1. How did you first come up with your muse’s backstory, if you did at all?

Well tl;dr I wanted a steampunk oc with some kind of swiss army arm situation, but I didn’t want it to just be like “ah yes she was conveniently born with weaponry built into her body” so I thought, like, some kind of illness giving an excuse for her to need it would make the most sense (bonus points for killing off her brother for Tragedy)

2. If your muse is from a particular show/movie/comic/etc. , how did you first react when you first found out about your muse’s backstory? 

I mean I wrote it so………………..

3. Is your muse’s backstory relatable to you? 

Mmmm, gonna say no

4. Would you rewrite your muse’s backstory? If so, how? 

For now, I don’t think so, but if I come up with something better/want to switch something up, I might make her less of an asshole from the jump and have it be more of a gradual thing

That even tho she goes through a period of being super dependent on people post-escape, she’s still mentally/emotionally stubborn and independent and herself.

That only her mom wanted to find her again and her dad was like “lol bye sweaty”

That (imo in regards to this post) her canon end is that she dies thinking someone she finally fully loved and trusted had betrayed her lol

It definitely left her with a severe distrust of most people, as well as giving her a deep, deep fear of losing her bodily autonomy ever.
