Vache Highlands - On rapporte que la Reine Victoria aurait déclaré lors d’un voyage dans les Highlands qu’elle préférait le bétail au pelage roux et qu’afin de faire plaisir à la Reine, cela entraîna l’élevage sélectif de la couleur rousse que l’on voit le plus souvent de nos jours, la couleur noire devenant de plus en plus rare avec le temps.
