Here's my description, I guess: I can't stand social media, but I use it every day. I've been obsessed with Greek mythology since I was a child—I can't live without it. English is my third language, so I'm still not great at it, even though I speak around seven languages. I'd say I'm a pretty extroverted person. i also want to preface this by saying im writing it while watching a show and listening to a song on repeat. dunno how coherent this'll be

Okay, so! There are, like. An endless number of little guys is living in my brain. So. The one I'll present here is the 'verse I've been doodling obsessively for two days and which got beamed into my head during a six hours nap literally yesterday.

So, literally the base for this is that They Have Wings, but, um. Make it complicated.

The first recorded mutations have no really known date, but they've been around for long enough that we had centuries worth of data surrounding them, and so we can observe their evolution. The most common mutation is simply winged individuals, following the schemas of birds found in nature. Therefore, there are multiple categories of individuals based on which species they're the closest to, but they're also categorized by the type of mutations they're affected by, eg if they only have the usual wings, the size and function of said wings, the presence or absence of a tail, having more than one pair of wings, etc.

Mutations are visible since birth, except for some rare ones that develop later in life, although there has been a slight increase of those in the latest years.

Not all winged individuals are capable of flight. It greatly depends on the size, anatomy and placement of the wings. Some mutations also bring out disabilities, like when wings replace the individual's arms, or when a small pair of wings replace the ears and render the individual deaf (regarding this, a modified sign language is available to those people where then can use their wings for punctuation, intonation and such, for which people without this additional feature have to use their face only. This addition makes it easier for people who struggle with facial expressions to communicate).

Regarding wings' sizes, there are MANY existing possibilities. Some individuals have proportioned wings that allow them to fly just fine, those sort of common. Some have small wings that do not allow them to fly, and they are still a major part of the population. Some are subject to gigantoalastia, a pathology that causes a GREAT disproportion, making the wings gigantic. These individuals are capable of flight, which requires a lot of effort, but need to do a lot of stretching and back muscular reinforcement because it causes lots of back pain.

The fashion industry is hell, btw. Like if you have gigantoalastia or if wings replaced your arms, your clothing options are quite limited.

Non-winged humans still exist! Around 12-13% of world population is not affected by any kind of mutation. But! That number is actually decreasing, slowly. We might be looking at an all-winged population in a few days or centuries. Mutations are also starting to make individuals more and more birdlike, with characteristics like tails or bird feet. Some beaked individuals have also started to make their appearance, with characteristics developing after birth. Scientists are wondering what this means for the future of our species, and also begs the question of our ancestors!

Both these questions greatly distress people btw. Religious groups primarily. They're divided in different factions, some think at the beginning we were all non-winged humans and that we're evolving towards something holy, some think that at the beginning we were something Other and we lost our whatever-privileges along the way and are only able to reclaim them now. Ofc then there's also exclusion, thinking that non-winged individuals should all be killed, that certain mutations should be wiped out, yk. All that. Which is not even especially religious but can also just be bigotry/eugenics. YK.

OH YEAH ALSO MALFORMATIONS!!!! Disability has of course been Thought About. Some people are born with malformed wings and so fundamentally unable to fly. Other mobility aids are more or less equal to those we have today but flight ones are harder to come by and also hard to design.

Also also sometimes people like to customize their wings with piercings and such :3 dyes are also a thing but temporary because of. Well. Shedding.

A loud gasp was yanked from my throat as my hands touched the roof of Jaehyun's car, my other hand was gripping his hair as he went down on me. You wished you would be a common fae around the Jeong household. But it was all a lie.

Jae needed someone to bring home to meet his parents to show he was making progress in school and not fucking around. And What's a better choice then bringing the girl you eat out occasionally in your bmw. “Mom she doesn't want to see any more baby pictures.” he winned sitting beside me draping his arm behind me head. His mom excused her self going outside to talk to his dad about when dinner would be done.

“Your family is nice.” He nodded pulling out his phone putting all his attention on it.I sighed tapping my legs. “Y/n can I ask you something.” Jae’s sister asked standing infront of me, I nodded standing up and walking with her to her room where she closed the door.

“Okay so theirs this guy I like and I think he likes me to but I don’t know if I should make the first move or not.” Areum looked just like their mom long brown hair and roses cheeks. She was younger then Jae by 3 years and was in her last years of highschool.

Jae looked agitated for the rest of the night, you couldn’t help but think you had something to do with it. You guys sat down for dinner and socialized but Jae only gave dry answers to his parents when asked how school was or if he talked to old friends. Something was bothering him.

