all the lights in seoul went out. although the girl had not yet fallen asleep completely, the shock after the blackout had awakened her. once she understood what was happening she might have gone back to sleep if something hadn't abruptly crashed into the door and then slammed it open, without her even getting out of bed. from the dark house, serim emerged holding her phone that had the flashlight on and once inside the room she aggressively kicked the door to close it.
"what are you doing…?" karina whispered.
before she could hear her, serim made an olympic leap towards the bed where the blackhaired woman was resting and, ignoring the complaints and pushes that she gave her to get out of her bed, she managed to hide under the sheets. they both fell silent and then only serim's heavy breathing could be heard.
"what's going on?" the youngest asked stoically.
“what's going on, karina? there was a blackout." she said obviously.
“yes, serim, i can notice that, but why are you in my bed?” she spoke into the air since jang was completely covered.
“promise me you won’t laugh.” she asked.
“i won't laugh." she assured, already trying to hold back her laughter.
from beneath her, in the part of her body that was underneath the blanket, she felt serim poke her abdomen with her little finger. karina tried to stop her, but she continued until she understood what she wanted and put her hand under the coverlet, with her pinky extended, and she intertwined it with serim's, sealing her promise.
“i am very afraid of the dark.” she admitted. “since i was little, i could never get over it.” she sounded upset, like she was having trouble breathing. “i hate to thank you, but luckily you're here because i don't know what i would have done if i was alone during the blackout.”
“are you still afraid of the dark?”
"do not judge me!"
"i'm not!"
serim began to poke the contrary's abdomen repeatedly and quickly to annoy her, to which karina tried to get away from her and catch her hands to make her cease the action. out of nowhere, a loud crash was heard causing serim to let out a sharp scream of terror accompanied by a jump on the mattress, and then move disastrously and frantic trying to cover every small hole that led to the outside, messing up the bed, and approaching karina to cling to her body so that she would save her from whatever the threat was. due to the position in which she had ended up after so much rolling around on the bed, the closest extremity of yu within her reach was her legs, so she hugged one of these tightly.
“serim, serim.” she tried to detach her from her leg without results, so she rested her hands on her back. “it was the neighbor upstairs colliding with a chair, nothing's wrong, don't worry.” she patted her skin, frustrated at having to take care of a 26-year-old. “come, get out of there.”
the youngest took the girl by one of her arms and carefully pulled it upwards, trying to get her out from under the covers, but she resisted, clinging to her body tightly so she could stay there below.
“no, karina, i can’t.” she refused, her voice fragile. “what do i do if the boogeyman is out there in the dark?”
“the only thing out here in the dark is me and the oxygen that is not reaching you right now.” she continued to exert force. “namu, don't worry, i'm here.”
“i don't know if i'm more scared of the boogeyman or you.”
"come here." she finally got the older girl to uncover herself and take her head outside, although now holding on tightly to her shirt. “it's okay, you're scared, i'm not going to do anything bad, don't worry.” she tried to calm her down.
barely seeing her image with the little light that filtered from behind the curtains of the room's large window, yu noticed that her hair was a mess due to all the movement she made before, so, leaving a hand on serim's shoulder, she took the other to fix the locks that were in her face.
“you don't mind me sleeping here, do you?” jang asked weakly, fear and vulnerability impossible to hide.
“five minutes ago i would have told you to leave, but now that i see that you are seriously terrified of the dark, i can't be that mean.” she laughed softly. “what does it say about myself if you choose the boogeyman instead of me?”
“i could make great jokes about you and the boogeyman, but i'm scared so maybe another time.” she said with a sad voice and her lips forming a pout.
the blackhaired found that comment cute, so she couldn't resist a light smile, and giving a caress to the girl's cheek, as if it were a reassuring, friendly pat. she turned her body that was on her side facing serim and lay down on her back, but the oldest didn't move, instead she took advantage of her change of position to wrap herself around her arm and hide her head on her neck.
“namu, you can't sleep so close to me.” she carefully tried to push her body.
“i need to be touching you to know that there is someone and not be afraid.”
she babbled with her face still between karina's shoulder and jaw, moving to circle her torso and hold onto it, lacing her fingers with the fabric of her pajamas that draped over her ribs. by hugging her more securely, the young one could no longer separate her from her, and on the other side, she only felt her getting closer and closer. due to the little space between their bodies, the vocalist's nose constantly rubbed against the other's skin, and this one couldn't help but be distracted by this detail.
“why is your nose cold?” she asked in a low volume.
the girl returned to the previous position she was in, standing on her side, face to face and impossibly nearer to serim, who, due to the motion, remained holding the youngest in her arms, and upon noticing this, she rested her hands on her waist and lower back to press and attract her towards her.
"i have no idea." unlike her voice moments ago when she was scared, now her words came out in a serious deep tone typical of when you just woke up, still in a whisper.
yu held her face gently between her fingertips and moved closer to her, brushing their noses lightly once, taking a second to appreciate the sensation of the recent touch on her skin before lifting her chin again to rub her nose against jang's again and then maintain that contact for a moment, going back and forth slowly and tenderly, until she brought her lips to the opposite tip and left a kiss there.
before separating from her, serim moved towards her to capture her mouth with her own, but karina turned around, lying face up, quickly, avoiding the connection.
"i can't, i have a boyfriend." she remembered, that sentence coming out between labored breaths, as if she had just run.
serim rolled on the mattress, ending up on the opposite end of it, the back of her hand falling on the dancer's chest, keeping contact, she gave a frustrated sigh.
“so, you don't do it because you have a boyfriend,” she reiterated. “not because you don't want to." observed.
"think whatever you want." yu dismissed her, returning to the same sour tone with which she always spoke to her, adjusting her pillow to go to sleep.
“karina." the woman called after a moment of complete silence.
"now what?" tha named one asked tired, she was sleepy.
“can you hold my hand?” she asked shyly.
“namu…”
“it's not romantic at all, it's just that i need to be in contact with you to be reassured that there is someone else and i'm not alone in the darkness.” she explained honestly.
the youngest didn't react, so serim thought that she would not pay attention to her and so began to breathe with difficulty as she became aware of the lack of light again and felt helpless in it, but before she lost her composure she felt the touch of karina on her skin, sliding along it in search of her hand. the oldest made her task easier, tapping on her to make it simpler to find it. yu then wrapped her palm around jang's thumb, holding it steady, bringing calm to serim, and finally helping her fall asleep.

😂 tickling for merthur!
I don't know why, I had a feeling I'd get this one😂
***
Merlin threw open the heavy curtains blocking the dawn from Arthur's chambers, eliciting a groan from the prince who for all he said Merlin puzzled him was a mystery himself. How could a man with the honed reflexes of a knight training since childhood, who woke at the slightest twitch or rustle while on patrol or on a hunt, be so difficult to wake in the mornings he spent in his lavish bed in the castle.
Though, on reflection, Merlin didn't think he'd wake up so easily if he too was enveloped in soft linen sheets and a feather mattress.
Arthur had done no more than press his face further into his pillow.
"Come on then," Merlin said brightly, just a fraction louder than he needed to. "Let's have you lazy daisy," He knew Arthur hated that phrase and it might at least get something thrown at his head--which meant Arthur would have to move to do so.
The prince, clearly intending to be particularly difficult today, just groaned again, one hand dragged from the warmth of the deep red coverlet to make a shooing motion at Merlin.
"Breakfast will get cold," Merlin tried, deciding not to mention the fact he had once again been late to pick it up and it was already no more than lukewarm.
"S'always cold," Arthur muttered, muffled in his decadence.
"Do I have to drag you out, my lord?" Merlin asked, both of them well aware he only titled Arthur when he was being particularly sardonic. "I've done it before and I will do it again," he continued, trying his best to channel his mother's particular brand of ferocity.
"Are you threatening me, Merlin?" came the still-muffled, still-pompous tone. Arthur was feeling a little more awake, then.
