As a one-sided crush, Scar loves Susie more than everything in this world, but Susie herself can't see him anything else other than a friend. A little bit of light slipped into Kamui’s eyes, causing the woman to groan and turn over in her bed. The bed seemed a bit small, and Kamui huddled into herself, hands gripping the blankets edges with a death grip. “Let me sleep...” She mumbled, trying to block out the light that was slipping through.

“I’m afraid that isn’t possible, milady.” An oddly familiar voice responded.

What.

Kamui peeked open her eyes, moving the blanket from hiding her eyesight. Looking back at her was a black-haired woman, with a ponytail pulled back with a white tie, with no strands covering her face. She wore an outfit befitting an adventurer, with a big, goldish-yellow bowcape wrapped around her shoulders. The outfit itself was a pale red color.

What in the name of Anankos...?

“Milady, did you stay up late?” Kagero said, her slight smile turning into a frown.

A man with untamed, long brown hair, who was previously picking at something on his red and purple arm guard, stammered, “W-Well, at least she woke up wh-when we lit her room! Ah, I think Azura has your clothes though...”

Why the hell is Ryoma talking like Felicia?! Why does Kagero not have her face covered? Why are they in my room back at-

Kamui looked away from them for a moment, and her heart fell.

It’s dark outside the window. It looks super early, like they woke her up before the sun rose... Was she really back at the very beginning?

“Hello, Milady. I have your armor and actual clothes ready.” Azura said, lifting up her ears from her head. The blue-haired lady pointed a tail in the direction of the doorway, where another blue-haired woman stood, her ears pointed downward and a hand over her face. Azura snickered, “Unlike miss old dog over here, I actually remembered that you didn’t wear the flower dresses to the outside world!”

The blue-haired ‘dog’ lowered her hand from her face, showing multitudes of scars slashing diagonally across it. Flora growled, smirking, “Well, at least I even remembered what day it was! I thought foxes were supposed to be serene and graceful, so I assumed you would know.”

What the hell.

“Hmm... good point. I assumed you would be distant because of your record, hehe~” Azura’s tail waved as she placed the clothes and armor pieces on the foot of Kamui’s smaller bed.

This is NOT normal in any way. Azura is NOT a kitsune. She wouldn’t just laugh like that, or jab at others so openly! She’s not the quiet singer...

“Ah, but then you met me. I’m your pack leader now, aren’t I, aren’t I?” Flora’s tail wagged, ears perking up slightly.

WHY IS FLORA A WOLF WHY IS SHE SO FRIENDLY? She admitted to me herself that she wasn’t that skilled with fighting at first, now she’s talking about... being old....

she has scars...

Is she Gunter? Is she in the spot that-

“Ah, Kamui! Would you be looking at my nice fur?” Azura teased, placing a finger on her chin and flicking her chin. “You can play with it after we get you dressed and ready to fight with Scarlet?”

Kamui resisted saying, who?, but instead rubbed at her eyes, getting up to grab at her armor and clothes. Ryoma bowed, then swiftly walked out of the room. Kagero rolled her eyes, then tapped after Ryoma, closing the door behind her.

“Hehe, some people are still sensitive to that, Kamui!” Azura leaned on Kamui’s arm, giggling still. “Honestly, you’re still a bit naive after all we’ve taught you!”

Shit, Soleil really affected...!

Kamui smirked, nodding. “Maybe. Maybe not.”

Flora barked out a laugh, and stepped forward to inspect the armor pieces. A little pout emerged on her face, then stepped back.

“Disappointed it’s not cracked in any way?” Kamui asked, pulling her nightgown off over her head.

“I pounded all of the dents out! Need armor to survive the onslaught that’s your sister!” Azura pushed off of Kamui’s shoulder, spinning around, then posing. Kamui giggled at that, and Azura sighed, smile still on her face. “Maybe today’s the day you’ll go outside. You always wanted to go… right?”

“Yeah, that desire is still there!” Kamui looked outside, and her smile at this Azura’s antics faded at the blackness that was Nohr’s ground and hills. 

It wasn’t being illuminated by a sun, it was just dark and gloomy. How did she not see that until she went to Hoshido?

Flora perked her ears, then looked up. “I think Scarlet’s waiting. Better change before she gets pissed!”

Azura tensed, tail fur standing on end.

Kamui immediately started to change. If she knew one thing about the Eldest Sibling in any world- gods that was weird to think- was that they tended to hit harder when kept waiting.

With her obsessive antics, she wanted someone by her side, and he hated this. He hates her. She is just a weirdo with no personality whatsoever; or that's what he thought atleast. Spending too much time with someone gets you to know them. They are a bit too similar, in a way. Staying with her is making him.. no, BOTH of them so much worse!! But.. she is so pretty. And horrible. And pretty.
