I’ve got a new camera being delivered today and I’m stupid excited. My mom gave me a gift card for B&H for my birthday and I put it towards a Nikon F3 😍 While I wait for my new toy to arrive, here are some of my favorite film shots from the last year (that I can’t believe I haven’t posted yet). 

These were taken around Boston with my #minoltax570 on #kodaktmax400 .

I’m sure other photogs can relate. Sometimes you just don’t feel like shooting. I used to fight it (and don’t get me wrong, sometimes it’s good to do so) but this past winter I just felt burnt out and uninspired for so long that putting my camera down for a break felt like the right thing. 

With no pressure and no aim, I waited until the desire to take pictures rekindled itself. It finally did :) So for anyone out they’re struggling in a rut, I promise it will be ok. We all face those times and you can’t always force it, reason with it, or simply push it aside; like a belligerent toddler, our creative whims often have a mind of their own and we’re just along for the ride. This particular photo was taken in the fall of 2018. It’s of the Marriott Long Wharf in Boston, MA. Shot on Kodak ColorPlus 200 with my Minolta X-570