"If that's what it needs to be to get your lazy arse out of bed, royal or not." Merlin answered loftily, with a long-suffering sigh for good measure. He still couldn't see the prince's face, but Arthur's hand was idly twisting in his coverlet; those broad, calloused fingers wrinkling then smoothing the linen.
"You can't talk to me like that," Arthur raised his head, the effect of his commanding, self-important tone somewhat lessened by the yawn that broke his words and the way his hair stuck up in all directions.
Something warm settled itself beneath Merlin's ribs, as it so often did in unguarded moments like these, the glimpses of the man beneath the crown, the infuriating, stubborn, childish man.
"Well, are you getting out of bed?"
"Nope."
"Then I shall continue."
"Merlin?"
"Yes?"
"Sod off."
"Right." Merlin had a note of finality to his tone. "If you're not getting out of bed, I'm getting in."
"Excuse me?" Arthur demanded, though the words had not even left his mouth before Merlin was sat on his hips, knees either side of him.
"Get up," Merlin singsonged, prodding Arthur's bare chest with one long finger.
"Get off," Arthur grumbled, with far less heat than he knew he should at such familiarity.
"Get up," Merlin sang again, prodding Arthur in the ribs this time. The prince could not suppress the slight twitch and shiver when Merlin's finger brushed the sensitive, ticklish spot on his ribs. Merlin did not fail to notice and he grinned wickedly.
"Right." He said again, drawing all of his fingers, feather-light across Arthur's ribs.
***
"Merlin!" the prince squeaked--with dignity, of course--thinking wildly for a moment about how soft Merlin's palms were where they rested on his sides, how warm.
"Are you getting up, my lord?" Merlin said again, his other hand skating over Arthur's chest as the laughter he could not help broke free.
"Merlin! Give up! Merlin!" He bellowed between giggles, had no idea what anyone passing in the corridor might think. His manservant had never listened to him, however, and it did not look like he was about to start now.
Truly awake now, Arthur drew on those perfectly honed reflexes and grabbed Merlin's wrist, knowing Merlin wasn't expecting it. "Ha!" his voice was triumphant as he sat up, still holding Merlin's wrist. They had wrestled like children before, gone far beyond any boundary of lord and servant many times but this felt different. The air felt charged with something Arthur could not name and tried hard not to think about.
His hand seemed so large, clumsy against Merlin's. His blunt, calloused fingertips looked like they would sully Merlin's perfectly pale skin. Arthur swallowed thickly, knowing he should let go but unable to make himself just yet.
Merlin flexed his fingers and Arthur watched the movement intently, didn't think of rules or propriety as he brought Merlin's hand closer to his face, pressed a kiss to his warm palm. Merlin's breath caught in his throat and Arthur moved to kiss the pads of each of Merlin's finger. He tasted the salt-sweat of Merlin's skin, the barest hint of whichever herbs he had picked for Gaius before coming to wake him and the honey from the rolls he always brought Arthur for breakfast. "Stealing my sweetmeats before you've even served me, Merlin?"
The tips of Merlin's ears flushed a delicate pink and Arthur knew he was right. He let go of Merlin's wrist, reluctantly. "We should--"
Merlin's hand had already found its way back to Arthur's chest, pressed flat against his sternum, pushing Arthur to lie back down. Those elegant fingers ran across his chest, down his ribs again; over all the ticklish spots that made Arthur shiver, brushing a nipple oh-so-lightly--which made Arthur actually gasp.
Merlin's smile turned wicked as he tickled Arthur's ribs again just to watch him twitch.
"I think you can stay in bed just a little longer."

How to Beautify Your Home with Bedding
Envision yourself nestled within the stout walls of a medieval castle, in an era of knights and valor. When it comes to interior decoration, set aside ideas of wallpaper or elaborate lighting. The secret to creating a warm and inviting atmosphere lies in adorning your space with the finest textiles, the softest furs, and the thickest wools. This practice has given rise to the rich tradition of household linen in France. Throughout history, textiles used in decor have held significance beyond mere utility; a sheet, curtain, or cushion speaks volumes about the status, wealth, and aesthetic sensibilities of its owner. Over centuries, these once simple fabrics have evolved into objets d’art, embodying craftsmanship and luxury. So, why not harness the timeless appeal of linen once again?
Utilising fabric to “dress” your interior is an endless adventure for those who cherish their sanctum. Here are four questions and answers on how to elevate your home with bedding.
Why Should Your Bed Be the Centrepiece?
Your bed is where you spend a significant portion of your time! Each day, from your bed, you awaken to a “morning and evening landscape.” Thus, it’s vital to curate an environment that brings you joy and serenity. An aesthetically pleasing space, adorned with natural linen sheets, a chic bohemian duvet cover, and a palette of soft, harmonious colours can transform your bedroom at a modest cost.
Contemporary trends have gradually stripped bedrooms of their character. Beds have become increasingly “bare,” with bedside tables, armchairs, and benches receding into the background, while our intimate spaces have shrunk in favour of expansive open-plan living areas. This simplification has stifled individuality, turning diverse residences into monotonous reflections of one another.
Padded headboards have lost popularity, sometimes disappearing entirely along with the bed frames. What remains? A box spring, a mattress, and a square of fabric lacking personality—leaving the bed in its barest form. Yet, with the introduction of floral patterns, stripes, and a riot of colours, this simplistic approach could easily lose its appeal. At this juncture, turning to a pure linen duvet cover or indulgent washed linen can reinvigorate your décor tastefully.
How Can You Achieve a Chic or Bohemian Decor with Bed Linen?
Premium linen brands offer an array of options to elevate our bedrooms through high decorative value. Begin with a plain yet sophisticated bedding set in a muted shade. Opt for luxurious materials like washed or Oeko-Tex-certified linen to soften the atmosphere and lend substance to your bed. The beauty of choosing quality linens is their versatility in style. Picture a bohemian chic bedroom, a rustic yet elegant space, or a neo-classical haven featuring white linen sheets. You can effortlessly shift styles with the seasons or your mood by varying sheets, adding ruffled pillowcases, or introducing a simple quilt. Pair with a natural linen coverlet, and your bed will undeniably set the tone for your entire room.
How to Select the Right Bedding?
Reflect upon the bedrooms of yesteryear, where fabric enveloped every surface—from footboards to armchairs, curtains, and even upholstered headboards. While you needn’t go to extremes or break the bank at the upholsterer, the aim is to cultivate a harmonious cocoon that transcends the box spring-mattress duo. Remember, you are the one who will spend the most time in this sanctum.
Two prevailing trends emerge in the world of bedding. The first centres on a monochromatic scheme reminiscent of bygone eras. To implement this, select a singular colour and extend it from your bed all the way to your windows. For instance, a serene blue-grey, reminiscent of our French blue collection, can create a unified look from duvet cover to double curtains.
The second trend embraces a medley of colours while maintaining a cohesive alignment with materials. Choose natural fibres, such as our exquisite linens. Pair ivory curtains with a bed canopy, lilac pillows complementing the bedding, and perhaps even a brick-red linen cover for a family armchair. When combined with lime-patina walls, you'll achieve a tranquil environment conducive to relaxation—easy on the eyes and the soul.
How to Hang Curtains in an Original Way?
The ultimate finishing touch to beautifying your home with textiles is dressing your windows. Ideally, your curtains should harmonise with your bed linen. A natural linen curtain serves as the perfect complement to already washed bed linens.
Opting for premium linen offers the advantage of subtlety in colour choices while maintaining character. Choose simple drapes that align with your bohemian-inspired bedding, irrespective of their hue. To inject personality, consider varying hanging styles: knots, metal rings, or gathers. Playful chic details, such as a bourdon finish that accentuates the hem, are also delightful. Consider drawing attention with linen tiebacks in complementary shades or echoing details from your bedding.
