Anyone else put so much pressure on themselves to not draw anything similar to another drawing they made
Like I can’t even draw just a basic bust shot of any character I like to draw without my brain saying like “Ohoho!! It seems you have already drawn that character in that exact pose!! We wouldn’t want to unoriginal now would we? Ohoho!!”
And i’ll have to oblige because god forbid I draw something similar to something else I’ve drawn. GOD FORBID.
#bowow-rambles#art struggles#it doesn’t help that everyone is talking abt “art regression and now I’m terrified uhhhgggghgh#Art is supposed to be fun what is happening#vent#maybe?? idk I don’t really like venting lol

Thinking about when I first found out about Minecraft.
It’s a very vivid memory. My family were visiting some family friends, I was probably the youngest of the kids there, my sister wasn’t far off though. One of the kids around my brother’s age was on the computer so naturally we were all tuned in to what he was doing. Someone suggested playing “that Lego game.”
Now as a kid I loved legos, still do, but at the time they were such a huge special interest for me, so I was pretty psyched.
But the kid instead opened up a game I had never seen before, and a game that looked nothing like Lego, or the types of graphics you’d see when you play your standard Lego computer games.
Specifically what he was building was some kind of pyramid made up of a whole lot of different blocks, at least that’s what I remember. I was very interested in the game and later found out it was this small building game called “Minecraft”
So naturally when I got home, me and my sister asked our parents if we could buy it, and eventually we were able to play on our dad’s laptop. The moment we opened up a new world we were being attacked by a million mobs because we had spawned in the forest in the middle of the night, you know, early Minecraft things. That scared us bad enough to stop playing for a bit.
Later on we found the online communities for the game, the YouTubers, the different mods and parody songs, and at some point we had gotten the game on our family Xbox 360.
I have very fond memories of trying to glitch into the castle while playing the demo world, mixing up what side my character was on while using the split screen format, building the ugliest structures in creative mode, and of course crying my eyes out when my pet dog would die.
I feel like Minecraft’s just one of those games that will always stick with you. At least it did for me.
#bowow rambles#Minecraft#this was way longer than I thought it would be lol#uhhh block game is pretty cool ig#nostalgia#shoutout rt game’s Minecraft let’s play for making me all sentimental it’s all his fault

Had a dream last night that there was an old live action warrior cats family movie from the 90’s/2000’s. It had Thackeray binx-esque animation for the cats and used practical effects for any action scenes.
I don’t think it stayed true to the source material and it had way more of an emphasis on a random human family than the warrior cats. I don’t think the cats even talked.
It felt like a company wanted to make a movie based on the books, but felt like people wouldn’t relate to or understand it if the main characters were cats, or they thought the audience would be lost with the whole clan hierarchy system. So they just made about a family who had a cat that wanted to join this wacky community of wild cats who fight each other other.
I think tigerstar was there though but I think we was just a cat who wanted to fight other cats or take over the world or kill all humans or something??? Weird shit
#bowow rambles#warrior cats#weird dreams#dream journal#the dad of the family was played by Nicholas cage for some reason too
