Braga Ch F: Elmer Moeller [Q] def. Daniel Elahi Galan [5] 6-4, 7-6(4) Match Stats
đ¸ ATP official website
Recognizing Elmer's backhands becoming the talk of the town, he nailed its execution by painting the lines in most occasions, sometimes balancing his power with some successful drop shots, when used effectively, as well as some powerful forehand winners in between. This way, he tested D.E. Galan's balance from the baseline, becoming more aggressive as he used his return depth to visualize his intent. This worked wonders for the Danish qualifier, converting 50% of his 4 break points while D.E. Galan only had 1 coming from the middle of the first set, but it was insufficient to carry him in the tie-breaker as Elmer struck back from a backhand return ace midway.
On the other hand, Elmer also nailed his service game in this match. Even though D.E. Galan scored four times more aces (8 to 2), the Danish qualifier had the slight edge in his first serves by winning 4% more points (78%), getting himself out of some troubles numerous times. Somehow, even if he double-faulted thrice, he still won 62% of his second serve points compared to D.E. Galan's 41%, where the Colombian fifth seed often had troubles handling it under pressure as this match progressed, where his shot rushes became prevalent.
Marking Elmer's maiden Challenger title after becoming the runner-up in both Augsburg and Liberec Challengers, which propelled his rank to 172 live as he made his Top 200 debut. Through this performance, he earned the Special Exempt to the Valencia Challenger, where the Braga Challenger semifinal rematch occurs as he will face fifth seed Albert Ramos-Vinolas in the first round. A difference must be made to make it even more straightforward in terms of their offensives, including whether or not it would shift in A. Ramos-Vinolas' favor. Should be a neat match!

THE WIFE
1st Part
I opened the door and there they were both, he introduced himself and with a simple, "Here you have my wife as I promised you"; She was a brunette with curly black hair that beautified her pretty face; She was wearing high black suede shoes and a beautiful gray trench coat tied with a belt around her thin waist.
The shot of the end of the belt and the trench coat opened, showing a beautiful woman with white flesh that contrasted with her pretty black lingerie, she was not wearing panties and my eyes went to a small bush of delicate brown hair, she was wearing black stockings over her her knees held together with a matching black garter belt, the bodice had small holes that showed off her beautiful and delicate breasts, crowned by round and erect nipples; He put his left hand on her back and pushed her towards me. I took her left hand with my right hand and I noticed it was excessively hot. As I guided her into my home, I could see how her husband turned around without saying anything. more towards the elevator
I closed the door behind me and as I was behind her back I grabbed her raincoat, she helped me take it off, while I looked at the end of her beautiful back, she had nice round buttocks that quickly made me react, she hung the raincoat from the hanger , took her hand and guided her to the living room, she let herself be guided without saying a single word; In front of the minibar I told him that if I wanted to have something, shaking my head while I looked a little nervous at all the decoration, I put a finger of whiskey without ice and in one gulp he drank it, I stood aside and pointed to the stairs with my hand invited her to go up, I observed the oscillating and provocative movement of her buttocks as she moved with excessive and elegant swaying of her hips, she placed her hands on the first steps, showing me and showing a shiny and beautiful merchandise that she moved slowly as she raised a of his legs when going up a step, I couldn't help it and took my finger along his hole, making a journey from top to bottom, impregnating it with bright and sticky flow. I brought it closer to my face and I could appreciate its aromatic and penetrating smell, I put it inside my mouth and savored it, as if it were an old reserve wine...

LA ESPOSA
1ra Parte

BRYAN FULLER: Iâll give you a personal angle into the story. Iâm the youngest of five and I watched my parents play my sisters off of each other to the point that they havenât spoken to each other in forty years. I saw that happening with Rick playing Brannon and Ron off of each other in a way that caused them both to behave outside of their natural states, because insecurities were played on, exposed, manipulated. What happened between Brannon and Ron boils down to bad parenting on Rickâs behalf.
