In this blog, we’ll guide you through everything you need to know about booking flights to Mumbai, tips to find cheap fares, and what to expect when you land.
Why Visit Mumbai?
Mumbai is a city like no other, offering a diverse range of experiences for every traveler. Here are some of the key attractions you can enjoy in the city:
Gateway of India: A historical monument that overlooks the Arabian Sea, symbolizing Mumbai’s colonial past.
Marine Drive: Known as the Queen’s Necklace, this scenic promenade is perfect for evening walks with stunning views of the city’s coastline.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST): A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this grand railway station is an architectural marvel blending Victorian Gothic and Indian styles.
Bollywood: Mumbai is the heart of India’s film industry. Don’t miss the chance to visit a film studio or even catch a live shooting.

In addition to these attractions, Mumbai is famous for its bustling street markets, delicious street food like Vada Pav and Pani Puri, and its vibrant nightlife.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM)
Mumbai is served by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM), which is one of the busiest airports in India. Located about 20 kilometers from the city center, the airport is well-connected to domestic and international destinations. It offers modern facilities, world-class lounges, and various dining and shopping options, making it a comfortable entry point for travelers.
Domestic Flights to Mumbai
Mumbai is connected to all major Indian cities with frequent domestic flights. Popular airlines like IndiGo, SpiceJet, Vistara, Go First, and Air India operate regular flights to Mumbai from cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, and Ahmedabad.
Given the high frequency of flights to Mumbai, travelers have plenty of options to choose from, making it convenient to plan both short and long trips.
International Flights to Mumbai
Mumbai’s international airport is a major gateway to the rest of the world. Airlines such as Emirates, Qatar Airways, British Airways, Singapore Airlines, and Etihad Airways operate flights to Mumbai from key international cities like Dubai, London, New York, Singapore, Bangkok, and Doha. The airport is also well connected to major destinations across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America, making it easy for global travelers to reach Mumbai.
How to Find Cheap Flight Tickets to Mumbai
If you’re looking for affordable flight tickets to Mumbai, here are some tips that can help:
Book in Advance: Airfares tend to rise closer to the travel date, especially during peak seasons. Booking your tickets a few weeks or months in advance can help you secure lower prices.
Use Flight Comparison Tools: Websites like FlightsMojo allow you to compare airfares across multiple airlines, ensuring you get the best deals on flights to Mumbai.
Flexible Dates: If your travel dates are flexible, consider flying on weekdays or during off-peak seasons to save money. Flights during mid-week or at odd hours are often cheaper.
Look for Discounts and Offers: Many airlines offer seasonal discounts, festival offers, and loyalty rewards. Keep an eye out for these promotions, as they can significantly reduce your ticket cost.
Book Round Trip Tickets: Booking round-trip tickets often comes at a lower price than booking one-way tickets separately. If your travel plans are fixed, consider booking a round-trip ticket to save money.
Best Time to Visit Mumbai
The best time to visit Mumbai is during the winter months from November to February, when the weather is cool and pleasant, making it ideal for sightseeing. This is also a peak tourist season, so be sure to book your flights and accommodation in advance to avoid higher prices.
The monsoon season (June to September) brings heavy rainfall to the city, which can sometimes lead to delays in flights and public transport. However, if you love the rain, visiting Mumbai during the monsoons offers a unique experience as the city transforms into a lush green landscape.
The summer months (March to May) can be quite hot and humid, so plan your visit accordingly if you’re traveling during this period.
What to Expect Upon Arrival in Mumbai
Upon arriving at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, you will find various transportation options to reach your destination. Taxis, app-based cabs (Uber, Ola), and prepaid taxis are available right outside the airport terminals. BALI TRIP PACKAGE: HOW TO REACH BALI
Tumblr media
Bali is a popular tourist destination among Indians due to its stunning natural beauty, rich cultural history, diverse flora and fauna, beautiful beaches, vibrant food culture, and many other reasons. You can plan a trip to Bali with your friends and family or even take a solo trip to this amazing island. While planning to go to Bali, the first question that comes to people’s minds is how to reach Bali from India, and some people drop the plan of going to Bali as soon as they see the price of the tickets. We will let you know that, despite being the most popular tourist destination in Indonesia, you cannot reach Bali from India directly by train, ship, or road.
The best and easiest way to reach Bali from India is by air and water. Flip Trip Holidays offers a number of Bali trip packages to give you an unforgettable experience, and you can also customize these packages as per your choice. All of them are available at affordable prices.
The three ways to reach Bali from India are air travel, train travel, and boat travel. However, amidst all this, the only direct way to reach Bali from India is by air travel.
HOW TO REACH BALI BY AIR
The most convenient and efficient way to get bail from India is by flight. Ngurah Rai International Airport, located in the southern part of the island and also known as Denpasar International Airport, is the main airport and the third busiest airport in Bali. The total distance from Bali to India is 58269 km, and it will take approximately 9 hours to reach Bali from India by air.