Curtains define your décor and set the mood of your space. They also manage the light, akin to a theatrical production where lighting dictates the ambience. By employing linen curtains—preferably in a crumpled texture—you can filter natural light for a soft, muffled atmosphere, ideal for naps or during the heat of summer. Pair them with blackout fabric, and your linen curtains serve dual purposes: functional shutters when drawn and decorative accents when opened, allowing bright, energising light to flow through.
So, how can you hang curtains in a distinctive manner? Think creatively with rods, DIY tiebacks, or dramatic drapery styles. Don’t hesitate to think “big” when measuring and playing with the fabric; knotting offers any fabric instant character.
Ultimately, to bestow your bedroom with personality and charm, a few yards of exquisite fabric are all you need. Select high-quality French linen sheets, lightweight and dreamy, layer them with an abundance of bed pillows, and drape a beautiful quilt. Enhance the space with family photo frames and a stylish pair of curtains, uniquely tied to your taste. Your room will radiate individuality, standing apart from all others.

A Review Of Love’s cabin
Living in South Carolina, where the weather can be unpredictable, I was on the hunt for a king-size quilt that would provide that extra touch of weight without making my bed feel too warm, especially during the warmer months. I stumbled upon the Navy Blue Bedspreads from Kitinjoy, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase. First and foremost, the lightweight design of this quilt set is exactly what I was looking for. It adds just the right amount of extra weight to my bed without causing discomfort or overheating. This is particularly important in South Carolina, where the climate can be humid, and heavy bedding can be impractical, even during the cooler evenings. The microfiber material of the bedspread is incredibly soft to the touch, providing a luxurious feel while maintaining breathability. This is a key factor for me, as I wanted a quilt that not only added a bit of weight but also felt comfortable against my skin. The navy blue color adds a touch of sophistication to my bedroom, complementing the overall aesthetic without being too overpowering. Surprisingly, despite its lightweight nature, this quilt set offers an unexpected bonus: warmth. It strikes the perfect balance, providing just enough coziness without causing discomfort on warmer nights. It has become my go-to bedding option year-round, offering versatility that I truly appreciate. The king-size dimensions are spot on, draping beautifully over my bed. The quality of the stitching and overall craftsmanship is evident, giving me confidence that this quilt set will stand the test of time. It’s also easy to care for – a simple toss in the washing machine, and it comes out looking as good as new. In conclusion, the Navy Blue Bedspread have exceeded my expectations. If you’re in search of a king-size quilt set that adds a pleasant weight to your bed without sacrificing comfort, look no further. This lightweight microfiber bedspread has become a staple in my bedroom, providing the perfect blend of style, comfort, and functionality, regardless of the season in sunny South Carolina.

Buying a Quilted Bedspread
If you're looking for a new bedspread, there are several different options to choose from. You can opt for a quilted one, which has a layer of batting between two layers of fabric. Another option is a duvet, which is also composed of multiple layers of batting and is designed for a more comfortable sleep. Alternatively, you can opt for a throw blanket, which is a type of comforter.
Tumblr media
Duvet
Quilted bedspreads are an inexpensive way to add personality to your bedroom. They can also be a great alternative to a top sheet. In addition, they are easy to wash and change out for a different look and style.
There are many factors to consider when purchasing a new bed covering. One of the most important is a personal preference. You will want to make sure that the material you choose will be comfortable and that it will work with your sleeping habits.
The choice of bedding can affect the quality of your sleep. If you have allergies, you may want to avoid duvets filled with feathers and wool. Instead, you may want to go with hypoallergenic polyester or synthetic fillings.
When selecting a duvet, make sure to choose a size that is appropriate for your needs. People with tall frames should choose a duvet that is a bit longer than their mattress. Otherwise, they may wake up sweaty in the middle of the night and have to toss and turn to keep warm.
Comforter
If you're looking for a way to add style to your bedroom, you may want to consider buying a quilted bedspreads. These are lightweight, decorative bed covers that are designed to provide warmth without overheating. They are often paired with a comforter to provide a cozy look to a bed.
A quilt is a woven cloth top, a middle layer of thin batting, and a bottom fabric layer. The fabric is usually cotton but can be made from wool, silk, or a blend of both.
There are many different kinds of quilts. Some are simple, while others feature unique prints. Choosing one can be challenging, especially if you're not sure what your preferences are.
Quilts are perfect for those who like to have a tidy bed. They also allow for greater air circulation. This can be important if you live in an area that is particularly hot. However, you should avoid comforters if you're a sleeper who tends to get cold.
Coverlet
Quilted bedspreads coverlets have become increasingly popular in recent years. This is because they are easy to care for, lightweight, and decorative. They also come in a variety of trendy patterns.
These types of bed coverings are usually found in the bed linen department of stores. The best way to choose one is to consider what you want to use it for. You'll need to think about what kind of weather you live in, how you like to sleep, and how much warmth you want. If you want a lot of layers, a quilt will do the trick.
Coverlets are also a great option for summertime. They are lightweight, so they are a great choice for those who live in the tropics. When shopping, keep in mind that most are machine washable, making it easier to clean and maintain.
Some people choose to pair a coverlet with dust ruffles. Another great option is a woven one. A mattock coverlet is a woven piece that is woven on a jacquard loom.
Throw Blanket
Quilted throw blankets are a great way to keep warm. They are durable, reversible, and breathable. Plus, they can add a stylish touch to your home. You can find a wide variety of brands on kritarthhandicrafts. Whether you are looking for a quilted throw blanket for your bed, a kitchen rug, or a cozy blanket to sit on, you can find it on kritarthhandicrafts.
You can choose from a variety of styles and colors. You can also choose to have your throw made from wool. Wool is a warm, breathable material that is hypoallergenic. Compared to fleece blankets, wool will keep you warmer. However, fleece blankets can be less breathable.
Throws are a great option to keep you warm while adding a decorative touch to your home. The surface is soft, dries quickly, and is reversible. These blankets are great to add a layer of protection while you are reading a book or relaxing on the couch.

Pieck was visiting again.
It was the third time that week, and though the woman was perfectly polite Levi found it difficult not to side eye her as she chatted vivaciously with his spouse.
Hange.
Bandages finally stripped away; gnarled, angry scars exposed and then hidden once more beneath the long sleeves of a shirt. They had only been made more ruggedly handsome by the patchwork of their healed wounds.
Speaking to Pieck, grinning despite the stiffness in their cheek, they were glowing. Beaming. Radiating an energy of confidence and an attitude that leaned towards the masculine. A rare form for the usually androgynous Hange Zoe.
They were positively charming, and Levi was beside himself that such a reaction wasn't directed towards him.
Hange liked Pieck. She awakened something within them that often lay latent. And having heard the rumors within the Corps that Hange had once preferred women to men? Levi was piqued.
But he wasn't an animal. And he certainly wasn't about to mistreat a guest in his own home. So he poured the pair their tea and bided his time in the kitchen as they caught up.
Where normally he preferred to be relegated to the quiet, supportive role of house husband, the longer Pieck lingered the more irate he became. The uncharacteristic wave of jealousy had him fuming by the end of the afternoon, scrubbing a plate in the sink until it shattered in his hand.
“What was that?” He heard Hange stand and Pieck make a slight noise of alarm.
Levi cursed, holding his hand beneath the stream of warm water as it bled.
“Levi, is everything alright in here?” Hange peered around the doorframe, handsome face framed by russet hair. Their single eye shone curiously; mercifully spared from the flames all those months ago.
“Yeah,” Levi groused, not so much as looking up from his wound. He prodded it with a finger, finding that it wasn’t particularly deep. He took a clean dish rag and patted the area dry before wrapping it. “I’m fine. Go back to Pieck.”
“Levi,” Hange’s voice dropped to a whisper, “Is that a hint of jealousy that I detect?”
“Shut it!” Levi snapped, finally spinning on his heel to face his partner, “You have a guest, attend to her!”
A knowing smirk passed over Hange’s face as they shrugged their shoulders and left the kitchen, presumably returning to Pieck.
