“Trinidad Especial” from @cocktails_for_breakfast ❤️ - After getting some delicious Orgeat Syrup from @monin_europe I wanted to try a recipe that allowed it to shine. I’m also a big fan of Angostura bitters (who isn’t?!), so when I saw this drink in one of my cocktail books it sounded so interesting. This is from the Book of Bitters by @dradamshob - The base ‘spirit’ in this is actually the bitters. 30ml, or 1 whole ounce of bitters! But it works, it’s amazing! The Orgeat is also front and centre, with a whole ounce of that in there too. It sounds almost crazy, but I highly recommend this drink to anyone 😀 You just can’t have it too often or your Angostura would be empty pretty quickly 😂 This was also my first time using Pisco, although the recipe only called for a small amount. So I’m looking forward to trying out more Pisco drinks soon.
