i was hit by a car while driving on thursday night and my arms chest and neck are a little fucked. my car is busted to shit and it doesnt drive. its probably gonna be totaled. this is all just barely out of it being stolen for two months.

ramza and zelos came over today and helped me grocery shop. ramza seriously obliterated the WHOLE sink of dishes. zelos helped me take out cat litter since i cant lift stuff well and helped get the recycling out, AND he bought me snacks and painkillers.

abbey has also been offering a lot of help with treating my pain, she dropped everything the evening i got in that wreck and took me to the ER and shes just been amazing. lilith is going to lend a hand with laundry tomorrow—and his boyfriend offered to help with getting me around town if i needed a ride anywhere.

Notes (to be read after the chapter) under a cut:

Your average company has a board who votes in officers/etc, so the officers are Regal, Sara, Alvin, and Ernest (President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer). Klein and Noelin are partial owners of Lezareno Co., so they would want to generally attend board meetings to influence large decisions the company makes.

Most interpretations of Regal's character make him a 100% owner of the company alone, but conventionally it just doesn't work for a story like this, where Regal has no living relatives and I'm not suggesting anything too shady was going on with his family-owned company.

Hence, a few other people do have partial ownership of the company to kind of...keep things balanced (and to prevent Regal from literally just doing anything he wants whenever he wants).

Also, Klein is here mostly to put the fear of God(dess Martel) into Regal, not like...in a mean way but tragedies do occur.

And he comes with...kind of a surprise. Don't worry, more on that later.

Writing Raine in a bad mood is honestly kinda fun, I can't lie. She's so tired and now that she's getting into the last months of her pregnancy, she's uncomfortable all the time, which contributes more to her being tired; it's not a fun cycle to be stuck in. Not that Genis's awkward announcement about quitting school isn't contributing...but things were already a bit tense for her.

Regal and Genis's little heart to heart was...not as easy to write as it might seem. I love them both but Genis has spent the last months worried about his sister and concerned about what kind of living situation she's put herself in...so he's trying to navigate that worry. He's looking for reassurance that it's Fine, Actually, and while Regal does try to provide that, he's a bit clumsy at it, himself.

I tend to play around with the idea that Raine's only real relationship occurred right before she moved to Iselia, as it's the only timeframe that makes sense for it considering her age at the time...and it's VERY doubtful she'd risk being discovered by starting something in Iselia with anyone.

(Unrelated: I don't necessarily think the Crown of Earth is from this relationship (and sometimes I like to have both of those situations happening simultaneously with different figures).)

If nothing else, I suppose this relationship was definitive proof that her lie about being an elf worked very well. I think Raine's defense of half-elves in this situation that angered her ex-boyfriend is something similar to what we get of her defending half-elves to Lloyd in the OVA. Nothing extreme, but an unwelcome sympathy nonetheless.

Don't worry, though, this guy will come up again.

Also, I definitely think the world regeneration journey/reunification attempt would have failed or been far more difficult (and not with so few casualties) if Raine and Genis had not joined the party.

The phrase "eating for two" is very wrong and inaccurate. Don't follow that advice; it's literally just a phrase.

Raine's warning look toward Genis is something like this: it's POSSIBLE that Regal having a stronger mana signature than most humans AND the fact that he can heal even though he's never ingested aionis, could mean something (like a % of elven blood in his ancestry) but Raine ain't about having that conversation right now. Plus, it doesn't even really matter.

I had a blast writing Genis, Regal, and Raine all interacting by the way. Raine's annoyance at the stupid "guess list" and the name list, and Regal's delight in sharing them with Genis...were top tier fun things to write.

Also, Raine gets her little moment to share the baby reacting to music with Genis. 🥺

They're friends, used to be best friends, but Theo doesn't feel a thing when he looks at them anymore. "What're you doing with that guy?" The other questions him. Theo instantly feels hot all over. He knows he used to be a bit of a hot mess but he's different now. Sort of. He's a loyal slut now. "What do you mean? He's my boyfriend." He's so annoyed. Turns his head away from the other before he spots Zelos standing there in the doorway. "You're different now." They accuse. Theo can't look away from Zelos. Yeah, he is different. "I know." Theo agrees. He doesn't know what he needs right now; to keep arguing, to start crying or like shotgun another beer. @accidentallymagic

Their first single album ‘워리어(Warrior)’ was released on the 26th last month sold out 10,000 copies two days after release. Hitting the World Billboard chart at number 10, having a crowd of 3,000 for their debut showcase stage and broadcasted for 1 hour on a cable show. Fan-cafe has exceeded 20,000 members just 3 weeks after debuting.

Deserved to be called ‘Super Rookies’. Group name stands for 베스트(Best)-앱솔루트(Absolute)-퍼펙트(Perfect).

