A waiter came to take their food ordering & which are very quickly as they thought. As the ladies waited, Snow, Briar Rose and Cinderella were talking & they had a series of topics. From talking about fashion, the past and even their ex-husband. Charming. Keira didn't say anything as she was thinking and unsure whether to do this again with the three former princesses. So Keira sat and listened and drank some of her wine. The starter came quicker than expected, Waiter: Your starters, today's soup is Cauliflower Cheese. The Waiter placed the bowls in front of each of the ladies.

Keira was looking forward & she was a bit curious about how the former princesses how'd their soup. Briar Rose adding some pepper to her soup, and Snow put butter on the warm crusty bread. Cinderella: You never guess who came to the shop the other day? Snow: Who? Cinderella: Miss Muffet Briar: What does she want? Cinderella: She told me she has a date with Mr Web.

ANTAGONISTS.    briefly snow white, but they made up.  he has an intermittent rivalry with bigby wolf and a former rivalry with king hrothgar and beowulf, but his true enemies are the enemies of the people he loves  --  georgie, jersey, the crooked man, the tweedles, and ichabod crane. COLORS.    gold, navy blue, burgundy red, tawny orange, swamp green, pale yellow, turquoise. FRUITS.    strawberries, starfruit, honeydew, mango, guava, dragonfruit, lime. DRINKS.    iced tea, lemonade, vodka smoothies, almond milk, iced water at 3AM.  ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES?    cherry brandy and decent rum. SMOKES?    socially. DRUGS?    painkillers, mostly.  to dull the noise.  and everything else.

DRIVERS LICENSE?    yeah, but he has to periodically renew it whenever he kills off an alias.

fables/twau rant! i’ll do y’all a favor by putting it behind a read-more

rereading it all has refreshed me on bigby adn snow’s relationship after the game. during twau they’re more or less on friendly terms. at least more friendlier than they are in the beginning of fables and for a while until after storybook love.

i’m guessing their relationship, as friendly coworkers at least, strains after king cole promotes snow to deputy mayor. in the beginning of the comics, you see a frustrated and very stressed woman. she’s assumed crane’s role and all the responsibilities that comes with it. snow manages NOT to be a corrupt fuck who launders money and gets involved with the underground businesses of fabletown. nonetheless, she learns that the job requires much more of her than she is probably willing to admit but she is damn good at her job.

meanwhile i assume bigby was happy that fabletown was in the hands of a more than capable person but was left to leave his feelings where they were and remain professional for long while until fables 01 starts

... i mean that is, unless we’re assuming the entirety of twau is a separate storyline, outside the timeline of fables. which i dooooooubt?

anyway as i keep rereading this i’ve started to think about season 2 and any pre-established fable making an appearance in the game and i’m forced to admit that some characters i’d like to appear may not show up (aka charming) BUT i’m still excited bc that still leaves others:

rose red, first and foremost! she and jack date for a while (four years iirc one of them says) and they make it their business to annoy the hell out of snow and make a mess of things. she lives in the village, away from fabletown, but it’s possible for her to make an appearance!

boy blue! depending on where in time season 2 takes place that is. he works under snow like she to crane when he was in charge. if we jump to winter or hell, even a little after season 1, cole may have already assigned him if snow gets a quick promotion.

king cole! the jolly ol’ king of fabletown. he is mostly a glad handler and remains out of sight for a while in the comics so the same could be said in the game and he’d only be mentioned by name. STILL i’d like to see the guy.

pinocchio! idk wild card, bitches? he lives in the woodlands and shows up in the comics early, talking to cinderella during the remembrance ceremony.  he’s a big mouthed lil punk who is bffs with boy blue and flycatcher so maybe???

cinderella! her shoe shop, the glass slipper, was revealed to be on the same street as the woodlands so there could be a chance we’d get to see my second favorite female character! it’s not revealed until later in the comics that she’s an agent of bigby’s but it is possible we could still see her! given there was a hidden model for her in the game’s files some years ago?

briar rose! LMAO IDK im grasping at straws but she does cause some trouble sometimes by falling asleep in the mundy stores and such.

