Who is the Worst Dude (Gender Neutral) in Thedas?

Well folks, I’m back on my Poll nonsense for a much requested Who Is The Worst Dude (Gender Neutral) in Thedas. There were 80 submissions given in, which me and my friend narrowed down to 64 of the most requested Worst Dudes.

There are two 32 bracket tournaments which will run simultaneously, and then the two winners will face off to get the Ultimate Worst Dude (just to make the charts a bit easier on the eyes).

The tag is ‘Worst dude in Thedas’ if you wanna block it/filter for it etc.

This is just for funsies guys! Please don’t get angry at people if they are voting for your favs or if they disagree with you about who is The Worst! I am running this poll on a good faith belief that y’all will give me fun reasons why you’re voting for people - but also that you won’t send hate to one another for voting a certain way.

I am excluding romances that have an objectively (relatively) happy ending (like King Alistair and Queen Consort Cousland or Warden Alistair and a surviving Hero of Ferelden), but if I have erred in my judgement and you regard some of them as tragic, please, let me know in the tags.

The anvil of Yikes

Turns out Branka been squatting outside the place where the anvil of the void is for a few years, having a DIY broodmother pump out darkspawn to flood the traps leading there. There doesn’t seem to be anybody left of her house. Yeah, Darrian’s not having a great feeling about this one. We go and reach a big cliff where a bunch of golems welcome us. The bigger golem introduces himself as Caridin. Oh. I’m starting to see where this is going. Shale’s one of Caridin’s old buddies too, even though she remembers almost nothing about it. Okay, so Caridin (who’s being very forthcoming for a giant slab of steel) wants us to destroy the anvil because he can’t. Branka barges in because she hasn’t been turning all her friends into darkspawn meat for this thank you very much. And Darrian feels bad for Oghren, but there’s no need for Orzammar to get even more fucked up. Morrigan’s into the idea, though, because of course she would be, but we’re still not doing that.

Branka goes down. Caridin makes us a crown, we destroy the anvil and he jumps into lava. Well that was horrible. Time to leave and never come back. In Orzammar, we interrupt Bhelen and Harrowmont bickering. We have the crown and get to choose who becomes king. That’s great, Darrian totally wanted that responsibility. He tries not to cringe too much as he gestures at Bhelen, whose first action as king is obviously to have Harrowmont executed. Good for you man, can we get our damn army now ? Hopefully, he does some things so the casteless get a better deal and then gets assassinated.

Oghren decides to tag along as we leave. He’s a wreck. Not just the drinking, the whole warrior caste thing seems to have made him pretty much unfit for life anywhere there isn’t a war going on. He, Shale and Wynne are getting antsy, though. Oghren wants to go see an ex girlfriend, Shale, wants to go check out a thaig related to her previous life, and Wynne opened up about an old disciple who ran away. We take care of that because it’s going to be time for the Landsmeet. Long story short, Oghren finds someone who actually seems to care about him, Wynne finds her old pupil, who’s actually doing pretty good… and Shale finds an empty thaig that gives her some memories back.

Velanna arches one eyebrow. “That dwarf’s been married more than once?”

Perhaps I shouldn’t have mentioned Branka. “Uh, well, yes.”

“I didn’t believe him when he called himself the ladykiller of Orzammar.” She strokes her chin. “There could’ve been some truth to that, after all.”

“No, no, that’s definitely an exaggeration,” Sigrun interjects. “Not only was it an arranged marriage, but his previous wife preferred women.”

Velanna and Anders stare at her. She shrugs. “If the Legion of the Dead knew about it, then everyone knew about it.”

Soo, I'm replaying origins and realized far, far too late where my screens were being kept. Adansser Tabris is a city elf who looked up to his mother a lot. He's sentimental, justice-driven and unwittingly kind to those he hold dear. At the same time, he's my most manipulative(/persuasive) warden. If there is a way to talk it out he'll likely take it. He rarely raises his voice, rarely loses his temper unless faced with what he percieves to be great injustice. He smiles and jokes while feeling immense guilt about his actions as a teen as well as not being fast enough to save his cousin from Vaughn's clutches in time. He gets together with Morrigan under the pretense that it was meant to just be for fun, but as their connection deepens he falls in love and does anything for her safety. He thinks it's delightful when she acts jealous or protective over him and he is heartbroken about her terms around TDR. He agrees to the terms while knowing deep down he will try to find her again, no matter the stakes. Major world state decisions: - Bhelen rules, Branka did not get the anvil. - Zathrian lifted the curse, but perished together with Witherfang. - The mages live! - The Circle assisted at Redcliffe and Jowan got to repent. - The ashes were not defiled, the dragon slain and Genetivi left to spread the word if he so wished. - Alistair (Hardened) & Anora rule together. - No companions except Secret Companion dead and all personal quests completed. I'm doing this as a full playthrough (Potentially maybe not The Golems of Amgarrak... maybe), so soon he'll be promoted to Warden-Commander to get a new little team of rag-tags.