“I’m going to show an impersonation. I will follow what appeared in Gag Concert by Choi HyoJong-ssi. Ae-mae-hab-ni-da-ing~!” (Youngjae)

“I like to dance and, my hobby is listening to music. My favorite type of dancing is street dancing. Among them, I like b-boy. Have been dancing since first year of middle school.” (Jongup)

Bang Yongguk was part of a famous hiphop musician in Hongdae. Was the first B.A.P member introduced through Untouchable sunbae a year and a half ago. Then was joined by traditional music and model Himchan, Daehyun from Busan, dancer Jongup, Emotional vocalist Youngjae and maknae ZELO. B.A.P practiced together for about a year. They’ve been practicing 16 hours in a day prior to their debut.

This album’s title track ‘Warrior’ has an intense beat and talking about social criticism in their lyric. Bang Yongguk’s bass rap that blends in with ZELO’s high-speed rap, Jongup’s splendid dance, vocalist Daehyun and Youngjae and Himchan’s unexpected level of vocal ability.

Reminding us of 1990′s popular group H.O.T.’s ‘Warrior’s Descendant’. Kangta, Moon Heejun, Jang Woohyeok, Tony Ahn, Lee Jaewon who were representating the Korean wave.

“It’s an honor to be compared with H.O.T. Idols nowadays have a sweet-boyfriend images. We want to be different from other group and not include ourselves in the same plot.” (Yongguk)

When asked if they can go beyond H.O.T., Himchan said “It would be more than enough to go beyond them”. Bang Yongguk added “So we want to work harder”.

In the chorus part ‘Warrior’ there is a part where they stomp. Once during a music program pre-recording, the stage floor could not handle the dance and collapsed.

“The sound of the foot was like the New Zealand Maori warrior. It was really powerful and I would like the stage to collapse once more in the future. I didn’t mean to do it but the dance is meant to have a powerful strength in it.” (Yongguk)

The secret to the powerful dance is “bapsim (A traditional Korean meal which consists of rice and side dishes),” said Youngjae.

“We practiced for the showcase at 4:00AM the day before it. The boss gave us meat and rice to eat then went to sleep till the morning. It’s not that we don’t want to eat the meat but, since it came from the boss it’s precious.” (Youngjae), “A person eats in about 2-3 minutes.” (Yongguk)

Called the ‘Big Rookies’ as soon as you debuted. Do you feel pressured?

“At first, it was the burden to think of how the 3,000 seats to be filled for the showcase.” (Daehyun)

“I was surprised. I was touched to see that there was that much people who wanted to see us. We felt good after knowing that all our efforts would be put into a good use. We will show you a better image from us. The press have also showed interest in our efforts” (Yongguk)

Right now we have successfully got through our debut stage safely but, a singer has gone through a tough road and obstacles.

“At first, I went to a local broadcasting talent show (Jeollanam-do, Mokpo). I formed a team with my friends and we wanted to do both rapping and dancing. We joined in as the Game Item. It was in my 4th year of elementary school. The stage literally exploded. My parents was against it at first but they saw the passion in me later on.” (ZELO)

“I wanted to join Music Academy but they needed a 30 point average grade or more. I had a bet with my mom about the test scores. In my 3rd year of Middle School, I scored 43 points for my mid-term and 80 points for my finals.” (Youngjae)

that would make his heart race and make him realize how much he LIKED you even more than just as a friend

I think after both of you realizing your feelings it would get a little awkward cause you both don’t want to overthink it

but i also think he’d be afraid of ruining the friendship too if he felt like maybe it was one-sided

but since he has loads of older friends and his members to look up to, he would definitely go to them for advice and encouragement

and while you guys would still do your regular hangouts, i think he’d want to do something a little extra/different if he was going to confess to you

like i mean it in a super simple way instead of walking mochi during the day at the park he’d ask you to go at night or something

idk im imagining a place with walkways and fairy lights that has interesting stuff to look at but is also calm enough for the lil pup mochi so maybe there’s a path by a river to walk on that would be cute too

a small thing like this makes it so its still your usual walk with him but now it has a romantic feeling? so when he does this you can kind of tell that he’s going to confess

unless you’re like me in that case you would have no clue no matter what aha

and he’d confess casually while you guys were sitting on a bench looking at the river

i don’t think he’d be able to look at your face though i think he’d have to say it while looking at Mochi hahaha

I think the tough part at first would be trying to be romantic when you guys had been friends

you’d both get really flustered

When he woke up that morning, Lloyd immediately knew that something was.. off. He distinctly remembered dozing off on the couch, trying his hardest to stay awake in case Zelos came home that night-- but his exhaustion got the better of him, as it usually did. He should have woken up there, limbs half hanging off of the sofa, with the television still quietly playing.. but to his surprise, he woke up in his and Zelos’s bedroom, to a completely quiet and serene morning.

Had he gotten up in the middle of the night and slept walked to his bed? Part of him knew he probably would’ve remembered that, and that he was.. kinda too lazy to do so anyway. So how did he get up there?

Unless.. did someone carry him?

As the realization hit him, the brunette suddenly shot out of his bed like a bat out of hell; bounding out the door and down the stairs. He ran towards the couch, where a familiar lump lay curled beneath a mountain of blankets; and without hesitation, Lloyd launched himself on top of said person, pulling them down to catch a glimpse of his (now awake) face.
