HOW TO BREW THE SAFFRON To brew the #saffron in the kitchen, pick up a pinch of Saffron (15-30 threads) and grind it into a fine powder using a #pestle. It is better to do not powder saffron by electric grinder because intense heat destroys its aromatic molecules and merely the pigments remain. For simplicity of grinding, you can add kosher salt or a small amount of sugar to your pestle, which acts as an abrasive, to force the saffron into a fine powder.
