It Looks Like a Major Lib Narrative About the Alleged Healthcare CEO Killer Just Imploded
Tumblr media
Who is Luigi Mangione? He’s the suspect in the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on December 4. Thompson was gunned down outside of the New York Hilton Midtown hotel before an investor’s meeting allegedly by Mr. Mangione, who used a suppressed firearm. Mangione was hailed as some populist hero in leftist circles for killing Thompson, with writers like Taylor Lorenz being his most vocal advocate.
The debate about the American healthcare system is intertwined with sub-plots on race, wealth, and access, so it’s not unusual that this is a petri dish for left-wing insanity. Yet, Mangione is no working-class hero. It’s the seat of irony—the kid hails from Baltimore royalty, Ivy-League educated, and went to a private school whose tuition hovers around $40,000.
His family owns Turf Valley and Hayfields Country Club, NBC News confirmed. Mangione is the cousin of Baltimore County Delegate Nino Mangione, R-District 42A, the lawmaker's office confirmed. https://t.co/sxTCz8dOIQ pic.twitter.com/z5XAKZEguv— WBAL NewsRadio 1090 and FM 101.5 (@wbalradio) December 9, 2024

Lorenz said she felt “joy” when Thompson got murdered. Well, as it turns out, it was done by someone who likely had a higher net worth than the victim. This ‘eat the rich’ narrative that’s been marinating for days just imploded.
What I assume will happen is that people will try to pivot away once the Mangione financials are disclosed, saying that the larger debate is about our healthcare issues, which is fine. You could’ve had that debate for days—we’ve been dealing with it every election cycle. Roping in a CEO murder was totally unnecessary, exposing yet again the Left’s propensity for being too online.

After a co-worker recognized him, Mangione was arrested at a McDonald's in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Four fake IDs, including the phony New Jersey driver's license used to check in at the hostel he reportedly stayed in before the murder, were found on his person, including the suppressed firearm like the one used in the crime. Based on initial reports, he also had $8,000 on him, plus $2,000 in foreign currency. Mangione claims those items were planted.
Mangione reportedly underwent back surgery, which some suggest might have been what set him off. We'll keep you posted.
Investigators say Luigi Mangione had $8,000 USD on him and 2,000 in foreign currency, Also bags to block cellular data.— Brian Entin (@BrianEntin) December 10, 2024

Videos: Joseph Malinowski, a Tampa Resident Who Has Had Multiple Run-Ins With The Law Survives Hurricane Milton on Sailboat
Tumblr media
Joseph Malinowski, a Tampa resident known as "Lieutenant Dan," has received a lot of media attention after surviving Hurricane Milton aboard his sailboat. Malinowski, who has a history of being at odds with the authorities, chose to ride out the storm on his 20-foot boat, defying evacuation orders and becoming a viral sensation. The 54-year-old's decision to stay on his boat was initially met with skepticism. In a viral TikTok video, he explained that his faith in God guided him to remain on the boat, believing it to be the safest place during the hurricane. https://www.tiktok.com/@terrenceconcannon/video/7423118592046140702?embed_source=121374463121468991121439635121433650121404359121351166121331973120811592120810756nullembed_share&refer=embed&referer_url=www.ladbible.com&referer_video_id=7423118592046140702 Despite offers of evacuation assistance from authorities, Malinowski was resolute in his decision, stating he had no fear and trusted in his divine protection. “God told me to come out here and get a boat. I came out here and got a boat. He’s been telling me in the last two days I’m doing the right thing. He’s got my back. I’m in good shape. We’re gonna ride this one out,” he said. People Magazine reported that, as Hurricane Milton approached, journalists captured footage of Malinowski on his boat. FOX 13 News anchor Kevin O’Donnell and NewsNation correspondent Brian Entin both documented his situation, showing him calm and composed despite the storm's intensity. https://twitter.com/BrianEntin/status/1844223472832241982 Initially, the Tampa man kept reassuring the reporters that he was fine, although at one point he acknowledged to NewsNation's Brian Entin that he was stuck on the boat. The severity of the storm eventually led to a change of heart. On Wednesday afternoon, Tampa Mayor Jane Castor announced during a press conference that Joseph Malinowski had been rescued by the Tampa Police Department and relocated to a shelter. Castor used his rescue to emphasize the importance of heeding evacuation orders, speaking on the unprecedented danger posed by Hurricane Milton, which brought major storm surge and flooding to the Tampa area. There has also been reports of multiple deaths in St. Lucie County at the Spanish Lakes Country Club. Meanwhile, WUFT reports that Joseph Malinowski has a history of run-ins with the law, including a recent six-month jail sentence for punching a police officer and an arrest for allegedly attempting to set a woman on fire. Additionally, he faces a court dispute over the ownership of his sailboat and has been charged under a Florida law for abandoning a sunken boat. Nevertheless, Joseph Malinowski's battle with the storm seems to have appealed to many. A GoFundMe campaign started by Terrence Concannon, the creator of the viral TikTok video, has raised over $33,000 to support him. Read the full article