Rick would taunt Brannon, saying things like âI should have hired Ron to run Voyager instead of you.â So of course Brannon is going to be insecure and vulnerable. Brannon is a very complicated guy, but an amazing storyteller and a good guy ultimately. Both Ron and Brannon are good guys. But when youâre in a situation where you are feeling vulnerable and insecure and youâre having somebody essentially say I wish you were more like that guy, youâre going to resent that guy. And when that guy is told âI wish Brannon was more like you,â then youâre going to feel like you should come in and you should be in a position where youâre exerting a certain sense of control over the story. So I feel like both of them were victims of bad parenting in that scenario.
BRANNON BRAGA: Ron came in with a very strong point of view and I was irrationally resistant, because I felt that I had just earned my keep as a showrunner. I felt a little threatened by my old colleague, which was silly of me. Ron is always one to push the boundaries, and I wish Iâd listened to him.
RONALD D. MOORE: I think at the heart of it is that when we were partners, I was something of the senior partner, because I started a year before him. And in our relationship as people, I took somewhat of a more dominant role. It was a marriage and a partnership. Iâm not saying I was number one and he was number two, but there was a certain dynamic between the two of us that I was used to, saying what I wanted to do and not the other way around. And then I was going to work for him and he was a different person running that show. This is from my perspective, but he seemed less willing to take chances. He seemed more afraid of changing the show, and his arguments were feeling a lot like Rickâs arguments about what Star Trek was and what it wasnât. He still had his Brannon ideas about weird science-fiction things and strange concepts and bizarro time travel. Things that were kind of his signature at the time. But the character work, he was not as receptive to really challenging the characters. A lot of things I eventually put into Battlestar Galactica, I started pitching to him originally.
There was a story in development when I was there about them coming across an alien fleet and they were going to shepherd them for a time. I remembering talking about Battlestar Galactica, the original show, and saying, âHey, it could be something like that except we could do it where thereâs votes by these civilians and they donât want Janeway to always be in charge. And there should be culture there.â I kept saying that I want the internal culture on Voyager to change over time. Why donât they put the leadership of the starship to a vote at some point? Is Janeway literally going to captain this ship until sheâs eighty? Is Chakotay always going to be the number two? If these guys really donât think theyâre getting back to the Alpha Quadrant for seventy or eighty years, shouldnât they start thinking long-term? Shouldnât they sort of let their hair down a little bit? What if they donât want to wear their uniforms on a Friday? What if they want to decorate the halls? What if they start customizing this ship because itâs probably a generational ship? And they were not open to those concepts. Brannon was not open to those concepts. It was like changing the show too much: âThatâs not Star Trek. Thatâs not what the audience wants to see. I donât want to see Janeway get votes.â He was very contemptuous about some of it, and I bristled at that. I just felt like they werenât willing to try to change the show, because in their minds they thought the show was working fine and it didnât need to be challenged. I was the one saying no, this does not work. This can be better. This is not good.
I kept pushing, and out of that dynamic Brannon stopped wanting to have me in meetings and stopped wanting me to be around, and then the whole thing blew up once I found out that they literally were having meetings where I wasnât around and they were developing stories that I wasnât a part of, and the staff had been told not to tell me these things. I walked into Rickâs office and said, âI want out.â He was shocked and Brannon was shocked, and Brannon and I had it out. It was a hard, very emotional and painful scene. Brannon said, âYouâre right. Iâm sorry. I donât know why itâs been like that, but Iâd really like you to stay.â But I was just done. I just wanted out. It broke my heart and I was angry and hurt. At that point I didnât think Iâd see my participation in it. It was his show and I acted like it was my show, which was not the smartest move. I really underestimated what it would be like to go work with him again. In my heart, I was ready to move on. I should have left Trek at the end of Deep Space Nine and taken on other challenges. Instead I went for comfort and ease and it blew up on me.
BRANNON BRAGA: Now I think it was best he left, because he was frustrated with me. On the one hand I wish I had responded differently, because I think the show would have been better for it. But then again, if he had remained, Ron might not have gone on to do Battlestar Galacticaâwhich, in my view, is what he wanted to do with Star Trek. Every show creator has their moment, their show, and I really think Battlestar was Ronâs best work. It was what he was yearning to do with Star Trek, but was constrained by the premise.

