so far my impressions are that atsushi is one of my favorite character types and his future heroic dumbassery is going to send me to the floor in a fetal position several times over oh my god whyy

also i understand the distinct design but also;;;;; want to make his hair more symmetrical

FUCK i like his new outift i want that outfit

speaking of designs though i really like dasai’s or whatever his name is 

listen i know its cliche but,,,,i really like,,,,his hairstyle,,,the bit that goes very low between his eyes,,,,the way the rest of it frames his face,,,,its very aestheticaly pleasing,,,,,,intentionallllllly so probably im lookin g at YOU mangaka person

but yeah i blame oreki he was always tugging at that bit when he was lost in thought and i thought it was a neat little character quirk(?) and now whenerver i see handa or dasai or whoever with that hair bit i get a rush of neurotransmitters trying to make a positive connection

man hyouka was great i should watch that again it’s been forever

but like dasai is the fandom’s darling i can smell it he has some sotr of backstory and he has The Personality

im so here for when people learn how to use their powers and we get to see them grow and learn

y’know something? i dislike it when a story has a specialist or a super fan or something and then those characters show no knowledge of their interests other than what the plot might demand, just so the sotry can exposition at the audience 

it;s especially egregious when that character is the protagonist and it’s just liek, really? really?? i understand you dont have to know everything but you, an athlete whos admired this guy to the point he is yourr reason for sport, and you dont even know basic facts about him? 

listen your interests arent your personality but they really do help shape your personality

theres this podcast i like, i think it was a girl in space but it might have been a strange case of starship iris, i cant remember i am in a brain null zone im so tired, but the botanist was talking about something that wasnt botany but like it was definitely coming from a botnay point of view, and it was wonderful and i really enjop[