Once you found a open space you could finally breathe. This was defiantly the last party you were going to this year. What you really needed was a drink. This week had your brain spiraling every which way, not slowing down at all for you to think. You still didn’t know what you were going to say to jaehyun when you saw him.

A little part of you wanted to forget everything his friend told you and go back to the way things were, you so badly wanted to believe everything he said was a lie but a part of you knew it wasn’t.

The problem was you had a faith in jaehyun, you had faith that he wasn’t fully using you and he had more respect for you then what others were saying. Gosh how you wished everything he told you wasn’t true. Maybe you could gaslight yourself into not believing and forgetting everything else. But that quickly changed.

Your heart was fully shattered now, the pieces falling into your stomach. You could tear your eyes away from what you were seeing. Jeahyun was at the part. With a girl pushed up against the making out with her.

She had her arms around his neck and fingers in his hair, like how you use to do. His arm was on the wall behind her while his other hand was feeling up her waist.

God how stupid could you be.

You just wanted to disappear, right then and there. You wanted the ground to open and swallow you up. How could you think and man like that would fall in love with you.Oh how you would do anything for him. How you would answer his phone calls at 3am when he complained about a class or his friends. He pulled away from her with a shit eating grin on his face at that moment he turned his head,his smile dropping from his face. He quickly removed the girls arms from around his neck and stepped away from him. He was looking at you with a new expression. He was caught.

He finally looked at you anger evident on his face ,he closed his eyes tightly. “ I’m a piece of shit, I know that. I know I hurt you but I didn’t care because I was getting something out of it.” Your face fell he did this to you on purpose. “im a narcissist that’s what everyone calls me right? They aren’t lying y/n I don’t care about anyone but myself. I told you not to get attached and look what happened Now your upset.”

You shook your head wrapping yourself in your arms. You hated yourself, why did you put up with this for so long, why did you put yourself in this situation. He was right, you knew what you were getting into but your stupid heart couldn’t take it.

“Why did you start having sex with me?” Jeahyun eyes grew wide. “Y/n- why.” You laughed “it’s because that other girl knew you were full of shit and dropped you isn’t it?” He was clenching his fist. “That’s just what you do, you use girls and drop them when you’re done, when you can no longer control them. A part of him knew you were catching feelings for him, but he still let it happen. It feels good to have someone spend time with him out of care and love instead of lust. anyways. for kim, instead of harry's white outline (there's a white shadow that smells like apricots) which i think resembles becoming someone out of nothing, i gave kim heavy a black shadow bc while he also loses his memories in this au, he becomes a wreck bc of grief from the loss of his partner eyes. in my headcanons, eyes had pale associations and that's part of why he was so good with perception. thus instead of the straight white and colorful lines on harry's, kim has curved lines like pale. the blue is the same blue color of eyes's eyes, and the grey is pale representative. there's also orange in there bc kim's self-expression is Very much orange imo. so he's covering it up (not my idea btw, i took it from @/u3pxx who did a really cool version of kim's portrait for their version of swap au also). he's wearing his pilot jacket, but it's the black one bc after eyes died he decided there was no other way to deal with his death than become eyes, so he decided to start wearing the jacket bc it made him feel a little cooler (eyes was so cool). imo he's also in mourning. so it's black. it's also why he got his hair and his facial hair like that coz it's literally how eyes had it. hes also got the red ears red nose of being alcoholic. bc he's alcoholic and maybe on drugs (like harry was) bc he (kim) completely just can't deal with the pressures of the job without it (they move him to processing and then homicide as a result of eyes's death). but besides the turmoil of the bg and all that past that's haunting him, kim himself is relatively monotone and put-together. the thin white line around him is the thin shred of professionalism he's BARELY holding onto to keep all that misery at bay and hidden from everyone else but like. it won't hold. there's already cracks in it. also the logo on his jacket is my hc for the aerostatics logo

harry meanwhile has the kim halo but it's like a sunrise bc to kim harry's always going to feel like sunrise (both in my hcs for canon and for swap). obviously harry's not as put together and strict and rigid as kim, so his portrait is a lot more colorful (his skills' colors!!). completely vibrant and alive and awake. in this au, harry's still harry but he got over the breakup bc he got therapy and he's on meds for his troubles. i have a line in one of my fanfics about kim taking care of harry post-tribunal where kim realizes harry needs him by his side and that revachol needs him, too. and when kim looks at harry he thinks it's like the entirety of revachol is there in his eyes. so i really wanted harry's eyes to really look striking. also the nametag is just another one of my hcs for their uniforms. they have last name, then 3 stripes for lieutenant (1 for patrol officer, 2 for sergeant, 4 for captain), then two stripes on the top to indicate double-yefreitor, ie other ranks (jean has a single hollow circle for satellite officer).

