I mean talking about the left in Argentina is complex because the Leninist left here was and is still dominated by Trotskysm which have always fragmented into lots of tiny parties (I think some guy on Twitter counted like 120 of them active today) and the main movement supported by the working class is Peronism, which is it's own thing* which also had right-wing and left wing movements inside, including revolutionary ones like the Tendencia Revolucionaria and Montoneros. You could say that peronist currents, especially Kirchnerism, represent the mainstream left in Argentina, but there was also neoliberal Menemism, the federal and provincial versions...

And I'm of course skipping anarchists, social democrats (the UCR was a revolutionary party at one point), the Socialist party (today nearly extinct) liberation theology (often involved with all the previous and more). I'm sure I'm forgetting lots of stuff.

Posadists are, and I know this is a stock phrase, barely a footnote.

*from an outsiders perspective I think it's useful to compare Peronism to European social-democracies, the USA New Deal, etc., with Catholic inspired social theology but with an anti-imperialist Third World perspective (like Nasser, Tito, and others) and also whatever Perón liked at any given moment which ranged from Franco to Che Guevara and Mao. This was when Perón was still alive though, I'm not even talking about Menem and the Kirchners.

🤪 I feel like for Bombitas character something that would be over exaggerated is her goofy nature as a Rodeo clown and her love of bombs. It pretty much IS her character but at the same time knowing how fandoms can be, if a character has a trope that's just mentioned once it'll be their trope forever. But it's fun and silly! She's supposed to be that!

😡 I'm not exactly sure. Since Bombita is a self-interest there's a lot of things I would hate others to portray her as. The main things that comes to mind is childish to an obnoxious amount. Just because she has a silly nature doesn't mean she can't be mature when the situation calls for it. Awfully clingy..like cringe yandere type of thing. Though yes I ship her with Victor, that's not her ENTIRE character, I want her to have a bit more depth y'know?

Había una teoría "conspirativa" (en chiste), no recuerdo en donde la leí y no la puedo encontrar, de que existía una década perdida entre los 1970 y los 1980, la década de los 19X0, para explicar el "salto" repentino de estética, tecnología, y política entre las dos décadas (si uno lo piensa, sí, como que hay cierta continuidad entre los 60 y 70, y luego entre los 80 y 90, pero entre 70 y 80? hay como un salto)

Y me recuerda acá en Latinoamérica al salto repentino que hubo entre los 60 y 70, donde parecía que se venía la revolución y el fin del viejo mundo, que parecía que todo iba a cambiar, que la opresión de los dictadores iba a terminar e iba a nacer un nuevo mundo socialista, donde las marchas, la militancia, las organizaciones no estaban solamente para defender los derechos que fueron conquistados sino para derrocar la antigua sociedad y construir el futuro.

Y luego, se terminó todo. Nadie se animó a tomar el cielo por asalto.