now for returning fables:

bluebeard (he’s a punk but i long to hear lee everett’s voice again) he contributes the most money to fabletown so it would make sense to see him shoving himself into things and asserting himself. mostly i’m looking forward to see him and bigby bicker with the former ultimately bowing out like always. in the comics he seems to legit hate bigby enough to have pent up anger over time to  ultimately lead him to try to kill both bigby and snow. it’d be cool to see that build up.

colin! while we don’t find out until the second story of fables that he’s actually in the city (and constantly trying to not return to the farm) at the behest of his cousins, the other 2 of the 3 little pigs. he doesn’t do his job of recruiting animal fables to their cause nor does he do a good job of gathering intelligence but i admite i love his and bigby’s relationship. he reminds bigby he can’t run away from who he was and that it will always be a part of him. a problem he constantly struggles with.

flycatcher! while he’s the butt of jokes for a while and doesn’t truly shine until muuuuuuuch later into fables, i still love him! he’s a chill dude just eating bugs when no one’s looking. it’d be nice to see him work in the woodlands after everything that happened with the tweedles and the crooked man.

beauty & beast! i love their banter and that their marriage is far from the fairytale they come from. they, or rather, beauty in particular, are a source of snow’s deep jealousy. they have enough problems, both with money and beast’s curse, that need to be addressed constantly that i doubt we WON’T see them. or maybe not who knows LMAO

i have an idea for a fable that has not been mentioned but i’ll save that for another post bc i have a bad headachenow TIME TO GO BACK TO READING

I’m trying to make as many Fables/TWAU/Everafter/Fairest/Jack of Fables Sims I can to populate the town in my neighborhood in The Sims 2 and so far I’m having a blast.

The series Fables was created by Bill Willingham and published by Vertigo, winning more than a dozen Eisner Awards over the years. In this series, the beings from fairy tales had to escape from their homeworlds when a tyrant started enslaving and killing everybody in his way. Living in exile in the heart of NYC, the Fables hide their true nature from the mundane. By the end of the series they revealed themselves to the world and that’s the premise of the new series, Everafter.

I actually made a family with Snow’s mom, Lauda, had the two sisters and then had both Snow and Rose Red moving out. Bigby even considered having a love potion to seduce Snow, eerie similar to the Storybook Love plot, but in this case there was no Bluebeard in. Eventually they married and moved into a bigger house.

You can find Bigby’s shirt here, along with the recipe I used both for him and Snow.

In TWAU and earlier Mark Buckingham’s style we can see that Snow’s hair got some loops, so I decided to find a hair as similar to that and I’m happy with how it turned out.

Already started making the cubs, thanks to the life changing seasons wells pack. Winter certainly changed Maddy’s life already.

@parchmentpaperandco‘s apartments and community lots are great for my needs. I’m just going to change the wallpaper of his Imperial Heights and it’s an almost perfect Woodland Luxury Apartments. It’s only missing the lobby (and the Business and the Security Office. And the dungeons. But no need).  My Briar Rose is already living in there and the first thing she did was playing the bass.

Boothroyd Parade, from the same creator, is a good one for the general stores in Fabletown. I might want to do a lot myself for the landsmark places, like the Eggman Dinner and Web’s Market. Oh, and the Glass Slipper shoe store, of course. 

There’s also these NYC-styled apartments that look pretty good too, and very functional as well. Another good-looking for a NYC place is the Sinclaire Building. And this Gingerbread Cottage is perfect for Frau Totenkinder.

I also did a Flycatcher. In this picture he is visiting the Wolf family. His first course of action was to hold Winter. The second? Hold Maddy, who seems to enjoy him.

TWAU is actually a Vidya Game and not a show but ya it’s ok I was just confused ahaha.

The Menu came, and there were so many unusual meals, but the price was a bit high for Keira as she was just used to what she could cook, plus takeouts as she worked as part of security. Briar and Snow shared a menu, Briar: What are you going to have Snow? Snow: Last time I had pork, I think I want to have chicken, Brair: Which one? Snow: I think this one, Roast Chicken breast, Potato Puree and Pine Nuts.