Btw, in the fic with Dean (the one that inspired me to draw Red) there was this other character that was all lovely dovely with Red. At least from what I remember. like ok. since the truth abt wilbur dropped it has been a steady topic in therapy (sidenote- i literally do not know why but this is a common thing for me. i often get obsessed w media, run w that for maybe a year, fall out of the fandom but still latch onto a couple characters/creators/whathaveyou. for dsmp it was the sorry boys with HEAVY emphasis on ran and wil)

i also have ocd and have a really hard time with "morality" as i call it. genuinely dont know what else to call it. anyway that translates a lot into completely dropping people/musicians/creators etc when i find out theyve actively hurt people.

it's also me doing genuine hours of research into new people and never being able to just casually like something. if a song plays and ive heard more than 2 songs by the artist and i like both i WILL end up doing a deep dive on the artist to see what they have or havent done.

ive been working on that slowly but surely. but anyway. lovejoy. shit got me through when my mom almost died and it felt like a whole new type of grief than what i was already feeling because i KNEW my ocd wouldnt let me listen to them anymore. it was a very back and forth process that i still struggle a lot with.

in therapy it usually goes like

me: like logically i know solely streaming the music on spotify will not bring them very much revenue spotify hates paying their artists and ive never bought merch ive never promoted them ive never made fanart of wil- but my brain thinks immediately if i listen to one song im a horrible person supporting a man that committed domestive violence and is denying it. he has so much support and die hard fans that are going after the victims. i feel like by listening to lovejoy im as bad as them, both him and the fans

her: so. it sounds like youre punishing yourself over something completely out of your control. you did everything you could, went above and beyond to make sure he was a person worthy of your support, yet even his friends didnt know about the abuse at the time. youre keeping yourself from something that you enjoy, something that brought you comfort. you did not know, they didnt know, it wasnt your fault he committed this crime. why should you be punished?

and like. i get it. i really do. i guess part of it is im afraid of what people will think. i do not support wilbur. i fucking hate him for what hes done and i hope he rots in hell. but some of his music brought me comfort in extremely distressing times. listening to music doesnt make me a bad person. knowing does. knowing everything thats happened and continuing to contribute to his fame- thats what kills me about it.

i also know that ran would be so disappointed in me for continuing to listen. so i havent been.

i dont really know what the point of this post is. i guess ive just not seen a perspective like this other than mine. i guess i just hope if other people are afraid like i am (and this is my ocd medicated btw. i have extreme ocd) they can read this and see that if nothing else they arent alone in feeling this way.

AND armor for sleep. there's something about that specific album. i realised i really enjoy albums that tell a story. and the fact that i like themes of angst love blood betrayal etc etc is no surprise either. car underwater got played way too many times

i discovered bedwetters thanks to eurovision, they were one of the options for estonia and i ofc found their old and only album (they released a new one a few weeks ago tho) (i dont know why they have 2 spotify accounts. im not asking). i even got to see them live bc they gave a free concert during summer <33333333 i got a picture with the band too !!!!! so cool

the new hollywood undead album got me back into them so im back to being obsessed. i love my silly california guys :3 i've been keeping up with them since and i desperately need to draw them again, this time without their masks!!!! im very glad that i found alesana to be sooo palatable this year because ive tried to listen to them before when i was a teenager and it just... didn't click, even if i tired. so yeah i get to fix that mistake now.

in spring i had a moment where i listened to sempiternal on repeat on the cd player for multiple days straight and in the past month i've, again, been listening to bmth and specifically sempiternal again so it gets a special place, too.

wilbur is just there because i had jubilee line stuck in my head so so so so much and also it's the best study music ever. also wilbur why is i'm sorry boris so silent. i can barely hear it it makes me angry so i always skip it. and then bc its the end of the album it gives me some lmanburg flag cover-art song that i don't like

anyway here's a special mention to these 3 albums because 1) greeley estates - caveat emptor, i just discovered it this week and i am in love. also greeley estates has been in my radar for quite some time now and i find the singers voice to be very pleasant and interesting? the tone does sth for me 2) brand new - deja entendu, for being stuck in my head for a good week because the tommy gun song wouldn't leave my head since it came on shuffle from my saved mp3 list when net was down 3) just surrender - if these streets could talk, because again i was obsessing over this for like a good week before i forgot about it. good album. not available in serbia tho for some reason

Putting this under a read more because it got long af.