A messy collection of my thoughts and theories for episodes one and two of 'a murder at the end of the world' :
⢠starting off with The Doors, already a yes from me
⢠this is my, hmm, sixth rewatch of both episodes? maybe more? Anyway, darby is warm colors, bill is cool. love this detail.
⢠The Silver Doe, silver earrings. I'm convinced Darby's earring means something. I've seen others speculate that it's reference to a hourglass. it's also similar to the logo of Andy's company.
⢠We meet Bill in the motel room and that is when I immediately knew I was a goner for this story. sue me, Harris Dickinson is handsome. I also love his terrible haircut
⢠Harris and Emma's chemistry is INSANE
⢠"Lee. She doesn't need my help." Oh, but maybe she does Darby. I don't trust Lee's husband in any way, shape or form
⢠When Darby stumbles down the (poorly made) stairs and bill asks her if she's alright? listen, i love them a whole lot. even if it's common decency to ask
⢠creepy fucking basement.
⢠bill protecting darby. BILL PROTECTING DARBY!!!
⢠was bill shot? did the person shoot themselves?
⢠I feel like importance of tattoos and meaning might come into play (darby looking at crime scene photos but also bill's and darby's)
⢠also during the scene where darby is being messaged by Andy's assistant, someone on reddit theorized that the letters on darbys open tabs are a code. Maybe?
⢠The health check before boarding the plane is raising red flags for me. Mainly the cheek swab. I dunno
⢠Alice Braga! You gorgeous human
⢠Martin reading Darby's book right in front of her is a little bit strange for a multitude of reasons but I'm definitely reading too much into most of my thoughts about it
⢠Darby's attention to detail is so good and such a wonderful element, considering the storyline
⢠Grimes.
⢠The closeup on Martin's nightmare on the plane. Obviously a deliberate camera choice. But whyyyy
⢠Flashback to Bill in the bath. I assume it's after they were confronted with the gun. Bloody rags and dirty water, Bill seems physically okay. previous point, was he shot?
⢠"I think this is both too much and not enough."
⢠Camera/Darby lingers on fisherman.
⢠Ray makes me nervous
⢠Oxygen tank to Lee's room. Strange. Food to Lee's room that Zoomer accepts, strange. Lee cleaning up the broken glass and making eye contact with Darby. very strange.
⢠The deep fake talk with Oliver about how you can make anyone say anything will definitely come back later. isn't audio recorded in every room or did I misunderstood that in ep 2?
⢠Lee and Andy are not selling me on a happy marriage. Back to maybe Lee does need Darby's help.
⢠Bill appearing at dinner. Was he late or early? the way bill and darby look at one another make me melt
⢠Also, as Bill sits down, Sian says 'definitely not him' meaning Andy didn't invite him, Lee did. And we later learn that Lee and Bill knew eachother. (how tf did darby not know that if she is such a fan of Lee. WHAT DOES IT ALL MEANNN)
⢠The lighting plays a huge roll. The halos above Darby and Bill at dinner
⢠I too would choke after seeing bill again for the first time in six years
⢠Lee's toast, 'to finding a way out.' And then Andy saying, 'together.' ???
⢠Zoomer. Robot child? Bill's kid? strange little dude nonetheless. (Zoomer doesn't/can't eat. Lee and Andy looking at one another while Zoomer and Bill play. darbys smile as she watches them. then the face bill makes after zoomer is called to sit down. and the way he responds to question of how old he is???)
⢠The pool scene. These people are so cliquey. yuck
⢠Darby punching bill and then immediately asking him for a drink. I get it. Also the way he looked at her after she punched him. Lovesick.
⢠Bill telling her how he loved her book, oh my God. "Really tough and fragile at the same time" fucking incredible line.
⢠Bill and Darby flirting
⢠"I need to tell you something." Insert Jennifer Lawrence clip, WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!
⢠Darby runs into Marius, the hotel manager when she goes to Bill's room. Suspect but maybe too obvious?
⢠Bill asking her to stay as he dies. Holding hands through the glass. Him smiling at her. It's all too much for me.
⢠So much blood for someone overdosing? Head wound.
Episode 2:
⢠Darby's book in Bill's room covered in blood. Is that Bill's copy or Martin's from the plane?