Levi let out a frustrated huff, leaning his back into the damp counter. He pressed the rag tight around his hand, staunching the flow of blood. His eyes were drawn to the shattered plate, and he silently cursed his own emotionality.
“It was great seeing you,” he heard Hange from the living room.
“You too, Hange,” slowly, Levi crept towards the kitchen door, peering out towards the living area where Pieck and Hange were currently locked in a friendly embrace. His stomach sank like a stone watching them.
Hange saw Pieck to the door, and as soon as it was shut behind the woman they turned on heel and planted their hands firmly on their hips.
“And how fares my jealous husband?” They called to him where he remained in the liminal space between the kitchen and living room. “You’re being ridiculous, you know.”
Levi pursed his mouth, removing the rag from his hand. The wound had clotted. It would likely scar.
“You pick the strangest times to be possessive,” Hange sighed, approaching him. They wrapped their arms around his waist, pulling him flush to them. They smiled down at him, ran a hand up the curve of his spine. Levi shivered at the contact. “Pieck, really?”
Levi looked away, even as Hange raised a hand, thumb brushing over the curve of his cheekbone. He flushed, unbidden.
“Pieck is a woman,” the admission was small, perhaps slightly ashamed.
“Your deductive skills are still keen, I see,” Hange teased, and they kissed the corner of his mouth.
“Fuck, shitty-glasses, what is it that you want from me?”
Hange kissed him, slow and chaste. He was beginning to calm despite himself, his partner’s soothing touch was irresistible. Then he remembered the sight of Pieck’s hand on Hange’s arm; friendly and harmless, and prickling rage climbed up his spine once more.
“Pieck is a woman and I’m not,” Levi seethed, unable to help but lean into Hange’s warmth.
“Again, your skills of deduction are unrivaled... are you really jealous?”
“Hange.”
Wordlessly Hange dropped their hand to take his, winding their fingers together even as his quivered with jealousy.
“I know what you need,” the former Commander teased as they led him towards their bedroom. The bed was neatly made; dark coverlets pulled flush beneath downy pillows. It would not remain that way for long.
“Sex?” Levi grunted? He couldn’t pretend he was interested, but he was still fuming (unreasonably).
Hange laid back on the sheets, spreading their arms wide, “I was going to suggest a nap for the grumpy toddler.”
“I don’t want a fucking nap,” Levi seethed, and he pulled Hange up by their arm, seating them on the edge of the bed so he could kiss them, ravish them, really. All of his anger and possessiveness was poured into the kiss. Their teeth scarped, Levi’s tongue lancing as Hange submitted under his assault.
Their hands caressed down his shoulders, but he stopped their slow descent towards his fly by snatching their wrists in a single hand.
“Tell me you love me,” He snarled, flipping them onto their stomach. He tugged their pants down hastily, revealing the pink folds of their dewy cunt. Levi pressed a probing finger inside, finding that they were already wet and pliant. Moaning and writhing against his jealousy fueled ministrations. “Only me.”
“Love you,” Hange whined, hips rocking back and onto his hand wetness spilled around Levi’s finger. “Only you. Only ever you, Levi.”
Grinding his teeth, Levi removed his finger, pressing it between his thin lips to taste the essence of his lover. They were sharp, tangy, earthy and human in a way that he could not put to words. It made his cock twitch.
“Fuck, Hange,” He fished his thick cock out of his fly, aligning himself swiftly with the heat of Hange’s cunt. His eyes flashed dark and dangerous, teeth flashing as he rocked forward and sheathed himself in a single fluid motion.
“Shit!” Hange bucked back onto him, fisting the sheets with white knuckles. They turned their head to the side, face flushed bright pink as Levi set a steady, rough pace, fucking them loud and lewd.
“Mine,” Levi grunted, half sobbing with pleasure and rage, his hand fisted into Hange’s russet hair, forcing their back to arch as they took his cock even deeper. “My Hange.”
He brought his hand down on the smooth skin of Hange’s asscheek, the loud slap carrying through the narrow hallways of their shared home.
“Yours!” Hange exclaimed, rear jiggling back onto him, cunt squelching wetly as they began to tighten with impending orgasm.
Levi leaned over them, breath puffing hot on the back of their neck as he snapped his hips, losing all rhythm. He tugged their hair harder, craning their neck and kissing along the curve of it as his dick began to swell and twitch, balls tightening to his body. Their was fire in his loins, blooming across his lower back and thighs as he reach the pinnacle of their jealously fueled fuck.
“M gonna cum,” Hange whimpered, drooling into the sheets as Levi finally dropped their hair. He stood behind them, slightly crouched, hands on their hips, fingers digging in with a force that would surely bruise as he fucked them with every ounce of his strength and energy.
The sight of his handprint, red and stinging on their ass like a brand, was enough to send Levi spiraling over the edge.
“Hange!” He shouted their name as his hips stuttered to a stop, dick buried deep as he spilled himself into them.
Hange groped at the sheets, sweating and gasping as they came alongside him, cunt bearing down like a vice.
“Fuck,” Levi rasped, collapsing onto Hange’s back. All of his rage, his jealousy, his misplaced anger began to wane in the softness of the afterglow. He brushed his lips along their clothed shoulders and the exposed notches of their spine. Their skin was salty with sweat.
Hange let out a breathless laugh, flipping onto their back and tugging Levi with them. His head settled on their chest, fingers curling lightly into the fabric of their shirt.
“You know, Levi,” they were grinning ear to ear, tone playful, eyes glassy with the remnants of their pleasure. “I’m not particularly interested in women... and even if I were, there isn’t a person in the world who compares to you, tiny husband.”
Levi huffed, now it was his turn to flush, “I’m not tiny.”
Hange’s russet eye flashed with mischief, “You’re big where it counts.”
The former Captain snorted, then propped himself up on his elbow so he could reach his partner’s lips.
When they parted, Levi glanced down the bed to where their mingled cum had stained the spread. His lips quirked downward into a scowl, “Damn it, I just washed the sheets yesterday.”
Hange’s eye was beginning to flutter shut, preparing for an afternoon nap. They mumbled, half asleep, “We have sex in this bed at least four times a week. A little cum won’t kill you.”
Levi sighed, then pressed his lips to Hange’s temple, “Sleep, four-eyes. I’m sorry I got so jealous, that was foolish of me.”
Though their eye was closed, a small smile graced their lips, “Love you, short stack.”
“I love you, too,” Levi answered.

Poison Kiss (But, Like, In A Good Way)
A poisoned Tang Fan is hot, then cold.
Sui Zhou takes care of him.
(come for the overdramatic beginning, stay for the fluff!)
The Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty - Suitang - 1.7k - T - pretty fluffy overall - AO3
_____________________________
Heat, flaming heat, melting his skin and cooking his marrow—
Something wet. Water? Cold, wet, all around him—
Tang Fan opens his eyes. He’s in the bathtub, with Sui Zhou and Old Pei standing over him. Sui Zhou is bent over the rim of the tub and holding him from behind as if afraid that Tang Fan will slip beneath the water if he lets go. He does so slowly, keeping a grip on his arm as he moves around the tub to look down at Tang Fan.
Old Pei breathes a sigh of relief as Tang Fan blinks. “How do you feel?”
Tang Fan blinks. The room is spinning, Sui Zhou’s worried face the only thing in clear focus. “I feel—I feel—hot—”
“I need to get more ice.” Sui Zhou ladles cold water over Tang Fan’s shoulders. “I’ll find someone—”
“No.” Old Pei’s voice is grave. “I don’t think ice will help. The heat is coming from within…take him out, Sui Zhou.”
Gently, Sui Zhou lifts Tang Fan from the bath, wrapping his naked body in a towel. “Hang in there,” he tells Tang Fan, almost too low to hear. “Old Pei is working on something…”
“Get him back to bed.”
Sui Zhou carries Tang Fan back to bed. His arms are warm, too warm, but there’s a sense of security about him that Tang Fan clings to even as he feels himself begin to float, mind adrift again.