God i think part of the reason why im so obsessed with him is the duality of his character and artistic expression. He used to describe himself as conflicted a lot, especially in his earlier interviews and that pretty much hits the nail in the head i think. I love both his music and filthy frank a lot but I wouldn't be so fascinated with the person behind either of these things if they weren't made by the same guy. I just think he is a fascinating character.

What got me into him? I'm honestly pretty late to the party, i stumbled upon slow dancing in the dark on some random playlist at some point mid 2023. Slow dancing in the dark got famous for a reason: its so fucking good, i was playing it on a loop for weeks. Later i stumbled upon pretty boy, once again by pure chance. I was playing it on loop for a looong time as well. I hadn't even noticed that both of these songs were by the same artist at the time.

Fast forward a few months later, someone i follow here on tumblr dot com rebloged a post that expressed ops utter bafflement that filthy frank had turned his career around so dramatically and that he was a "sadboy musician now". The term slursona was thrown around. The ballads 1 album cover was included in the post and i recognised it imediatelly but i also recognised the name filthy frank.

You see, back in the day my older sister was a huge fan. She was really into this era of youtube bless her heart but ff was one of her faves. She had showed me human ramen AND hair cake back then but i was pretty young and I didn't really speak english well enough to fully understand what was going on. Nonetheless, i was morbidly fascinated but i never got into ff myself. Still i knew who he was.

Finding out that i was listening to his music a DECADE later from a random tumblr post gave me the whiplash of my fucking life. I genuinely got so scared i went and removed sditd from my character playlists and spotify liked songs lol. I let that revelation shimmer within me for a few months until one day i finally decided that i should do some research on the matter. I think i watched the slow dancing in the dark mv first and it completely blew me away. Then i watched the weeaboos video and it made me cry from laughter.

Somehow i ended up listening to his entire discography and watching Every Single filthy frank video ever made. At some point i discovered the notorious filthy frank exposes himself video and that once again blew my mind. I realised that he was the one who accidentally started the harlem shake trend back in 2013. Blew my mind. I listened to pink season ans i realised that the help song ive been seeing around since forever was a pink guy song. Blew my mind. I went home for the holidays and i talked to my other sister about my newfound obsession. Turns out she knew him from glimpses of us. Blew her mind too. Talked to my brother, he knew him from glimpses of us as well. We were all screaming about it for a few days.

This whole phase of mine started at some point in March and its only been getting worse. I don't know how we got here but im not complaining.

If i had to choose a favourite song.... sanctuary is my most listened to song of the year so far, so i probably have to go with that but also sditd, you suck Charlie, like you do, pretty boy, yukon, Mr Hollywood, no fun, demons, see you in 40, nightrider, modus (just to name a few)..... they all hold a very special place in my heart... I just love pretty much most of his songs a whole lot.

As for favourite quote im afraid I don't have a super serious answer to this question fjdksdks. "I just wanna make people sad and horny" is a strong one but also "sorry for being An Fag" and "fucking everyone smokes weed in central park...." fascinate me to no end.

everytime i talk about my playlist of him, i keep thinking of the song caravan because i feel like both the movie whiplash and sadism's hold are similar to me. the psychological stress and manipulation are so fascinating. the ending to whiplash and how ivan manipulates the listener comes out so natural and realistic, it can't be seen unless you really open your eyes and see the dark side on things. it makes you forget what had happened and the process throughout it that made andrew and the listener become like how ivan/fletcher wanted them to be. and the way it makes you give in and think it's completely okay and comforting and safe because it was what you have loved and/or what you have been needing. the whole thing with the psychology behind it makes it so eerie but interesting.

