C2 - Bold Park Foliage (Idea)
Similar to the design of a centre piece hanging above a bridal party I thought to incorporate this concept into the exhibit - bring a little of the outdoors in.
Using a thick tree branch as a base and then tying bush leaves/foliage to it or draped down from it with clear fishing line and arranged in a chaotic array would soundly represent the bushland around the park. I plan to hang this from the beams in the main room and use it as a room divider (needs to come down to at least a toddlers height).
Another way of using it is to incorporate it in the same manner the information panels are hung from the metal frames.

Friends of Bold Park Bushland Logo
Left: The old design - Right: The new revised design
Im not entirely sure how I feel about the change; as much as I love the realism and depth of detail and colour in the new image, theres just something about the two dimensional simplicity of the first one that sits well with me.
Your thoughts?

Sculpture by the Sea
13th Annual Cottesloe Exhibition Event running from Friday the 3rd of March till Monday the 20th of March 2017
Sculpture by the Sea is an annual event held at Cottesloe Beach in Perth. The event began in Bondi, Sydney, in 1997, when David Handley, the Founding Director wanted to create a free to the public major exhibition of arts. In 2005, Sculpture by the Sea was launched in Cottesloe and has been held annually at Cottesloe Beach
We visited it as a group for Uni and for me it was the very first time I had ever been. There were many artworks to be seen, ranging from aesthetically pleasing, to mathematical and just plain trippy. Above are some examples and photos I took of the ones either I procured a liking to or found interesting.