Hot. Too hot…
Something soft beneath him as Sui Zhou lays him down in bed. He removes the towel, draping it modestly over Tang Fan’s midsection but leaving the rest of him bare to sweat into the sheets.
“What now?” he hears Sui Zhou’s asking. A tugging sensation at his scalp, and he hazily thinks that someone must be combing out his wet hair. “He can’t go on like this.”
“I know—I know—let me think—”
A damp cloth dabbing his jaw, his throat, his chest. The familiar scent of Sui Zhou’s soap, the soap he’d brought home from the army, a clean fresh scent, as Sui Zhou bends near him. The faint scent of cooking, still clinging to Sui Zhou's clothes. Sui Zhou’s hair, tickling his bare chest as Sui Zhou sponges his skin. His face, magnified by Tang Fan's fever: his eyes wide with worry, usual dark circles under his eye even darker, well-formed lips slightly parted as if about to speak—
Tang Fan reaches up with a shaking hand, hooks a finger in Sui Zhou’s collar, pulls him down, pulls him close.
Kisses him.
He’s too hazy to have put much thought into it. Any thought into it.
The kiss is soft and sweet and broken abruptly by Sui Zhou as he jerks away.
A small gasping sound, and Old Pie’s amused voice: “Well, I can’t say I’m surprised, but—”
“He’s delirious!”
A clucking sound. “It’s alright, Sui Zhou. I’m a broadminded man, though I can’t say I’m—”
“Doctor Pei, this is not—”
A laugh. “I’m not judging you. Take care of him. I have a lead on some ice. Keep sponging him down! Give it another hour, then you can bathe him again. I’ll be right back—”
A flap of material, and the sound of a door closing.
Sui Zhou looks down at Tang Fan. He stares up at him, eyes bright, face flushed. He’s in just his kun, or drawers, looking even thinner and frailer than usual after days of fever and malnourishment. He's begun to move again, as if the heat in his skin has become painful. Gently Sui Zhou pins him to the bed, his skin hot beneath his hands.
"Just lie still," he whispers, keeping his head back this time, out of kissing range. "Hush. Lie still...."
The sound of his voice seems to sooth Tang Fan, and he stops moving, though he still grasps at Sui Zhou's robe, as if trying to draw him closer.
Leaning away, Sui Zhou dips a cloth into a bowl of tepid water and begins dabbing at Tang Fan’s narrow chest, sponging the ice-cold sweat from his skin. He’s still alarmingly warm to the touch, damp hair stuck to his throat and shoulders, skin pink and splotchy, lips white and chapped.
Lips that had…
Delirious. Tang Fan must be delirious…
Tang Fan reaches up a long slender arm, resting his hot sweaty hand on Sui Zhou’s cheek.
“Where did Old Pei go?” he asks. His voice is rough, almost inaudible. “Don’t leave me too…”
Sui Zhou swallows. “I’m not going to leave you.”
“Don’t…”
“I won’t.” He removes Tang Fan’s hand and wipes it down, laying it gently on the coverlet. “I’m here. I’m still here…”
Tang Fan tilts his head. “I knew you wouldn’t, Guangchuan. I can always count on you. Always.”
Sui Zhou swallows a surge of anxiety. Tang Fan, for all his surface frivolity and friendliness, is not one to speak about his feelings, or anything truly intimate. Sui Zhou can count on one hand the number of times he’d said anything like that.
And as for the kiss—
Tang Fan closes his eyes.
Gently, Sui Zhou runs the washcloth over Tang Fan’s flushed limbs. His skin is smooth and unscarred, the long slender lines of his throat meeting his frail-looking collarbones, his whole appearance of that of something fragile and beautifully delicate.
Something to be protected.
He turns him over on his stomach, moves his damp hair aside, and sponges the sweat from his bony pink-and-white back. His shoulder blades are sharp, his backbone a long bumpy line, his ribs visible.
Tang Fan twitches, rolling over on his side. “Guangchuan?”
“Still here.”
Weakly, Tang Fan pushes the damp cloth away. “I’m cold now.”
Sui Zhou feels his forehead. Tang Fan is right. With alarming abruptness his hot pink skin has gone white and cold to the touch, his entire body wracked with sudden chills.
Sui Zhou straightens in alarm. “I’ll go heat water for a bath—”
“Don’t leave me!” Tang Fan is speaking more clearly than before, but there’s unmistakably febrile panic choking his voice. “Don’t leave me alone—”
“I can’t let you freeze—”
Tang Fan clutches the front of Sui Zhou’s robe. “You’re warm.”
“I…”
Tang Fan moves aside, one trembling grayish hand on the sweaty sheets beside him. “Please, Guangchuan, I’m so cold—haven’t you ever been cold?—”
That settles it for Sui Zhou. He has been cold. Many times, while serving at the border. Cold, and hungry, and alone, and—not that he would admit it aloud—afraid, at times, as Tang Fan is now. At least until the creeping numbness took over as he kept surviving, and surviving, and surviving while everyone around him died...
He removes his damp outer clothes and crawls into bed beside Tang Fan, pulling the blankets over them. Tang Fan curls into him, a shivering bundle of bones. He wraps his arms around him tightly, moving Tang Fan’s hair away from his cold clammy skin so that it can dry without chilling Tang Fan further.
Tang Fan’s face is pressed against the hollow of his throat, his shallow breath cool on his skin. Sui Zhou pulls him closer, making sure the bedclothes are tucked tightly around them, keeping his warmth contained for Tang Fan to absorb.
He’s never shared a bed with someone before, definitely not someone pressed tightly against him like a sick kitten. Tang Fan is trembling, shivering violently, ice-cold hands inside Sui Zhou’s undershirt and pressed against his chest as if seeking his warmth.
Sui Zhou reaches around him, runs his hands up and down Tang Fan’s arms, tries to rub heat back into him. Tang Fan's arms are too lean, with little flesh or muscle to warm his fragile body. Hesitantly, fearing he’s going too far but uncertain of how else to help the shaking bundle of bones in his arms, Sui Zhou wraps a leg around Tang Fan, pinning Tang Fan’s long thin legs between his.
Take it, he wants to say. Take my warmth, take all of it…
Slowly, Tang Fan stops shaking, his violent trembling tapering into a gentle shiver. He moves slightly, resting his head on Sui Zhou’s shoulder. His eyes are still hot and glazed, but his breathing is deeper, steadier, chest moving against Sui Zhou’s.
Sui Zhou is afraid to move. He’s not used to this. He’s used to protecting by using his body as a weapon, not something that can warm, heal, comfort.
But it’s always been like that with Tang Fan, he realizes suddenly. And with Dong’er, brought into his life by Tang Fan. He's never done this kind of thing before, but cooking for them is something soft, something nurturing, something that gives life instead of bloodily protecting it.
“I want soup,” Tang Fan murmurs as if he can read his thoughts. “A brand-new soup.”
Sui Zhou feels his forehead again. He wants so badly to stay like this, but there's a fear again, a fear of what this might mean. A memory of the kiss—not a memory. The kiss has yet to have left his mind at all...
“Are you hungry again, or just cold?" he asks. "I’ll go fix you something—”
“No.” Tang Fan’s fingers dig into Sui Zhou’s chest, his voice a mere whisper. “Stay with me.”
Sui Zhou wonders if it’s the fever talking, as he’s certain it was for a kiss. It’s as if Sui Zhou is a giant puppy or a hot stone wrapped in cloth and tucked under the covers, warming Tang Fan. Nothing more than that. Anyone could do the same thing…
“Guangchuan." Tang Fan is almost inaudible. “You won’t leave me, right?”
Sui Zhou swallows. “I told you I wouldn’t.”
“I mean…if I get well…”
“You will.”
“…if I get well…you won’t leave me, will you?”
“Why would I leave you?”
