Breastfeeding was my first challenge as a mother, the pain and stress I experienced were indescribable. But I am truly blessed having full support from my family on this journey. Greatly thanks.. To my mama who first encouraged me to breastfeeding and to all her prayers. To my mother-in-law who never get tired of preparing and cooking soup meals with malunggay and papaya to increase/sustain my milk supply. To my very supportive sister-in-law who’s also 24/7 always willing to answer all my questions about motherhood. To our Ob-Gyne and lactation consultant, for their guidance and pro-tips. And to my husband, who patiently endures all my pain complaints and cries. This experience solidified for me the importance of patience, perseverance, and most importantly self-conviction. Once you have decided what is best for you and your child, hold steady to the decision and don’t let anyone try to sway you a different way. I am proud of all the struggles and successes I’ve had in breastfeeding with my now 2months and 2weeks old bouncing babygirl. To all new moms out there who is feeling alone in this breastfeeding battle and thinking of giving up. Hang in there. It is so worth it. A little patience and a good dose of perseverance and you’ll get there. You got this. Please keep working at it, you’re doing a great job, and ultimately you will be so happy you stuck with it and so will your baby. We all need to support each other in this crazy journey of motherhood. I, thank you. we are so blessed for having these abundant breastmilk.. i pumped every night before going to bed and early in the morning after waking up for his consumption on that particular day.