SO BASICALLY It's this au, where L, light and misa are best friends in their freshman year. misa is the most popular girl in school, she's basically a princess and everyone worships her. Light, her boyfriend, is the most popular guy in school as well the smartest. everyone wants to be his friend, or go out with him, or be him. as for him being the smartest, it's kinda true. he has this academic rival, l lawliet. they tie in everything. they have this very heated competition to who is the best at everything. all the other students think they despise each other, but that's actually far from the truth. they're best friends!! they have been since they five actually. they just both let their egos get the best of them. misa is just as part of the group as the other two btw!!!

so, the three are cast as the leads every year in the musical. they have been every year, this was how it worked, no one else seemed to have a problem with it either, so it went unchanged. misa and light were usually the romantic leads, and l would be the other male lead, like for example 7th grade, they were light/jack, misa/kath and l/davey in newsies! anyway, this year however, they find out, (to the boys horror) l and Light were cast as the romantic leads this time. anyway, this leads to painful revelations, healthy communication, unhealthy secrets and suppression and melodrama!!!

agjjddjk that's the main summary of it least. the fic will progress over the course of the year, with occasional flashback chapters bc their backstory in this au is probably my favourite part. there are many things still in development rn, like what to name the fic, and what their school musical should be, anyway yeah!! chapter 1 should be out soon, it's the first day of school :) yeah, tysm for listening!!! and asking ^_^

I'll try to keep this short ❤️ I love this album so much 🥺 And I think I told you that Alone would destroy me and it really did... And it's also my favorite from the album. I can't really explain what I feel when I listen to it, but I always have this tightness in my chest. I had it when I first listened to it and I had a feeling the lyrics would make me cry and they did. It really brings me back to my quarantine days... and not to the better ones. It really has that choking, depressing feeling that quarantine had. I really love his singing in the song too 🥺 He sounds amazing, so gentle, so soft, and yet very strong (I'm literally contradicting myself but anyway)

I really liked Like Crazy too. The mv was amazing, and I read so many theories. Most of them were kinda the same, you know with the woman also representing him. Both the English and Korean versions were done so well 🥺 interlude: dive ❤️ his introduction from the busan concert❤️ oh, and the transition between the songs? Him having a drink at the end of dive, and then like crazy having this "being intoxicated in a club" vibe, and alone starting with an alarm clock... I'm obsessed with this. Also I'm SO SAD letter is only on CD 😭😭 Like I understand why, but Jimin 😭 It's my second favorite from the album, and after listening and crying to Alone, I cried to Letter too 💔 The parallels with blue & grey 😭 Shivi, the urge to get a lyric tattoo from alone or letter 😭

Also I still don't know if he's singing "please me" during Like Crazy and we will never know and it will bother me forever 😂 But anyway. He did such an amazing job, I'm so happy he could finally release this album. And I'm so happy he said he got to overcome and heal from these feelings.

Some of my favorite band kid antics from this past year cause im feeling nostalgic

One of my fellow trumpets in jazz band, a freshman, wrote some really dumb (affectionate) lyrics to one of our jazz pieces that didnt have any. It was basically just the title of the song repeated a few times with some related lyrics, to the tune of the trumpet part. He emailed it to the creator of the song for shits and grins, but the creator said he liked it and approved!

Some of our designated funnymen hid Kung Fu Panda mcdonalds toys around our band director's office

One of said designated funnymen, a Junior tuba, got obsessed, along with his friends (well, friends is kind of an understatement, they were more like a group of the trope of 'its not gay if i kiss the homies goodnight', aka just gay tender enough to make you wonder. but it was still pretty funny), with playing chess, both online and irl, for the last few months of school. He proceeded to sit our band director down after school before our Prism concert and beat him atleast five times

The first day of the Prism concert, after school while we were waiting till it started at six, one of our mellows (the freshman who made the jazz lyrics btw) and one of our senior euphoniums (the senior class had already had their last day by this point) had what they called an "alfredo off". Each of them brought in alfredo pasta they had made and had our band director judge which one was best. The senior had made like, two pounds of it that she brought in big aluminum tins so everyone had some. she put like a pound of cheese in it and it was so buttery and good.....

Unfortunately the mellow jazz lyric freshman was disqualified, as his mom's recipe included jar alfredo mix which was apparently not counted as homemade 😞

I lost my voice a good few times from shouting chants very loudly at football games and pep rallies

The second day of waiting after school for the Prism concert saw one of our trombones (I say, as if there was more than one trombone during marching season this year (our band was very small) lmao) in my year bringing in a gallon of milk to mix with nesquik syrup, because apparently our band director had never had chocolate milk before. Apparently one of the trombone guy's friends had won a nesquik-themed gift basket in a raffle of some kind, but the friend didnt want it and gave it to him. It had like little metal spoons with the rabbit on them and everything. And, yes, they drank it while also playing chess

One of the skits for Prism was a 'Viking trio' where two of our horn freshman (including the jazz lyrics alfredo one, yes) did a duel complete with plastic swords and viking helmets and fake beards, using their french horns as shields, while our band captain/horn and high brass section leader sang some sort of opera (her voice is absolutely beautiful btw).