⢠Everyone is very insistent on getting Darby out of Bill's room.
⢠The tea going to Bill's room. More broken glass
⢠Lee comforting Darby is very nice
⢠Rohan (fisherman) is the only one visibly upset and reacting like a human being told about a death
⢠Andy and Sian are acting like Darby is overreacting about his cause of death
⢠Andy saying that bill wouldn't want them to go home and quit. Dude, you didn't know him. Kick rocks.
â˘Â Again, Andy and Lee are giving me bad vibes. Lee fawns around him, he speaks over her/for her
⢠Lu Mei seems uncomfortable when she says she'll stay, seemingly intimated by Andy or fearful of his reaction if she did say she wanted to leave. Therefore I don't think anyone is comfortable going against him. Power imbalance. Darby seems to pick up on this
⢠Darby going to see Bill. Her frantically asking Ray questions with obvious answers but she craves the validation that she isn't wrong about what she suspects....I'm so sad
⢠Bill's tattoos are so interesting and I crave meaning
⢠"Someone killed you."
⢠My knowledge of injectable drugs all comes from 90s rock musicians, so take that as you will. The needle in Bill's room is the strangest thing I've ever seen. It looks like a diabetic tester needle. And no fingerprints.
⢠Lee also going to Bill's room. The plot thickens (I need to re-create her outfit in this episode it's so good)
⢠Is Lee telling the truth about what she was actually looking for? Also her giving Darby advice. I very much like them teaming up together
⢠"Don't get caught."
⢠Is it possible that Andy/the hotel is fielding the internet? like when darby can't look up a hack for the doorbell cam. is this an ignorant question? Perhaps.
⢠Darby and Bill flashback! when bill offers to come pick darby up and she immediately freaks out and runs away from the conversation...I have never felt more seen or understood. me too, girl, me too.
⢠Do Lee and Bill having matching line tattoos on their forearms???
⢠Happy birthday Darby đĽşđĽşđĽş
⢠04/14/2017 Zoomer's birthday.
⢠Darby has doorbell cam footage. employees have towels. noted. David on a phonecall. Bill 𼲠(not wearing his ring) Ziba hears something, looks frightened and leaves. Bill's door opens from in the inside, hallway wall is illuminated.
⢠Bill's smile when he meets Darby in person for the first time. I LOVE THEM!
⢠Creepy mask person, go away!
⢠the diner darby and bill meet at is called Ray's
⢠I believe in love at first sight because of them.
⢠Frank Ocean. That's all.

My uncle took me to the Burlesque house in the village, run by Frau Helga, a beautiful German girl maybe 50 years old.
"Miss Helga, I want you to make a little man out of my nephew, call me when you're done" was all my uncle said. And there I was, alone with that beautiful woman, knowing that I was going to have sex.
FH:"Come with me honey" he told me and took me by the hand. "Frau Helga knows what boys like"
I: "My uncle brought me because I'm a fag, Miss Helga", I said embarrassed.
FH:"Don't worry honey, you're going to enjoy today" and she began to undress until she was left in panties, a bra, and a garter belt. I took off all my boy clothes and there I waited. Frau Helga took on a corset, open crotch panties and black stockings.
FH: "Come here love, this will fit you perfectly" My erection was such that I couldn't hide my cock in my panties and then she made me lie down on the bed, I He spread his legs wide and told me "Close your eyes" His tongue began to play with my sensitive balls, my erect penis was held by his hand. His tongue went down my ass and a whore moan escaped me. "Ahh I see... Let's try this..." out of nowhere a beautiful purple vibrator appeared on the scene and its glans began to dilate my tail. I released another moan and she let me in, it was devilishly lubricated and it kept invading me. She settled between my legs and I rested the base of the vibrator on her pubis so that she felt like she was in charge. "Enjoy it baby, so feel it... And look into my eyes" she affirmed her vibrator on me and took my penis firmly, I fixed my eyes on hers and let me go in powerful spurts of semen while I moaned with pleasure with my ass full of woman's penis.
