Summer time reading is full go! I’m currently reading WICKED which has been on my mind lately. I’m a huge fan of humanizing villains and a big villains fan. Of course there are some that I would rather punch in the face but some villains are written so well that you kind of like them at the end. . While the wicked witch isn’t my favorite villain, I love this story so far! I think if I had to pick a villain it would be any of the ones from Disney movies. Jafar, Ursula, Scar are just to name a few. I love listening to author interviews. It is always so interesting to hear their perspective on a story and what their motivations were. I've been loving this Caribbean read and hearing the author chat today gave this novel even more life. I can't wait to read more of this author's work in the future.