During one of the many rehearsals done the evenings before the actual concert, they were doing the viking skit but the two dueling weren't really paying attention to where they were on stage, and jazz lyric alfredo guy ended up backing up very quickly.... into one of the walls at the side of the stage. It was all good, the back of his head just hurt for a little bit, but we had alot of fun joking around about it and whenever he messed up on stage/behind the wings he would be like "its not my fault dude, ive got brain damage!"

Speaking of that, the Viking trio... trio got a large amount of the band speaking in southern accents around the end of the year. All of our french horns, including them, in concert band played trumpet in jazz band.... meaning i had to stand next to them. They had been joking around and getting on eachother jokingly the whole year (to the point that our band director had to tell them to pay attention several times.... sigh), and at this point the two freshman (including lyric alfredo guy) had a bit where they were a couple and spoke in southern accents (one of those kinda 'bromance'.... things.... at the band awards night at the end of the year they won "most dynamic duo" and stared lovingly into each other's' eyes while the picture was taken), mostly calling eachother "sweetpea" and "honeybun"

So eventually, the southern accent thing rubbed off on our band captain the one who sung opera in the viking trio. It's important to note that our jazz band setup had the trumpets in back against the wall behind the trombones, and at the other side of the line of us (we had six trumpets including me, i was at the other side of the line near the corner of the wall with the other person from the horn section, as we both played the 4th part and would often share a stand) was the drum set. One day, the band captain/horn/jazz trumpet/jazz vocalist grabbed one of the spare drum sticks that had fallen on the ground... and started calling it a 'bone'. This lead to several times where when the other two of the trio wouldn't shut up in jazz band she would threaten to... bone them. and then they would start referring to her as. (sigh) the boner... as she would. bone them. i wish i was making this up.

This very funny feuding bit (i will admit that i cracked up laughing on several occasions) lasted for a while. and eventually it just started rubbing off on quite a few people, including me (bringing me back to my southern roots, as i claimed.... keep in mind we live in florida). I look back on it fondly, even though it was hard to listen/focus on what our band director was saying from the very back of the setup while they were also laughing and talking for most of the time.... 🙃. But like I said, it was all in good fun

In addition the funnyman junior tuba who got his group of 'sweetpeas'... by which i mean friends... into chess, also fell victim to the southern accents and feuded several times with the other horn freshman from the viking trio over the jazz lyric alfredo freshman.... it was like the world weirdest non-romantic polycule

In jazz band the tuba guy played trombone.... by which i mean he had only recently started playing it in order to be in jazz band. There were several times over the course of the year where he would flat out refuse to play a certain part in some of the songs because they were out of his range... our band director didn't get too mad because that was just how the guy is... like, "oh, classic [tuba guy's name]!" Our band director still made him play the parts he could (and some of the parts he couldn't yet, with some pushing).

He campaigned several times for an opportunity to play 'jazz tuba', to the point where he specifically remembered, from like the very beginning of the year, that one of the times he asked for it our director offhandedly said something "I'll let you do for one song this year but that's it". He reminded our director of this before our big end-of-the-year jazz festival performance, and though he was very sceptical and didn't remember saying it at all (several of us remembered and backed up the tuba guy's claim, even though it was definitely something that was said just to make him shut up about it), our director did let him play tuba in one of our pieces during the festival and prism.

That being said, he sat right in front of me in jazz band, and during class he would turn around and push my stand down. I cannot describe the amount of rage he inspires in me, and I threatened him several times over the course of the year (all in good fun, but it was. super. annoying.). Unfortunately nothing fazes him ever, but he did eventually stop later in the year (once our band captain noticed when she wasn't threatening to 'bone' other members of her section)

One of my absolute favorite moments: during jazz band, I had asked our band director which version of Pokemon Scarlet/Violet he was getting (since he already talked about preordering it), and he was talking about the version specific pokemon, yadda yadda yadda, and then I yelled out that I would get scarlet cause the professor lady is hot, and everyone burst out laughing

One of the trumpet freshman in concert band started slipping pencils into our director's pocket. and then saying "check your pockets" to him during class. Though he only did it a handful of times, it was enough to make our director paranoid when he randomly said it during class

Not necessarily band related, but another one of our trumpet freshman showed me that, somehow, around the very strict district website blocking, that he and his friends had pirated 6 of the main series fnaf games. Apparently they used the big bulkier computers in the game and sim room and just emailed it to their school laptops. Just sharing bc i am very impressed and proud
