Hello people. How are you all doing?? How is your reading month going?? My month in reading is going great. I am loving just getting to read Pride Books and getting to know more about the LGBTQIA+ community. It's really educating and fun. Well, here I am with a review of the book that I read for this Pride Month. 💙It is the book of the month for #bookwormandwormies Bookclub's Pride Month Special. 💙It is a part of #ReadWithPride Readathon hosted by @thewrittenjourney_ @shebusybee_ @doyouevenreallyread and @kitaabeinaursukoon I read this book for the 1st Week of the readathon. Got a little late in posting the review as I was super busy but here it is!!! Book Info: Suicide Notes by Michael Thomas Ford. Pages: 320 Genre: Gay Literature, Memoir, Mental Health. Review: 💙⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟/5 Stars💙. 🌈This book had me completely stunned and also laughing my head off. The book starts with Jeff waking up in a hospital with different doctors and nurses walking around his room. He later finds out that he tried to kill himself by cutting his wrist and his parents administered him in a 45-day mental health program to help him. The book is written from Jeff's POV, it's like he is writing in his diary for 45 days and it is so healing and beautiful. 🌈The book is just filled with so many funny moments and cuteness. The writing style is so hilarious. The way the author uses Jeff's POV to describe the characters is so intriguing. While the book is hilarious, it also touches on several important elements, like Mental Health, Suicide, Friendship, Death, Sexual Assault, depression feelings and so much more. 🌈The formation of the book is so damn intriguing. The entire flow of the book is so smooth. This book made me cry, laugh, jump, sad, and angry, and also fall in love with all the characters. In the end, it left me with a beautiful message that healed me and made me feel so good. It was the perfect Pride Month Read for me. 🌈I will just say, read it! Just read it for a smile and a feeling of self-love. So that's it. I will see you later🙋🏻♀️. Bye people. Take care and BE HAPPY THE WAY YOU ARE CUZ YOU, MY FRIEND, ARE AWESOME!!! Hello people. How are you all doing??? How's reading going??? I just finished the Good son and will be starting Three Thousand Stitches by Sudha Murthy for #bookwormandwormies book club. I feel like I am becoming consistent in posting on Instagram so good news for me😊. Now let's not waste time and get to the review, shall we??? Book Info: The Search For Synergy by Brett Salter. Pages: 220 Pages. Genre: Middle-Grade Fantasy. Summary: “The Search for Synergy” is the story of two young men who are brought together by design to help save the world from the evil that lurks in The Void. Rome and Julian will have to join their fledgling powers and become a fighting duo of knights and dragons, working to fulfill a primordial destiny. This will be especially hard for Rome who, up until now, though he was merely human. Rating: 💙💙💙💙/5 Stars. My Review: What am I supposed to say about this book??? I don't know where to start from!!! I love Dragons, I love Knights and I love them fight with bad people (in this case the Grams) I can't believe I read this book because I loved it. The plot and the characters were so nicely set that this Middle-Grade fantasy book made me a 20-year-old girl feel like I was a kid. I stayed up till 5 just trying to sail through this book as I couldn't put it down. The book was nicely built that is one thing for sure. The world-building was precise and excellent, I didn't find any unnecessary info dump or anything but I did feel like as this is a series some of it should have been kept for later as I somehow got exhausted reading it. I wanted the action to start!!! Maybe that is just my brain dying to know more and see the battle and all that but still, this is how I was feeling at that time. This book had such a nice plotline that I loved it a lot. The writing was a bit off for me on a dialogue basis, still, the descriptive writing was mindblowing. Overall, this book is a great start for a series that makes you feel happy and is perfect for Fantasy lovers old and young. It is clear with a perfect and worth reading storyline that has properly developed antagonists and protagonists. For the full review, check out my blog (Link in bio).