Kodak Black Claims Marshalls Violated His Rights By Releasing Perp Photo To Press
Source: INGLEWOOD, CA – AUGUST 27: Kodak Black arrives at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards at The Forum on August 27, 2017 in Inglewood, California. (Photo by Gregg DeGuire/Getty Images)
Yes Kodak Black is still around and kicking, and  he now says that officials exposed his privacy.
As exclusively reported by Bossip the Florida rapper continues to serve time behind bars. On November 13, 2019 he formally turned himself in to authorities and began serving his 46-month sentence. Since then he has claimed that the law has not exactly provided him a fair shot as an United States citizen. According to the report, the man now known as Bill Kapri filed a federal lawsuit against United States Marshals Service Chief Mark O’Loughlin. The accusation alleges that the serviceman purposely tried to defame him.

We just heard from fellow inmates at Max. Penitentiary Big Sandy KY. In regards to @kodakblack treatment. He couldn't call himself as he is not allowed phone or visitation for 6 months as punishment for the incident in Miami, even though that has been the case since September, they refuse to give him credit for that time. Friday night he was badly beaten while in cuffs, by 7 guards at Big Sandy KY. They struck him in the head repeatedly with a metal object, Then after one of the guards flicked his genitals and said "you're not so gangster now, you're gonna need bigger balls to survive". We have notified his counsel @lawronin and he advised he will be asking for a full investigation by @thejusticedept and the FBI
A post shared by KILL BILL (@kodakblack) on May 3, 2020 at 6:10am PDT
In May 2019 the “Zeze” rapper was under arrest at a Miami-Dade County police station when O’Loughlin took a photo of him. Kodak was shown cuffed behind his back while sitting wearing a velour outfit paired with his signature jewelry. His lawyer claims the photo had nothing to do with the investigation nor was the formal mugshot. To add insult to injury the visual in question surprinsingly landed on the desk of a local reporter who then shared it with the world via Twitter. “Just obtained photo of Bill Kapri, AKA Rapper Kodak Black after he was arrested tonight” wrote Brian Entin.

Kodak says the leak violated his constitutional rights and is seeking a payout. The federal courts has yet to formally respond to the filing.

Judge Sentences Roger Stone to 40 Months in Prison
U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson sentenced Roger Stone to three years and four months in prison after he was convicted of charges of obstruction of justice, lying to Congress, and witness tampering.
Before announcing the sentencing, Jackson ripped into Stone’s character, calling him an “insecure person who craves and recklessly pursues attention.”
Judge on Stone: “At his core, Mr. Stone is an insecure person who craves and recklessly pursues attention” via @kpolantz
— Kristin Donnelly (@kristindonnelly) February 20, 2020
Additionally, Jackson refuted claims that Stone unfairly prosecuted, “He is not prosecuted for standing up for the president, he is prosecuted for covering up for the president.”

