Anson Mount literally created his own sign language instead of just doing random hand movements, man learned ASL and then created a specific sign language for Inhumans because he knew Black Bolt wouldn't know ASL because Attilan was hidden on the moon in the show

It does bother me when comics have Black Bolt speak perfectly when he is magically given the gift of speech. If you don't speak for a few days, your voice begins to get croaky and tired, because the muscles in your vocal cords aren't being used. Blackagar wouldn't have spoken for months, years, if not more at a time, only ever saying single words, and you're telling me he's ready to speak at a moments notice?? Nope. Nuh uh. And obviously there's the inherent ableism inherent to making Black Bolt speak but we understand that implicitly so no need to get into it.
