#brad in the corner: im thankful for meeting bobby

Wasn't thanksgiving recently? (I'm British so I'm not sure). But wouldn't it have been real neat if the mid-season finale was a thanksgiving episode? Especially when it feels like this year the 118 have so much to be thankful for.

Idk. I guess because they did halloween they didn't want to do another holiday, but they've never done thanksgiving before and it feels like the perfect holiday to be in a show about first responders.

I can just imagine them at a big feast and going round saying what they're grateful for (again I'm British so going off of stereotypes from tv, sorry if it's not something that happens).

Bobby and Athena are both thankful they're alive as well as their family and that they're able to rebuild what they've lost.

Hen and Karen are thankful for the family they've fought for and for the help that everyone gave, especially Maddie and Chimney, in getting them all back together.

Buck's thankful for Tommy and their relationship, even if it hurts to think about right now. He's also thankful that the 118 is all back together again. (Also important to note that he went all out and made an excessive amount of food, more than Bobby asked him to make, as part of his healthy coping mechanism, everyone is taking home a mountain of food and there will still be enough to donate later on)

Maddie and Chimney are thankful for their family that they have, the experience they had with Mara, and for their newest addition. They're also thankful their relationship is stronger than ever so they feel a lot more secure going into this pregnancy.

Eddie doesn't feel like he has much to be thankful for, but he's thankful his son is safe, despite being away from home, and he's thankful that the 118 have been there to support him, even at his lowest.

Long and short of it is, they're all grateful for their family, and they're especially grateful for the feast Bobby and Buck made them.

Bonus points if some people they rescued popped in to say thanks.