-------

From this post about Fifty Year Mission:
BRYAN FULLER: Despite Rickâs determination to have a stronger hold on Voyager than he could on Deep Space Nine, Iâd not deny how much Brannon actually did achieve with the series. He very much was eager to get into more high-concept science-fiction storytelling, like harder science-fiction storytelling. The great stuff with Species 8472, the Borg arc, the âYear of Hell,â the Hirogen and âThe Killing Game.â There was a lot of iconography brought back into the world of the storytelling, and less sort of diplomacy and navigating new species and more âHoly shit, weâve got to fight these guys!â And that was really Brannon coming into his own. Actually Brannon and Joe Menosky were really the creative voices of those last few seasons.
Honestly? Yes. Anytime they have writing credits together on Voyager, it was fire. Joe Menosky usually can curb Braga's 'Braganess'. It's why Year of Hell was as fantastic as it was.
Look at the list of the episodes they worked on together:
"Future's End" (with Brannon Braga) "Future's End, Part II" (with Brannon Braga)
This is the start where they are getting into a groove.
"Scorpion" (with Brannon Braga) "Scorpion, Part II" (with Brannon Braga) (Season 4) - And this is when Braga and Menosky hit their stride.
"The Gift" - Bookended the trilogy with this beautiful episode where Seven becomes part of the Voyager crew and sadly, Kes has to leave.
"Year of Hell" (with Brannon Braga) "Year of Hell, Part II" - Solid Gold two-parter of all time.
"The Killing Game" (with Brannon Braga) "The Killing Game, Part II" (with Brannon Braga)
"Hope and Fear" (teleplay with Brannon Braga, story with Rick Berman and Brannon Braga) - I really enjoyed this finale, bringing it all together.
"Night" (with Brannon Braga) (Season 5) - My favorite standalone season opener. I love the quiet low-stakes atmosphere and character study of the crew and Janeway.
"Drone" (teleplay with Bryan Fuller and Brannon Braga) - Really Great Seven episode.
"Timeless" (teleplay with Brannon Braga, story with Rick Berman and Brannon Braga) - Again, beautiful. Let's ignore the Berman in this.
"Latent Image" (teleplay, story with Eileen Connors and Brannon Braga) - The moral struggle about the EMH Doctor's personhood and Seven's brilliant ripostes against Janeway's cold logic, that has Janeway questioning her decision to just reprogram the Doctor.
"Dark Frontier" (with Brannon Braga) - And, of course, this great two-parter.
"11:59" (teleplay, story with Brannon Braga) - I know its not everyone's cup of tea but I love how comfortable and cozy this Hallmark episode was. So low stakes but so many fun crew interactions.
"Dragon's Teeth" (teleplay with Brannon Braga and Michael Taylor) - This was such a great set-up for a recurring villain in the Vadwuaar that never went anywhere and I sense the heavy hand of Berman.
"Blink of an Eye" (teleplay with Scott Miller) - Not a collaboration with Braga but this was such a beautiful episode.
Honestly, I think the weakest of the two-parter work Menosky's done with Braga is probably the Unimatrix Zero story.
And I think this is the last thing Menosky wrote for the show.
It's no wonder Ron Moore snatched Menosky up for "For All Mankind". It's the closest thing we had to a prequel to Starfleet and the Federation.

Despite several moments, the first half of the second set turned out to be a partial servefest before Elmer came up with a forehand pass to set up his one-point lead, eventually having a break point that was foiled somewhere, resulting in D.E. Galan holding his serves to 5-4. Within the next few games, Elmer's defense-to-offense struck again, scoring a successful drop shot to force the deuce, but the Colombian fifth seed still held to 6-5.
After Elmer held his serves to 6-6, the tie-breaker became inevitable. D.E. Galan kicked this off with an ace, followed by 2 forehand winners to set up a 3-0 lead. Nonetheless, the Danish qualifier continued by scoring a backhand return winner, followed by forcing D.E. Galan to err his forehand (3-2) to hold. Several points later, D.E. Galan's +1 forehand error only widened the gap for Elmer's mini-break to 5-3, with the latter scoring a shot winner for his match point (6-3). Despite one of them being saved, Elmer's unreturned serve secured him the second set 7-6(4), thus winning his maiden Challenger-level title in his third attempt.

