Bridget jumped a bit at the sudden voice, she wasn't yet accostumed to people speaking to her. Turning around quickly to face the man.

The girl said giving the older guy a small smile, tugging at her braid out of nervousness. The guy didn't look threatening and in a way, it gave her some comfort knowing there were nice people willing to help in a place like this but she still felt some anxiety in her.

"It's nice having someone to ask for help, specially in a place like this...M-My name is Bridget, Bridget Meyler. And you, mister?"

Ok I got you my man, here’s some trainer themes I’ve connected w some of the buddies. This is something I love to do, and I had fun doing it on characters aside from my own for once! Really got the gears rolling. Also did this just bc I am experiencing extreme pokemon brainrot rn so anything slightly Pokémon related is making me go feral. Included my thought process bc I did not choose these at random for the most part!

Pinepaw- Vs. Rival (ORAS)

Energetic, lively, maybe a dash of possible troublemaker. I honestly don’t know what to write for this really, Pine was the hardest one for me aside from Daff to connect to a theme. Wally’s battle theme was a close second, bc it was slow but confident, but I don’t know if the guitars were fitting for him.

Cormorantpaw- Vs. Piers (SWSH)

An edgy theme that’s not too over the top but also screams powerful. I feel like this man needs guitars in his theme and this was the most fitting one. Misunderstood emo edgelord guy who probably needs to sleep, god please go to bed. Was gonna choose Gladion (SM) at first bc the emo kid running away (?) from home/parent kinda thing they both got going on, but I didn’t feel like it was fitting. I dunno.

Asphodelpaw- Vs. Penny (SV)

Starts out VERY hardcore and intense but has these very “heroic” or lighter sounding parts too. I know not too much is out about Asphodel yet, but she definitely seems like the type so far to come off as really intense and snarky, just to have a hidden, more caring/sensitive interior, I think this theme reflects that nicely. Also both her and Penny have a thing for cute Pokémon. It’s funny.

Daffodilpaw- Lillie Encounter Theme 2 (SM)

It was hard to place a theme for her, I wanted something confident, but not insanely powerful since she’s not a great battler. Lillies second theme definitely has that sense of confidence as in game it’s after she changes her outfit it’s to break away from the way her mom has tried to make her be for all of her life, down to how she dresses. It’s light, but confident. At first I was gonna use Hop’s theme from SWSH bc he canonically is god awful at battling but I didn’t think it fit her.

Slugpelt- Vs. Zinnia (ORAS)

She gets my favorite theme of all time. Zinnias theme is honestly kind of like, sad and almost mournful, but also very intense. Also kinda mysterious. Zinnia in game is feeling grief over a lost loved one, if my memory serves me right. Obviously that connects somewhat to Slugpelt and the disappearance/loss of her mother and brother, and overall Slugpelt just seems like a very sad but also intense when needed be individual.

Rainhaze- Vs. N Final Battle (BW)

I honestly am not sure about this one, part of me just chose it bc of the whole Rainhaze having a Zorua thing, and N has a Zorua/Zoroark. Also chose it bc of the whole mysterious vibe of the theme, as well as the ticking of the clock heard at various points in the track. Kinda makes me think like, either time is running out for him to be found, or a lot of time had passed since he has disappeared (and possibly has changed him.)

Deepdark- Vs. Team Magma/Aqua leader (ORAS)

You CANNOT tell me this wouldn’t fit him. I didn’t want a theme that sounded almost like,, godly for him (like Ghetsis, which I considered for a minute), but still something that screamed I AM THE BOSS, YOU’RE DOOMED. And you know what screams that? The godforsaken amount of trumpets in this theme. But no fr jokes aside this theme is super powerful and hardcore and it deserves to be assigned to him.

I already dmed you the brendan one lol but I also sketched a Maxie (magma leader) inspired deepdark bc of the theme, I was gonna do it for all of em but I decided against it bc like. Too much work. But I have to show this bc the image of deepdark in a turtleneck is extremely funny to me. Also sorry I don’t draw deer a lot lol.

11:54pm hey um did you know you probably shouldn't drink an energy drink at 11 at night? i have such a bad headache and there's no way i'm sleeping anytime soon my body isn't used to caffeine so whenever i have any it really affects me, today was super fun though we went to the lake with breckyn and i stood up every time on the wake board bro i'm pro now, we tried to teach breckyn but she never stood up, dad taught me how to drive the boat it's actually pretty easy so i was driving most of the time, then we got canes and dutch and drove around all night talking about friends and porter and you and siblings and porter and school and porter and then porter some more, she's still obsessed with him and like has hella feelings but she's dating brendan and i feel bad for him her and porter talk sm and about like sex and their feelings for each other and yikes poor brendan he's such a nice guy and he's really good to her and she like doesn't care because of porter but he treats her badly and is always just playing games but she's still trying to get back with him i'm so stressed it's taking me forever to type this because breckyn's sending me a million snaps telling me everything porter says, ugh i have to shower for work tomorrow but i'm already laying down half asleep and i really don't wanna get up this sucks, i freaking work three days in a row and friday and saturday i work all day that's gonna suck i'm mad, you should come visit though:-)), and baseline concert tomorrow night i'm pumped itd be lit if you went so i don't have to third wheel all night but if you have hw that's fine, wow are you actually gonna be like a doctor when you grow up? that makes me smile picturing you in scrubs and doing that aw ur so cute and ur so smart you have so much potential i'm so proud of you, you work so hard on everything and you push yourself and you're so like determined you're gonna do great things i can't wait to see them, you're such a great person all around i support you sm i hope you know that and i'm so grateful for you like breckyn was just talking about all the horrible things boys have done to her and i was just thinking of you the whole time like i know you would never do anything to hurt me and you're protective and i trust you so much idk how i was ever lucky enough to get you in my life but i hope you stay in it for a long long time i wanna grow with you and support you through everything you go through and always be there for you okay i'm tearing up i want you to know i love you so much, like it's unbelievable and you're the best thing that's ever happened to me and i want to be with you more than anything i can't wait for a time when i get to be with you i'm so excited for a future with you in it okay i gtg shower goodnight i love you a whole lot and i hope you always know that, i never stopped
