Clytemnestra, by Constanza Casati

This text describes a retelling of the story of a queen who was born into royalty but married a tyrant. After experiencing tragedy and injustice, she begins to plot for vengeance. 🦩REVIEW🦩 Anarchy  (Hades #2)  by Tate James  Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5+ stars  🦩“I’m not asking for forever,  But you’ll give it to me anyway…”🦩 Oh sh*t…Tate James DID IT AGAIN!!!! at this point I want to say I’m not surprised, but that would be lying, I mean that f*ing cliffhanger left me panting, I am so not OK, and I don’t think I can wait till June!!! Ok so now that THAT is out of my system…OMG OMG OMG what a book!!!! After reading Madison Kate Series I couldn’t believe that Tate could come up with a story just as good, but I was so wrong, this series in my opinion is so much better since we have a prelude series like Madison Kate, I mean I wanted to savor every single word, chapter and situation but I need to know more, and now that I finished, well I just don’t know what to do with my life…and now I’m just sitting here at the corner of my study looking at nothing.  The power that Hades have, has come at a price; not getting attached, not showing her cards, just being a cold-hearted boss. Poppy is a maiden and very important to her society. She must live in what can be described as isolation. Of course, she breaks the rules. She learns to fight and ventures out on her own but on one of her forbidden adventures, she meets someone who changes everything. . After DNFing ACOTAR earlier this year, I just assumed fantasy romance wasn’t for me and I had no plans to pick this one up. That was until one of my best friends was like, “no really read it.” So I did. And I’m surprised that I honestly had a pretty good time. I was sometimes confused by the plot and some scenes were a little strange especially towards the end but I was completely intrigued with what was happening. There’s SO much tension, political and otherwise and it’s just a fun time. I made zero notes while I was reading and just enjoyed the story so sorry for a lack of actual review here! 🦩REVIEW🦩 King of Masters: O’Shea Spin-Off (The Four Families Book 4)  Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️4 stars  🦩“Without my queen, the crown is heavy…”🦩 This time Brynn Ford gives us an amazing Spin-off from her series The Four Families, Murphy O’Shea is the King of the reign, a villain who has learned to be a monster from the very beginning, it’s all he knew and as a king he needs a queen, but the queen he desires is no damsel in distress, it’s a complete outsider and knows nothing about Murphy’s world but soon Stella will see she’s built for that and so much more.  These are two electrifying characters that take charge in their own story, Stella and Murphy are one strong couple and I love when such amazing characters speak to the author for their story to be told!!!  📚QOTD: How many books have you read in 2021?