“Make me leave you. I owe so much in rent…and food…”
"Forget all that." Sui Zhou smiles to himself, suddenly wanting to laugh, not something he feels often. Tang Fan is still cold against him, but Sui Zhou suddenly feels warm. “You’re not going anywhere.”
Tang Fan presses his face against Sui Zhou, fingers beginning to lose some of their chill. “Promise?” he murmurs.
“I promise.” He wants to ask him about the kiss, but he has time.
Tang Fan will get better. He knows he will.
And now that he’s promised him free rent and food, he’ll never get rid of him.
Pulling Tang Fan closer, he closes his eyes and thinks of soup.

sailorsol replied to your post “I simply do not care for the term “shelter in place” so I have decided...”
1) I approve. 2) I think you need to consider the fact that March is now the month that requires surviving, and lay off February in the future. 3) I remember when you used to call them doonagh days, and this is like two or three weeks of it!
OMG yes doona days! Although I still have to work from home and I need two monitors to do it, so a desk is necessary. But at least my commute is shortened.
spiderine replied to your photo “Taking a break from the Purple Cow today to bring you some fun drawing...”
What is it with all the purple?
Well, I only had two Ed Emberley books, the Big Purple and Big Orange, and I figured I’d make purple a brand. :D
I have the sequel to the Purple Cow book too, I probably have enough content to at least get us to May. Oooh and I have my Halloween Crafts For Kids book around here somewhere, it has the best “paper bat” template in it.
geekgirl76 replied to your post “rdprice29 replied to your photoset “Decided it was time to change out...”
I have a problematic relationship with duvet covers, they're far too much bother to wash weekly so yeah, top sheets rock. But then, my bedding is more traditional, in that I often have a quilt or coverlet over my duvet, so it's not like I'm doing the whole all in one thing anyway.
I used to do duvet-plus-quilt in winter, but then I got a super thick duvet and started overheating if I did it that way...
kel121288 replied to your post “rdprice29 replied to your photoset “Decided it was time to change out...”
Wait... there are people who don't use top sheets?
Oh yeah. And I have to admit there is a very nice feeling in just crawling directly under a blanket. But my days of No Topsheet are long past me now...
delphia2000 replied to your post “rdprice29 replied to your photoset “Decided it was time to change out...”
Top sheets can be used as a bottom sheet if they are big enough to be tucked under. Also, sew 2 together with an open end to make a new duvet. My kid (who is old enough to called a full grown ass man now!) also hates top sheets. I figured it was generational.
Oh shit, I might mend the topsheet I’m retiring and turn it into a duvet cover, that’s not a bad idea. Otherwise it’s going to be used as lining for a gift I’m sewing for a friend.

lilia—“are you drunk?”
Maia was woken by the crash on her fire escape. She jolted out of her bed, shifting instinctively into a defensive stance as her sleep bleary eyes adjusted to the darkness of the room. Her apartment had been warded against demons, but that didn’t mean it was completely safe from mundane criminals. She tensed, her lycanthropy enhanced hearing straining to hear the sounds from outside her window.
If it was a thief they weren’t doing a very good job of being quiet. Maia heard the clatter of shoes and a clang followed by soft cursing as someone banged their head against something. She stood up, easing herself up off the soft coverlet of her bed, and tiptoed to the window. It took a second for her eyes to make sense of the shadows beyond the glass, indistinct in the darkness of the alley.
A girl was crouched on the cold bars of the fire escape, her long dark hair swinging free in a black shadow around the pale smudge of her face. Maia saw the sharp glint of her teeth and felt herself begin to smile, tiredness vanishing to be replaced by something warm and familiar. Lily.
She slid the window up, propping her head on her hands as she leaned against the sill. Lily heard the sound and jerked her head up towards her, eyes hidden in shadows. She didn’t seem in any hurry to rise from where she sat on the cold metal, but then again the cold didn’t bother her like it bothered Maia.
“What’re you doing here?” Maia pitched her voice low, not wanting to alert any sleeping neighbors. It was chilly in the alley and goosebumps rose on her bare arms as she shivered.
Lily stood up, wobbling slightly, and stumbled over to where Maia was. She leaned in close, her face inches from Maia’s own. If she had still breathed her breath would have ghosted across Maia’s lips. She didn’t smell like anything, just the cold night air and Maia felt the weight of her gaze like a brand as it skittered over her face.
“I wanted to see you.” Lily said, a little too loudly. Maia started. Lily’s voice wasn’t its usual clear cadence. Her words were slurred, trailing into one another in a slow rush. If Maia didn’t know better…
She squinted at Lily. “Hang on a second. Are you drunk?”
Lily smiled widely, her teeth flashing in the dim light. “Vampires don’t get drunk silly.”
Maia knew that wasn’t exactly true. She’d heard about Raphael giving Simon drugged blood once, and Simon’s subsequent embarrassing spectacle outside the Inquisitor's house in Idris. And Lily was clearly intoxicated to some capacity.
Still, Lily had walked all the way from the Hotel Dumort to see her and Maia couldn’t help but feel inexplicably touched by the gesture. She reached out to tuck a strand of Lily’s soft hair behind her ear, fingers brushing over cool skin. “Well get in here then.”
Getting Lily up and over the windowsill proved to be more difficult than it should have been. Lily had been spending the nights at Maia’s more and more but she had a key to the apartment, there was absolutely no reason to use the fire escape.
After Lily had tumbled over the ledge in a heap of arms and legs she stood up and kicked off her shoes. She dug her bare toes into the thick carpet and sighed contentedly. “I love it here.”
Maia felt a rush of tenderness go through her. There was something so human about Lily sometimes that it made Maia forget that she was immortal. Along with the tenderness came the urge to be drunk as well. “Stay here. I’ll be back in a second.”
Despite Maia’s protestations Lily followed her to the kitchen, her usually soundless steps slightly clumsy on the tiles. Everything in the kitchen was a little shabby, from the faded paint to the chipped mugs in the sink. Maia reached into the cabinet above the fridge, pulling down a bottle of tequila and a shot glass. The clock above the stove told her that it was 2:17am.
Lily watched her through heavily lidded eyes, tracing her gaze up and down Maia’s body lazily before looking away quickly and fixing her gaze on the ticking second hand of the clock. Maia threw a shot back, welcoming the heat in her throat and stomach, trying to ignore the nervous stutter of her heart.
She reached across Lily, flicking on the battered radio she listened to while she did the dishes. She suddenly realized that Lily was wearing only a black slip, the kind she would wear to go out partying. It clung to her curves tightly, only black mesh covering the deep v neck. Maia’s throat went dry and she quickly took another shot, hoping that she didn’t look too awestruck.
Not that Lily would notice. Maia watched bemused as Lily began to sway in her seat, head tilted back, eyes closed in ecstasy. “Oh I love this song.” She began to sing along, slightly out of sync.
We knew this day would come.
We knew it all along.
Maia took another shot and felt herself beginning to smile. Her head buzzed pleasantly, the edges of the night taking on a softness they hadn’t held before. She laughed as Lily threw up her hands.
And when the daylight comes I’ll have to go.
But tonight I’m gonna hold you so close.
Moved by a sudden impulse, Maia grabbed Lily’s hands, spinning her around to the beat of the music. Lily stumbled but righted herself, giggling as they danced clumsily. Maia felt heat rush through her from where they pressed together. One of Lily’s hands cupped her waist, fingers firm against the soft cotton of Maia’s shorts. Maia nestled against her, closing her eyes, drowsiness taking hold of her as the song swelled to its end.
She yawned and Lily laughed, the sound bright in the dimness of the kitchen. “Let’s go to bed.”
“It’s the middle of the day for you.” Maia mumbled against the soft ink spill of her hair.
Lily laughed again, softer this time, and began to lead her back to her bedroom, switching off the radio with a click. Her fingers held warmth now where Maia had held them and the brush of them was comforting.
