"Happy birthdaaaaayy!" He could hear Lamya from quite far away when all of a sudden, the blue mage tackles him in a hug. (Via bokobreeder)

It does not take long for the Burmecian to recognize the voice ringing out from far away, but it is all the same not quick enough to be prepared in time for that which follows then.

For by the time he has recognized Lamya’s voice and turned to face her, she is already upon him, delivering a textbook tackle hug. And though she is considerably shorter than he is, she is all the same stronger - and seeing how fast she was on her feet...

“Woah!!”

A mage is no match for the force of nature that the chocobo breeder represented, and so she ends up tackling the poor guy to the ground - fortunately, he does not seem to mind it all that much, seeing how he soon begins to laugh.

“Heh, thank you, Lamya! I see you’re in high spirits, huh?”

Lamya takes a moment to take slow and deep breaths. Her face was visibly blushed. She stands before Ricard, looking at him straight in his eyes. "The gray mages want me to kiss you, so pucker up, handsome!" She pulls him close and kisses the dragoon on the lips. Aeons, give her strength. (Via bokobreeder)

Grey mages? What in the frozen hells were those?

The thought is cut short when he feels Lamya’s mouth on his own. Had he not been sitting, it would have been difficult for her to reach so high without standing on a box or something similar. Ricard finds his hand lifting of its own accord, fingers easing into Lamya’s hair and cupping the back of her head as he leans forward into the kiss.

Her mouth is soft under his own. He can taste something sweet on her lips, as though she’d drunk a cup of mead before approaching him with this.

He let her go after a moment, please to see the red on her cheeks and the faint swell of her lips.

“I hope that satisfies.” Ricard says with obvious amusement. “Anything more and we ought to charge them.”

“I have just the thing! It’s the right season for good old fashioned Glogg but with a twist!”

1.5 liter bottle inexpensive dry red wine

1.5 liter bottle inexpensive American port

750 ml bottle inexpensive brandy

10 inches total of cinnamon sticks

15 cardamom seed pods or 1 teaspoon whole cardamom seeds

2 dozen whole cloves

1 orange peel, whole and washed

1/2 cup dark raisins

1 cup blanched almonds

2 cups sugar

Garnish with the peel of another orange

Mix this with a tea made of

100g caapi, 0.5g mushrooms, and 35g chacruna

A Merry Sceada Advent - Day 7

@bokobreeder​​ - 🎉 Day 7: A Stroll in the Snow

It was not that often that Sceada got to spend time together with Maria’s dear friend, and it had become even rarer in the last couple of months. Still, when this opportunity offered itself, he did not have to think twice, asking her to accompany him for a little stroll in the snow.

Winter had a tendency to paint the landscapes more peaceful and calm, granting the world a beauty that, at least to Sceada, was unparalleled. And Lamya too seemed to enjoy herself - though maybe not entirely in the way the Burmecian did.

After all, Lamya was more of the mischievous sort, and not exactly the kind to silently contemplate and enjoy their surroundings. And Sceada would soon be reminded of just how mischievous she could be...

They had been walking leisurely for about twenty minutes when Lamya appeared to get bored, and would playfully nudge the Burmecian, who’d at first be slightly irritated. However, with the chocobo farmer looking so amused and enthusiastic, he simply couldn’t be mad.

And thus, it eventually turned from a enjoyable little walk into a game of playfully shoving each other, always attempting to push the other into a pile of snow.

Lamya seemed especially eager to win this game, sometimes pushing the Black Mage with a bit much strength, leaving him to either almost fall or, in one case, to bump into a tree - a tree which, naturally, promptly would shed a fair deal of the snow covering it’s branches right onto the young man.

Brrrr... cold... - but at least they were both having fun, right? And as an ice mage, he could handle the cold. For the most part, at least.

Although, when he tries to strike back, he quickly learns that the significantly smaller woman was much stronger and steady on her feet than he was. For when he tries to catch her unaware a few minutes later, she not only withstands him, no, she repels him.

And when she thus playfully checks him aside, Sceada would quickly learn that their current path led along a steep little slope...

Naturally, he’d fall, and roll down the slope, through the thick snow, ultimately coming to a rest at the bottom of it, causing Lamya to worry briefly. But when he does stop and emerges, he does not look angry or hurt, no.

Instead, the  Burmecian would be laughing and smiling.

Because, after all, they were having fun here together, right And later, they could surely both warm up at a cozy place...

"Oh Golly! Are you okay Sir Dragoon? Forgive my boys, they can get a lil excited!" Lamya ran towards Ricard, who was being sniffed by a group of hounds and the resident teenage behemoth who seem highly interested in his boots. It seems that her hunting crew have found themselves a possible friend. (via bokobreeder)

Holding himself very still, Ricard did his best to quash the impulse to reach for his spear as the behemoth nosed at his boots. The hounds he was alright with - had he been more familiar with them he might have reach to pat their heads. The sound of a voice drew his attention from his unexpected visitors, drawing a blink from him as the stranger approached.

“I’m well enough.” He manages, subtly drawing back when the behemoth sniffs him again. The beast seemed docile for one of its kind, but he still frowned at it being so close. “No harm done, at least. Are these all yours?” He asked, carefully gesturing at the group.

Faris, who was currently using the Monk class, smirked. Easiest hundred gil she’d make. “Do you really want to test that hypothesis, or was that just rhetorical?” the Captain asked, and depending on Lamya’s answer, she might might have a waver ready.
