hear her.

Recently S-supported my bridal Caeda and Marth, and I was curious as to what was actually said during their conversations. So, I guessed! Fun.

she wakes up with a gasp, pressing a hand against what she expects to be her bloodied, cloth torn stomach. instead, caeda feels something and frilly— a wedding dress that reminded her much of her wedding with marth when she looked down at it in confusion. she is not quite so much embarrassed but it is rather strange— and then she hears wedding bells rings and looks up in further confusion. flower petals rain from the sky as if congratulating a married couple, with a red carpet cloth leading down the aisle to a flower arbor.

a wedding venue— or perhaps a church? those are the only ways she could describe their current battlefield. the pegasus knight bride grunts as she stands up, careful not to trip over her dress as she grips her weapon. two enemies stand before them at the end of the aisle, as if waiting to be married by a priest.

gods, she forgot how heavy her wedding dress had been— this she laments as she carefully stands herself upright. "…let's not be distracted by the strange battlefield this time, everyone." she warns with the voice of a queen, a drop of sweat dripping down her cheek.

… it's a little hard to take her enemies seriously when they too are dressing in wedding outfits.

her head turns to look at her allies for a moment, pausing at the sight of the man who had betrayed rose twice now in a tight white wedidng suit befit for that of a prince from a noble land. her lips purse tight as she tries not to laugh— and thankfully succeeds in doing so.

Caeda 5/10HP heals +2HP from Bond And Amaterasu! 7/10HP

"let us get rid of the armored enemy first!" she encourages after she has calmed from her amusement. the other three do look quite nice in their outfits, encouraging caeda herself to act with a little more confidence.

Caeda 7/10HP hits Golden Shield: Liger 19/20HP with Candlelight [ Roll: 13, 4 - 2 Res = -2HP ; Golden Shield Liger 17/20HP ; Seal Resistance resets Golden Shield: Liger Res to 0 ]

caeda raises her hand with the lightstick gripped carefully by her gloved fingers. a strange soothing light emerges from the tip of the candlestick despite her unfamiliarity with the weapon, and she watches as the shield somehow seems to weaken against such magic. "come then, let us bring love straight to our enemy's door!" she smiles brightly, deciding that— if nothing— they should have a little more fun after how the last fight turned out.