They tumbled into the bed, Maia pushing Lily down into the tangled sheets with a quick burst of energy, pressing a long slow kiss to the curve of her mouth. Their bodies pressed together for a glorious moment before Maia had to pull away to yawn again. She could still taste tequila.
She sighed and rolled off of the shorter woman, pulling the blanket up around them. “Don’t leave.” She whispered, and felt Lily’s arm go over her as she fitted her body against the curve of Maia’s back. Maia couldn’t remember the last time someone had felt so much like home.
Lily pressed her face into the back of Maia’s neck, leaving a gentle kiss on the soft skin there. “I’ll roast in the sun if I leave in the morning so you’re stuck with me.”
Even as Maia laughed she felt herself drifting off into dreams, nothing but the weight of Lily as her anchor.

Inspired by a tweet from starsshine77  Fem!Kylo and Fem!Hux with catfishing, internet trolling, Diva Hux, and crybaby Kylo.
Still thinking of e-girl troll Hux. She has a vid of her wearing novelty vampire teeth and chewing on strawberries. She looks all innocent despite posing in her dark corner set up wearing a blood soaked dress. The caption says "i wuv vegans uwu save the earth!"
She composes these videos wanting to shock and confuse as many people as possible. She loves the high.
Kylo knew her in the K-8 private school they went to. Kylo had been in awe of the snooty older girl. When Kylo got her first laptop, she started following Hux's descent into trolling and performative arts. Hux would talk on her blog about how much she loved going to school wearing a normie flesh suit and then shedding it after school.
When Hux went to college for her MBA, she wasn't very active online. Kylo was dismayed but kept checking her blog. When Kylo is 19, Hux posts that she's starting a makeup and fashion channel. Kylo is startled to see that all of Hux's old internet presence is gone. Kylo was glad she saved all of the photos to a hard drive to prove that those years existed.
Kylo is Hux's first subscriber. She's so embarrassed thinking Hux is going to show up and confront her about it. But nothing happens.
Kylo works at a cafe while going to community college while Hux is making herself look like a living doll. The 24 yo doesn't say much about her life. Just off hand comments like:
"This mascara really stays on when you cry in the toilets at work."
"Sometimes you have to wear a mask around men."
"I hate the New York stench. So I use this perfume."
Kylo's pillows get two spurts of the perfume each week.
It's around this time Kylo realizes she's in love. She feels silly that she hadn't noticed it earlier, but she's always been slow.
Hux posts a video about once every two weeks. Kylo watches and studies each one voraciously. Hux slowly goes back to her cynical, dark self. Kylo missed it dearly while others find it disturbing.
Hux offers livestreams and Kylo rearranges her work schedule to attend with an alternate account. In Kylo's rush, she chose a very fit male torso as her profile pic.
The livestream is a shit show. Chat is accusing Hux of things while Hux slings insults at them. The service ends the stream and bans Hux.
Hux's next yt video does not mention the stream at all. She's chipper and cheeky as she does a clothes haul. Kylo is in awe. If she was in Hux's position, she'd have to be institutionalized for severe depression. Instead Hux is beaming at the camera saying the day's date and how much she loves this day. Kylo wonders why and goes down a rabbit hole to discover Mr. Hux passed away last year due to a heart attack.
Kylo uses her alt account and DMs Hux that she loves her smile. Kylo stares at the screen in shock that she sent the message. But she did.
Two hours later, Hux writes back with 'I give you something to smile about, fuckwad.'
Kylo types lightning fast before fully comprehending Hux's words, 'Oh yes please do.'
A couple minutes later, 'For real?'
Kylo bites her lip, 'Please.'
They fall into a weird pattern of Kylo complementing Hux and Hux replying in insults.
As Kylo turns 21, Hux becomes an overnight sensation on a viral platform. Kylo is wrapping up her accounting bachelors degree and nearly fails her midterms due to watching Hux's daily vids.
Their routine takes another turn when Hux starts sending Kylo photos of outfits. Hux would rarely wear the ones Kylo picked.
After a stressful day, Kylo is thrilled to see Hux wearing the checkered bra peaking out of a tight black body suit. 'Thank you. You made my day.'
Hux responds with a puke emoji and a very suggestive pic of the body suit unzipped. Her pale belly glowed. Kylo wrote back, 'My whole year is made. Beautiful. Thank you.'
Hux doesn't reply until next week.
Hux becomes a global phenomenon. Kylo is worried. She catches herself wanting to type 'are you okay?' But doesn't feel like it's her place.
Then the joke that got out of hand happens the next year.
Kylo's alternate account became a true catfish in order to be a top tier patron of Hux.
Kylo declines the video chat perks but wants the bathwater.
------
Hux's life sucks. She's never been happy. Never even had the chance to recognize it, really. She liked things but would get bored or hurt sooner than later.
It was weird that some girl from her hometown became her number one fan. Hux had no idea until a year into talking with Kylo in her DMs. She was stupidly catching feelings for this supposed guy who was nothing but supportive and kind to her. She wanted to know who he was, but he was very shy and declined to answer.
She had been partying after big sale with the sales team when she bumped into a guy that recognized her from the internet. He simpered at how amazingly scary she was. Intrigued, she got to know that he worked at a background company. She offered to use him if he gave her the info on this Kylo Ren guy.
It was nice to vent her frustrations of being catfished on the guy. Mitch was his name? She never saw him again since the morning after.
But she couldn't confront the weird goth girl from her hometown. Hux liked the compliments too much. They kept her going.
And as her corporate job found out her internet life along with the rest of the world, she needed Kylo desperately.
The suggestive photo was a shot in the dark. She had no idea if Kylo saw her as a gal pal or a /gal pal/. Hux returned to their hometown to see Kylo from a far after the Beautiful comment. Hux was stunned to see how tall Kylo is.
Kylo's social media only had two photos of herself. One of her at High school graduation and another of her tagged in her mom's second marriage. The former photo was her at a distance walking up to receive her diploma and the other was her sitting uncomfortably.
Hux couldn't enter the cafe. Kylo's snaggle tooth smile as two kids ordered something made Hux feel like the Grinch. She turned around and stomped back to her rental car feeling like an idiot.
It lessened when she got her first brand deal the next day. Money is one hell of an aphrodisiac.
Then the bathwater...
...and Kylo pouring it down her ample cleavage. The water shimmered down the sloping belly with the filter Kylo was using. It joined the rest of the frothy bathwater. Hux was bummed Kylo's mound was hidden below the surface.
'Now that's some bathwater I could drink for days.'
She smirked at Kylo's reply: 'I am so sorry for lying to you all this time. I didn't know it would ever get this far. Please don't hate me!'
'Sweetie, I just told you I'd drink your bathwater. I like you. You're sexy af.'
'Oh. Uh, thanks. You, too.'
'I knew who you were for a while.'
'Oh! Wow. Would you prefer if I was a guy?'
'No. Never.'
Hux frowned as twenty minutes went by, 'You good?'
'Yeah, I was crying. You're so special to me.'
Hux felt flushed instead of her usual reaction of 'Oh, get over it.' Kylo was genuine.
As Hux's businesses crumbled due to a volley of harassment and misconceptions, she knew she had a golden parachute. She cut her hair to a severe pixie cut after finalizing her business arrangements. She packed up her condo the next day and put it on the market the following day.
She rented a car on the fourth day and drove back to her hometown with her favorite clothes. Kylo was unaware of what she was up to and was sending sweet words of encouragement three times a day.
Hux pulls into Kylo's apartment complex feeling dead tired. But she wants this moment to be truly special. So she changes into an outfit that Kylo loved. Her strawberry school girl outfit, her orange tabby cat ears, and her pink faux fur coat. Her feet hurt too much for heels and she wants to enjoy Kylo's extra height. She grabs two of her suitcases and heads up to Kylo's apartment. Taking a deep breath, she knocks.
Kylo answers the door in a sports bra and pj pants. She stares at Hux dumbfounded before squeaking a hello. Hux sighs, "If you don't hug me in the next-"
Kylo pulls her into a hug and Hux hums appreciating their height difference. Kylo's chest feels just right against her own and Kylo's hands are so big!
