I can’t stand how they taste, and they contaminate everything with their slimy flavor. 🥒 🍉 🍈. 2) Driving. It’s a necessary evil here in Nashville, but I am eagerly awaiting the day we have self-driving cars like in “I Am Robot”. 🚗. 3) Bigotry/sexism/racism/etc. Seriously, I shouldn’t even have to say this. ���. 4) Flying. I do it because there aren’t a lot of other options if I want to travel, but I’m afraid I’m gonna die every time I set foot on a plane. I would dearly love it if I could just be tranquilized for every flight and just sleep thru the whole thing. ✈️. 5) Spiders. Yeah, yeah, they perform a service, but can’t they do it in secret? Freaky, horrible things… 🕷. 6) Movie covers on books. No! Bad book publishers! This should not be allowed! 😖. 7) When you’re trying to do something sincerely nice for someone and it goes badly. It makes me so sad when well intentioned actions end up getting messed up in some way. 😢. 8) Industrial/factory farming. There’s a lot behind this, but it’s bad for animals, the environment, and people. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good burger or chicken or whatever, but the practices behind where it came from matter. Meat: A Love Story (the book pictured above) is a really interesting read about the different ways of getting meat onto our plates if anyone is interested. 🐄🐖🐓. 9) Cancer. Screw you <— The nice version of what I’m saying in my head. 10) Empty words. Be honest with me and tell me what you really think. It’s difficult to function effectively with missing or inaccurate information. Likewise, don’t commit to something and then act like it’s no big deal if you renege. I already have enough trust issues as it is; this isn’t helping. . We now return to our regularly scheduled (positive) programming.