The point is this: Prior to our âmodernityâ that culminated with the idea of the Enlightenment, there was an incredible variety of social possibilities that most modern people didnât imagine were possible. Rousseauâs idealism about the âstate of natureâ in a pre-civilization world or Hobbesâ conviction that life before the state existed was ânasty, brutish and shortâ look more like a hypothesis than the scientific canon they often incarnate. If ancient societies did not obey any specific organizational trajectory or evolutionary model, why should it be different in todayâs world? What prevents us from imagining different pathways and new forms? What is it that constrains our ability to imagine better ways of dealing with our problems and why canât we organize ourselves differently? Are we not capable of creating entirely new narratives? The answer is: Yes, we are! The definition of imagination as âthe ability to confront and deal with a problemâ involves creativity and an openness to new ways of thinking, plus of course large amounts of disciplined analysis and the prospect of a business or policy application. Otherwise, to paraphrase the Brazilian economist Carlos Bragaâs favorite expression, âvision or imagination without implementation is just hallucination.â

alice braga / she/her âââ no way is that SOFIA SILVA.. theyâre a 39-year-old HUMAN notoriously known for being DEFENSIVE & COMBATIVE but there are some people who have seen them being CARING & SENTIMENTAL. if you ask me, they remind me a lot of eating meals in the kitchen standing up, worried eyes staring out the window, if youâre here- youâre family, a trophy case of belt buckles from barrel racing, and emptying wine bottles on the porch when everyone is sleeping, but that could just be because theyâre considered the CARETAKER around town. just keep an eye on them & see if their true colors shine through..
GENERAL.
full name: sofia rose silva nicknames: sof, mom classification: enhanced human gender / pronouns: cis woman, she/her age / birthday: 39, april 15th orientations: bisexual, biromantic occupation: owner of silver spur ranch location: outer city status: it's complicated, open WC family: bernardo silva (father, deceased), rosalina silva (mother, deceased), several siblings (WC), luiz (son), ian dutton (cousin), ike dutton (cousin), fern oliveira (cousin) strengths: caring, sentimental, hard working, determined, humble weaknesses: defensive, combative, evasive, stubborn, nagging character inspo: tbd
BIOGRAPHY.
tw: addiction, death, assault, kidnapping, ptsd, abuse
for eight generations, the silver spur ranch had operated in rural texas. it was expected that one day one of bernardo's children would take over and continue the legacy. sofia never expected it would be her.
she has been a dreamer since birth. wanted to fight for social justice, be a rodeo star, become a journalist, and then later in life she just wanted to be successful. one thing her family taught her, however, is if you want something you have to work hard to get it and that is what she has always done.
the rodeo was her first calling, an obvious path after growing up around horses and training them. she started barrel racing as a teen and after high school she went on the rodeo circuit, traveling the united states year round
she was good at it too, held a record for a few years and collected countless trophies. all those rodeo queen dreams died in her early twenties, though. a random accident involving her leg pinned between two gates while heavy horses slammed into it over and over left her with several compound fractures in her right leg and hip.
her hip had to be replaced and she spent half a year recovering between each of the surgeries, then learning to walk again. that did not stop sofia, however it did lead her to an unhealthy relationship to pain medication which eventually led her down a rocky path of addiction.
throughout most of her twenties she struggled, picking up odd jobs and dating the wrong people while her addiction began to take a turn for the worst. she ended up in a treatment program out of state.
she moved into a halfway house after getting cleaned up, got a job at a shipping agency and ended up in a relationship with her boss. an unfortunate reoccurrence for her and as it usually did, the relationship turned sour. he became hostile, controlling and ultimately abusive.
wasnât long before she relapsed and desperately started searching for a way out. everything seemed hopeless until she crossed paths with an unlikely hero. he was a face and name familiar from the business the ranch did with the family on occasion but she never really paid attention to any of them before.
it was easy to fall for him and he was powerful man that her father urged her go to for help. not one to go against her father's words she did just that and he freed her from that dark situation.
suddenly she was thrust into the glamor of the high life as she unknowingly started a relationship with a crime boss. she didn't ask questions, with him she felt safe again, protected. no more pills, no more struggling, and she did not want for anything.