"Wait a minute... why do you smell like my old perfume?"
Kylo blushes, "I, um... been following you for a while?"
Hux nods slowly before getting her voice back, "Well, now you won't need to follow me. I'm moving in."
Kylo pulls away trying to form words for a moment, "Really?!"
"Deadly," Hux gestures at her suitcases. "I've got four more in the car."
Kylo turns away but can't hide the sobs. Hux feels a wave of discomfort and has no idea what to do.
"I, uh, will get my things?"
Kylo looks over her shoulder, "Y-yeah, I'll go clean things up for you in the guest room."
Hux's stomach drops but Kylo hadn't rejected her completely.
When she has all six suitcases and two boxes of shoes in the living room, Kylo is crying silently while making pasta. "You can put your stuff in the room to the left. I'm making cheesy pasta for dinner. That works for you?"
Hux almost objected but remembered she doesn't have to maintain her skin anymore, "Sounds good."
She moves her clothes and sees the guest bed is a twin with Wonder Woman sheets. The primary colors are bold. Not at all Hux's aesthetic. But she wasn't going to complain. Instead she threw her pink coat over the coverlet. She went back to the kitchen area where Kylo was still crying.
"Allergies?" Hux asked.
"No. You're here and it's so amazing. Wow," Kylo sighs taking Hux in. Her nose and cheeks were exactly what Hux and all the other e-girls were trying to achieve. "You're here."
"For good. Had to liquidate everything. No more internet for me," Hux threw her hands up.
Kylo blinked, "Are you in danger? I, um, saw what those guys tried to do..."
Hux shook her head, "Nah, I'm gonna go by my real mother's surname and get used to people calling me Armie."
Kylo nods and pours pasta into the boiling water. Hux moves closer, "Like my hair?"
Kylo startles but nods, "Can I touch?"
Hux nods back and removes the cat ears. Kylo smiles shyly as she runs her hand through Hux's short hair. Hux mumbles, "Sorry you weren't able to feel it when it was long."
Kylo blushed, "It makes your cheek bones amazing."
Hux wants to blurt out 'Kiss them! Kiss me!' But Kylo is already awkwardly kissing her. Hux has to tilt her head up slightly and takes advantage of her balance slip to hold onto Kylo's broad hips. Kylo kisses her slowly, gently but commanding. Hux has to follow. There's no wiggle room like with everyone else. She started shifting her hips feeling arousal burn deep. Kylo pulls away with a satisfied sigh before stirring the pasta. Hux bit her lip. She wasn't going to scream. Her stomach was perking up after the long day of packing and driving.
Kylo wordlessly guided them to the couch with two heaping bowls of cheesy pasta. Kylo kissed her forehead before whispering, "Water okay?"
Hux nodded and watched Kylo's backside jiggle slightly with each step.
They kissed each other good night two hours later. Kylo tried to give Hux the wi-fi pw but Hux declined. She had gotten rid of her phone, iPad, and laptop. Kylo had squeezed her hand and told her things would get better.
Hux believed her. Especially when they ended up in Kylo's bed the next night. They hadn't done anything more than cuddling and kissing before falling asleep. The next day, Hux's new accounts were open with the money she was able to move from her past. She could've easily lived the rest of her life on the money. But Kylo's CPA study books caught her eye. She had a MBA with a focus on finances. When Kylo came home that day, Hux announced they were going to be accountants together. Her money could be put towards their business rent. Kylo cried for an hour before she could speak in clear sentences. Hux petted her hair while watching TV.
"That would be pretty fucking awesome, Hux," Kylo whispers.
Hux smiles, "I know."
Kylo sits up and wipes her face before kissing Hux, "Does mean you'll have to interact with people and be on the internet."
Hux shrugs, "Numbers are concise aside from human error."
Kylo's smile grows, "Fucking nerd."
Hux giggles, "Yes, fuck this nerd."

Summer Bed Sheet Shopping – It's Nothing to Sweat Over!
With summer fast approaching, Australians once again ask what bed linen can I buy that looks fabulous but also keeps me cool at night? At Planet Linen, our focus is providing top-quality bed linen sales to suit the season. Here are some simple tips to make this summer a breeze when it comes to bedding.
The Best Sheets to Keep You Cool at Night
When it comes to staying cool at night this summer, you simply cannot beat linen. It offers numerous positive benefits to sleepers, and it’s been doing so since the time of the pharaohs.
What is Linen?
Linen is a natural fibre made from the fibres of the flax plant. The flax plant is an eco-friendly, resilient and sustainable crop. The linen it makes is biodegradable and recyclable. By choosing it, you’ll be doing your bit for the environment this summer, which, before any of its other great properties, makes it a number one choice. Linen is also naturally antimicrobial as it has an inherent ability to inhibit bacterial growth.
Breath with Linen
Linen is a breathable and lightweight material. Because it’s so lightweight, it won’t weigh you down or add extra heat. This is why linen doona covers and quilt covers are always such great options for summer. The lightness of linen sheets also promotes airflow around you. As you toss and turn, the air will continue to circulate around you. So, whether you use a single or super king coverlet, you’ll stay cool this summer.
Keep Cool with Linen
Linen keeps you cool in hot and humid climates because of the weave of the fibre and the lightweight nature of its wick. This is because air easily passes through linen.
Linen is also a natural temperature regulator. Because it is light, it dries easily. This means if you sweat a lot during the summer, the linen will absorb the sweat and dry before you start to notice it’s there. Additionally, as linen is a natural temperature regulator, linen will adjust to your temperature if you find you fluctuate throughout the night. Plus, if you sleep with a partner and one of you tends to overheat, it will adjust to both of your needs. So, you won’t need to fight over the temperature in the room.
Further, as linen is a textual fabric, it softens with each wash. Even as the summer gets drier your bed will stay smooth. Linen’s rustic weave and aesthetic means not only is it machine washable, but it can come straight out off the line and onto the bed without needing an iron.
Bring the Summer Vibes into Your Room
But choosing sheets doesn’t need to only be about function. Part of the fun when any season changes is the fun of a whole new aesthetic. Now changing a whole room is impractical, but, luckily, changing up your bed is all you need to do to bring summer vibes into your room. This is simply because your bed is the focal point of a room.
Getting the summer vibe can be as easy as changing your sheets or covers. A bright-coloured sheet, linen doona cover or linen quilt cover can add vibrancy and energy to your room. Linen is always a good choice for this because it has a beautiful drape and a classic rumpled look that just shouts summer. Adding a super king size quilt to your bed will capture that wonderful draping over the sides of the bed effect to really bring summer into your room.
Alternatively, a more muted colour will make your summer accessories really stand out. Adding accent pieces to the bed is also an amazing way of creating that summer vibe. Accent pillows in sumptuous patterns, colours and prints are a great and easy way to show off your summer style.
Finding the Right Brands
At Planet Linen, we offer a huge range that’ll have you covered no matter what your ideal fantastic bedding is. If you’re after a gorgeous and luxurious summer experience, then you can’t beat Sheridan with their devotion to quality craftsmanship and sustainability. Solana looking quite fetching in her new wig. Relaxing with a good book on a lazy Sunday in her new shabby chic “bedroom”!
The room (diorama? Tableau?) isn’t finished yet; I’m painting the black shelf a chalky off-white right now, and the other table needs a better cover at the very least. I’ve also added a window (with a lovely background showing a glimpse into a verdant forest); I’m thinking of trying to make curtains for it, too. Lastly, I’m working on a 1:3 scale fireplace; we’ll see how that goes.
Solana’s faceup and shirt by me; also all bedding, pillows, sheets, coverlet, etc. I also painted the bed and added the decoration (it was a cheap off-brand American Girl bed, hideously white with stupid-looking flowers on the head-and-footboards. I like it much better in chalky blue).
