Man I really hate being this person but the above doesn't mean "so therefore you should feel great, even vindicated when you say unvaccinated people should die." The majority of unvaccinated Americans are people who are less media literate who have been sucked into antivaxx rhetoric through propaganda channels and misinformation. Yes, they hurt people, and yes its good to be mad about that, but wishing death upon misinformed individuals is a pretty shit way to express that.

Instead I recommend getting fucking pissed at large social media platforms for allowing misinformation to spread like wildfire, channels like Fox News for profiting off fear, and the general political media apparatus for politicizing something as vital as public health. I'm from a small community and I've seen a lot of good people who have heard bad ideas come close to death over this shit. If you think those people should have died because of that, I don't respect you or your opinions.

tired of seeing so many posts like "please remember that unvaccinated people aren't just anti-vaxxers, there are also people who CANT get the vaccine" because, in america, there really..... aren't. something like 0.001% of people CAN be allergic to components of the vaccine but it's possible to get a version without those components. there are no other health conditions contraindicated for vaccination. there are conditions that make it less effective but not less effective than being unvaccinated! When you throw around "people who can't get vaccinated" as if that's a huge list and not about 20 people with baroque allergies, you are giving into anti-vaxxer talking points. don't do it!
