Peter C Somers, MD has more than 41 years of experience in cosmetology. He is the recipient of AMA Physician Recognition Award for outstanding completion of CME (Continuing Medical Education). He has attended many conferences and seminars such as Lahry Clinic Symposium: Update on Plastic Surgery, Mayo Clinic Symposium on Plastic Surgery, and a two week certification Seminar and Practice on Laser Resurfacing: Fulton Skin Institute.
Peter C Somers MD graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School and his residency in general surgery at Georgetown University and plastic surgery at the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Medicine. After that, he completed his internship and residency from Graduate Hospital, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, General Surgery. Later, he received fellowship training in cosmetic surgery at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach.