— Brian Entin (@BrianEntin) February 20, 2020
Jackson’s sentencing caps off a contentious few days regarding Stone’s sentencing. On Feb. 10, federal prosecutors recommended Stone receive seven to nine years in prison.
However, Justice Department officials stepped in to overrule the original prosecutors’ recommendation and suggest that Stone receive a lighter sentence. That led the prosecutors to resign allegedly in protest of the move.
Democrats cried foul, claiming that President Donald Trump had pressured Justice Department officials to recommend a lighter sentence. They pointed to tweet Trump sent, before the Justice Department’s intervention, to voice his outrage over the severity of the sentencing.
However, Attorney General William Barr said that Trump never told him to get involved in a criminal case. And he added that he was already considering recommending a shorter sentencing before Trump sent his tweet.
In an interview with ABC News, Barr said that Trump’s tweets “make it impossible for me to do my job.” He also said, “It’s time to stop the tweeting about Department of Justice criminal cases.”
Other reports said that Barr was considering resigning because of the president’s tweets. But officials at the Justice Department denied that report.
However, it doesn’t seem that Trump was swayed by Barr’s comments about his tweeting habits.
As the sentencing commenced, Trump took to Twitter to voice his outrage that Stone was prosecuted, while at the same time, former officials at the Federal Bureau of Investigation — who were investigated for potential violations of the law — were spared prosecution.
“They say Roger Stone lied to Congress.” @CNN OH, I see, but so did Comey (and he also leaked classified information, for which almost everyone, other than Crooked Hillary Clinton, goes to jail for a long time), and so did Andy McCabe, who also lied to the FBI! FAIRNESS?
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 20, 2020
Before the sentencing, Stone’s lawyers asked for a new trial, but Jackson said she proceed with the sentencing as scheduled. However, she said she would delay the implementation until she ruled on the motion for a new trial.

1 week after Dorian struck, controversies erupt in Bahamas as death toll mounts
As Bahamian officials continue to sort through the widespread destruction, confusion and uncertainty has been rampant during much of the initial recovery process. While the death toll has slowly ticked upwards, residents, reporters and officials recognize that the final number will be far more staggering than what is being currently reported. As of Monday morning, the official tally is at 44 fatalities. By eyewitness accounts, the total will be hundreds, if not thousands. While some have questioned the government's truthfulness in the current death toll reports, Duane Sands, the Bahamas' minister of health, told the Miami Herald that calculating the fatality total isn't currently a higher priority than helping survivors get back on their feet. A Bahamas coroners team carries a body out of The Mudd neighborhood in the Marsh Harbor area of Abaco, Bahamas, in the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian, Monday, Sept. 9, 2019. (AP Photo/Fernando Llano) "I am actually a bit concerned that the focus has been for some people the body count," Sands told the Herald. "It is not the priority. The priority is find those people for their loved ones who are missing them... To put food in people's bellies, water in their throat."Sands added that officials have heard all the estimates and noted the large amount of missing people."We have to prepare for whatever inevitability and so whether it's 1,000, or 2,000, or 500 body bags, we need to have the ability to make sure that every single remain can be treated with dignity and managed appropriately," he said. “You can’t handle the truth.” I’m beginning to think there was great wisdom in these five words uttered by Colonel Jessup, the character played by Jack Nicholson in the 1992 film “A Few Good Men.” While he was totally wrong in the context of the film, his words seem quite right when applied to America in 2018.
Our politics have become so polarized that people avoid asking all the hard questions about the Parkland shooting, unwilling to accept that even a small part of the truth may not align with their preferred narrative.
The powerful pro-gun lobby, with the NRA as its leader, has done everything in its power to shut down research on gun violence for fear that it may lead to increased gun control. But how can we have an honest debate about gun violence if we can’t even study the issue?
Similarly, since 2013, schools have been under enormous pressure—for good reason—to lower their suspension, expulsion and student arrest numbers. Broward County was part of the PROMISE program (Preventing Recidivism through Opportunities, Mentoring, Interventions, Supports & Education), which was intended, according to the website, “to safeguard the student from entering the judicial system.” Sounds good to me.
But now we know that school resource officers never arrested Cruz, despite repeated violent behavior. Local outlets like The Sunshine State News and even Jake Tapper of CNN are asking very fair, and much-needed, questions about the possibility that the policy changes around school discipline made it too easy for Cruz to fly under the FBI’s radar, even when he was popping up constantly on the school district’s radar, including for what appear to be committed felonies.
Former school resource officer Robert Martinez claimed that he and others were instructed not to arrest students and that the pressure to keep arrest numbers down meant that even very serious — and violent — offenses were handled in-house instead of being turned over to police.
"We are the laughing stock of the world right now." Recently retired @browardsheriff school resource officer speaks out because he says current officers are afraid to. Says there is a shortage of SROs, and pressure not to arrest troubled students like Nikolas Cruz. @wsvn pic.twitter.com/rvkLYdiisq

