hello lovely maria! so sorry this took me so long to answer! I was halfway through answering and then had to leave unexpectedly so it sat in my drafts for a couple of days! but here we go. they TRULY are getting sosososo good!!! I see you figured out the sharpening snag bc they look so crispy and pretty! I am so glad I could help and if there's anything ever you want to ask please please please dm me ❤ (not that you need any help from me!! you've got gifmaking in the bag) that's such a tough question simply because there are SO many things that i feel like i could sit here and list them off all day. the concept is definitely super interesting - prince falls in love with working class boy?? hello?? instant intrigue. but then once you get past the initial intrigue, i feel like the biggest hook for me was edvin and omar's chemistry. the show isn't realistic at all, the concept and all of the plot twists are super dramatic, obviously, but the show still manages to feel so grounded because simon and wille have this intense magnetism that is just so addicting to watch. the feelings they have for each other read so real on screen. i love love stories, i love romance, i love angst and pining and softness and everything that comes with a good romance. young royals has all of it. it checks every single box for me.

i haven't been asked that before! but it's a really good question. inspiration is tricky, it feels very abstract. if you mean inspiration for my art style? i'm not really sure. i think it's just come from trial and error - trying new things over time, liking them and ending up adding them into my art. 😊 if you mean in the moment inspiration, it varies! i get pretty severe art block a lot, so my inspiration to start a piece usually comes out of nowhere, and i feel like i need to do it right then!! or else the motivation will slip away. my blocks can go on for months sometimes and the worst one lasted an entire year.

i started when i was really little. i've been drawing my entire life, literally for as long as i remember. my mum was a professional artist so she got me started super young!! we've got stacks and stacks of old artwork in the garage that i need to get rid of haha. so many ponies. i am not currently working on anything, unfortunately. i've been in a weird self-conflict about my art for a little bit, so i haven't really started on anything new. aside from that i've been really enjoying watercolour painting but i ran out of the special paper you need for watercolours 😔 so i'm waiting for my paycheck to come to buy some more!! (two weeks away rip). in the meantime i might do some lil pencil things. if i do i'll likely end up posting them on my instagram 🥰