Keira was sharing the menu with Cinderella, and she could see Cinderella was excited. Cinderella: First, I recommend you try their soup, they are the best, then next you should try this beef dish, it has freshly grown vegetables & their mashed potatoes have a great kick, with their sauce. Keira: This is a bit pricey for me & Plus I rarely eat meat, are you sure about this dish? Cinderella: Relax Keira. We are treating you & besides, this is sort of our thanks for what you did for us. Keira: But I didn't by myself. I had Bigby help on many cases & he is the sheriff. I don't think it would be fair to leave him out. Cinderella: I know, but this is ladies' night.

Briar: I knew they had something together Snow: Well, I wish them luck, Briar: I bet you Kerry, have someone you love? Keira was a bit started for a moment Keira: Well, I am not sure I will find anyone, but if I do, I would like someone who would treat me kindly, protect and always be there for me. Cinderella: Someone like Bigby? Keira blushed a little Snow: Cindy, don't be silly.

During the meal, Keira can hear all three former princesses talking about a range of topics, like what Briar brought this week, how was the business office for Snow & what is the new style in the shoe shop for Cinderella.

But Keira knew it wasn't much she couldn't talk about as they were talking about their ex-husband. So she quietly ate the soup and acted as if she was blending in the background.

Keira was walking passed the three ex wives as she overheard Briar, Snow and Cinderella talking, Briar: I suppose

Cinderella: And you big sneaky swan Cinderella sees Keira went by, as she want to speak to Keira. Keira: What is it Cindy? I am busy

Cinderella: I can’t believe you were Bigby’s mystery date Cinderella gave a bit of a blow nearly telling everyone that Bigby had a date and it was Keira Swan.

Keira: No Comment Keira was bit annoyed but trying stay cool, Cinderella: Come on, I deserve a little gossip after getting word out about show here.

Briar went passed Bluebeard who wore his tuxedo suit as well, Briar: He’s all yours Lord Bluebeard, no rest for the philanthropic This made Bluebeard grunt a little.

Bluebeard turned to see Briar towards Flycatcher. Briar: I’m sorry for leaving you waiting Ambrose Flycatcher: Of course, don’t mind at all Briar: Now where were we With that both Briar and Flycatcher were laughing and having a wonderful evening,

Not very far, Flycatcher and Briar Rose were dancing, and Flycatcher was bit shaken in his dance moves, Flycatcher: Uh… like this, it’s been a rather a long time, since I done any dancing Flycatcher hasn’t dance for long time since he danced with his deceased wife and he was the only one survive from his kingdom and so it's been long time since Flycatcher had a dance moment. 

Briar: You’re doing wonderfully Briar knows Flycatcher is doing his best of dancing.

With that Briar, Flycatcher, Bigby and Keira bumped to each other and even apologised to each other. Brair: Keira, darling Keira smiled nervously, Flycatcher: Didn’t know you had moves Sheriff Flycatcher was bit surprised to see Bigby dancing, Bigby: I don’t Bigby felt abit embarrassed but he didn’t want anyone knowing he was dancing just now.

As they waited, Briar Rose, Cinderella and Snow were talking and chatting about what they had been up to and news more. Eventually, they asked Keira how she was doing with the cases with Bigby. Keira: The other day, Bigby and I had to go to Mad's Bar & we eventually had to find Jack trying again to flirt with the ladies. Cinderella: Yeah, and he has just been dumped by Rose Red. Snow: It would be better if she were not going out with him. I can't seem to see why she takes him back. Briar: I am sure she won't give him another chance. The other day guess who I saw in Bullfinch Street, Edward Teach, he was in town, and I heard he was looking for Bluebeard. Terra/Receptionist: Table for 4. Table for Lady Rose, your table is ready Terra the Receptionist - @anideterm3

The waiter came and took the ladies to the table & the first thing Cinderella did was order wine. It was almost a while since Keira drank some wine & she does have champagne during Remembrance Ball. Plus, she would've usually had a soft drink or some water due to her work with Bigby, but Cinderella made sure she got Keira some alcohol for once and her out of her feathers. The waiter brought their wines. A glass of white wine for Cinderella, and there were even two red wines for Briar Rose and Snow White and even a glass of Pink Moscato for Keira. Cinderella: Cheers, and let's have this great evening. All ladies tinkled their glasses.