sofia was star struck and entranced. so much so, that it became all too easy for her to overlook the more dangerous and questionable side of him and his associates. her life was good and for awhile there was nothing that would sway her devotion to the man or his intoxicating presence.
it wasn't more than a year or two into their relationship when she had her son. and he was the light of both of their lives. they got married in a small ceremony and she was ready to spend the rest of her life with him. but things got colder, he was gone more and more.
the breaking point was when she'd been out to lunch with some friends and on the way home, right in broad daylight pulled into a dark van before she could even think about screaming. she was not held for long, it only took a few days for him to find her. but, those days were hell, besides being assaulted and restrained, she spent the entire time terrified.
what made it worse was he acted like it was nothing. just a hazard of his job and she should just let it go. sofia no longer felt the safety she cherished for years with him. the veil dropped and she saw a completely different man. the blind devotion was gone, replaced with an overwhelming fear.
as soon as she could, she packed what she could - took her son and enough money to survive a week and disappeared. she had no clue if he would come looking, all she knew is her life was in danger and she needed to be free.
sofia made her way back home, only to find her father had fallen sick and the ranch had fallen into some debt in result. without a second though, she took care of him until he passed and took the responsibility of taking over the ranch.
it took a couple years to get it back in a somewhat recognizable place, she ended up having to take another loan to consolidate the debt but she is doing the best she can.
she lived in a state of some paranoia, she knows her estranged husband knows where they are. she discovered that when he sent flowers for her father's funeral. a part of her still loves him but that doesn't outweigh the fear she has for him. she doesn't know what he'll do to get his son back or to her for leaving.
she's doing her best to stay busy and keep from getting wrapped up in all of that mess so she can give her son a good life, take care of her family, and make the silver spur ranch the top horse ranch in the country again.
HEADCANONS.
sofia takes care of the workers at the ranch just like they're part of the family. same with her siblings' friends, etc. everyone is invited to dinner and if they need anything she encourages them to come to her.
cooking is her love language but also a stress response, another thing to keep her busyâ same with cleaning. hence why she never sits down and it's often a task for people to get her to stop, sit down, and relax.
more to come...

SYFY Portal - Keating to try directing? by Michael Hinman (2002)
"It's been a long road" might be the opening line to the "Enterprise" theme, but it also could be applied to actor Dominic Keating. From his television bow as Tony in the British comedy series "Desmond's" in the late 1980s, to an unsuccessful attempt at a guest role for "Star Trek: Voyager," and finally as Lt. Malcolm Reed on the latest Star Trek series airing on UPN, Keating has traveled the road that many actors have tried to traverse.
And now that he is attached to one of the most successful franchises in television history, Keating said that now's the time to really achieve some of his dreams, including some that went unrealized until his arrival on the "Enterprise" set.
"'Desmonds' was a half-hour show on Channel Four, and we enjoyed big success," of a TV star in some capacity, but when I came to America [in 1994], I spent a bit of time out in the cold. About two and a half years ago, a bit of momentum started to show through, doing some guest stars and getting regular work, and I could consider myself a working actor again."
Keating said his first run-in with Star Trek wasn't the kind most actors hope for. Two years ago, he was auditioning for a guest role on "Voyager," an audition that may not have given him a chance to work with Kate Mulgrew in company, but one that had future implications.
"The audition went real well, and I thought I was going to get the part," Keating said. "When I didn't get a call back, I was thinking that I'll never audition for them again. I don't like to put words in [co-creator] Rick Berman's mouth, but after he had seen me audition, I think they sort of earmarked me in some capacity. They brought me in for the first audition [for 'Enterprise'], and they went pretty swimmingly. I was the first one cast."
Through the first 10 episodes, Lt. Reed was more of a background character as Enterprise's weapons officer. But Keating said he has no qualms about the focus on Scott Bakula (Capt. Jonathan Archer), Jolene Blalock (Sub-Cmdr. T'Pol) and Connor Trinneer (Cmdr. Trip Tucker), especially since some of the first season's finer moments are expected to come by way of Reed.
