The Mirror BPR returns tomorrow!

For those of you who are new here, I'm on gen 4 of my Berry Pastel Rainbowcy story, and you can find the main hub page with links to previous gens, lore page, cast page, and warnings here! The first 3 gens are located on my old blog, but gen 4 exists here :) Gen 4 has only JUST started, so you haven't missed much! If you want kind of the condensed version, tbh you can pretty much skip gen 1 and the start of gen 2, and start here instead. (You'll miss a little bit of context of who characters are/relationships, but this is the point when I actually figured out what I was doing lol (that said, gen 1, despite being a disaster, DOES have some gems, such as the Marble and Star family dinner scene. I dislike a lot of gen 1, but I'll always stand by that scene)).

The spouse of each generation will have an assigned colour. I will be following the colours from the BPR rules.

A minimum of 10 babies per generation.

At the beginning of each generation there will be a vote on the heir colours.

This will also be a matriarchy, only females are eligible to be heirs.

BPR 2 Postmortem

Yes I do have to write an essay after finishing every generation thanks for asking.

I think I can reveal now my ~structure~ for this BPR: it's split into trilogies that follow a different side character (Myrtle, in this case) as they interact with 3 generations of Roses

So one more gen of Myrtle & the gen 3 heir, then one more "half" generation set between BPR 3 & 4 that will wrap up Myrtle's story!

This was the actual inspiration for the entire Rose BPR- the whole "secret heir trying to reclaim their inheritance" was RIGHT THERE in terms of the BPR rules

I had to make Foxglove The Worst Possible Guy because on paper I agree with him lmao. Bastard son whose mother was brutally murdered returning to take back his ancestral home? Hell yeah eat the rich

The 4 dogs just get adopted into the Rose household because Juniper grew up on a ranch. The Fennels stay at the Hall until they eventually retire, and Anise stays in the city to pursue her studies!

Hyssop also continues studying astronomy, and hm I wonder who it was she was with at the end there I am sure there are no famous astronomy-related characters in the Holmes canon it's probably fine

Gen 2's naming theme was, vaguely, herbs and plants. Gen 1 was flowers and 3 is trees!

Next gen I finally stop torturing Sam and give Myrtle a love interest!

Speaking of, gen 3 follows Caraway Rose, and introduces a villain that for once is more interested in the detectives than the Roses...

Clare BPR Gen 3 Sims (pt. 1)

Don’t ask why so many Italian names. It was 2020 and I was upset my Italian vacation was cancelled...among other things 😂

Notes:

Siena, Venezia and Romeo are triplets!

Venezia is a werewolf and was my heir for gen 3

Tarquin is their younger sibling, he’s trans and uses he/him pronouns

Firenze was Venezia’s wife, she’s also trans and uses she/her pronouns, oh and she’s Hestia’s daughter!

TOU: Don’t change their genetics. Feel free to give them a makeover - new hair, new clothes, makeup etc. Don’t claim as your own, don’t reupload or use as a base for your own sims. And please, @ me when you post them, I’d love to see what they’re up to!

“Let me brush your hair, you look a mess.” Perennial turned to pick up the hair brush from Amy’s dressing table.

“What hair; I’m practically bald.”

“Don’t be so dramatic! Honestly, Darling, I don’t know where you get such an attitude from.”

Amy sighed thinking back to that night as her mother tugged the brush through her short hair. She remembered plenty, but she wasn’t going to tell anyone that, especially not her mother. She knew she actually went for a walk with Lorey, not on her own, and how he ran away when the birds came. She remembered the sounds of his shoes crunching against the ground before the birds’ cries drowned out the sound. Amy squeezed her eyes shut at the memory.

“That’s enough, thank you, Mother. I want to be alone to finish my paintings.”

“Make sure to get some more rest, Darling.” Peri put the brush back down on Amy’s dressing table. “I know you don’t like it, but the short hair suits you.”

“I’ll get used to it.”

at this point the pink twins are adults and moved out, and the other 3 of the quads are at boarding school, so it’s just Acai and her parents at home. I decided to skill grind until Acai is an adult so I didn’t take many pics