Maybe it’s true, maybe it’s not. But it seems like a no brainer that we should at least find out.
It is undeniable that suspensions and expulsions in the United States disproportionately affect students of color. The same infraction is often handled totally differently based on the demographics of the school as well as the presence—or lack—of law enforcement on campus.
Time and time again we have seen students of color, often poor, get tangled up in the criminal-justice system because a minor infraction at school landed them in handcuffs. In general, students of color are far more likely than their peers to be arrested for disruptive behavior.
A student from South Carolina, for example, was ripped from her desk, tossed across the room, and subsequently arrested for defiance. As one Georgia judge described the situation, kids are being prosecuted because they “made an adult mad.” White suburban students make adults mad too but they don’t get arrested for it at school. Add to the arrest the subsequent inability to afford bail or quality counsel and Black youth find themselves in the grip of the juvenile justice system.
But have we moved so far into our partisan corners that we refuse to admit that we can go too far in efforts to eliminate arrests that should never happen and end up eliminating ones that should? Do we equate a student who is defiant with one who brings ammunition to school, cyberstalks, and sends threatening messages online?
Dear God, I hope not.
I pray I will never personally know the pain the parents of Stoneman Douglas High School now feel and will have to endure for the remainder of their lives. But when, as best as I can, I try to put myself in their position, I would want to know everything that should have been done differently by my elected leaders, the sheriff’s office, the FBI, and yes, the school department.
While it is tempting to try to identify one sole cause of what happened in Parkland, it is rarely ever that simple. The families of those lost deserve all the answers, not just some. We do not know everything that happened in the lead up to the Parkland shooting; no one does. But one thing seems certain: A number of factors contributed to that tragic outcome—some far worse than others, some more avoidable than others.
To pretend the reason is simple or singular is to choose politics over truth, and that is a lousy way to honor the memory of those we lost.

The congresswoman who accused Trump of upsetting a dead soldier's widow has a history of antagonizing Trump
Kevin Wolf/AP
When Rep. Frederica Wilson accused President Donald Trump of making an insensitive call to the pregnant widow of a fallen US soldier, she initiated a back-and-forth between herself and the president, but it was not the first time she has challenged him in public.
Even since before Trump was inaugurated, the Florida Democrat has frequently come out swinging against the president and his policy positions.
Here's who she is and how she found herself in the crosshairs of Trump's Twitter fingers:
Wilson is known for her strong positions on immigration, Zika relief funding, and African-American issues. She also wears flamboyant cowboy hats every day in honor of her grandfather.

Wilson was elected to Congress in 2010 and gave an impassioned speech following the death of Trayvon Martin in 2012 in her district, calling for an end to the killing of young black men.
Wilson went on to champion causes like federal Zika funding for southern Florida, and has been described as "accomplished, energetic, and stylish."
Following Donald Trump's election, Wilson told reporters she would not be attending his inauguration. Although she said she was attending a wedding that day, she joined almost 70 other Democrats who said they would not be present.

After he became president, Wilson translated her dissatisfaction with Trump into disagreement with the vast majority of his policy positions.

Data website FiveThirtyEight.com ran the numbers and showed that Wilson has only voted with Trump 15.6% of the time.
