Final Round!

Given the troubling removal of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 soundtrack from the NintendoMelody YouTube channel, I am going to temporarily pause the queue while I look into new sources for the tracks that can be re-sourced (which sadly, not all can, NintendoMelody was a bit more exhaustive than a lot of other channels hosting the soundtracks have been).

I hope to have this cleared up in time to reopen the queue before tomorrow so that this doesn't actually delay the bracket, but I cannot make any promises.

The brackets were randomised to avoid any accidental bias from me, but this means some of the pairings are a very popular character versus a niche one. Because of this, I've decided that there will be a redemption round for all the characters knocked out first once the finals are over! (details not yet decided)

Also, to all the people upset at Klavier vs Yuri, here's a deal: if they end at 50/50 they will progress together as a single entity a la team rocket. I expect crackship art/fics in return /j

I have done it!!

Here are the brackets that are semi-seeded, but then again I know nothing almost about seeding brackets. Get your propaganda into my submissions/askbox! I am scheduling the first round to go out tomorrow morning. The poll will last 24 hours, so if you’re worried about missing it maybe turn on post notifications (not to sound like a youtuber but it’s helped me follow along with other poll blogs lol). My honorable mentions will be out after I finish scheduling the polls.

Round 1 of the Xenoblade Chronicles Soundtrack Bracket

First round is a big one, consisting of 128 matches. In the interest of not spending four months on this single round, I will be increasing the queue rate to push out four posts a day for the start of the bracket, so we should finish the final poll about one week into October.