Keira turned to Briar Rose and Cinderella and began to speak Keira: So what can I do for you Briar: As you know us. The two of us & Snow have a gathering to chill and Cinderella: and we all thought from our last ladies' night we would add one more to make it fun & we thought of adding you Keira: Why me? I am not married, plus Lady Beauty would be perfect to go with you.

Briar: We know Lady Beauty is married & she will go on and on about her married life, Cinderella: Besides, she would think she the best of being a housewife, plus she does not have more feelings as you do

Keira: But I am just a protector & I am an animal in the past, not a glamour like you three

Briar: But your glamour now, just for one time to take an evening off Cinderella: I am sure Bigby will understand & besides, when did you have an evening off from work by yourself? Keira: Hardly Cinderella: Exactly, so when Bigby gets back, you can tell him that this Friday, you decide to have the evening off & I am sure he will let you

Flycatcher turned around and sees Briar Rose making her way to near him.

Flycatcher: Good evening Ms. Briar

Flycatcher smiled and try to stay calm,

Briar: You look dashing, green always been your colour

Briar sees Flycatcher’s Dark Green tie and jacket, along with his black dinner suit. 

This make Flycatcher getting shy and blushing.

Briar: You’re very kind ma’am, and you’re…

Flycatcher looks from shoes to top of Briar’s hair and smiled and gain a courage to say next words

Flycatcher: …you look wonderful

Flycatcher got this off his chest, Briar smiled and felt good someone comment on her except her cheating ex-husband Charming.

Briar: Thank you Flycatcher’s stamina got the beat of him again when he wanted to do with Briar, Flycatcher: I was… wondering, if..if..if you Briar: Yes? Briar was curious to know what Flycatcher is asking her to do, Flycatcher: That is to say … Flycatcher was still worried what to say as his nerves kicking him alot.

But then both Flycatcher and Briar can hear someone shouting from the bar.

??????: He wants to dance with you It turns out to be Pinocchio who can see Flycatcher and Briar close together and thought like to help out.

Meanwhile Flycatcher was at a siding and he trying to practice of asking a fable out and it was Briar Rose, he was madly in love with her but his shyness gets over him nervous. Flycatcher: Good evening Miss Briar,  I…I was wondering, if… if you Flycatcher's fear was asking Briar was getting him,  

Briar Rose can see Flycatcher was doing something and smiles. Flycatcher: …. Um, I was wondering if you Seeing this was Briar chance to make Flycatcher happy, Briar: Ambrose Briar makes her way to Flycatcher,

It was now 4pm and Keira at Briar Rose's apartment, and she was looking at the mirror thinking the homelands invaded this day after many years, Keira was with Bigby, Snow and Rose Red to escape to the mundy world, Keira even notice there are few swan fables in mundy world but not the one she knows before she got captured.

????: Keira, why is your hair down Keira turned to see Briar Rose. Keira: I just can’t decide what style I am having Briar: Now we got to get your ready, I still can’t imagine he asked you Briar started to sort Keira's hair, Keira: Well it was only last minute thing, he thinks he has to be there at ball and he said he might find something that links to case, but we are protectors and case would have to be solved by the end of the night. Briar: He has his moments and you know that

Keira only told Briar Rose about Bigby asked her out as she was going to help me get ready for Remberance Gala. If Keira told many fables about Bigby going out with her, then they will bragging over Bigby and especially he not sort of fable who ask anyone out. But Keira told Briar not say a word and she has Keira's word, Briar started to sort Keira's hair into a nicely done that she was telling Keira. Briar thought of the right style for Keira, when she had a haircut with Joel Crow and reading a local magazine.