"It's really started in the last few episodes, Malcolm Reed has had the light shone on him," Keating said. "Brannon [Braga] did warn me about it that their initial thrust at the start of the series would be on the captain, Trip and the Vulcan. I just turned up every day and did the best I could with what they gave me to do, and trusted with what they told me was true."
And Braga has stayed true to his word, because Keating said he has heard quite a bit of talk about one episode that will air on UPN Feb. 13.
"There's an episode coming up called 'Shuttlepod One,' and it's one of my most exciting and most memorable acting experiences, whether on stage or on the camera," he said. "What a fantastic piece of work we turned.
"It's between me and Trip, the engineer. We think we're marooned alone in space on Shuttlepod One. You could put this on in an off-Broadway venue and have it staged as a one-act. Rick is very pleased, and he just said some very complimentary things about it yesterday. I know that for the directors that work on the show, if you don't get a phone call from Rick, you've done real well."
Not getting that phone call from Berman is something Keating hopes happen if he ever makes his directorial debut on the show. Like Jonathan Frakes, LeVar Burton, Rene Auberjonois and Robert Duncan McNeill -- among others -- Keating said he is hoping to one day have a shot sitting in the big chair for an episode.
"I've already embarked on a directing course at an L.A. film school that Roxann Dawson (Lt. B'Elanna Torres, 'Voyager') had given me the number for," he said. "After I took the course in directing, I've noticed that my interest piqued more than ever in how each shot is being mapped out. I never had taken that much of an interest before as an actor, which usually was to just put me on the mark, tell me which way to turn, and I'll act it.
"But I've noticed that in the episodes that rolled by, my interest is a lot keener, and I can see myself definitely directing one of these episodes, and direct other stuff in the future. Of course, I haven't approached Rick or Brannon about this yet. They hired me as an actor, and I'm putting my two peas [ed: "2 p" (pence)] in at the moment."
The Paramount lot is bustling with Star Trek activity right now with not only a hit UPN series, but the tenth motion picture of the franchise as well. Having the cast of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" hanging around has been exciting for Keating, he said, especially in getting his chance to finally meet Patrick Stewart. And with a lot of talk focusing on "Star Trek: Nemesis," Keating said he hopes that his crew of the starship Enterprise might get their shot on the big screen some day.
"I would love to do [a movie]," he said. "I think they are filming 'Nemesis' around the corner from us. And by all accounts, this is the fourth movie for them, and this really might be it. I don't know, maybe Paramount might feel they have another one in them, so it's just a question on when they get us to do it. Will they wait for 'Voyager' to have a shot, or are they going to pass them by?
"If they did do a movie, would we all want to do that? Scott [Bakula] has a young family, and he's keen about spending as much time as possible with them. But it's probably a few years off yet, and maybe after seven years, if we did a movie once every 18 months or two years, that would be fantastic."
But in the here and now, "Enterprise" is just 10 episodes in with UPN beginning new episodes next Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET. Of course, that hasn't stopped some fans from recognizing Keating on the street.
"I was recognized in the post office this morning, and that's the first time a completely random guy has come up to me like that since the show started," he said. "I was posting some fan mail to some guys in Europe, and he came up and was so thrilled to see this guy from 'Enterprise.' I shook the guy's hand and introduced myself, and he introduced himself, I think his name was Jack.
"It was a good experience, but the funny thing was, I was standing in line wearing my scruffy old sweatpants and wasn't looking my best. I thought to myself that there was a pretty girl in front of me, and there will come a time when I wished I would've dolled myself up."
Keating pauses a moment, and laughs a little.
"My girlfriend is going to shout when she reads that. But we all carry a little vanity with us, and the time will eventually come when I can't leave the house a complete mess. But you know, who cares, maybe I can. It's certainly only a TV show, and it's not like we're saving the world . . ."
Jumping into character for just a moment: "Oh wait, captain. We are!"

I entered Robar and upon hearing the noise of keys opening a door, I verified that I had no way out, the window through which I entered was too far away; I went into the closet and from there I could see how she arrived, took off her high heels, threw her bag on the bed, and took off her pants and panties, leaving her shirt on. Her body was spectacular and mine reacted to such beauty. I came out with the knife in my hand and when I stood behind her she was able to see me in the mirror. She screamed while I whispered in her ear, don't move...