If you are travelling from Indian cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi, and Kolkata, connect to Denpasar International Airport in Bali. Many famous airlines like Malaysia Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Thai, Malindo Air, Air India, and AirAsia operate flights between these cities and Bali. While there is no direct flight to reach Bali from India, all the travelers stop in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, or Bangkok, from where you can easily get connecting flights to Bali. The airport is well connected to all major cities in Bali and beyond.
You can find the cheapest flight from Chennai, Kolkata, and Cochin to Bali. To get packages at cheap and affordable prices, it would be best to make your flight booking or Bali tour packages with Flip Trip Holidays. AirAsia usually offers reasonably priced flight tickets from around Rs 20,000 with a stopover in Kuala Lumpur. At Ngurah Rai Airport, you will get all the amenities, such as currency exchange, transportation service, and car rental. Make sure you have your visa and other necessary documents with you before you leave for a trip to bail. Another good way is to first take a flight to Bangkok and then from there to Bali.
If you want to explore more places, you can take domestic flights to Indonesian cities like Jakarta, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Bandung, and Lombok. All these cities offer direct flights to Bali at very affordable rates.
HOW TO REACH BALI BY TRAIN
First of all, you have to travel places like Jakarta, Yogyakarta, or Bandung. which will connect you to Gubeng station in Surabaya, then from that station you can catch an air conditioner train to Banyuwangi, and then change to a ferry that will take you to Bali. If you are planning to go there for your honeymoon, that too by train, then it would be better if you took a Bali honeymoon package; it will be more economical and cheaper than the train. Ferry travel is very popular and also a long journey to reach Bali; it takes around 23 hours to reach Bali from Jakarta.
HOW TO REACH BALI BY SHIP
The most interesting way to reach Bali is by ship, and it will make your trip more adventurous. There is no direct ship from India to reach Bali. If you want to reach Bali by ship, first you have to fly from India to Singapore, Sumatra, or Java from any of these places. Then, from there, you can book a ferry to travel to Bali.
Bali is an ideal destination for honeymooners and cruise lovers. Cruise ships from Southeast Asia often arrive at Bali Port. But sometimes here you may have to face unpleasant situations like a sea storm, some problems on the cruise, and many more. Especially if you are seasick, it is advisable that you not go there by ship.
Conclusion
In conclusion, there are many ways to reach Bali from India, which we have already mentioned above. But if you want to make your travel hassle-free, then going to Bali by air will be convenient and enjoyable. Connect with Flip Trip Holidays to get round-trip Bali flight tickets at affordable prices through Bali Trip Packages.

Bangkok is the capital of Thailand, the entertainment city of Asia that includes activities for everyone's taste. Thailand is a constitutional monarchy that has many splendid palaces and other monuments depicting the glorious days of the country. Thailand is a Buddist country, hence it has many shrines dedicated to Buddha. Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok is the official airport of Thailand. The country still inherits pieces of Hindu culture. The hindu and Buddist culture runs deep in the Thailand society further strengthening the bond between the two countries.
You can easily find the cheapest flights to Bangkok (BKK) with good discounts and offers online. GoAir is one of the airlines that provides cheap tickets and along with that, you can also avail some of their promotional offers, student discounts and their 13th birthday offer that is coming up. I have been to Bangkok before and they have a lot of flights to Bangkok. Also, if you are a shopaholic then let me tell you that you are surely going to have a good time there.
You can pick your city of convenience and simply book a flight from Bangkok to the respective city. GoAir has recently started a bunch of international flights to serve customers with regard to affordable travel. If you make booking much in advance, you wouldn’t have to worry about your travel expenses at all. So just go ahead and book your tickets with GoAir and your purpose would be met.
If you want to find good deals, then you should buy a flight from Kolkata, Chennai or Kochi to Bangkok. Make sure to book your ticket with any of the following airlines:
Go Air
Air Asia
Spicejet
Indigo.
In my experience, they offer the best deals. I also recommend you to use BookOtrip India for finding the best prices. This is the searcher I use anytime I want to book a flight.
The cheapest flights to Bangkok from India can be found from either Kolkata or Chennai. Both these cities, along with the other major ones such as Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai operate direct flights to the Thai capital. Prices to this Southeast Asian hotspot start from as low as INR 8,000 and extend up to INR 30,000 – as they depend on various factors such as place of departure, travel season and preferred airline. There are two points of arrival in Bangkok i.e. the two main airports – Don Mueang International Airport & Suvarnabhumi Airport.
The main reason behind this is that both of these cities are comparatively closer to the Thailand capital so naturally the running cost for the companies is low and Bangkok is a very popular tourist destination for Indians throughout the year the flights are always booked and to get a piece of this business almost every big flight company is running a wide range of flights from both of these airports, at various times and various price points.
