I might be wrong but I was looking at the notes we get in The Bunny Graveyard, from the Handy Pals.

Which give us the password for the door in the well.

Thought the hand signs looked like sign language. (Though I did dismiss that because it was only hand and than remembered oh yeah ASL.)

Putting it with the ASL alphabet gives you the letters: I L B OX

Aka, I love Box.

For our little box wearing friend, Boxers.

Which feels right given we see a lot of those same messages down the well.

And they are sweet and true.

Also just a creative way to hide a message in a game where a lot of the characters are sentient gloved hands.

you know, I wonder if Boxers is aware of Ben and Nelson’s existence. He’s been living in a well for however long, and it’s possible he ran away before they ever came to live there or he just never met them. Boxers says that everyone is gone (likely only referring to the Handy Pals), and that he needs to know if there are more people out there. If he doesn’t know, this could imply that Boxers was created before Ben and Nelson and give us more of a pre-game timeline or that Silvie/Gardener Skye was keeping them separate for some reason (reference to the “YOU TREATED US LIKE PUPPETS” line).

I know there's a good chance Fingertaker didn't make it but I hope they do.

Boxers pretty much lost every other of his handy pal friends, I hope he doesn't have to lose Fingertaker as well.
